“I know, but I don’t want you unprotected. It will make me feel better,” Gabriel insisted. “Jimmy and I are going to check the perimeter and open up the cabin. I want you to stay put. Lie down on the seat and relax. It’s unlikely anyone followed us—we were watching for that—and it’s even more unlikely that anyone knows this cabin is here. It hasn’t been used in a decade.”
Sabrina nodded, then slumped down in the seat so she wasn’t visible but could still see out the windows. Jimmy smiled approvingly, and the two men loped away from the car and disappeared into the night. She stared at the dark building, hoping there were beds and sheets, maybe even a blanket or two. I would kill for a blanket, she thought grimly, then smiled sardonically as she realized she was holding a gun. She settled down to wait.
It didn’t take long for Gabriel to reappear and open up the cabin. Jimmy walked back a moment later and went inside with Gabriel while Sabrina tried not to fall asleep now that the car wasn’t moving. She cradled the gun in her lap and prayed she wouldn’t slip and accidentally shoot off her own foot. Soon, though, the lights flicked on. Not a minute later, Gabriel walked out and switched on a small outside light, illuminating the cabin slightly for the first time. She still couldn’t see much, just enough to take in the roofed porch that ran the length of the front and the swing near the door. She could tell the cabin had a peaked roof, but not whether the inside had two stories or just a high ceiling. Then Jimmy came out and waved to her as Gabriel walked around the back of the Jeep. Sabrina scrambled upright, unlocking the door and opening it, letting in the cool evening air along with the sounds of bugs and the occasional frog.
“Okay, let’s go in,” Gabriel said, popping open the back and grabbing two bags. Sabrina didn’t know what to do with the gun and ended up shoving it into her back jeans pocket. It barely fit. She hoped the safety wouldn’t slip as she bent over to retrieve her purse. Jimmy grabbed another two bags when he reached the vehicle, and Sabrina picked up her camera bag and sack of books from the seat and followed them inside.
“We can sleep together in the bedroom up in the loft,” Jimmy said, following Sabrina to the cabin. She’d stopped in the doorway, taking in the high-beamed ceiling and the fireplace against the far wall. It looked like the natural stone chimney extended up into the loft, probably providing heat as well as just looking damn cool. The steps leading upstairs were on the left, and a small kitchen lay along the far right wall. The only light on inside was a lamp on an end table next to a comfy-looking sofa that faced the fireplace. Sabrina wondered where the bathroom was.
“I’ll just put our stuff upstairs,” Jimmy murmured and brushed past her while she stood, staring at the rough wood walls and bare floors before slowly walking inside. A thick fur rug lay in front of the cold fireplace. It looked comfortable, though a bit worn on the edges. Sabrina was wondering what kind of animal it came from when Gabriel snuck up behind her.
“It’s not real,” he said, pointing to the rug. “But it looks soft, doesn’t it?” Sabrina turned her head to look at him, and he smiled at her. She felt the attraction that had been buried beneath the violence of the night suddenly surface. Her eyes flicked to his lips as he moistened them, then glanced back up to find his eyes crinkled in humor and sudden comprehension. She blushed and hoped Gabriel couldn’t see it in the dim light. Unexpectedly, he reached out his hand and traced his thumb over her mouth. Her breath caught.
“Oh, sweetheart, I know,” Gabriel murmured quietly, kissing her swiftly. Sabrina had to smile at him as he pulled back. The naked affection in his voice reassured her. He wanted her just as much as she wanted him.
“Hey, let’s go upstairs, see if we can manage a few hours of sleep, okay?” he asked. Sabrina nodded, a wave of exhaustion sweeping over her. Jimmy waved to them over the thick railing that ran alongside the upper story.
“Come on up, you two. I’m tired and want to go to sleep,” he called down, then disappeared. She heard the sound of water running and cocked her head at Gabriel in question.
“Yes, the bathroom’s upstairs.”
Sabrina sighed in relief, suddenly feeling so sleepy she could barely stumble up the stairs. Gabriel followed, showing her the bathroom on the left. She was happy to see a modern sink and toilet as well as a deep, claw-footed tub with a handheld shower attached to the wall. After taking care of business and washing her hands, she stumbled into the loft bedroom, startled to see it was dominated by a king-sized bed. Thankfully, it was made up with soft-looking red cotton sheets and a colorful handmade quilt. She stripped off her clothes, tossing them to the floor, completely oblivious to the appreciative stares of the two men as she dropped into the center of the bed completely nude. She fell asleep immediately, dead to the world, stirring only as she felt herself cuddled front and back against two warm, strong bodies.

