Over The Edge: A Dads Best Friend Romance Page 5

by Charlotte Grace

It didn’t keep me from getting lost in the feeling as I thrust myself down on him. I didn’t have it in me for restraint. The need to be sexy or anything else was lost in favor of the feeling he brought out in me. I kept bouncing, moaning as the orgasm ripped through me and left me gushing around him to the point I was locked above him. It didn’t stop him, though, he easily picked up the reins with me still hovering over him.

His thrusts were hard, and it was clear he was moving with the need to find his own completion. There wasn’t much I could do, but ride it out until he finally let out a long groan. His hips crashed into mine one final time before he relaxed, panting. I felt like I might be stuck where I was, shaking as I couldn’t seem to get everything back together.

His hands came up my back and pressed me to lay down. My muscles turned to jelly and I melted down onto him, then slid so that I was lying beside him. His softening cock slipped from me easily and I couldn’t help but notice just how wet everything felt. I knew without a doubt it came from me.

This … this was going to change how things went from now on. I knew it.

  Chapter 12

  Geoffrey

I felt as if I might be as light as a feather after last night. I didn’t have a care in the world after just how good the night ended. I had the flavor of her skin on my tongue and the memory of every noise she made playing on repeat in my mind. The pleasant surprise to have her squirt on my hand was something I was eager to have again when she repeated the performance while riding my cock. I couldn’t think of not needing to tap her for another late evening of work.

I made my way into my office to see Trevor waiting for me. I quickly tried to think if we had scheduled a meeting, but I came up empty-handed. He stood from the chair he had been seated in and glared at me. “Everything okay?” I tried to think if something had come up with his mother, but even that seemed like a dead end. He had chosen to stay with me in the divorce due to her philandering.

“I saw,” his expression was hard to read, “Missy Hamilton leaving your house last night.”

I blinked at him. He hadn’t called or bothered to make any other contact to me about coming over. He hadn’t even come in to say anything. I had no clue he had been there. The alarm didn’t go off; it didn’t notify me someone had come in the house. Even while I was thoroughly distracted with Missy, I was sure I would have noticed that.

I had to consider a response to him; this was my son. He wasn’t the type of man to leave something alone. So, I decided the best course of action was to play it cool. “You were at the house? Was there something you needed?”

“Why was Missy at the house?” he countered, not falling for my attempt to deflect.

I eyed him carefully. He looked irritated and I was betting this was probably something that had stuck with him throughout the night. He had been waiting to confront me; there was no getting out of this line of questioning. “She had something I had accidentally left at the office. She’s my assistant. So, she brought it out to the house for me.” I shrugged as if it weren’t a big deal.

I didn’t know how he would react if he knew what had happened. I thought it was probably best to keep the actuality of it all to myself. From the way his eyes narrowed it was obvious he wasn’t sure if he believed me. “It was nothing,” I assured him and put a hand on his shoulder. “I don’t know why you’re concerning yourself with the girl.”

It's like she knew she was being talked about because she tapped on the door of my office and then stepped in. “Oh,” she said as she looked between us. “I’m sorry, Mr. Hollister. I thought you would be free this early. I’ll come back later.”

She turned to go, but Trevor wasn’t going to have that. “Something’s going on between the two of you,” he stated loudly. “I don’t know why you’re trying to hide it,” he said to me. “Are you taking advantage of her?”

She turned to look at both of us, her eyes wide in surprise. “What?” she said as she came further into my office. “What are you talking about?”

“Is he twisting his power over you so he can take advantage of you?” he asked. “Is that why you were at his house last night?”

She seemed to mirror the reaction I had, blinking at him. It didn’t take her as long to come up with a retort to his question. “I had something he needed from the office.”

I was struck by how she managed to come up with the same excuse.

“You’re crazy if you think something is going on here.” She gestured between the two of us. “He’s friends with my Dad. Do you really think he would do something like that?”

Despite her question and the derogatory way she asked it, I couldn’t help but admire her. She perfectly derailed my son’s line of questioning to make it look as if it was a ridiculous idea that there could be something going on. She had more smarts than I had given her credit for.

Trevor’s expression darkened and he immediately straightened himself, smoothing down the frazzled edges that this conversation had turned up. “You have to forgive me,” he said to her. “I’m trying to keep the best interests of the company in mind.” He looked at me and pinned me with his mother’s dark eyes. “A mistake like this could definitely draw the wrong kind of attention. Not to mention, I’m sure your father wouldn’t appreciate anything of that nature happening with his old friend.”

I grimaced at his use of the word old. “We can talk about this and any other concern you may have later, Trevor. I wish you would have called me about this instead of confronting both of us like this,” I said sternly. Despite his age, he still needed to realize who was the boss. “I will see you in here during lunch.”

He didn’t back down. Instead, he nodded and walked out of my office with tense shoulders and a swiftness in his step. I was sure he was probably embarrassed by the confrontation. I was betting this wasn’t the last of it. Once he left I turned to her. “Make sure the door is locked, Ms. Hamilton.”

