#RalphBixby I can’t believe my Ralphie is off the market due to that bitch of an actress, Lina Lee. She doesn’t deserve him.

Gloria was a woman scorned, that’s for sure. Now, it was time for me to go to the blog, which I was really curious about. Was it just a fluff piece for a guy wanting to release himself or was there something more authentic within its words. I was curious.

I’m lying here and don’t have anyone to give me pleasure. Nothing works and I can’t get off, my vibrator isn’t doing it for me and my hands and mouth long to be wrapped around a large, hard cock, going at it like there’s no tomorrow and feeling those responses from my luscious conquests that I so get off on.

Some people may think it’s bad to be a whore and that I don’t value myself because I call myself one. I beg to differ (especially if they’re huge and hung) because I know what I want and what makes me happy. I’m not afraid to pursue it. And for the ladies who despise me because it’s there guy that I’m enjoying, I say take a page from my book. Learn to get your skills on and please that man with the big cock that you’re so lucky to have. Be the dirty girl in the bedroom and the trophy wife to everyone else. They’ll eat it up.

For today, I have to wait to be the trophy but I’ll delight in every second I get to be that dirty girl down on her knees, taking in the amazing girth of a well-off man. It makes me who I am and reminds me of what I will always want to be.

Gotta find me a new source to get me some yummy…

“Wow,” I said, rubbing my hands through my head. Her writing was passionate and I have to say, despite it all, I was hard. Yet, my logical mind was growing stronger in cases like this and I felt so bad for her. She really was addicted to blow jobs, but truth be told, if she started any relationship off with those it would be hard to grow it into anything more, especially when she said she’s happy to be the hidden pleasure of men who are ‘committed’ to others.

I had to call Matt. He answered and his voice was breathy. “Hey, man, you okay?”

  “Uh…yeah,” he said.

“You’re not alone, are you?” I asked.

  “No, not quite,” he said.

“Please tell me it’s not Gloria, man.” I was afraid to hear his answer.

  “Can’t,” he said.

“Man, she’s so unstable. Watch out. If you need to get snapped back into reality, just check out what she’s been writing on her blog and Twitter feed.”

  “Sure,” he said.

“Matt, I mean it, make this your last hurrah, got it. The woman is unstable and talkative, you don’t need that,” I cautioned.

“No, don’t need that. Catch you later,” he said. Then he hung up.

I spent the rest of my day debating about what I could suggest for my meeting with Tina tomorrow to set her mind at ease and start to distance me from all of this. Should I come clean and share everything that had been happening? I wasn’t so sure; it might be helpful but I wasn’t certain I could do that.

Twelve noon the next day came and I was sitting at a table at Adriatic Grill and Tina walked in. I observed her from the table as the hostess pointed to where I was and saw that she looked a bit nervous and edgy, not very well rested.

“Hey,” she said as she walked over, giving me a small wave with her hand.

I stood up. “Tina, how are you?” I hugged her then.

“Simon, I’m just a bit panicked about all of this. It’s pretty unfamiliar territory and everyone is so into erotica type things these days that they want to make you their poster boy. I can’t stand it. Getting voted Christian Grey like is one thing, but actually being like him is entirely different for an agent to handle.”

“Well, I’ve been doing some thinking about things and have a few ideas in place that might help put your mind at ease,” I offered.

She looked at me and her expression softened. “Thanks, Simon. I know I should be handling this better, but there really isn’t anything to compare it to, unless you go way back in time and study Gary Hart’s escapades.”

  “Who?” I asked.

“Exactly,” she said, “that’s how long ago it was.”

“I’m just teasing, Tina. I know who he is,” I said.

“Oh, I can’t even tell right now. Sorry.”

“Why don’t we order first and then we can talk about it,” I offered. “Would you like a glass of wine?”

“Oh, I shouldn’t. It’s only noon,” she said.

“The question wasn’t about if it was right or wrong, it was if you’d want one,” I said gently.

  “Oh, just one,” she said.

The waitress came over. “Pinot Grigio, and a chicken Cesaer salad,” Tina said.

“And I’ll have the same thing, actually,” I said. I really didn’t want the wine but I wanted Tina to relax. She was so tense and my usual methods of releasing tension with someone were off the table for now. Dr. Simon Sessions was going celibate…okay, that might be pushing it, but I was trying to be more cautious for a bit.

With our orders in, we began to talk. I shared the information with Tina about the assistant. “That’s a really smart idea,” she said to me.

“I’ll have to admit, my new secretary came up with it. She’s really great. You’ll have to come by and meet her, Tina. She’s restoring the sanity.”

  “Good,” Tina said.

Then I noticed a slight crease in her brow. My heart sank for a second. What now? “You’re holding something back. I can tell.”

