Wanting Ryan (The Grimm Brothers MC Book 3) Page 4

by Roxanne Greening

Thomas was a teacher who liked to ride his motorcycle whenever he could. Tonight, I was going to be riding on the back of his bike, and I couldn’t wait to feel that freedom.

Me: Just remember that I warned you.

This was one of those times I wished Alanna was here. She would stand up for me and possibly distract the two assholes waiting for my date.

  Thomas: Worrying over nothing, babe.

Sometimes I wondered if he even thought about what he was saying. My brother killed people. It was like eating, it was a natural part of life for him, and Thomas wasn’t reading between the lines. I’ve all but spelled it out for him.

  “Is he coming?” Reyes asked.

Turning I looked at both Ryan and my brother. Both were sitting on the couch drinking beer while waiting for the man of the hour to show up.

I wasn’t sure what the hell I was thinking. Thomas was sweet, but he wasn’t what I wanted. He never would be. Was I wasting his time? Yes. Yes, I was. I should feel like an asshole for it. But all I could think about was the thought that if I faked it good enough maybe I could have a future that wasn’t involving me being a crazy cat lady.

“He’s on his way,” I tell him quietly.

He just grunted like a fucking caveman.

“Please, for the love of all that is holy, don’t kill him,” I begged.

“I fucking told you I wouldn’t,” he snapped.

Yeah, but I really didn’t believe him.

Ryan stayed quiet while his knuckles were a stark white as he tightened his death grip on the glass neck of his beer. I could have sworn I heard a cracking sound.

Fuck him, he didn’t want me. He fucked me and walked out without a fucking word. He had no right to be angry.

You need to tell him about the baby. A tiny voice whispered.

I will. Not that it would change anything.

My thoughts turned to Thomas. What would he think about me carrying another man’s child? Would he stay?

Probably will run for his life. That voice cackled a little.

The image of Thomas’s eyes getting bigger and his mouth gapping as he ran brought a small giggle from deep within.

The sound of a motor rumbling got closer, and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I sent up a quick prayer for Thomas’s safety. The man didn’t need to die for me. Not when I knew I could never love him the way he should be loved. Fuck, what was wrong with me? I should let him go.

Instead, I walked to the front door and plastered the biggest fake smile that I could on my face. I was going to hell.

  Chapter 17

  Ryan

  Three Months Ago.

I watched as pencil dick sauntered through the front door like he owned the place. The only thing this prick was going to own was a dirt grave. One I would gladly dig and put him in.

Was I really going to let her walk out that door with fuck face?

“Thomas, this is my brother Reyes,” Bianca said sweetly pointing in Reyes’s direction.

“Nice to meet you,” he tells Reyes while holding out his hand.

I watch in amusement as Reyes’s dark gaze went to the pussy’s hand then back to his face. Yeah, he wasn’t going to shake his hand.

Bianca turned to me and sighed.

“This is Ryan,” she tells him.

I see a moment of recognition before he covered it quickly. Did Bianca talk to him about me?

His hand once again comes up.

“I’m Thomas,” he said with an easy-going smile.

“Thomas,” I sneered, “What kind of pussy name is that?

Reyes laughed hard, and Thomas’s mouth tightened a little. “Time to go,” Bianca snapped as she grabbed his arm and started dragging him from the house.

I was burning in hell for all the shit I’ve done. That’s the only explication I could fathom of why I was sitting back and watching her with another man.

  “Fucker,” Reyes growled.

I had to fight the urge to chase him down and pound his pretty face into the cement.

“He fucking touches her, I’ll kill him,” Reyes was pacing the living room.

“We have shit to do,” I remind him. Honestly, it was better than sitting here and waiting for dick face to bring her home. Would he kiss her soft juicy lips? Would he slide his dick into the sweet tight warmth of her pussy?

“Yeah, some fucker thought it was okay to attack one of our strippers,” he said coldly.

