Broken by Desire

“So eager, I can smell you, Cassandra. That sweet honey dripping from your cunt is intoxicating.” His rude words never fail to make me gasp and I chew on my lip. The head of his cock is teasing my pussy and I push against him, but he moves back, keeping me on the edge. The teasing slow strokes up and down my bare lips sends me spiraling. He moves away and I whimper, and shamelessly spread my legs further hoping to entice him. When his mouth seals my entrance, I cry out pushing back, chasing my release that is just out of my reach. “Come for me.” His tongue laps and flicks at my core, as he plunges two fingers inside me, and a sudden orgasm shatters me. My arms are shaking and I am struggling to hold myself up. A blinding white light explodes behind my eyelids as my pulse soars. His tongue rides out my orgasm as he savors the flavor of my arousal. “Do you want my cock inside your tight little cunt?”
“Please, Lucien? Please, yes, fuck me?” I beg him. I need him more than I need my next breath. The bed dips and he has left me again. Lucien pulls the blindfold off and I blink in the sudden brightness of the room. “Get up, baby.” His voice is strained. When I move the sting on my ass is still present. I slip my hand in his offered one and we walk over to a chair near the full length mirror. Lucien sits down and pulls me to him. “Now, will you disrespect me again, Cassandra?”
“No, Sir.” His smile is devilish. The dimples and his sparkling eyes are ever present making my pulse race. “Sit on me baby.” He turns me around as I straddle him, my back to his chest. I can see us in the mirror, watching him slide inside me is erotic.
“You’re so fucking tight; I love being inside you.” When he moves his hips, I moan. His grip on my hips is vice-like, he moves me up and down slowly. He’s so deep, stretching me open wide. I am so full. Nothing comes close to what he’s making me feel. “Touch yourself, baby. I want to watch.” My hand moves down between my legs where we’re joined and I strum the pulsing bundle of nerves, bringing myself closer to another intense release. My head falls back and my eyes close in pleasure.
“Open your eyes. Watch. I want you to see me inside you.” I bring my head back up and our eyes lock, his hooded gaze darkens, the green of his eyes are black with lust. “Come for me, my lumiére, give everything to me.” Laying claim to my body, heart, mind and soul, Lucien stills inside me as my core clenches around him. “That’s it baby, every fucking part of you, I own.” My orgasm tightens every muscle of my body as is shreds me. I am at breaking point as tears roll down my cheeks, from the pure intense pleasure. He drives in again, with a growl as his own release fills me with warmth. He watches every second of my release with a satisfied smile on his lips. When our breathing returns to normal, his voice is laced with concern. “Are you okay baby? I didn’t hurt you did I?” I smile at his reflection in the mirror completely sated.
“No, not even one bit. That was…” I can’t form a coherent sentence that will explain what I am feeling for him right now. The thought of what’s hanging over our heads brings me crashing down and more tears slip from my eyes.
“Cassie? Baby, what’s wrong?” He slips from me and I wince. I hate not having him inside my body. When he scoops me up, he carries me to the bed and lays me down gently. Our bodies so close, it’s like we’re one person. Our connection is so deep; I believe nothing will tear us apart, but deep down the fear still haunts me. Tears fall now, and he wipes my cheeks with the pads of his thumbs and pulls me into his embrace. The gentle thump of his heart lulls me and I take a deep breath.
“This situation, it’s so fucked up. I am hiding here because of some stupid fucking clause on a piece of paper.” When I glance up at him, I see the anguish on his face.
“I love you, we will find a way past this. That is my vow to you. There will never be a day where we are apart again.” His promise makes my heart flutter. I just hope that things will work out.
Chapter 27
Cassandra
“Jayce, please can you get this for me?” I turn and am met with big blue eyes staring up at me in amusement. “Stop being a douche! Help me!” It’s two weeks to Christmas, and I have spent most of my time at my apartment. The lawyer has given Lucien the paperwork and, they have postponed the reading of the last will and testament to early January. Since the holidays are here, we’ve been sneaking time with each other. It’s been a week since that incredible day we spent in the play room and I am aching for Lucien in so many ways. I crave him with such a deep intensity, it hurts, and it kills me not seeing him.