“Well, there is one thing. I think it’ll be resolved soon enough, but I guess you need to know,” Tina said, fumbling on her words and trying to hide between the sanctuary of her glass of wine.

“What? Just say it. Honestly, nothing will stun me anymore,” I said.

“The television show…they want to take a month off or so until this all blows over and they can get a grasp of everything,” she said. Only after it was all out did she breathe.

“Really? Do I need to talk with them? Would that help?” I asked. That was a tough blow. I loved doing that show.

“There’s not much to say, trust me, I’ve tried,” she said.

“I should have known. I didn’t mean to imply otherwise, Tina.”

“That’s why I need to know if I know everything about this crazy situation that’s unraveling, Simon.”

“Well, I can’t tell you everything, but I can give you an overview,” I said. I had to come clean. She was the best and if she was going to do the best for me, she deserved it.

“Yes,” she said, leaning in like I was going to divulge a great secret.

“Well, an odd thing happened and I developed some feelings for someone, someone who I thought wanted to be with me, but I was wrong. She was engaged to someone else and that was really who she wanted. Things started to get…complicated, let’s just say.”

  “Who, Simon?”

  “Lina Lee,” I said.

Tina’s eyes grew wide and her cheeks flushed. “You’re kidding me!” People looked at us because her voice was a bit too loud.

“I wish I was, but it’s all under control now,” I said. “You see, Bixby got jealous and manipulative, sent plants to my office—Gloria Sanz, in particular—and sabotaged Matt Tonkins, all just to get me to step back. Well, I did and I can handle the rejection like a big boy. Now that I know Lina doesn’t want me and she wants Ralph, I’m out of the way. I even went to Vegas to a bachelor party.”

“He has that type of power? I know he knows a lot, but still…you don’t think I’m in some sort of jeopardy, do you?” Tina asked.

I wasn’t hurt that she thought about her possible fall-out, but I was a bit surprised by how blunt she was with stating it. “No, it’s all cleared up now. It is what it is, and I’m getting ready to move on, Tina.”

“I’ve got to say, I’ve seen his picture and heard about him. I don’t see how he could be preferable. I guess there’s someone for everyone,” she said.

Ouch…I think. I wasn’t really sure how to take
that statement. Maybe it was the wine, but Tina turned up her boldness a notch and started to let all her questions fly. When she wanted to understand something, she really wanted to understand.

“So, this Gloria Sanz, is she still in the picture, Simon?”

“No, I stopped seeing her after I realized what Bixby had done. He was a snake, but he’d incorporated someone in my home base to help. It was so disheartening to be deceived by Brandi. I’d trusted her completely, you know.”

“I know. She was so nice. Nobody would have seen that coming,” Tina commented.

“Yeah, I was blindsided. To make matters crazier, she suddenly disclosed that she had all these feelings for me. That was something that I had not suspected.”

“But you didn’t reciprocate them?” Tina asked.

“No, she was more like my sister, you know what I mean,” I said. I had been taking a sip of my water but I looked at Tina a bit more closely and saw a bit of a pang in her eyes. She’d always been easy to read with a crush. Hopefully this didn’t get her all wigged out now. Well, I’d learned that it was better to be straightforward as of late. The days had been too crazy for my liking.

“Well, Simon, I’d better get going,” Tina said abruptly. “Thanks for making me feel better. I’m going to call the station again, too, and see what I can do. I appreciate you opening up to me. You’re my star client, you know, and I want to take care of you because that helps take care of both of us.”

“I know and I couldn’t have made it this far without you, Tina,” I replied. I meant it, too.

Tina and I got up and her phone buzzed. Her face instantly paled. She glanced at me and said, “Gloria Sanz.”

“You have her number?” I asked. That was surprising!

“Oh, God no, Simon. I have her bookmarked so every time she posts something on one of her accounts I get an alert. My phone looks like an erotica novel.” She chuckled at her comment and then shook her head. This one says: #HotDrSessions Looking for a toy that can replace him—live or fake—but there’s really nothing else comparable.”

I blushed now, not liking to have Tina thinking about those things with me right in front of her. It made me feel so awkward. I smiled and tried to hide it and said, “And on that note, I must bid you adieu, Tina. I’ve got some appointments this afternoon.”

We gave each other kisses on the cheek and a warm hug, and then each went our separate ways out on the busy sidewalks of downtown Seattle.

  Chapter 10

I walked into my office, ready to have my new intern, Jasmine by my side as I started to talk with the first three women who Pamela and I had determined many truly need my help as a therapist. I was feeling great and it felt almost as exciting as when I’d first opened up my practice. It was a brand new start and I wasn’t going to squander it.

“Hello Simon, you look happy today,” Pamela said.

“I am. When will Jasmine be here?” he asked.