I watched as she did as I asked and took full advantage of admiring her form. The dress was another modest, office appropriate thing and I was beginning to toy with the idea of pressing up around her waist so I could see just what it took to get her squirting in my hand again. Or maybe on my cock.

It was probably in bad taste to have these thoughts, but having her right here and the memory fresh in my mind it was difficult to not be turned on by her. “That,” she said stiffly. “That wasn’t something I expected.”

“Me, either,” I assured her and went to sit down, adjusting the front of my slacks so my erection wouldn't be too obvious. “But don’t worry, it's something I will handle.”

“My dad can’t find out about last night,” she insisted. “I don’t know what he would do if he found out I slept with you.”

That surprised me. I thought if anything, she would use the situation as a means to milk me for more. That there would be a threat of sexual harassment or something that would potentially ruin me and everything I had built up. Instead, here she was, worrying about what her father would say. “He won’t find out,” I said lowly. “No one will find out. This will stay between you and me.”

She immediately looked relieved then foolish, “I forgot why I came in here.” She laughed a little. “I guess it wasn’t that important.”

“I’m hoping,” I stood and decided it was probably best to soothe her, “that you came in here wanting to know when we could have another night like that.” I touched her shoulders. “Tonight, I will need to set things straight with Trevor,” I whispered to her. “But tomorrow. You will come to my house and we’ll see what it takes for me to get you that wet again.”

Her face went red and her big blue eyes met mine. She swallowed hard and nodded, not offering any sort of argument as to why it might be a bad idea. “Tomorrow night,” she breathed. “I have things I need to do,” she said shakily. “I will see you for your ten o’clock meeting.”

Then she left me aching for the day to hurry so it would be tomorrow night.

Chapter 13

  Missy

He wanted me to go to his house tonight and I knew it would lead to us having sex again. I wanted it like any sane person would. But, it didn’t seem like a good idea. In fact, it sounded like a terrible idea. What if his son actually caught us in the act? Then everything would go down the drain.

I spent yesterday agonizing over this and hadn’t found a way, or a chance, to tell him. And it looked like, after going over his schedule, I wasn’t going to be able to find time to talk to him this morning. I spotted a break after lunch between a meeting and a conference call. It was only a thirty-minute break, but it would have to work.

All of it, what I was supposed to do tonight, left me distracted. I was still able to do my work, but I completely missed it when Dad walked in. I was so intent on sorting out this problem I didn’t see him until he cleared his throat. I looked up full of surprise. “Dad, what are you doing here?”

He looked mildly miffed. “I have an appointment with your boss. I just stopped by here,” he rapped on my desk, “to see how you were doing.”

“I’m sorry.” I stood and walked around the desk. “I was so busy I didn’t see you there. I guess I could have looked to see who this meeting was with.” I gestured him forward, ready to walk him to Mr. Hollister’s door.

“Hold on a second.” He stopped me from going forward. “I wanted to see if there was a chance I could take you to lunch after this.”

That caught me off guard. “Lunch?”

“I shouldn’t be more than an hour in there and I know it would be early, but yes.” He smiled at me. “I want to take my daughter to lunch.”

“If Mr. Hollister is okay with it?” I didn’t know what to say this. I wasn’t prepared and I couldn’t help but be nervous.

“I’ll take care of that.” He gave me a wink and I watched as he went into the office for his meeting.

It left me a little on edge and I found myself watching the clock as I went about the duties Mrs. Todd gave me. It was a little over an hour later that Dad picked me up for lunch and took me to a little restaurant close by instead of the cafe downstairs. We both ended up ordering sandwiches, something easy and light.

“I want to tell you,” he paused after taking a bite of his club sandwich, “I like this turn you took with yourself.” He wiped his mouth. “Every time I talk with Geoff he’s got nothing but good things to say about you. I was worried you would never grow up.”

“Thanks,” I said slowly. This was probably the most civil he’s been with me. I couldn’t tell where it was coming from. “Mr. Hollister says good things about me?”

“I was a little worried,” he continued. “Especially after that incident on Friday, but it looks like you really got your head on straight. I’m glad for that. I hope that you continue down this path because there’s nothing but good things that can come from it.”

It was confusing, but I was still touched by his words. “Thanks, Dad,” I gave him a weak smile. “I won’t let you down this time.” I picked at my BLT and it seemed that this conversation really reinforced the fact that tonight couldn't happen. “I really like my job. I promise you don’t have to worry about me messing up anymore.”

“I’m so happy to hear that.” He looked relieved. “I don’t know what I would have done if I had to actually kick you out.” Well, at least I knew now that he didn’t really intend to go through with his threat. I wasn’t about to buckle because of that.

  I couldn’t go backward now.

He took me back to the office and I knew this was the last chance I had to confront Mr. Hollister. I went to his door and knocked, waiting for him to give me the go ahead. When he saw me, I could see his expression immediately change from neutral to hungry. He wasn’t going to like what I was about to say. “I can’t come over tonight.”

