A retired assistant chief of police, VK POWELL lives in North Carolina and is a member of the Golden Crown Literary Society and Romance Writers of America. She edits everything from textbooks to popular nonfiction to mysteries and romance novels. She lives with her cat, Frieda, and enjoys being silly.
NELL STARK is a graduate student of medieval English literature in Madison, Wisconsin, where she lives with her partner and their two cats. RENÉE STRIDER settled down in her favorite Canadian city after bouncing from place to place in Europe, Canada, and the U.S. for most of her life.