“Right now,” someone said from behind me. I turned around and there was Jasmine, my eager and very studious looking assistant. She had that funky eclectic kind of look, one that I always thought was interesting, but was never my type. That was part by design, but more than anything, she was the most qualified to help me out.

“Hey, it’s great to see you,” I said. “Why don’t you come back to the office and I’ll give you a quick rundown before the first appointment gets here, Jasmine.” Then I turned to Pamela. “How long?”

“About ten minutes, Simon,” she said.

  “Great, thanks.”

I had three appointments that morning and that was it for the day. It was perfect, a great way to assess how this internship thing was working and get some feedback from Jasmine, as well as provide her with some. I had nothing but great comments for her, which was excellent. I was finally back in the groove of things.

Jasmine was done for the day and on her way back to school for afternoon classes. Pamela was going to take her lunch break, and I was going to do some paperwork in my office and catch up on a few things. I’d committed to doing the Hawaii convention about a month ago and now it was sneaking up on me, making me feel slightly ill prepared. I had to get focused…it was only a few weeks away.

My cellphone rang and I didn’t recognize the number. I almost didn’t answer it but for some reason I did. If they left a message it would bug me to the point of distraction. I could just shoe whoever it was off and get on with my other tasks.

  “Hello.”

“Simon, hi, it’s Gloria,” a voice purred.

The first time I’d heard that voice it turned me on. That was no longer the case. “I told you not to call me. How did you get this number?”

“Oh, it’s pretty easy for me to get information when I really want it,” she said.

“Look Gloria, I’m busy. If you need another therapist to help you with your problem, I’m glad to recommend one,” I said curtly.

“Oh relax, gorgeous, what I want to share with you is something that you’re definitely interested in. I know you’ve been looking for information on Bixby and I have some that I guarantee you no one else does. Do you want it?”

Okay, that did get my attention. “Like what?”

“I’m not going to tell you over the phone. It’s something I need to give to you in person. Can you come over to my apartment?”

  “No,” I said.

“Can I come to your office, Simon?”

“Absolutely not,” I replied. “Let’s meet somewhere neutral, okay?”

“Oh sure, I have a few errands to do anyway. Can you meet me in a half hour at 1112 N Leary Way?”

“What part of town is that in?” I asked. It wasn’t a great address, for certain.

“The part I need to go to. I’m counting on you showing up, Simon, and I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed.”

Then Gloria hung up, leaving me hanging. What could she have to give me? I was so damn curious that I had to find out, but so help me…if it was a trick, I might get arrested for murder. And if Bixby was behind this, it might be double murder.

A half hour later, I pulled up in my white Porsche, which glared among the older cars and dirty buildings that was around me. I glanced at the buildings and saw the address I was looking for. It was a sex shop, go figure.

I looked on the sidewalk to see if Gloria was outside, but she wasn’t. Walking into the place, I kept my sunglasses on, feeling like incognito was my best option. I glanced around and in the back of the room, I saw a head of hair that I recognized. I made my way back there and found Gloria looking at different sexual devices and holding a porno in her hands called Full Throttle, Hot and Heavy. Cock porn, not surprising.

“Well, look at you,” Gloria said, smiling at me with lusty eyes and licking her lips. “Still yummy as ever.”

“This isn’t a call about that,” I said. “What was it that you wanted to share with me?”

“Well, look at you all serious, Simon. No foreplay for you, right to what you want, huh?”

“Kind of like how you approach things, you just go for it,” I replied.

She laughed, putting her finger into her mouth and sucking it gently, giving quite the innuendo. It would have made anyone else instantly hard, but not me, not today.

“Gloria, look, I’m in this sleazy shop and agreed to meet you because you indicated that you have something rather important to give me. I don’t want a blow job, so what is it?”

“You’re no fun when you’re stressed out, you know that,” Gloria said, shrugging her shoulders. “Look, I have this for you, Simon, and I think you’ll find it interesting.”

“You don’t want anything in exchange, right?” I asked cautiously.

“Clearly I can’t have you so no, I don’t. I’m just sick of getting shafted…no pun intended.”

“None taken,” I said. Okay, the comment did give me a slight chuckle, but I couldn’t show that and encourage her.

“Okay, here it is,” she said. In the true expe
ctations of what she seemed to represent, she pulled a folded up piece of yellow legal pad paper out of her cleavage and handed it over.

I took it and opened it up, staring at it, but not fully processing it. “These companies, what’s this about?”

“That’s Bixby’s handwriting. He was working on it when I was going down on him a few weeks ago and I was curious about it. Eventually, he dozed off and I took it before I left.”

“That sounds awfully dangerous with a guy like that, Gloria,” I said. I admired her spirit to even try it.