Poor girl went to do a lap dance in a VIP room and was beaten. Luckily one of the brothers caught the fucker before he could stick his dick in her.

  “Let’s go,” I tell him.

I thought he was going to argue, but instead, he smiled.

“Sent one of the prospects to follow them,” he laughed.

I felt a smile form at the thought. The little prick wasn’t getting into her panties tonight, and if I had my way, he wouldn’t get into them ever. Bianca was mine, even if I couldn’t claim her.

He was a sick fuck, and I couldn’t argue with that. I just sunk into another level of asshole that I didn’t know existed.

If I couldn’t have her, no one could. The thought was dark and completely stalkerish with a touch of a serial killer.

  Yeah, I was fucked.

  Chapter 18

  Ryan

  Three Months Ago.

I watched as the balding man was tied to a chair and cried and begged for mercy. Sweat beaded all over his forehead, tears streamed down his face, and his beady black eyes darted around the room looking for help.

I couldn’t help but laugh. This fucker wasn’t going to find one person here who would lift a finger to help him. Lucy was a sweet girl and well liked.

Reyes was in a mood, and this fucker was about to get the brunt of it. I watched as he grabbed the needle nose pliers from the workbench to his right.

“You were warned to not touch the woman,” he said menacingly.

“Please, I won’t do it again,” he cried.

“You’re right about that,” Reyes told him.

“Thank you so much. I swear you won’t ever see me again,” the man said, his relief easy to hear.

“Another thing you’re right about,” I tell him with a nasty smile.

“Oh god,” he cried as Reyes closed the three feet space between them. He moved slowly and deliberately to make the man’s fear deepen. Soon the scent of urine filled the room.

“Fucking hate it when they piss themselves,” I sighed.

Fucking nasty. Reyes laughed, and Gunner grunted.

“I think you have too many teeth,” Reyes informs the man who sobbed louder in response.

Reyes gripped the mans face in a tight hold making sure to pinch just enough that the man’s mouth would open. The cold metal of the pliers entered his mouth and clamped down on his front tooth.

The man whimpered and tried to pull his face from the hold Reyes had on it. I watched as Reyes yanked the first tooth out then the next and the next. He didn’t pause for dramatic effect. He just kept yanking until there was nothing left. Just the metal bowl on the floor filled with the man’s teeth.

The sobbing and whimpering filled the room as Reyes stepped back.

“How does it feel to lose some teeth? Lucy lost two, now you have none. Justice is sweet,” Reyes tells him with a smirk.

My hands itched for a turn. I wanted to carve little pieces of this nasty fuck.

  “Ryan,” Reyes said.

The smile that spread over my face was full of menace and joy. This was going to be fun. I couldn’t fuck up Thomas, but I could make this man feel some pain.

I looked over the tools that lined the metal shop bench. We used these types of benches in the auto shop. Rust coated the surface from the blood that coated it over the years and all the cleanings it’s taken.

The flathead screwdriver begged for use. My hand closed around the rubber surface of the handle. Lifting it up, I looked at it in the light making sure the man that was about to become
acquainted with it was well aware of it.

Moving slowly, I closed the few feet between us.

“I like Lucy,” I tell him coldly.

I thought of her as a little sister. She’s been a dancer for the last five years. When I first laid eyes on her, I wanted to spread her out over a table and fuck her raw. But she opened her mouth, and brotherly instincts that I never expected came rushing to the forefront.

Her dark red hair and sparkling green eyes held an impish look to them. The memory of her battered face replaced the image of a happy Lucy, and my hand shook as the anger turned to rage.

Twisting the screwdriver in my hand, I slammed it down on the knee that was shaking as a result of what Reyes did.

Blood soaked his tan slacks around the screwdriver. Gripping the handle tighter, I gave it a twist to the right and then the left. More blood soaked his pants as he screamed in pain.

“Oh god, please,” he cried out.