Sabrina woke with the covers strewn around her ankles, lying flat on her back. For a moment, she didn’t understand what was happening. She thought she was dreaming about making love. Then she heard Gabriel sigh in her right ear and press the length of his body against her side. A warm weight pinned her to the mattress and when Sabrina opened her eyes, she realized that Jimmy was half-flung over her body, his left leg between hers, rubbing against her already wet sex. His left hand held Gabriel’s cock, gently stroking the hard length. The sight of one of her lovers stroking the other sent a fresh bolt of heat through her entire body. She moaned quietly, and Jimmy’s eyes opened. He stared at her mouth for a moment, then leaned in. Sabrina licked her lips, but before she could take another breath, Jimmy’s tongue was inside. She made a soft sound in the back of her throat just as Gabriel groaned into her neck. She could feel Jimmy’s arm working atop her stomach, the soft hair of his forearm tickling a little. He was moving a little faster now that he was kissing her, distracted trying to do two things at once. Sabrina took advantage of his inattention to grind against his conveniently placed thigh. She didn’t know what time it was or care that the sunlight spilling across the room from the two small skylights highlighted the soft honey of the wood and the golden skin of the two men’s naked bodies. All she wanted was for this moment to last forever. She shivered when Gabriel nipped her neck.
“Sabrina, you smell so good,” Gabriel whispered then pulled back slightly, groaning again as Jimmy’s hand stilled for a second. She felt him thrust upward, encouraging Jimmy to keep moving. Jimmy nipped at her, then smiled as he deliberately moved his hand up and rolled his thumb over the tip of Gabriel’s cock, smearing the moisture he’d gathered into the silky skin. Gabriel gasped, then arched into the air. Thick streams of his come pulsed all over Jimmy’s hand and her hip. Sabrina watched, fascinated. His cock flushed a deep pink as he climaxed, and she knew then that she absolutely had to get a photo of him like this, stretched out and shaking. She whimpered at the sight, pushing down onto Jimmy’s thigh even harder. He chuckled, then pressed his erection into the hollow just inside her hip bone. She felt the slip of pre-come against her skin as he rubbed against her, thrusting shallowly into the surface of her body.
“Don’t worry, you’ll get your turn,” Jimmy rasped, making her shiver before he kissed her again, smoothly drawing his hand up Gabriel’s now-softening cock one last time before dropping his fingers down between her thighs. Excitement spread through her as he rolled and nudged her legs further apart while Gabriel nuzzled into her neck before pulling back to watch. Sabrina panted, nearly incoherent as Jimmy gently smoothed his hand over her sex. She felt Gabriel’s eyes, felt Jimmy’s heated fingers parting her, oh so gently, spreading her wetness everywhere.
“Let me know if you’re tender at all, okay, Sabrina?” Jimmy said, still petting and smoothing the curls between her thighs. “I know it hurt a little last night, and there’s plenty of other things we can do if you’re sore.”
Gabriel nodded agreement against her shoulder, then licked her sun-warmed skin. Despite his recent orgasm, Sabrina felt his cock stir against her thigh as he watched
Jimmy spread her legs.
“Okay,” Sabrina gasped, and the thick heat of Jimmy’s cock parted her slightly. He rocked against her, and Gabriel reached over to play with her breasts, rolling her nipples between his fingers as she bucked, forcing Jimmy further inside. Jimmy groaned quietly, his thighs rock hard. He struggled to go slowly, knowing that she would still be sore, but he could barely control himself. After stroking Gabriel to orgasm and then watching Sabrina grow more and more aroused, he knew that it wouldn’t take much to push him over the edge.
Sabrina didn’t feel any pain, probably because Jimmy was so careful, not moving until she was ready. She opened her eyes and tried to tell them how much she wanted this but couldn’t speak when Gabriel kissed her, swallowing her words. His tongue stroked her lips before dipping in briefly, and she moaned as Jimmy pushed fully inside her body, sheathing himself at the exact moment Gabriel’s tongue curled around her lower lip.
