BOMBSHELL Page 4

“I will …”

  “Eat, now.”

  “Joshua,” I gasped.

He picked up the fork with a piece of chicken on it, opened my mouth with his two fingers pressed against my cheeks and put the food in, then slid the fork out of my mouth so it scraped the top row of teeth ever so slowly. He stared at my mouth as the fork slid out and let my face go. I started to chew the chicken, against my better judgment, while staring back at him. His gaze did not falter as he looked at my mouth. He leaned down like he was going to kiss me, but said, “God, your lips, that mouth. Woman, what spell do you have over me?”

What spell did I have over him? I was actually chewing food he forced in my mouth. Not only was it heavy-handed, but he turned it into seduction. Shit, he could feed me again. I wasn’t even into that sort of kink. I finished chewing and he put some rice and chicken on the fork and fed it to me again, but this time he didn’t have to open my mouth, I opened it for him. He put the food in and slowly glided the fork out as his hooded eyes stared at my lips. This man wanted me and by the dampness of my panties, I wanted him right back.

He fed me a few more bites and then he stood up and said, “Let’s move to the next thing on our agenda.”

I stood up, put on my coat and followed him out of the restaurant.

We walked three blocks and we were outside of his building.

I asked, “What are we doing here?”

“You get to see my lair. Well, I want you to get a feel of the land, so you feel better about the contract.”

I nodded and followed him into the building. He pulled out his key card and swiped it over the panel. We entered and went straight to the 36th floor. I assumed his office was on this floor, but this was the marketing department. They had an entire wing dedicated to them. This was impressive, so I’m not sure why he felt this would make me feel better, I felt more inadequate. He showed me where my team and I would work, that was a wing within the wing. He had the latest computer programs, hardware and resources. I was impressed and intimidated. There was no way I would take this contract.

He then took me to the 39th floor, where his office was actually located. His office was surrounded by tempered glass, which I know could be fogged or tinted with a push of a button. There was a wall full of screens and I’m sure they would be of televisions stations from all over the country. He had a huge desk, mini bar, an entire living room set on one side of the office, a full bathroom and a play area that contained a mini-golf course. It seemed like it overlooked the entire District from the view behind him.

“What’s on the 40th floor, if your office is on the 39th floor? I inquired.

“My penthouse is on the top floor. Well, one of them,” he replied.

“Wow, a king, looking over his whole kingdom,” I mused.

He chuckled. “Something like that,” he grabbed my hand. “Let me show you.”

“Uh, that’s alright,” I tried to pull out of his grasp. “I’m just going to go home now.”

“Roadrunner, you running again? You scared the big, bad wolf is going to bite?”

  “Actually, yeah,” I said sincerely.

He laughed out loud. Like, really loud. I smiled at his laugh, it was so sexy. God, I needed to get out of here.

“I’ll only bite, if you ask nicely,” he said with a sly smile.

“I’m good. Feeling kind of tired,” I said, as he pulled me towards another door, which turned out to be a private elevator.

My body was jerked in the elevator, as I snapped into his tall frame. I held out my hands so I didn’t crash into him and they landed on his chest. He looked down at me with those hooded eyes again.

  Good Lord.

  “Joshua, I really…” I started.

All I saw was his face descend towards mine as he captured my lips in a smoldering kiss.

  Oh.

  Chapter 5: I call bullshit

  JOSHUA:

Finally, I had her right where I wanted her. Her lips on mine, my hands on her juicy ass and her arms wrapped around my neck.

  Goddamn.

I pressed her against the elevator, so she could feel what she did to me. How hard I was, how much I wanted her. She’d been haunting with me for a damn year. After she bumped into me the first time, I didn’t know where she was coming from, but I had security run the footage and saw she came from the OBGYN. She had been crying, so I assumed the news was bad. How bad, I didn’t know, but immediately I wanted to take away that sadness. I never felt like that with anyone. Shit, I made people cry constantly and never felt like that. This feisty woman wouldn’t have it. She literally ran from the coffee shop. Maybe I did come across too aggressively, but for a woman like her, that is usually the only language she knows, because if given the chance she would be the aggressor and I don’t play that shit. I’d turn her over my knee and spank her sexy ass if she got out of line and she would beg me for it, I know she would.

