“How does this thing work?” I asked Dajjal.
“If you know the co-ordinates of a location you can put it in and view it,” he replied.
“What, anywhere in the world?” I asked genuinely interested, this device exhibited technology far beyond anything I knew of.
“Yes, anywhere in the universe, every place has a co¬ordinate in three-dimensional space,” Dajjal said.
“The universe?” I said open mouthed.
“Yes, the universe is simply a three-dimensional hologram,” Dajjal stated in a matter of fact way.
I was intrigued by our conversation and what I could learn; I was dealing with a reptilian being, androids and super-advanced technology. But what did they want with us?
“I don’t understand what this has to do with me or my girlfriend?” I said.
“It has everything to do with you. As for your girlfriend, she plays a part,” Dajjal made the last comment with a hint of regret. I found I could read the expressions of this reptile intuitively, in some ways they seemed so familiar. Even though his appearance was alien, the creature opposite me was flesh and blood and I was beginning to feel a growing connection to him.
He continued, “Every living being in this physical universe is energy projected from a deeper reality. Some of this energy is negative, some positive, but most of it is neutral.” Dajjal paused. He was very controlled, his words were slow and deliberate. I found myself transfixed. His speech was deep and guttural and I hung on every word. He continued, “You and I are self-conscious energy. We have the ability to gain more energy through our actions in the physical universe and we can manipulate and control those with less energy, as well as controlling all the neutral energy.”
“What are you talking about? Are you talking about my soul?” I was trying to comprehend what this strange being was telling me.
“If you want to call it that, you are indestructible negative energy. You were created just after the beginning of time within the chaos of a dark void, one of very few. You are currently manifested in physical form as a human being.” After making this statement, Dajjal stared at me intently with a hint of admiration.
I always knew in my heart that somehow there was something more to life than the physical reality around us, but my mind was reeling. Dajjal was saying I was negative energy or evil. I wanted to dismiss this as nonsense as lies, but he was telling me the truth as he understood it and something deep inside me resonated with his words. Things began to make a weird sort of sense, my feelings of power, the nightmares, the dog, the attack on the policeman, who was I? Exhaustion suddenly overwhelmed me and I fell onto the floor, unable to sit any longer.
“I will leave you now, rest. I will be back later,” the snake creature said. He rose and left the room.
I crawled along the stone floor to the discarded blankets and sought some comfort and peace. I wrapped them around me and curled my body into a ball. I tried to dismiss the conversation but it was something that had affected me more profoundly than anything before in my life. I knew I had learnt some painful truth and my heart was feeling heavy. Over the years I had been plagued with dark thoughts, horrible nightmares. Why was I negative energy, why? I closed my eyes for sleep called me.
The hours and days went past, Dajjal visited me regularly and allowed me to view Nadia whenever I asked, but he never gave me her co-ordinates. Every time I saw her she was asleep but seemed unharmed. Dajjal and I spoke at length about different matters. He was amazingly intelligent, he explained to me that he was centuries old by my understanding of time. He didn’t give me any specific details about himself or where he was from. He would normally evade these questions and return the focus on me. But he was filling my mind with ideas and knowledge which I had never encountered in my life, it was fascinating. Over time Nadia became vaguer in my mind and the urge to see her began to weaken. I would find myself asking less frequently about her. Dajjal told me about the universe and how it worked, what he said was often contrary to what I had learnt at school and university, but it made sense on some deep level within me. He kept telling me I knew all these things myself, but that I had forgotten because I was a human now. He said my energy was too powerful for the human body and the more I became conscious of who I really was, the more rest my body would need. I would sleep and dream in between our talks. My dreams became more vivid. They were always about a huge reptilian creature marauding across the universe laying death and destruction in its wake. Once these dreams had been nightmares to me, but now I embraced them and wanted to learn more. I was becoming addicted to the immense power this creature in my dreams seemed to possess and wield.