“I’m going to fuck you now, Sabrina,” Jimmy said roughly, cupping her hips in his hands as she shuddered. Nothing’s ever felt this good, she thought, kissing Gabriel passionately, winding one hand into his hair and kneading Jimmy’s thigh with the other as Jimmy began to move. His cock bumped her womb and she groaned at the sensation, wanting more even as she felt nearly overwhelmed. Gabriel pinched and played with her nipples and sucked on her tongue while Jimmy grunted and thrust smoothly, long strokes that only ramped her arousal higher. Then he paused, moving his hand down to nudge her clit with his thumb. Once, twice, three times he tapped her bud; then Sabrina orgasmed so hard she saw rainbows beneath her closed eyelids. She didn’t know how Gabriel managed not to crush her as she gripped his hair, rubbing his stubble against her cheek with her pleasure. Then Jimmy shoved hard one last time, making a guttural noise deep in his chest as he came. He throbbed deep inside, hot and sweet, his hands gripping her hard before he collapsed onto his elbows, panting into her neck. Sabrina felt like crying and laughing at the same time as they lay there, shivering and exhausted. Several interminable moments later, her breathing slowed. They were all tangled up in one another, and she couldn’t be happier.
“This just keeps getting better and better,” Jimmy said, lifting his head up and running his hand down her side, bumping Gabriel’s arm in the process. Undeterred, he ran his fingers down until he reached Gabriel’s open palm, and the two men clasped hands against her navel. Sabrina closed her eyes, feeling a great swell of love rocket through her.
“Yeah,” she whispered after a moment, her voice shaky. “Um, can we keep doing this, like forever?” That wasn’t too much of a hint about my feelings, was it? she wondered. But Gabriel just laughed and kissed her neck before leaning over to kiss Jimmy, too, affection on his face.
“I agree,” he said when he lay back down.
Jimmy shifted to the side, then reached down to pull up the covers. Now that she was awake, Sabrina finally had a chance to see the jewel-like colors of the quilt, admiring how they complemented the two men who lounged in bed with her. Their skin glowed in the sunlight, and she loved the way they sprawled, unconcerned with their nudity, fingering her skin absentmindedly. She sighed, almost dozing again, then was startled awake by Gabriel swearing.
“Shit!” he exclaimed, sitting up and reaching for his jeans. “Where did I put my phone?”
“What?” Sabrina grumbled over being tossed on her side as he jumped out of bed. “I thought you said the cell phones wouldn’t work here?” she asked, turning over and snuggling into Jimmy.
“They don’t, but Aaron gave me a number I need to call every morning at ten, and I stored it in my cell phone.” Gabriel zipped his jeans but didn’t bother to button them or put on a shirt. Sabrina admired the view briefly, then looked around, trying to help locate the phone as Jimmy laughed quietly.
“Is that it on the nightstand?” Sabrina pointed to the small table on Jimmy’s side of the bed. Gabriel turned around to look.
“Yeah, that’s it, thanks!” He walked around the bed to get to the other side. “How the hell did it get over there?” He flipped it open and pressed the power button. “Shit! It’s eleven o’clock. Damn it, Aaron is going to kill me.” Jimmy chuckled some more at Gabriel’s grumbling, then pushed the covers down.
“Hey!” Sabrina exclaimed, shivering in the cool air of the loft.
“I don’t know about you, Sabrina honey, but I’m starving.”
Her stomach rumbled, and she smiled sheepishly. “I could eat.” She watched Gabriel stalk to the stairs and disappear, presumably in a hunt for the single landline they’d been promised. Jimmy nodded, pulling on some soft sleep pants. They barely stayed up, drifting low over his lean hips. Sabrina suddenly appreciated the virtues of worn-out sleepwear, though she’d always teased him about his ratty clothes before. Today she wouldn’t quibble.
“I’ll go see what we’ve got for breakfast. Take your time,” Jimmy said after he’d retied the string at the waist twice in a futile attempt to keep the pants in place. Finally he gave up and huffed, hitching them up over his ass as he strode to the stairs and leaving Sabrina alone to stretch out in the bed. This is definitely the best morning I’ve ever had, she thought.

While Jimmy made pancakes, Sabrina used the bathroom and slipped on her nightshirt and panties as well as a short satin robe she remembered buying but hadn’t worn yet. Jimmy must have packed it, but she didn’t mind. She felt pretty in the light purple fabric. From the look Jimmy turned on her as she walked downstairs and over to the kitchen area, he thought she did, too.