  He looked startled. “Why not?”

“There’s too much at risk.” I shakily ran a hand through my hair; the look he was giving me made it so hard to concentrate. “Your son is going to find out and then what happens? I lose my job, my Dad just gave me the first vote of confidence in my life and I’m going to ruin all that if he finds out.” I took a deep breath. “I can’t risk this.”

“You need to find an alternative then,” he said, his voice stern. “Figure out something else. I will see you.” His tone was commanding, and I thought for a minute that this would warrant me a spanking.

I had to clench my thighs together to keep myself focused. “Maybe a hotel would be a better place to go than your house?” It was the first thing to come to mind. “Maybe something else but–”

There was a tap at the door and I heard it open, I didn’t bother to turn to see who it was I just reacted. “But, you don’t have any room on your schedule for a chance to speak with Tina Watts about a charity event she’s trying to get you to donate to. I was thinking maybe I could get you to agree to a last-minute conference call.”

I turned to see Trevor in the doorway, distrust on his face. I only knew him in passing in school and I couldn’t think of any real reason for him to dislike me. Aside from maybe this. I could see why he would glare at me like he was. He thought I was fucking his dad.

“Trevor?” Mr. Hollister said from behind me. “Did you need something?”

“I was hoping for a minute to talk with you,” he said all the while he glared at me.

“I’ll come back,” I said with a tight smile to both men. I looked down at my feet as I passed Trevor. I didn’t have the nerve to look him in the eye. I was sure if I did he would be able to see everything. When I turned back to give Mr. Hollister a nod, he gave me a wink. Something Trevor would have seen if he weren’t so intent on watching me leave.

I made it back to my desk and said a little prayer. I could not have the world crashing down on me today. I could not let this ruin me. I had to keep my head held high and I couldn’t let any bit of suspicion that anyone had kept me from doing my job. When Trevor walked out of his father’s office I would be sure to give him my brightest smile and look him in the eye while I did it.

  Chapter 14

  Geoffrey

I hated to face it. But she was right. I begrudgingly canceled our date to meet me that night. I knew there wasn’t a chance I would be able to go long without having her again. Even if she had cleaned up her act. Just seeing her at her desk the next morning made me want to call her in there, throw her on my desk and fuck her until neither of us could walk.

I picked up my phone to do that, but I hesitated. It was the wrong thing to do. Doing that would be stupid and it was a risk she had already said she didn’t want to take. It was a risk that could take her from me if I wasn’t smart about this.

I thought back to her visit the other day before Trevor interrupted us. I told her to think of an alternative and the first thing she mentioned was a hotel. That wasn’t a bad idea. I took some time to go through my usual network to get a room that wasn’t far from here. It wasn’t hard to do on short notice and the price wasn’t an issue. Now all I needed to do was convince her.

It was about lunchtime and I decided there was no reason I couldn’t take my assistant out to lunch. I stood and picked up my jacket. I had to swing by the hotel for the key anyhow so I might as well treat her there. I stepped out of my office with an intent that was driven purely by the hunger I felt for the woman.

I stopped by her desk and said with an authority that wouldn’t be denied, “It’s time for lunch.”

She looked up at me then to the empty desk across from her. “Mrs. Todd is still on her lunch,” she said as if that was an argument.

“Amy will understand. You can check the voicemail later.” I looked down at her and it was decided. She wasn’t going to get out of this. “Come on, we’re going to lunch.” When she stood with her purse I knew I had her.

I bypassed the café in the lobby and led the way out to my car. She walked behind me at a length and I could tell that she wasn’t sure just what was going on. We got into the c
ar and I didn't get a peep of protest until we got to the hotel. “My lunch break is limited.”

“Your boss won't object,” I informed her. “We are just going to lunch.” I pulled up to the valet. She was helped out of the car and I followed suit. I passed off my keys and got my ticket before I led her in. We immediately went to the restaurant and we were seated without a wait.

It was not long before we were served and I took the opportunity to openly appreciate her. “Now if your boss complains about you being late you can blame me,” I told her with a smile. It seemed natural to fall into this sort of repertoire.

“That seems like a reasonable thing,” she said leaning forward. “But my boss is going to punish me, not you.” She went back to her meal as if she hadn't just poked fun at me spanking her.

“If I recall correctly you didn't object to being punished.” I looked at her hard. “You enjoyed it.” I thought back to the last time I had her bent over my desk, also the first time I sank deep into her tight hole. “The last time you were so wet,” I hummed lightly. “I'm betting if I had let you come you probably would have left a mess in my office.”

She stopped eating and I watched the flush start at her cheeks then drift down her neck. It was so lovely to watch, I was quickly beginning to forget about our meal. “You keep mentioning that,” she pointed out. “You’re not bothered by the mess that I make?”

I growled, the idea of making her squirt again too hard to resist. “I want to do it now, I don’t give a damn about the mess. And do you know why?”

She shook her head slowly, eyes wide accompanying that pretty blush.

“Because I made you do it. And I want to make you do it again and again.”
