Head down Allorus said “I’m sorry to put you in such a difficult position, it’s just I have no one else to ask. Even the more experienced soldiers are below my rank, so I can’t ask them something so personal. Father did speak to me when I was old enough to want a female and he said pretty much what you have just said. He also said to look on those experiences as a lesson for when I did take a mate”.

“He was right experience helps a man if he falls for a virgin. I suspect that your Rebecca is stronger than you think and she will show you what she is ready for. Trust your instincts Allorus, you’re a good male”.

“Thank you Lady Joanna, I’m so glad I plucked up the courage to talk to you about an embarrassing subject”.

Jo laughed “After living with your father for over a decade, nothing is likely to embarrass me. Now as to the Escorii males treating the women; I think we should try it. If it works we will be heroes and if it fails we’ll weather the storm. I’ll let your advisors know that I am behind you in this, so you’ll have no opposition; my decisions are rarely questioned now”.

“I’m in your debt Lady Joanna, it has helped me a lot, having someone to talk to”.

“No Allorus, not in my debt. Your mother Lady Ileya helped me a lot and I grew very fond of her. So it is an honour to help her sons. Well I must go, please let me know how things are proceeding and if you hear from Acorus”.

Allorus walked her to the door “If I have as much with Rebecca as you do with father I’ll be a very lucky male”.

Jo stood on tiptoe and kissed his cheek “I’m looking forward to meeting your girl, make sure it doesn’t take too long”.

As they parted, Jo heading down to terra firma and Allorus to the flight deck, she smiled as she saw him square his shoulders and stride off. He was almost his father’s double and she thought how lucky the girl would be who captured his heart.

When Allorus arrived at the flight deck he sent for Kheta and when he appeared told him that they were going to put their plan into action. then he went into his office and carried on with reading the reports that had piled up in his absence.

  Chapter 9

Two days later the Escorii started treating the chosen women. Heather, Reed’s wife, was to be first; much to everyone’s surprise he’d agreed for her to be given solely into the Escorrii males care. Jo had spoken to him when Kheta had informed her and Allorus that she was a suitable subject for the trial. Reed had listened carefully to Jo and then to his wife’s doctors, who had told him that she would not get better under conventional treatment.

When the Escorrii came to take her he’d let go of her hand and walked determinately away Tears running unstopped down his cheeks. Jo let him go, understanding a strong man’s need to regain control of his emotions.

It had been decided that the best place to treat the women was one of the cells on the prison deck. The walls were thick and sound proof and people would not be close enough to be affected by the Escorrii’s mind control. They had decided that six of them would be needed and those six could only do one treatment a day, or they may be damaged themselves. As there were only a dozen interrogators on the ship, they would do a treatment one day then rest the next, while six others took over. Both Jo and Allorus were desperate to know what would happen to a human brain bombarded by the Escorrii’s brain waves. However they had agreed to stay away for their own safety.

There were eleven women who had been chosen as suitable for this treatment, The Escorii couldn’t say how many might be lost, so ten beds had been prepared separate from the main hospital. Those women who survived would be taken there and would be nursed as if they were just coming round from an operation on their brains. Some may even be in a coma, nobody knew not even the Escorii, which was why they had tested all the women beforehand, to find those that were the strongest.

Rebecca had begged her superiors to be allowed to stay with Heather, and although it was thought that older properly trained nurses would deal better with the after effects of this unconventional treatment, they had agreed after Allorus had a word with them. His relationship with her was progressing slowly; after speaking with Jo he was more relaxed around her, allowing his love making to progress satisfactorily. He knew that if Heather survived Becca would be busy caring for her and he would see less of her, but he was wise enough to bide his time. She sought his company and they had beamed down to Earth and gone for a walk in the countryside. Nature was repairing the damage done by the Xenorrii, and birds and wildlife were once again busy in the greenery. They had talked and walked hand in hand, stopping to kiss occasionally, behaving like any courting couple.

After six long hours the Escorii sent word that Heather had survived and was on her way to the ward to recover. Jo, Rebecca and Allorus rushed to her side to find her peacefully asleep with an Escori female looking after her. She was wired up to monitoring machines and all her vital signs were normal. Kheta had accompanied her to the ward and after checking the readings on the machines had declared himself satisfied that she would wake up naturally.

It was decided that Jo and Rebecca would be there when she woke up, as of course, the Escorii would frighten her because she would have no recollection of the Xenorrii attack and her abduction. Settling down for a long wait, they talked quietly to each other, Rebecca being very interested in Jo’s abduction and Acorus. Jo told her what it had been like to be taken to a strange planet and given to a frightening Sceriae male. When she spoke of how Acorus had treated her, Rebecca was horrified at first but then as Jo explained the reasons for her abduction she began to understand what a predicament the Sceriae had been in.

“You were treated like a slave in a harem, and yet you grew to love him, and him you. It’s very romantic put like that, but I can imagine how frightened you were. I admire Acorus a lot but he is so big and an alien, he frightens me”.