“I want to know more about my dreams,” I told Dajjal during another one of our talks.
“What dreams?” Dajjal asked.
“The ones in which I see a powerful reptilian being killing and pillaging, I used to hate the dreams, but now I want to know more.” Dajjal looked at me, but the look was different to how he had ever looked at me before this moment. He was now looking at me with what I sensed was a touch of fear.
“Would you like to view Nadia?” Dajjal asked. His question annoyed me, Nadia could wait.
“Later Dajjal, I want to know more about my dreams,” I said rather sternly.
“You will learn of the reality of your dreams soon. Negative energy permeates the physical universe. Each planet has a vortex which connects it to the deeper reality beyond the hologram. Here in the underground of Malta we are near a vortex of negative energy. This could be clouding your mind. I want you to cho…” Dajjal did not get to finish his sentence as the door to the room slid open. Nergal walked in. I had not seen the white-haired android for days so this was a surprise.
“Dajjal, we must talk,” Nergal said. Dajjal looked in an irritated manner at the android and after a few moments he stood up, towering over him. Dajjal said nothing as they left the room. I realised that had been the first time I had seen an android at the same time as Dajjal. They did not seem to be as united as I thought. I had sensed some tension between them. My focus shifted back to my current predicament, I was a prisoner, and Nadia – my god, Nadia! I missed her so much. How could I have dismissed her just earlier? I tried to focus my mind on escaping, but I could not maintain such thoughts for long. I felt tired, really tired. I staggered to my blankets.

“Dajjal you are telling him too much,” Nergal said outside the cell, as he looked up at the giant lizard.
“I will be the judge of that, android,” Dajjal replied.
“No I will be the judge, from now on you only speak to him when I am present. We did not want you or need you here, but it seems to be the will of the Gods. We have modified the crystal you want him to view so he will only be able to access what I want him to,” Nergal said before walking off.
Dajjal stood outside the room to Cyrus’s cell. His mind was extremely vexed – his plans could be foiled by these annoying androids.

Nadia roused from her sleep. She shrieked as the woman with the black eyes was standing over her bed watching her. “Quiet girl!” the woman shouted. She followed the order with a forceful slap across Nadia’s face. She reached down and pulled Nadia out of bed by the hair. Nadia tried to resist but this woman had unbelievable strength. Before she could muster a word or any defence she was forcefully stripped of her clothing and left standing naked. “Get in the shower girl,” ordered the woman with black eyes accompanied by a push. Nadia stumbled into the open walk-in shower, as she did the water came on. It was very hot. She was handed some soap and ordered to wash. She washed herself in a daze, crying as she did, unable to understand what was going on. She finished and felt better for being clean. The woman handed her a towel and ordered her to dry. Every time she tried to ask a question it was greeted with a slap. After drying herself she was given a black nightdress to wear and ordered to lie on a stretcher. Nadia faced the ceiling, and the woman with the black eyes clamped her hands and legs down to the
stretcher.
“Where am I, where are we going?” Nadia pleaded. The questions were greeted with silence. The woman took a special plaster from her pocket and calmly held Nadia’s head still and secured the plaster across her mouth. The woman moved her face close to Nadia’s and stared into her beautiful light-filled hazel eyes. “You will be a nice treat,” she said with a metallic laugh. Nadia’s screams were muffled by the plaster as the woman pushed the stretcher towards the door.

I was contemplating some possible questions to find out more about my current location, when the door opened and a menacing-looking Dajjal entered. He moved quickly towards me, his speed was amazing given his size.
“Stand up,” he said. I did, but before I could react he struck me across the face with a powerful backhand blow and I was sent sprawling to the floor. The force of the blow was incredible, I felt blood filling my mouth. Some of my teeth had been loosened. I was stunned and still recovering my senses when he leaned over me and grabbed my throat. He lifted me by the throat like a feather and held me high off the ground.
