Scerior Part II Page 12

It was evident that they were discussing medical matters and Allorus told them to carry on with their conversation. The main topic was the treatment of the traumatised women by the Escorii males. Heather was a success story but the girl treated the day after her hadn’t come round yet, and the one that day had died, after only two hours in the Escorri’s hands.

Mark was saying “We knew it was a grave risk, which is why only those we considered would never recover naturally were chosen for the trial. The girl who is in a coma’s life indications are very strong, everything is functioning normally so we have hope that she’ll wake up soon. Heather is a great success and the one who died was in a bad state physically as well as mentally; it was the only chance she had of ever recovering. Once all ten have been treated we’ll have a better idea of how successful the trial has been”.

“The question is, is it ethically right to use this treatment?” a human doctor, who had been introduced to Allorus as James, asked. “We would not usually use humans as guinea pigs!”

“We would not usually be treating patients who had survived horrific torture by aliens”. Mark pointed out.

Allorus noticed that the Sceriae doctors had nothing to say so asked them “What do you think about the ethics of this treatment?”

The oldest, called Tehga, said “We Sceriae do not subscribe to the thought that it should be life at any cost. To us the quality of life is the most important. Also, our medical ability would not be as advanced as it is if we had not been prepared to use our own race as `guinea pigs`”.

The conversation became a babble as all put their thoughts across and Allorus held up his hand. “These females would have endured years of repeated horror as their memories kept on overcoming them. Two alive and one, the most damaged, dead is not too bad a result. Let us wait until this trial is over and we have the Escorrii’’s report before we decide whether it is a good treatment or not. The Escorii will come to their own conclusions, and if it is not right, they will refuse to treat any more. There is one thing we can all be sure of and that is their ethics!”

They all agreed to leave the problem in the Escorii’s hands and Allorus left them to their evening off and went up to the flight deck. Immersed in the duties and problems that had built up while he slept, the evening passed quickly. The army that had defeated the Xenorrii in Africa was returning bit by bit to America, leaving only a well manned base on the coast. A starship would stay there until it was certain that no small pockets of the enemy were hiding in the vast empty areas of the African continent.

Acorus would be returning to America when he was satisfied that all was as it should be in the new township, so Allorus would continue to be responsible for overseeing the army everywhere else. It was a huge responsibility for someone of his age, but he had been well trained and he discussed anything he wasn’t confident about with his older Sceriae advisers. The generals in charge of the forces on each continent were very experienced, so managed to ease the burden on their overall commander. Sceriae males were all trained from birth to be soldiers, even though eventually some would choose another career, while still spending part of the year with the army. Every Sceriae was expected to put his planet before themselves. So the fact that Allorus wanted a human as his mate was a great problem. Even the fact that Lady Joanna was on his side would not sway his father about his duty to Scerior.

As he worked reading reports and signing off on questions and requests, part of his mind was mulling over the problem of Rebecca. Considering giving her up and responsibly mating with a half breed made his chest ache. If he had to stand down as heir to the throne of Scerior, could he do it? His planet and his people had been the most important thing drummed into him from birth. If he chose Rebecca over duty could he live with himself and would he come to resent her once the first flush of desire was over? If he used her to slate his lust and then left her and returned to Scerior and his duty could he live with himself then?

He was so immersed in his problems that he had been reading the reports without really taking them in. Brought back to reality he realised that he had been reading a report from the commander of the forces over Russia. The Russians had proved to be a fierce people when it came to fighting the Xenorrii, and a small force had taken on and wiped out an enemy base. They had captured a Xenorri prince, and found maps showing where their starships were hidden. Their commander was asking whether he should send the prince along with the maps to Allorus. Flinging down the report he strode out of his office and back onto the flight deck. Issuing orders, he sent the commander a message telling him to send the prince and the maps to him straight away. Then he sent a message to the starship over Africa asking to speak to his father, face to face.

Acorus had been away from the ship inspecting the new township so Allorus had to wait a while before he could be found. Striding up and down impatiently he felt as if he had been waiting for hours, but in fact it was only twenty minutes before Acorus’ face filled the communications screen. He looked tired and very stern.

“What is the problem?” he demanded in Sceria.

Allorus laid out the facts in the report he’d received and said that he thought that Acorus would want to take control of such an important discovery. Then he waited, watching his father’s face relax.

“You’re right, I’ll return immediately. All is secure here and with those maps we should be able to finish the Xenorrii on Earth, at last”.

Sceria was a harsh formal language with no word for love, so Acorus changed to English.

“Tell Joanna that I will be with her shortly and I send her my love”.

“Yes father, she’ll be delighted to see you. I know she has found this separation difficult, she’s been worried about you”. Allorus grinned, now he’d fallen for Rebecca he understood Acorus’ and Jo’s relationship better”.

