Downfall And Rise Page 62

by Nathan Thompson

“Confirmed. Attempting to secure planetary orbit.”

  “Good,” I said.

And with that, I grabbed the mountain that had been sitting on my soul for over two years on Earth, and over fifty years here, and with one inner hand, I lifted.

  And pushed.

  End of Book one.

  Afterword:

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed my book and I really appreciate your reading up to this point. This is my first published work, so I would love for you to leave feedback on a review on Amazon, especially if you liked it. Reviews are the lifeblood of indie authors like me, and in my case I would like to know if my work is good enough to deserve a second book. Please let me know what you think!

You can also join my facebook page for more information on dates for my work and also meet other people who read my stories. It will be my primary method of communication, so that no one gets lots of email spam. I can also be contacted at the email address [email protected]

Thanks to all the people that helped me edit my book: Stephen Whaley, Jennifer Haviland, Corey Grimes, Patrick Harris, Ege Arikan, Ezben Gerardo, Doyle Williams, Robert Peterson, Jesse and Ruth Campos, Bill and Beth Thompson, Regina Benton, Max Madlaw, Kegan Hall and Jordan Steinberg. I greatly appreciate both your feedback and time spent reading my earliest drafts.

Special thanks to writers Andy Peloquin (author of the dark fantasy Hero of Darkness Trilogy among other books) and Michael-Scott Earle (author of litrpg Lion’s Quest as well as many other books) for being both generous with their valuable time and gracious with my floundering questions about getting a book ready for publishing. Both are phenomenal writers in their own right and if you enjoy their genres at all you will certainly enjoy their works. You can find the first book of the Andy Peloquin’s Hero of Darkness here, and the first of Michael-Scott Earle’s Lion’s Quest series here.

This is a work of fiction. Any representations to anyone living or dead are purely coincidental.