She moaned. Oh shit. I wanted to see if she was wet. I had to have a taste today. I’ve been fantasizing about her for a year now. I wasn’t celibate during that year, but my staff quickly saw that I had a type. Women who looked just like her. Olive-skinned complexion, curvy in all the right areas, averaging about 5’7 to 5’9, business women, with long black hair. She had to have a double D cup like Samantha tried to hide in those suits and her ass, I just wanted to smack and watch it bounce. They had to have a heart shape face, full lips, and brown eyes. Even though I was meticulous about their appearance, none of them could compare. They weren’t the same. About half-way through the year, my driver told me that he found out her name on the sign-in sheet at the OBGYN. He didn’t have to tell me which ‘her’ that was, because he’d been with me long enough to capture my mood, frustrations and attentions, which were directly tied to the woman he saw me chasing that day.

I did not approach her right away, because I wanted to get my game plan together. This included finding out as much as I could about Ms. Samantha Wilde. Where she worked, her previous employers, her love interest, her friends, associates, network and the specific businesses she worked with at the Kelly building. Also, the security office had a picture of her and knew to notify me whenever she entered the building. She only came twice within the six-month period, one was to see her OBGYN and the other time was to visit a client, I presume. Running into her on the street was by pure accident, so I seized the opportunity. I was planning to make my move in the New Year, but fate had another plan that I was just fine with.

The elevator door chimed and I shifted her out, with my mouth still on her. I knew the layout, so I moved her towards the kitchen island, lifted her on it and stood between her legs. This time, she looked down at me with hooded eyes and kissed me while holding my head, so she could take her fill. I groaned and rubbed her back under the turtleneck until I reached her brassiere strap. I quickly unsnapped it and lifted her shirt to expose her red laced bra covering those beautiful double D’s. Her brown nipples puckered for me, calling for me to bite them. I latched on to one and started to suck. Samantha moaned and arched her back, so I could get more of her buxom titties. I knew she’d be wet for me.

I squeezed her left nipple and continued to suck on the right one. She moaned my name. Oh man. I’m not sure how much more of this I could handle. I switched nipples and sucked on the left, while pinching the right. She moaned louder, which was fine, because this place was sound proof and it was Saturday, so no one was here.

“Sweet girl, do you know how much I want you right now? I just want to taste you.”

She went from arching her back, to moving away from me. It was like a switch turned on and she could see clearly.

“Uh, Joshua, I really need to go. Okay, I’m sorry for this. I don’t mean to lead you on like this, but I can’t do this.”

  What?

  “What?” I asked.

“I have to go,” she said as she pushed me and jumped down from the island.

I went to grab her, but she evaded me, picked up her purse and hit the
elevator button. I couldn’t believe this. What did I say? What just happened here? “Samantha, if you just wait, we can talk this out,” I said.

“There is nothing to talk about. I can’t do this, this isn’t a good idea, especially if you want to do business with me. Even without the business, I can’t do this.”

The elevator chimed. My temper started to flare, but my physical reaction was delayed, because the elevator doors were open and she was going to get away.

“Wait, hold on just a second, I want…”

“Joshua,” she said as she got on the elevator, “what fucking part didn’t you hear? I can’t do this. I’m not interested in pursuing any sort of relationship with you, business or pleasure. Even a quick fuck. Let it go.”

The doors closed on my shocked face. Now my mouth was wide open.

What the fuck? She didn’t want any sort of relationship, business or pleasure. I call bullshit, but by the time it registered, she was gone and on my private elevator, so I couldn’t even go after her.

  FUCK.