“Okay, okay. What time is Luke supposed to get here?” His playfulness disappearing.
“He said he would come after a late meeting with Robert and the team. I am not sure how he will feel seeing you here. You guys have to seriously stop fighting.”
“Well, it’s difficult since we’re both so hot headed.” I spin to face him when my footing slips and I fall back. Jayce’s arms reach out and he catches me bridal style. Just then my patio door opens and I glance into green eyes that turn me into a burning ball of need. I scramble out of Jayce’s embrace, mumbling a thank you. I make my way to Luke. His steely glare is trained behind me, directly at Jayce and I realize this could go either way. I need to calm him down. “Luke, baby. Look at me.” I cup his face and pull him to me. Leaning up on my tip toes, I planted a kiss on his lips. The tension releases from his body and he wraps his arms around my waist, and tugs me into him. “What are you doing here? You said you would be late.” I mumble into his shirt.
“I left the office early. The meeting was postponed, and I needed to see you.” We step inside and Jayce offers a hand to Luke. “Alexander. Can you for one moment keep your hands off her?” The tone of his voice is dangerous and I shiver.
“She fell, Luke. What did you want me to do, drop her?” I tug on Lucien’s hand. Cassie, you need to get them to relax. It’s like a battle of fucking testosterone in here.
“If you both would like to be left alone, I can leave, but this will not work if you’re both going to be stubborn. Luke, I love you. Jayce knows that. Just come and sit down. I will get you a drink.” He nods and flops into the sofa.
“So what happened? Is there any news about the missing will?” I place a drink in front of Luke and hand one to Jayce. As the door swings open we all turn to Kenna.
“Hey guys, sorry if I interrupted your little ménage à trois.” She giggles and I cringe at her choice of words, fixing her with a glare. She and Jayce have been on and off seeing each other. “What? Oh, there was an envelope in the mailbox.” I shake my head and grab the mail from her. She’s always been one to say what’s on her mind. I rip open the silver envelope which looks like an invitation. My eyes skim over the card and bile rises into my throat.
If you don’t go away, everyone will know what a murderer you really are. You have until midnight of the Verán Industries Christmas Ball to leave.
I am shaking like a leaf. Kenna grabs the card from me and her eyes immediately dart from Luke to Jayce. They’re at my side in an instant.
“Kenna what the fuck does it say?” Lucien’s voice is demanding as he gently strokes my arm. She hands him the square silver card, once he’s read it, Luke stiffens beside me. “Fuck, this is ridiculous!” Pulling his phone from his pocket, I watch his fingers fly over the keys. He holds the phone to his ear, pacing back and forth. “Robert, I need you at Cassie’s apartment. ASAP.”
He hangs up and pulls me into an embrace so tight that squeezes the breath out of me. “This is my fucking fault. I am so sorry baby.” I try to shake my head, but he’s holding me too tight, and I can’t move. Jayce and Kenna fall silent and leave us, heading into the kitchen. The sound of glasses clinking filters into the living room and I hope they’re pouring me a large one. God knows I need it right now.
“Luke, I can’t do this. Maybe if I left for a while. I am not strong enough to do this.” My eyes cut up to him, a million emotions run over his face, but pain is the most evident of them all.
“Me losing you is not an option, Cassie. I am not giving up
. Let’s just wait till Robert gets here?” I nod and lay my head back on his chest. The only thing that is even remotely calming me right now is his heartbeat.
“Guys, I have an idea, Kenna is coming with me. We will be back in a while.” I nod. Jayce and Kenna make a hasty retreat. I am not sure what they’re up to, but knowing Kenna it can’t be good. She’s always had my back and this must have got to her. She knows that my past was difficult, and this could be a potential step back from my healing process.
“I wonder where they went.” Lucien releases his tight hold on me and I pick up the squat tumbler. I take a big gulp of the alcohol. It burns its way down.
“Jayce said he might get information from Sasha. I highly doubt it though since she’s working with Claudia. I need to get into the house, but the bitch hasn’t left.” My mind clouds and a thought pops into my mind. Luke will not like it, but I think it may work.