“Where’s Gabriel?” Sabrina asked, settling into one of the chairs.
“Right here,” a low voice said from behind her, and she jumped as she felt a kiss on her nape.
“God! Gabriel, don’t do that!” She laughed, and he smiled and sat in the chair next to her. The table was already set with plates and silverware. “You’re like Batman or something,” Sabrina complained. He laughed again, and she smiled. She took in his mussed hair and felt a pang at the way he looked at her, his eyes sweet and happy. How a man who was so dangerous could look so much like a lovesick boy was beyond her, but she wasn’t about to argue. She loved him. She knew their time in the cabin was temporary but couldn’t help wanting to stay there with Gabriel and Jimmy forever.
“Food’s ready.” Jimmy turned from the stove holding a plate stacked high with fresh pancakes. Sabrina’s stomach rumbled, and Jimmy chuckled at her as he sat down. She looked around, trying to acquaint herself with the space she remembered only dimly from the night before. She liked the cheery window set over the sink. The stove sat on the right and the refrigerator on the left of the sink. The table ran parallel to the window. Outside, there was nothing but trees and sun. It looks like a beautiful day, she thought, beginning to eat the pancakes Jimmy placed on her plate. It felt awfully surreal to sit here so calmly with them, admiring the sunny morning after the violence of last night. For a while only the sounds of their chewing intruded. When the phone rang, they all jumped, then laughed at one another as Gabriel got up to answer it. The old plastic device sat on a small table next to the sofa.
“Hello?” Sabrina heard him say. “Yeah, we’re all settled.” She listened to his side of the conversation as she ate. “Thanks for stocking some basics. We’ll have to run out for food in a day, but we’re good for now.” Gabriel paused. She couldn’t hear Agent Patrick’s voice, but she knew from the expression on Gabriel’s face that he wasn’t pleased. “No, just because I know Jimmy from before doesn’t mean I’ve compromised my ability to perform this job. No.” Sabrina frowned, concerned. What was Patrick saying? It wasn’t like Gabriel to get angry so fast. He was one of the calmest people she’d ever met.
“It isn’t any of your business, Aaron. And what the hell do you care? You never did before…” Gabriel’s voice trailed off. “Yeah, yeah, we’re fine, I did a perimeter check. No, I am not thinking with my dick. Are you insane?” Gabriel pulled the phone away from his head and made to slam it down
as Jimmy and Sabrina stared, surprised. Gabriel rubbed his face, then frowned. Sabrina heard the faint squawking coming from the phone before Gabriel sighed and put it back to his ear with a sharp motion, nearly pulling the device’s cradle off the table by the short cord.
“All right, fine. No, no, I know. We’re all under a lot of stress. Yeah, I know you didn’t think it was going to go this way, but hell, what mission ever does? You know how everything fucks up the plan two minutes in, right? Okay, okay, yeah, talk to you tomorrow.”
Gabriel placed the phone in its cradle and looked up. Jimmy and Sabrina had stopped eating, and she was sure Gabriel could tell how concerned they both were. Gabriel sighed again and ran hands through his dark hair, making the short strands stand up on top of his head. Sabrina smiled. Even angry he looked gorgeous with his hair mussed as he walked toward the table. He was shirtless, and her eyes traveled down his body, pausing on the dark hair of his abdomen, then dropping lower to his groin. He was damn fine-looking, even while frustrated. Especially while frustrated!
“You okay?” Jimmy asked, stacking three pancakes on a clean plate and handing them to Gabriel. The other man dropped into the chair next to Sabrina and poured some melted butter and syrup over his breakfast.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m okay. Just didn’t expect that.” Gabriel took a large bite. Sabrina watched a drop of syrup glisten on his lip until he licked it off. She sighed and turned to Jimmy. He looked flushed and was busy grabbing another two pancakes for himself. She bet he was watching the same thing she was! When he looked up, her eyes caught his and his blush deepened. Sabrina laughed.
“What?” Gabriel said, looking up. Sabrina shook her head, and Jimmy squirmed in his seat. Sabrina licked her lips and wrinkled her nose, trying not to laugh at Jimmy. Gabriel’s confusion was evident. Sabrina grinned, wondering how Jimmy would explain. “Okay, what’s going on?” Gabriel cocked his head at Jimmy.