“I haven’t time for your silly questions about choice and transformation, human,” he hissed as he choked me. I had no idea what he was talking about. I had not asked any such questions. His eyes were menacing and his brows were contracted. He was very strong; I could feel my neck about to collapse and break under his vice-like grip. Just as my vision blurred the door flew open and Nergal stormed in. Dajjal dropped me to the ground.
“What are you doing?” Nergal shouted at the towering figure of Dajjal.
“Teaching him manners,” Dajjal growled showing his fangs. He stormed past the android knocking him off balance and left the room.
I was left stunned on the floor, why had Dajjal attacked me unprovoked and so brutally? By the time my vision cleared I was alone in the room.

Hours had passed and I was still nursing my sore and bruised throat when Dajjal accompanied by Nergal re-entered the room. Dajjal walked to the table and sat down. I was hesitant when he beckoned me to sit opposite him. His bizarre attack had jolted me.
“Do not be frightened Cyrus, he will not hurt you. We have important work to complete with you,” Nergal assured me. I got up cautiously and walked over to the table and sat down.
“You need to learn about your past Cyrus, and then you will understand your future purpose,” Dajjal said.
“I already know about my past Dajjal, I know my family and Nadia, my future is with them,” I said in anger. The corners of Dajjal’s lipless mouth curled up ever so slightly into a smile at my words. It was a seemingly mocking smile, but some ancient instinct was bugging me. We locked eyes for a few moments, a lifetime passed between us in those moments.
“We will see if you feel that way once you learn the truth of your past,” Dajjal replied in an emotionless tone, looking away from me and now at Nergal.
“This device will teach you all you need to know. It can access your energy grid and the Akashic records,” Dajjal said as he pulled out a glittering crystal from his robe. He got up leaving the device on the table and left without looking at me or saying a further word. Nergal walked over to the table and picked up the crystal. He looked at me with his black lifeless eyes.
“We are wasting more time than I would like. All you have to do to use this device is lie down and rest it on your forehead. It will do the rest,” he said.
“What is the Akashic record?” I asked.
“It is a record of everything that has ever happened in the universe,” Nergal replied.
“What? I don’t understand,” I said puzzled.
“You don’t need to, just use the crystal,” he advised. His tone was abrupt and I knew he would not answer another question.
“Ok I will use it, but how do I stop it?” I said.
“Just remove it from your forehead,” with that Nergal placed the crystal back on the table and left the room.
I picked up the crystal. It was light purple in colour, flawless and about the size of a peach. I walked to my makeshift bed in the corner of the room. Over the course of the visits I had gotten a mattress, pillow and more blankets. I lay down and made myself as comfortable as I could and placed the crystal on my forehead. Nothing happened. I lay still for ages with the crystal on my forehead but there was no action, I started to feel ridiculous. Were they playing games with me?
I closed my eyes, as I did my forehead began to throb. The throbbing became more and more intense and purple lights began to flash across the blackness of my mind. Soon a shapeless vapour of grey smoke formed. It became clearer; I could now see two yellow holes in the vapour that resembled eyes. I heard its soft words in my mind:
“I am one of the keepers of the Akashic records. Ask what you seek and you shall learn.”
I did not know what to say, what were the options? I decided to see if I could find out more about the Akashic records. I asked my question out loud:
“What are the Akashic records?” The voice speaking back at me sounded deeply soothing.
“The Akashic records contain all knowledge of human and non-human experience. They are the complete history of the cosmos. They are a great library, a universal supercomputer. The records are constantly updated. They are kept on this non-physical plane of existence at the outermost point of the universal hologram. They can only be accessed through astral projection by advanced beings or by using crystals for those less advanced. Now what do you seek?”
“What can I see in the records exactly?” I asked.
“You can see your own journey through the physical universe from the beginning of creation, as well as the history of any part of the universe. Now what do you seek?” the keeper replied.
“I would like to see the history of the universe from the very beginning and my journey within it,” I told the keeper.
