The Mermaid Bride Page 14

by Lidiya Foxglove

“I know.” I swallowed down a lump of joy threatening to become tears. “But get on with it already. The nursemaid!”

He tugged my ass back against his pelvis and cupped my dangling breasts. “The door has a lock.” I could feel the healing stone teasing against my inner walls, building up my arousal, and slowly ground my ass against him, feeling it inside me like an itch being scratched.

He slicked his cock with the lubricant and spread my knees apart a little farther on the bed, so I was at the right level. In another moment I felt the head press against my nether hole. It was a strange sensation, but he had already been preparing me for this. I was used to his fingers there, just not something as thick as his cock. And at the same time, the healing stone was already filling me, but not nearly enough. I craved something more. I wanted to satisfy him in every way, and I trusted him that he would never hurt me. He pushed farther, and I forced myself to relax, as I knew I must not tense my muscles if I was going to take him.

Gods, I felt so full. I groaned as he impaled me.

“Beautiful, sunshine. Your ass is a work of art like the rest of you.”

He reached down and pumped the healing stone in and out of me, and once he had found a rhythm there, he started to work his cock in and out of my ass. First one and then the other. My weak legs were trembling, but I forced myself to keep them up. I could do nothing else. This was too much. I was completely at his mercy now. I felt used in the best sort of way.

The orgasm built up almost stealthily. In my warm haze of satisfaction it almost seemed impossible that the climb would ever end. The unrelenting friction, his other hand touching me gently, my shuddering little body…suddenly it was like thunder rumbling out from the clouds. I felt a mounting spark of unbearable lust that now built rapidly until I thought I would die!

I was splitting open for him, crying as the most overwhelming orgasm I had ever had pounded through my body. “Wrin—stop! Gods, no, don’t stop—” I didn’t even know what I wanted at first. His hand stopped working the healing stone, and he just fucked me hard. The last vestiges of my orgasm were still rippling through me as he came. It must not have been long, but it felt three times longer than any climax I’d ever had.

When I collapsed, he stripped off my stockings and carried me into the pool of water. The warm water felt wonderful on my skin. I spread my naked limbs and let the soft caress of the water soothe me.

  “My mermaid,” he said.

  “Not anymore…”

“You will always be my mermaid,” he said.

“I wonder how Melitara will feel as she grows up,” I said. “What if she wanted to live under the water?”

“I think it’s a little early to worry about that. We might as well wonder, what if she wants to join a traveling theater troupe?”

  “I suppose you’re right…”

“She’s a princess of Wyndyr. She will have responsibilities to her people, as I do. It’s just a part of being born into royalty. You never starve or suffer, but you have to follow certain protocol. You can marry anyone you like in Wyndyr, we’ve proved that. But you also have to be ready to inherit the throne.”

  “Girls too?”

“Oh yes, there is a long tradition of elven queens.” He reached for a bar of soap sitting on the edge of the pool. “Now, it’s true, we still generally maintain that the eldest son is the heir, but we’ve made concessions when the daughter is more…shall we say…up to the task? Sometimes the men can be pretty irresponsible…”

“I don’t believe that. Surely you have never done anything irresponsible,” I said, giving him an innocent face.

He grinned. “Well, I’m managing the husband-and-father part, but I’m glad I don’t have to be king. Ithrin and all his meetings and bookkeeping…”

“May he live long,” I said.

“He enjoys it,” Wrindel said. “It’s the parties he hates. This city needs two kings.”

After all the frenzied lovemaking of moments before, now he started to wash my hair, which was every bit as nice. Except for the maids rushing in to briefly fuss with me, I had not really been taking this sort of care of myself.

In the midst of this, I heard the approaching screams of an infant, and we exchanged a grim, tired smile. Wrin started to leave the pool, and I touched his arm.

“Keep doing what you’re doing,” I said. “Let’s have Hanaria drop her off right here. It’s never too early for a mermaid to learn to swim.”

And to make sure you don’t miss a release, sign up for my mailing list, and come chat with me on Facebook! Is there a fairy tale you’d like to see? Drop me a line on Facebook or at [email protected]! As I write this, the season is turning to the great controversial topic: pumpkin spice, love it or hate it? And next up are books for the holidays. Gretel will be encounter a wicked faery chocolatier for an extra-naughty All Hallow’s Eve story, and then our Little Red Riding Hood, Fersa, will meet her long lost human father’s family for one of those awkward Christmases. You know the topics you should avoid for Christmas dinner: politics, religion, and wolves in heat.

  About the Author

Lidiya Foxglove has always loved a good fairy tale, whether it’s sweet or steamy, and she likes to throw in a little of both. Sometimes she thinks she ought to do something other than reading and writing, but that would require doing more laundry. So…never mind.