“What if I went to her?” When his eyes meet mine, the answer is no. The idea was bad, but there was no other way. I didn’t see another way out of this.
“No fucking way! There is no way I am letting you go near her!” His phone buzzes interrupting the conversation. “Verán,” he listens and motions for me to open the door. As soon as I do, Robert walks in He has two men with him. One I recognize, but the other one is a stranger to me. They looked like they could kill someone with a mere glance.
“Ms. Winters.” Robert gives me a small nod and I smile. Actually, it might have been more of a grimace. “Mr. Verán, we’re at your disposal, you know Daniel. This is Brax. How can we help?” His glance flitted to me.
“Cassandra will stay. She can answer any questions about the envelope. She’s the target. Besides myself, which isn’t important. I need her safe.” The man called Brax glances at me, and I feel uncomfortable under his scrutinizing gaze. “This was delivered today.” Lucien hands the envelope to Robert and they huddle around it. Robert glances at me and I can see the emotion in his face. For the first time since I met this man the concern is written in his features.
“Ms. Winters, can I speak with you?” Robert ushers me aside and Lucien gives me a small nod. He trusts Robert with his life, so I trust him too. “Is this about the incident when you were younger? After your parents… accident?” His consideration for my feelings as he speaks makes me warm to him. He always seems so serious, his gentle side is refreshing. I smile and nod.
“Yes, I am not sure how they found out about it, but this is the second time I have received a note, other than the calls I have been getting.” His eyes grow in surprise.
“Where did they contact you?”
“At the office.”
“Not your personal cellphone?” I shake my head.
“This is kids play, I promise you that my team will figure this out, Ms. Winters.” With a slight nod, Robert and two other men leave, with the note. Suddenly the apartment looks sparse without their large looming frames.
“Baby?” I turn and my gaze falls onto green eyes that are filled with concern. “Are you okay?”
Not being able to meet his intense stare, I walk into the kitchen to turn on the kettle. “Cup?” He nods and leans against the counter watching me.
“Baby, come stay with me?” I spin around and stare at him. He knows we’re not even meant to be talking to each other, now he wants me to live with him?
“No, Lucien, you could lose your father’s company. I will not be the cause of it.”
“Nobody will find you there, we can get Robert to help with a decoy if you’re worried about that. I don’t want you here, sweetness. And that’s final.” With his serious expression, it will be impossible to argue with him. Why is it that a man ordering me around makes me want to jump him?
“Can I stay here till Saturday?” It’s three days and he might not agree, but I am letting him control this and he should allow me a few days. “Kenna will be here and Saturday we can have the decoy set up and it would make more sense.” A slow smirk curls his lips and I frown. “What?”
“You’re adorable when you ramble. That’s fine, I will get everything in place and then you’re coming home with me. Even if I have to throw you over my shoulder.” There is a playful jilt to his voice and I giggle.
“Don’t be such a Neanderthal!” I admonish, handing him the mug of coffee. A mischievous glint in his eyes warns me that he has taken that as a challenge.
“You have no idea Ms. Winters. I intend spending my life showing you though.” When I glance at him, I see a serious expression on his handsome face. We’ve never spoken about marriage or our future. My heart leaps into my throat and I try to swallow it the emotion that have taken hold.
“Lucien, let’s try to get through the next two months, then we can discuss what the future holds.” I sip my coffee hoping it would steady my trembling hands.
“There’s nothing to discuss Cassandra, I want you in my life.” He shrugs and turns to the living room, leaving me in the kitchen reeling, and smiling at his words.
“Lucien you can’t just say something like that and walk away. What do you plan to do, drag me to your cave and tie me up so I can’t leave?” His eyes darken at my words and I flush at the hungry look he’s giving me.
“Well, I would love to tie you up, but trust me, you wouldn’t want to leave once I am done with you, sweetness. I would have you writhing on my bed, your body trembling like a leaf in a storm. Make no mistake, that you will beg to stay. You’ve not complained so far.” Giving me a panty dropping smile with his dimples teasing their way onto his cheeks, he flops onto the sofa. Needless to say that I am left standing in shock at his words, with an ache pulsing between my thighs. I am about to retort when the door flies open and Jayce and Kenna come tumbling in. They’re both giggling and when we turn our attention to them I notice Kenna’s face is flushed. Somehow I doubt it’s the cold weather outside.