“Things have changed on Scerior since most of their females have died. I’m proud to say that I, and other abducted girls have changed things completely, but I do understand your concerns. However Allorus is an honourable male, he’d never hurt you, and there are a lot of big men on Earth who marry small girls. I’m as small as you and have been with Acorus for ten years; we’ve had four daughters together who I adore and you can see how free I am”.

At that moment Heather groaned and the machines showed she was coming round “I’ll go and fetch Reed,” Jo said as Rebecca took hold of Heather’s hand and spoke to her gently.

Jo hurried to the canteen where she knew Reed was waiting; when she rushed in he leaped to his feet, his eyes searching her face.

“She’s in the ward and coming round”. Jo said and they hurried back there together.

Heather was drifting in and out of awareness but when Reed took her hand and bent over her she opened her eyes. They all held their breath until she asked “Where am I? What happened Reed?”

Sobbing Reed gathered her into his arms saying “You had a bang on the head and have been unconscious. Thank god you’re alright”.

Jo left them, Reed holding Heather’s hand and Rebecca fussing around making her comfortable, giving her sips of water.

Going to the flight deck she found Allorus pouring over a map of Africa. As she reached his side he straightened up and asked “Any news of Reed’s wife?”

“She survived and has actually woken up. He’s there with her now and so is Rebecca”.

  “It worked then?”

“It’s early days yet, but she survived it and appears to be OK. Only time will tell. The next woman is being prepared for tomorrow, let’s hope that goes as well”.

Allorus smiled “Rebecca will be pleased, she admires Reed for his devotion”.

“We’ll just have to see how it goes, don’t count our chickens before they hatch!”

“That’s a funny saying, but it does make a kind of sense”.
<
br />   Jo leaned over the map “What are you looking at?”

Frowning Allorus replied “We received a message from our army requesting fighter ships to go to this location. I’ve despatched fifty and was trying to work out where the message was sent from, what coordinates”.

“Where do you think it is?”

“It appears to be in Zambia, in the heart of Africa”.

“Do you know what the army has found?”

“From the report we received it could be a large Xenorrii stronghold, maybe even a starship”.

“A star ship! How is that possible? I thought our ships had scanned all the land on Earth, surely it would have been found?”

“From what I have learned Zambia is one of the biggest copper producers on Earth. If the starship is under copper rich rock it wouldn’t have been spotted from outside Earth’s atmosphere”.

“Sure we need to send another starship to support the one already there?”

“Which one do you suggest we send? The one protecting Europe, or Russia and China, or the one that is fighting the Xenorrii over Asia. Then Australia is still needing a lot of support. and the rest are patrolling the deep oceans and outside Earth’s atmosphere. We don’t know how many Xenorrii came here or how many are left in our galaxy. Belain’s ships have been searching all the dead planets, both in our galaxy and the neighbouring ones, he is certain there are still Xenorrii out there”.

“I understand how stretched our forces are, Allorus, but if there is an enemy starship in Africa we need to find and destroy it before it attacks our army on land. Where is the starship that Acorus took to Africa?”

“It is on the coast watching over the land and people. A hospital and township has been set up in the area opposite Gibraltar, so stationed there the ship can watch over the Mediterranean countries and North Africa”.

Jo sighed “It seems that you’re right, we haven’t got a ship to spare; we don’t know how many of their ships the Xenorrii have secreted in deep ocean so can’t leave America unprotected”. Jo bit her lip, she must trust both Acorus and Allorus to know what they were doing.

“My father is a great soldier, he knows how stretched we are and trusts us to watch the Earth while he rescues Africa”.

“You’re right, we have to keep the lands safe that are free of the Xenorrii, and concentrate on rebuilding. I’ll leave you to your work; I’m going to pop in on Reed and Heather, then return to Earth, I’ll see you tomorrow”.

When Jo left Allorus checked that the fighters he had despatched were homing in on Acorus’ starship, finished reading the reports from Asia where the Sceriae had the Xenorrii on the run, and sent replies to queries he had received. His second officer came to relieve him, Allorus brought him up to date and returned to his quarters, to get out of his armour and shower.

He’d dismissed his Escori batman when there was a knock on the door. Calling come in he continued pulling on his trousers, thinking it was a soldier with a message. As he picked up his tunic he turned towards the door to find Rebecca standing there. As he took a step towards her she ran to him and flung her arms around him.

“Thank you, Heather is recovering so well Reed says she is nearly back to normal. Your idea worked. It’s brilliant,” she gasped as his arms went around her. Hesitating she looked up into his eyes for a second, then raised her face to his asking to be kissed. Dropping his tunic Allorus obliged, covering her mouth with his, plundering her with his tongue. Hesitant at first, she responded, opening her lips to give him deeper access, sucking in the essence of him as he drank deep of hers.