  I texted her:

  Round 1 goes to Roadrunner,

but I call bullshit. Run, but you

  can’t hide.

She didn’t text back and she wouldn’t, I knew that. What she didn’t know was that she was now in the race with a Wiley coyote.

  ******

  SAMANTHA:

That’s what you get when you try to be tactful. People just don’t listen.

He calls bullshit? He wouldn’t say that shit if I told him what I had. Whatever, this got too out of hand.

  Urg.

This is the shit I’m talking about when it comes to business, pleasure and my damn reputation. What the fuck. Now he’s pissed and will probably shun me for the rest of his life. This man is a billionaire, I can’t afford for his wrath to be on me.

The elevator chimed. Shit, I needed to get out of this building. I walked as fast as I could out of the Kelly building. I didn’t look at anyone and I didn’t stop for anything, until I made it to the comfort of my own apartment. Whew. I cannot believe this man got to second base after he told me that he wanted me to head up his cell phone marketing campaign. That just got ruined, not that I was planning on doing it anyway.

I gathered my clothes and took them to the laundromat, along with my iPad. I was trying to finish my eBook, The Chase: Double XX Series, when someone approached me from behind. I jumped and jerked my head back to see who was coming so close behind me. It was a white guy with a goatee and he had on a beanie. He was sexy and he knew it. My goodness.

  “Good evening,” he smiled.

“Evening,” I murmured back and looked back at my iPad.

“Sorry, we didn’t get a chance to meet, I’m Trevor and I was at the meeting last night at the church. I saw you, wanted to approach, but didn’t quite know how to do that without being as awkward as I’m being now,” he blushed.

Wait, he was at the meeting, which meant he had herpes too. I wouldn’t have pictured him as a Trevor. I smiled at him and said, “I know, right.”

  “Was that your first time?”

“Yes, I just wanted to check it out.”

“Same here. I have never been before, but decided I needed the support.”

“Yeah, I hear you there. When did you find out?” I asked.

“I’ve known for years, but I never thought a support group would be helpful, until a woman I was really into told me that she wanted to have kids and she couldn’t do that with me and risk catching the disease.” He had some sadness in his voice.

“Damn, that’s messed up. There are ways though.” I tried to ration.

“Yeah, but she said we didn’t have the money do go those routes and then I realized this was just her excuse.” He tried to reassure himself.

“That’s what it sounds like to me. If someone loves you, then I think they should at least try alternative routes. Maybe that is selfish of me, but I would think I’d like to try. To each his own, I guess.” I surmised.

He smiled at me and sat down. “What your name?” he asked.

“I’m Samantha, but my friends call me Sam,” I replied.

“Sam, it’s nice to finally meet you. Do you live around here?”

“Yes, not too far from here. How bout’ you?” I responded.

“Yup, one block from here. Where are you from?” he asked.

“I’m from D.C., the northeast side.”

“No, I mean where are you from?” he repeated.

  “D.C.” I gave him a puzzled look.

“No, I mean your family. Where is your family from?” he clarified.

“They are from D.C. as well.”

“Um, you might get this a lot, but I’m just trying to figure out what ethnicity you are?”

“Ah, I see.” I made a confused face, not sure why this mattered. To most people, I looked like a light-skinned black woman, but the texture of my hair could tell a different story. Some have mistaken me for Hispanic, Dominican, Indian or White with some mixture of something else. I always identified myself as human, but for the curious minds like Mr. Trevor here, I had one of two choices. Tell him I’m an American, born and raised on U.S. soil or tell him my long lineage of ancestors, but that was none of his business.

“I’m mixed with a few things, but human is what I check when filling out my tax forms, just in case you wanted to audit me,” I responded.

  He turned red. “A-ah.”

At that time, my washing machine buzzer went off, so I got up to check on my clothes, leaving him there staring at me. He got up to stand near me and said, “I didn’t mean any harm, I was just curious.”