The grey vapour disappeared and in its place a small pinpoint of light formed in my mind. It grew larger till it resembled a blank screen. I sensed myself flying towards the screen; I crashed through it in an explosion on the other side. There was energy rushing outwards with me in all directions. I knew innately this explosion signalled the beginning of the universe.
The energy continuously strove outwards, propelled forward by an unknown force into what I can only describe as nothingness. Then as ages went past, clusters of energy began coalescing together in the nothingness. The energy clusters took form as galaxies over vast spans of time and became millions and later billions of bright stars. Light vortexes appeared connecting the stars to newly emerging planets. On the planets life forms began to appear, first in the seas and then migrating onto the lands. The life forms lived in harmony as most were created from neutral energy, but over time they transformed into positive energy attracted by the light vortexes. The energy clusters continued spreading into the nothingness. More galaxies, stars, light vortexes and planets formed. Then the nothingness fought back; black swirling holes appeared amidst the galaxies and stars. The scale was incredible. In the blink of an eye black, swirling holes appeared everywhere in the universe.
The scene shifted, I sensed myself deep inside one of the black swirling holes. The black hole was a chaotic void; there was nothing but malice and anger inside waiting to be unleashed on the order of the universe beyond. I was released from one of the black holes to float across space with thousands of other dark blots of malign energy. As we all floated across space, some negative energy was captured by the gravity of a passing star, while other energy moved on. Eons passed, my awareness was only of malice and unquenchable rage. I was eventually attracted by a bright star in a newly forming solar system. I circled the star and witnessed the formation of numerous planets. I sensed other energy circling around the same planets, but this energy was the complete antithesis of my own dark energy.
A particular blue and green planet formed that caught my awareness. There were several vortexes of dark energy and light energy piercing it so I investigated. I sought one
of the dark energy streams and was pulled underground into the heart of the planet. Powerful negative energy beings greeted me and gave me a body to use and enjoy on the evolving physical world. I roamed across fields and streams as a huge beast, with no memory of what I was before. I had a flash of insight – I was a dinosaur and this was the earth millions of years ago. I killed and ate the flesh of other creatures. I roamed the lands causing havoc, filling my bloodlust by chasing and hunting other beasts. Sometimes I would fall from mountains during a chase, or find no food, so my physical body would perish. But my energy would be released and seek its way back to the dark vortex where the Dark Gods would give me another body to enjoy. Back in a new body I would have no memory just the wish to destroy and kill. The physical lands changed over the eons as more creatures and varied beasts appeared. I was implanted over and over again into a physical body and sent out to kill, destroy and wreak havoc amongst the other creatures. I would orgy in the pain and suffering I caused in the early dawn of the earth. The cycle continued for millions of years.
As the planet developed more complex life forms were created by the unknown force responsible for projecting and propelling neutral energy into the nothingness. No longer was brute force possible to secure dominion over the physical world. I was given more intelligent and more sophisticated bodies created by the Dark Gods to cause terror and destruction. The planet became a battleground of control for the opposing forces of positive energy and those of the negative energy. Millennia passed and the Dark Gods created ever more powerful bodies to use to dominate the physical world. Their aim was to feed off the energy of the neutral creations and to transform them over to negative energy. A battle for supremacy was being waged between powerful positive and negative energy beings. Each side was creating inventions to battle each other. Similar battles were raging across the whole galaxy and universe.
I witnessed the countless lives I lived in service to the Dark Gods of the Black Circle. The images were like scenes from a film, the movie of my existence. I could watch episodes in detail or move forward by-passing thousands of years and hundreds of lifetimes, but every life was similar: I would be sent forth to dominate and kill. I was beginning to understand who I was now. I was a negative energy being created to invade the physical creation and transform its energies towards darkness, which gave more energy and power to the Dark Gods of the Black Circle. The aim of the Gods was to control the physical universe and return everything to chaos, darkness and then nothingness.