As his ever ready shaft responded he groaned with his need, trying to reign in his rampant predator. Lifting her he moved his hands to her buttocks and she wrapped her legs around him, teasing him even more. Surrendering to his lust he backed up to his bed and sank onto it with Rebecca spread on top of him. As his fingers found the waist of her trousers he felt her hesitate and he took his mouth from hers watching her closely as doubt came into her eyes. He lay perfectly still just the thudding of his heart pulsing through his body into hers and waited for her decision.

Lifting her hand to his face she said “I think I love you Allorus, my body wants you but I’m afraid. I’m still a virgin and you are so big”.

Holding his hands loosely on her back he nodded “I want you Becca, and I’m pleased that you are untouched. We have all the time in the world to love each other, one step at a time. Let me make love to you. Now I know you feel as I do we don’t need to rush”.

Rebecca gazed at him, then nodded and lowered her mouth to his once again. He moved his hands up her back taking her tunic with them. As he reached her head she eased off him and allowed him to pull it off. The touch of his hands stroking her bare skin caused her to shiver with expectation, then he flipped them over so he was above her and let his eyes run over the perfection of her bare breasts and satin soft skin. As he gazed at them her nipples puckered into tight buds and he ran his mouth over her neck, nuzzling the sensitive area under her ear.

As her hands ran over his back he continued down licking and nipping until he reached her breasts. Taking his hands from her shoulders he trailed a finger over one breast until she arched into his caress. Then he took her nipple between thumb and finger and tweaked it gently, causing her to gasp and moan his name “Allorus”.

Sucking the tight bud into his mouth he laved it with his tongue causing her hips to press up into him. A groan escaped from his lips as his hungry cock responded to the pressure of her belly. Moving off her to maintain his control he caressed and sucked her nipple until she was gasping and clinging to his back, digging her nails in deeply. When he removed his mouth she sighed as the cold air hit her aching breast then squealed as he treated the second in the same way.

His hand slid down her velvet smooth stomach, paused for a finger to circle her belly button, then carried on until he felt the nest of curls, between her legs. Fascinated, all the females he had been with were plucked and smooth in that area, he ran his finger through the moist curls until he found her sex.

By this time she was trying to push off her trousers and he removed his hand to help her. As she freed her feet and kicked them off he was trailing down her body once again, this time with his mouth, and she was lost in the sensations surging through her. Kissing her belly and her mons, his finger found her opening and parting her soaking swollen flesh he let it slip inside. Her body pulsed around him and moaning she pushed herself up to give him easier access. Feeling as if he was going to burst at any second Allorus gritted his teeth and concentrated on giving his mate pleasure, for she surely would be his. A second finger followed the first and his thumb found her hidden nub, and Rebecca screamed as wave after wave of pleasure overcame her. Taking advantage of her pulsing orgasm he entered her with a third finger and pushed deeper until he felt her maidenhead give under the pressure. Clamping his mouth to hers he plunged deeper, met resistance then was through with her body falling over the precipice once again.

As her orgasm surged, he held her to him moving his fingers gently, opening her for future pleasure to come. Slowly she stopped trembling and he turned her on her side cuddling her to him. Removing his hand from her sex he raised it to his mouth and inhaled her aroma; his mate, his for years of pleasure, it was worth the agony he was suffering to ensure that she was his. Next time he would sate his need and hers. He’d done as Jo had advised him and trusted himself.

  Chapter 10

The raid on the Xenorrii base in Africa

Acorus felt alive and in his prime again. The rift with Jo had shown him that he was a soldier, through and through. Political manoeuvring was not for him, especially here on Earth. Life was so easy on Scerior that the arguing and posturing he’d seen here had sickened him. He knew that if humans weren’t to revert to country fighting country he would need to leave a strong Sceriae army here, with an even stro
nger leader, for a very long time. But who to leave as leader?

His brother Belain was too quick tempered and could be cruel, his sons were too young and inexperienced, and to raise one general over another could cause problems.

Shaking his head he pushed the future worries away and concentrated on the job at hand. His large army of humans and Sceriae had fought it’s way in a pincer movement through Africa, finding groups of humans, white and black, hiding in desolate places. They were all slowly starving as game was scarce and they dare not stray too far from their secure bases. Those that did had not come back. The Xenorrii appeared, seemingly from nowhere and took humans and wild animals indiscriminately. The people Acorus’ army had found were sent back to his base at the very top of Africa, to recover. A town and hospital was already built there, and they had the starship to protect them.

Reports were sent back and forward between the army and Allorus’ headquarters and Acorus was pleased at the way his son had risen to his responsibilities; his advisors were certainly impressed with him. Acorus smiled to himself when he thought how proud Ileya would have been of her son. Although he loved Jo deeply his respect for his first mate was still very strong.

A messenger suddenly appeared in front of him and he brought his mind back to the present.

“General, sir, the fighters that we requested have made contact with the starship and are about to land. they wish to know what is required of them” the messenger reported in Sceria.

“Good, tell them to be ready to scramble on my order day or night”. Acorus replied in his native tongue.