“Luke, we need to go. There wasn’t anything at Sasha’s place, but I have another idea. I need your help.” Lucien nods. Kenna drags Jayce off into the kitchen.
“Baby, I will call you later.” Lucien pulls me into an embrace. When his lips touch mine, the world feels like it will be okay. Our kiss deepens as his tongue dances with mine, and I press my body against his. We won’t see each other for at least another three days and I feel like a part of me will walk out that door with him. When he pulls away, I am left breathless from his words and his lips. “Three days!” His stare is adamant. I don’t have a choice.
“Okay, I said three days and I will be there.” I glance into his green eyes.
When he leans in and whispers, “Good, then I am tying you up and you’re never leaving.” A naughty glint flickers in his eyes and heat pools in my panties.
“Come on dude!” We turn to Jayce and Kenna. They look like they’ve been up to something I would rather not know about. Her face is about the same color as a tomato.
Lucien
“So what was the big plan?” I turn to Jayce as soon as we’re in his black Jeep. He pulls out into the evening traffic before answering me.
“I thought about something, it’s perfect, it will work out perfectly.” His eyes cutting a quick glance to me, I stare at him incredulously.
“What? And you didn’t tell us?”
“Just listen. You need to let Cassie see Claudia. She’s counting on it. There’s an ultimatum on the cards, Claudia is going to have to tell Cass exactly what it is. She doesn’t know that we know. Right?” I nod. None of it is making much sense right now and I hope to God he has a point.
“So, let her play into our plan. By giving Cass that ultimatum is proof enough that Claudia knows she’s on a deadline. Maybe Cassie can get her to spill where the original documents are. If not, Robert will find the paperwork. Then on the evening of the ball, you call her out, in front of everyone. We just need the evidence.” His eyes are ablaze with excitement and I can tell he’s thought this through even though we don’t have a leg to stand on.
“What if it doesn’t wor
k?” I remember the message from Cassie’s mother. As soon as I am home I need to call her and set up a time to meet. She said she has a copy of the will. How? Nothing that my father said in past conversation comes to mind.
“It will, just trust me.” Jayce pulls up to my apartment, before I get out of the car, I cut a glance at Jayce. I trust him. He’s my best friend, I am just shit scared this is going to blow up in our faces.
“I do. You know that.” He nods, but there is still an underlying tension between us. One we need to sort out at some point. Tonight though. I can’t. Making my way inside, I grab my phone and find the number I saved under a random contact.
* Your daughter needs you. Can you meet me tomorrow? *
I don’t wait long for her reply.
* I know. Tomorrow midday. Santa Monica Pier. *
It’s a long way from the office which is why I reply that I will see her there. I need to sort this out. Something still doesn’t add up. Why would she have a copy of my father’s will? I make my way to my bedroom, pulling off my shirt and pants. Grabbing my sweats, I pull them on, contemplating a run, but I am drained. Exhausted. This shit needs to end. I need my girl here and I can’t even do that. I want her here, I need her kneeling in front of me with her lips around my cock. Fuck it! I need her now.
Maybe I should go to her? No. I can’t risk it. I need to relax. She’s with Kenna, at least I know she’s safe. As soon as I walk back to the living room, I make my way to the bar, grabbing a glass I pour a whiskey. I flop down on my sofa, and turn on the sound system. Flicking through my play lists, as soon as I hear the song I want, I sit back.
I picture her, as always, she haunts every part of my mind, heart and soul. How am I meant to live without her? I can’t think that way. We will get through this. Some way. If Cassandra’s mother has the information I need, and if the lawyer will accept it, this will be over soon. This plan of Jay’s better work. I hope he’s right, because if I have to lose my father’s company to be with her then so be it. But there is no way I am going down without a fight. That bitch, Claudia, will regret the day she walked into my life. I will make sure of it.