“Scream and beg all you want, we are just getting started,” I tell him with a cold smile.

Pulling the screwdriver free, I pressed it against his left knee. Slowly I added weight and watched as it disappeared through his pants and into his skin.

Blood coated his pants and spread out turning the once tan fabric red.

“Feel good?” I asked him nonchalantly.

His screams were hoarse, and big fat tears streaked his wet face.

  “Please,” he begged weakly.

There would be no mercy and no forgiveness.

“The only thing you will find in this room is death,” I tell him darkly.

Pulling the screwdriver free, I walked back to the bench and put it down. I looked at the long piece of metal that reminded me of a kabab stick, but thicker.

Lifting it, I enjoyed the light weight of it.

  “Nice,” I tell Reyes.

“Yeah, had a couple of Kabob sticks welded together,” he tells me.

“No shit, fucking brilliant,” I tell him before turning back to the man who was slowly resembling a terrible Halloween scarecrow.

I thought of all the places I wanted to put it. Through his hand, pierce his nipple, maybe stick it in his belly button, but there was one place I knew would hurt, and I wanted to go there first. The belly button was a possibility after.

There was a place between the shoulder bone and arm that was sensitive. Placing the tool back down I grab the knife and turn back to him.

Cutting open the top half of his shirt, I exposed his chest and shoulders. The sound of fabric tearing echoed around the silent room. The only other noise was this man’s whines.

Once he was exposed, I turned back to the tool that I wanted him to get more acquainted with. My empty hand pressed into the shoulder I was going to play with. Trying to keep him still.

He tried to jerk and buck as he fought to prevent me from my task. I laughed, honestly this man was funny. Didn’t he get it? He was done for, there was no saving himself, and no one was coming for him.

Dragging the pointed metal tip up his arm I slowly made my way to my new favorite destination. I knew this was going to hurt. He was going to be introduced to a whole new world of pain.

The metal was cold, and I watched as goosebumps formed on his arm. His eyes were wide and full of both fear and pain.

“Please,” he tried again, his voice trembling.

“There is no one to save you. You won’t be leaving this room breathing,” I tell him coldly.

“I have a family,” he whimpered.

“They will be clueless on where you went, you will just disappear,” I tell him with a smile.

I had finally reached my destination. The cool metal point was right in the place I needed it. I looked back at the broken man sitting in front of me. Well, he wasn’t broken yet.

“This is going to hurt,” I tell him with a smile.

This time I let the metal slowly enter his skin, and pictured it being Thomas. I pretend he was tied to this chair and not out with Bianca.

I watched as it slowly sunk in. The man screamed out in agony. Long continuous screams erupt from deep within him. His back bowed as far as it could go.

Applying more pressure, the spike went in deeper. I didn’t let up until I saw it on the other side. Blood dripped down in a steady thin stream.

Releasing the spike, I turned back to the table just as a phone started ringing.

“Bianca?” Reyes said, his voice deep and concerned.

I looked to the man who abruptly stopped screaming. Gunner had his hand in front of the man’s face. A dirty shop rag was being crammed deep into his mouth.

“I’m on my way,” Reyes said quietly.

Everything in me froze. Was something wrong? Did that fucker hurt her? Touch her?

“Finish him off and clean this shit up,” Reyes tells Gunner.

  “Got it,” Gunner replied.

“What the fuck is going on?” I asked him trying to fight back my concern.

“She needs to be picked up,” he tells me with a shrug.

What the fuck? She better be happy, or dick face was going to die.

  Chapter 19

  Bianca

  Three Months Ago.

I listened to him, I really tried too. Honestly, all I could think about was getting the fuck away. Our date hadn’t gone as planned, not that I really knew what I wanted enough to plan it out.

This was our first date, and I knew deep down it should be our last. I wasn’t being fair to this man because he wasn’t who I wanted.

“Your favorite color is blue?” he asked.