“I’ll finish up here, I’m leaving General Basam in charge. He’s young but a born leader and he has a good team, human and Sceriae, around him”. The screen went blank and Allorus stood there lost in thought, before he returned to his duties, to make sure all was in place for his father’s return.

  Chapter 12

When Jo heard that Acorus was returning she hurried back to her quarters in his starship. She’d been helping sort out houses for some new arrivals; people had been turning up in the new towns every day and she’d been commuting between America and Britain regularly. She also received reports from around the world on how many new houses schools or hospitals were needed as more and more humans came out of hiding on each continent. An army of Sceriae, Escorrii and humans were working to make life as good as possible for the survivors of the Xenorrii terror. Each township had its council, who reported to the area commander, who in turn reported to that country’s government; if no government was in place they reported directly to the staff in Jo’s office, who either sorted the problem or referred them directly to Jo.

It was a daunting task as, of course bad people had survived as well as the good, so the army was policing each area. The more people who survived the more fights over food and land broke out. Jo was beginning to long for the peace of Scerior, longing to see her children and just spending time with Acorus.

  ***

Once in her quarters Jo threw off her dirty clothes and got into the shower. Tchu and Tjai had been helping her on Earth and they too had rushed to their quarters to wash and change, so for once she was by herself. Closing her eyes she stood under the hot scented water and soaped her body from top to bottom, then she picked up her shampoo and washed her hair, twice, to get the dust out of it. Luxuriating in feeling clean she didn’t hear the click of her bedroom door or footsteps heading towards the bathroom oblivious to anyone’s presence until large hands enclosed her breasts from behind and she was pulled back into a large solid body. Gasping she tried to clear the soap out of her eyes, but as a mouth found the sensitive spot under her ear she rel
axed, she’d know that mouth and body anywhere.

Acorus chuckled “Have you missed me? Or do you press into any body that holds you like this?”

Jo grinned “Oh, it’s you. Darn it, I thought it was my new lover”. And she rubbed her bottom against him.

His hands moved to her hips and he turned her around, lifting her so that her legs went naturally around his waist, his large erection nestling between her thighs automatically seeking her sex.

“So, my female, you’ve been unfaithful to me while I’ve been away. Fair enough as I am worn out from all the buxom African females I’ve been fucking. However now I’m back I suppose I’ll have to make do with you!” With a quick thrust he impaled her on his throbbing shaft.

Squealing Jo shifted to allow him greater access and he laughed “So you have missed me”. Then he groaned as her slick dampness surrounded him and her body sucked him in even deeper, throbbing to the beat of her quickening heart beat.

Leaning her back against the wall of the shower Acorus placed one hand behind her back and quickly picked up his rhythm as warm air came on to blow over and around them. Jo was hanging onto his shoulders and he lowered his mouth to hers and fucked it with his tongue while maintaining his powerful thrusts into her quivering body.

As her orgasm built Jo felt all control leave Acorus’ body and gave herself over to his rampant beast. Freeing her mouth he allowed her to suck in some gasping breaths before all thought left her and her orgasm rolled over and over his powerful shaft, sucking him dry. Both were left gasping for breath and he waved his hand over the shower sensor causing the water to start again. Lifting her off him he set her down on unsteady legs and gently soaped her, washing her most sensitive areas gently, teasing her with his hands until she felt desire stir in her once again.

Taking some soap in her hands she stroked it over his body. Feeling his muscles as hard as rock she moved behind him and traced the shape of his broad shoulders down his spine to his small waist and the perfect globes of his bottom. His legs were pure muscle long and perfect down to his large well shaped feet. When she moved round to his front her mouth was level with his, by now, once again stiffening shaft and she soaped it with both hands, then moving down to its base she lovingly massaged his throbbing sacks; as the water washed the soap from his sex she took him into her mouth. Acorus stiffened and placed his hands on her head, so she took him in deeper and suckled hard. His deep groan urged her on and she worked him with both hand and mouth, the other still caressing his engorged sacks.

“Enough” he gasped, pulling her upright and picking her up. Carrying her through to the bedroom he lay her down on the floor, kissed her lightly on her lips then moved down to capture one of her tight buds in his mouth. Now it was her turn to gasp, and when he took the other nipple between finger and thumb, nipping slightly, her body came up off the floor and arched into him. Kissing and running his tongue over her he carried on over her stomach, around her belly button and down over her mons, teasing her with his tongue. By now desperate to have him inside her once again she opened her legs and blatantly enticed him. Resisting the temptation he carried on sucking and teasing her hidden nub until she cried out in protest, then he placed one large hand under her bottom, lifted her slightly and impaled her once again.

She screamed as he filled her completely, then her body welcomed him in and together they lost all thought as their bodies fell and rolled over the precipice once more.

Content to lie together, their bodies occasionally giving another shiver, they stayed like that for a while until Acorus sighed and said “I came straight to you, neglecting my duty. We must dress and I must relieve Allorus, he has had a lot of responsibility for one so young. I’ll eat with you later and we can exchange news”.