“No harm done, but if you excuse me, I need to get my clothes dried.” I motioned for him to get from in front of the other washer that contained my clothes. I guess Roslyn would be upset by my response to him. That didn’t have enough tact, huh. Well, I think he didn’t have tact, asking someone he barely knows where they are from. Maybe I'm over the top, but I get that question all the time and it just annoys me. Who the hell cares, I’m Samantha Wilde.

Trevor got the hint and backed away, like completely away from me. Yup, crash and burn. Cut your losses buddy. I sorted my damp clothes and moved them away from Trevor and his clothes to the other end of the laundromat, where the dryers were located. While my clothes dried, I read some more and this time, with no interruptions. Xena was my kind of woman. She didn’t take any stuff from Xavier’s overbearing ass.

I packed my clothes in my cart and left for home, because I had to clean up my apartment. When I walked in the door, my house phone rang. Nobody really calls that number, so I wasn’t going to answer, until it completely stopped ringing and started ringing again right away. I picked up the phone and saw that it read, SPENCER, ELLI. That’s Elliot, but why is he calling my house phone.

“Hey Elliot, what’s going on? Why are you calling my house phone?”

“Because you didn’t answer your cell phone after 3 calls and 3 unanswered text messages, Sam. What’s going on?”

“Nothing, I left my phone here while I went to the laundromat.”

“Ugh, I thought you had people that cleaned your clothes for you?”

“I usually do, but I felt like being domesticated today. Guess what I’m doing now? Cleaning my apartment.”

“Ugh, what has happened to you?”

“Just felt like being handy, you know it only happens around twice a year.”

“Well, clean good and call your laundry and cleaning service back on duty, you won’t believe the business opportunity that just fell in your lap today!” he exclaimed.

“What, really. What, who, where?” I jumped up and down. “Tell me!”

“Woman, you won’t even believe it. I’m still trying to wrap my mind around it, but the word around town is that you are doing some great things and you’ve got someone’s attention,” he said with genuine excitement.

That is why I liked him. He was in my corner, even when I didn’t have anything
backing me. He helped me build S&W from the ground up and I’d never forget that.

  “Tell me already!”

“Joshua Kelly from Kelly International. You know, the Kelly that has his hands in more stuff than Steve Jobs even wanted to touch. The nationally acclaimed billionaire wants S&W to spearhead a new phone just for exec…”

  “Executives,” we said together.

“How did you know?” he asked.

“That son of a bitch,” I whispered.

“Whoa, sister. What the hell happened?”

“He already pitched the idea to me and I turned him down.”

“What?” He sounded angry, “You know Joshua Kelly from Kelly International?”

“No, I don’t know him, but we ran into each other the other day and it’s a long story, but I told him no, Elliot. I was very clear about that.”

“Well, Sam, you know I always got your back. I’m always rooting for you, but you are crazy to turn that down. As your friend, you’re crazy and as your business guru, you are plain nuts.”

He sighed and then I sighed.

“Sam, hear me out. If Joshua Kelly personally offers you an opportunity to kiss his shoe, you hike up that tight little skirt of yours, put on your best lipstick and kiss both shoes. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. This won’t come around again. You won’t have to go about this alone and the man would not have asked you if he thought S&W were incapable of handling it. You guys are doing your thing, not just in the district, but around the country. How often are you in the office these days? This is your chance and he is a shrewd businessman, so he wouldn’t set you up.”

“You sound like him. Did he tell you to say that?”

“No, I know his work. Remember, I get paid to keep up on any and everything. Especially billionaires like J. Kelly.”

“Elliot, look. Today, he and I met up for lunch. He told me about his business proposal and I told him I’d think about it. Then he showed me his offices, where the marketing department was located, his personal office and then his penthouse on the 40th floor. One thing led to another, and I was dry humping him, while sitting on his kitchen island and he was already at second base. I pushed him off of me and basically ran to his ‘personal’ elevator. So, I said all of that to say, this isn’t going to work.”