“No, well, yes. One of them, but not my top favorite,” I tell Thomas with a light laugh.

He was funny and charming, and everything girls wanted. But I wanted rough, calloused fingers, black leather rubbing on my skin, and longer hair clenched between my hands.

I wanted Ryan, and this man wasn’t him.

You could learn to like him, my mind whispered. Yes, I could maybe. But it would never be real. The truth was I threw my heart away years ago.

  “Green?” he asked.

  “Nope,” I laughed.

“Show some mercy,” he said holding his hands up in mock surrender.

“Purple,” I said with a smile.

“Really? I would have had it! That’s what I was going to say before I surrendered,” he gave a little boyish growl that was kind of cute.

“What’s your favorite color?” I asked him.

“Nope, not happening. You need to guess,” he tells me with a dimpled smile.

  “Green?” I started.

  “No,” he said.

  “Orange?” I tried again.

  “Nope,” he smiled.

“Brown?” I said with a smile.

“Who the hell likes the color of shit?” He asked with a deep laugh.

  He had me there.

“Let me guess, it’s pink,” I tell him with a full blown smile.

“God no,” he said in horror.

  “Yellow?” I tried again.

“Do I look like a daisy lover?” He asked with a smile while sweeping his hand over the general direction of his body.

“Maybe,” I tell him with a laugh.

“I’m going to tell you before you completely crush my man card,” he said in mock outrage.

“What is it?” I asked feeling oddly curious.

  “Blue,” he tells me smugly.

“I should have known,” I tell him with an over exaggerated sigh.

My phone dinged. Pulling it from my pocket, I looked at the lit-up screen.

  Alanna: Need saving?

Me: Yes. He’s been nice, but I need out of here.

Alanna: If you’re having fun, why leave?

Me: It’s just too much right now.

Alanna: I’m going to call you, pretend to be upset about my aunt dying.

  Me: Wait, did she?

  Alanna: Did she what?

  Me: Did she die?

Alanna: Yeah, like ten years ago. Rememb
er we hung out that day. Mom wouldn’t let me go to the funeral. She said I was too young.

  Me: Shit, I’m sorry Al.

Alanna: No worries ?? I still love you.

My phone started ringing, and I looked at him giving him an apologetic smile. I truly did feel a little bad for this.

“I need to take this I’m sorry,” I tell him quietly as I stood up and fought the need to run.

  “Al,”

“Bianca,” She said, and I could hear the smile in her voice.

“How are you?” I asked her.

“Good but I’m still feeling sick every time I breathe,” she said with a sigh.

I knew the feeling. I was terrified someone would order something that would have me running to the bathroom.

“How’s Reyes?” she asked, her voice was hesitant.

I knew she was terrified of what I was going to say.

“Being a giant asshole,” I tell her.

“So normal?” She asked with a laugh.

“Yeah, with a little something extra. Reyes wants you home,” I tell Alanna quietly.

“I can’t,” she said quite sadly.

“I know,” I tell her, my voice low.

“I need to go,” she tells me, her voice was hoarse as if she was fighting back tears.

  “Okay,” I whisper.

Then the line was silent, and I was left standing in the restaurant hallway that led to the bathroom fighting back the tears of my own.

Before placing my phone back into my pocket, I called my brother. I needed out of here, and I didn’t want Thomas to take me home.

Taking deep breathes I walked back to our table.

“What’s wrong?” Thomas asked, his voice concerned and caring.

“My friend needs me,” I tell him with a sad smile.

“I’ll get the check, and we can go,” he tells me quickly.

“No, I called my brother,” I tell him with an apologetic smile. I was an asshole, a terrible person. If he came back after this date, I’d give him a real chance.

  His smile was forced.

“Goodnight, Bianca,” he tells me, his voice low.

  “Goodnight, Thomas,” I replied.

Walking away was easier than it should have been. That was my last thought as I walked out the restaurant doors and into the night.