Jo smiled “He’s done an amazing job. He’s very mature and conscientious and isn’t afraid to ask for advice. You should be very proud of him”.

Acorus rolled off her and stood up “I am, and I’ll tell him so. He does seem to have matured lately”.

Jo laughed to herself, but held her tongue. Time enough for him to learn about Rebecca when he’d settled back into life here.

Acorus quickly washed the scent of their love making from himself and stepped back into his armour. Jo was still lying supine on the floor and as he put his helmet on she remembered the first time she had seen the alien `monster` and how terrified she had been. He’d always been able to arouse her body even when she had no choice, either be raped or agree to him `mating` with her. For a while she had hated him and railed against her abduction but had come to terms with the fact that this was her life; she could embrace it or be miserable forever. So she had embraced it and succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. Acorus had grown to love her and admire the strength in her that would stand up for what was right and never admit defeat. Now she had another fight on her hands. To persuade Acorus that his son should also be allowed to take a human mate. He had stood up to the Sceriae queen the council and his official mate, Ileya, to make Jo his mate and future queen; he surely should understand how his son felt.

  ***

Leaving Jo, Acorus was feeling relaxed and renewed, content that things were going well in the fight against the Xenorrii. The trek through Africa has shown how difficult and diverse Earth’s countries were. Now that so many humans had perished by alien hands. perhaps they would come together for the greater good. However he had already seen dissension in the new townships; he couldn’t understand the enmity between different tribes or religions, to him a human was a human as a Sceriae was a Sceriae. The Earth would need very strong government and he was at a loss to who he could leave as Scerior’s representative here.

Arriving at the flight deck he discovered that all was busy but calm. Pausing for a moment he observed his son quietly issuing orders that were immediately obeyed, not from fear of his anger, but from loyalty, respect and the fact that the soldiers also liked him.

A Junior officer had turned and noticing Acorus standing there immediately jumped to attention and saluted him. This made the others on the flight deck look around and also jump to attention and salute him. Allorus had turned to see what the fuss was about and on seeing his father grinned, saluted him and walked towards him. To his surprise Acorus drew him into his arms and slapped him on the back.

“My son, it’s good to see you. Everything seems to be running smoothly, so let us talk in the office”.

Replying in the same guttural language, Sceria, Allorus gave orders to the men standing at attention and followed his father through into the small office; the space made to seem even smaller with the two of them in it. Turning back to his father Allorus said “It’s good to see you back safely and I understand with not too many casualties. Lady Joanna will be pleased that you’re back”.

Acorus grinned “I have already seen her, and yes we are both pleased to be back together”.

Allorus covered his laugh while thinking that no wonder his father was in such a good mood. It seemed that being with Jo was more important than anything to him. Maybe he would understand his desire for Rebecca.

As Acorus questioned his son on events around the world he was taking in the subtle changes in him. He seemed older, confident of all the decisions he had made while Acorus was away; but that wasn’t all, he had become a dominant male, not a boy any longer, but a fully mature Sceriae male. The responsibility he’d had thrust upon him hadn’t weakened him, it had made him stronger, resolute and self assured.

Speaking with his father Allorus felt the subtle change in their relationship and realised that Acorus was treating him as an equal; he liked it and it made him even more self assured when Acorus approved everything he had done to maintain control of this diverse planet. When they got to the matter of the Xenorrii prince and the maps, Acorus gave his son his head and let him outline how he would handle the situation.

“I am in two minds wh
at to do with the Xenorrii prisoner”. Allorus said. “I really want to execute him but wonder if he’d be better kept as a hostage, but we have never parleyed with the Xenorrii. Is it possible? Could they have any moral code or are they just pure evil? With the maps we’ll be able to find and destroy their starships on Earth, but we don’t know how many are left in other galaxies. How can we stop them from preying on weaker species? Do they really need to drink blood to keep them alive or is it just a perversion?”

“It’s difficult to know anything about them as they are secretive, more so since I destroyed Xenor. They hate us as we are stronger than them, so no, I don’t think they have a better nature to appeal to. I fear that as long as any are left alive we will have to maintain a force on Earth, to protect it. The humans could end up hating us too if they think we are dictating to them; how to make them into one race united against aliens eludes me, tribe hates tribe and religion hates religion. It is an impossible world to rule”. Acorus said compressing his lips.

Allorus cocked his head thoughtfully, “Then each country should have a government, as they did before the Xenorrii came here. The force we leave here should be strong enough to force each government to keep the peace. The peace keeping army could be made up of humans of any race and Sceriae and their allegiance should be the protection of Earth. I believe they had something called N.A.T.O. which tried to do just that, but it wasn’t forceful enough and not all countries were members. If each government signed up to it we could protect humans from themselves as well as other species”.

“You’ve given this some thought, my son!”

“Yes father, I like Earth and the majority of its people. It could be as great a planet as Scerior if we get it right
