A squeak escaped Kyla. He just kissed her there!
Rick marvelled at the astonished look in her eyes. No man had ever touched her here with his mouth. He pushed her back till she was back against the shower wall. He caressed her thigh. “Put it over my shoulder,” he ordered.
Kyla shook her head. A frightened look covered her face.
Rick smiled, fingers drawing circles on her thighs. “Kyla…if you don’t like it I will stop,” he promised.
She closed her eyes. This couldn’t be right. Men didn’t… Wait Mel had said something about this, going down on her. That John guy, her ex, had gone down on her and had been so rushed it hurt. She furrowed her brow. She wasn’t sure she wanted this.
“Stop thinking, Kyla. You need to start going with what your body is feeling,” he replied, his thumbs spreading the lips of her vagina. He dipped forward and his tongue gave her one long, slow lick and she moaned the most carnal moan she had ever heard. Her eyes shot open. That could not have been her! That guttural moan had not just come from her. She was incapable of that sound.
Rick led her leg over his shoulder and he took her hand. “Here, sugar, assist me, please.” He parted her fingers to hold herself open to him, his hands taking hold of her hips. She peered down at him. His eyes darted to hers and he smiled, easing forward. She shivered.
Kyla trembled when his mouth returned to her needy pussy and squeaked when his tongue circled her aching clit. She tried to close her legs. “Oh God!” she whimpered when his tongue moved rapidly over her. Silken torture. Goddamn, Mel had not described this feeling well enough for her.
She closed her eyes and shook her head. Oh God. She jerked her hips, his hands stopping her. Confusion filled her. She needed to grab something. She wanted him to go harder, move back up. Where was he going and why wasn’t he still licking her? She grunted in frustration.
Rick glanced up at her. “Something wrong?” he asked.
She shook her head.
He raised a brow. “So you’re good?”
She shook her head.
“Speak, Kyla.”
She growled. “Your…” She clamped her mouth shut.
He grinned. “Stop being shy,” he ordered.
“I want more,” she cried.
He smiled. “More of what?” he asked softly.
“More of what you were doing!” Her voice rose in frustration.
Rick grinned. “Do you want me to lick your pussy?”
She nodded.
“Say it, Kyla.”
She shook her head. He started to rise, lowering her leg from his shoulder and her heart plummeted. “I…I want you to lick my pussy!” she blurted.
Rick smiled.
Chapter Seven
Kyla panted heavily, arms outstretched, bracing herself on the shower walls. Her hips strained with every stroke, eagerly striving for more. Her heavy moans filled the room. His hand grasped her other leg and soon he held all of her weight on his broad shoulders. His mouth covered her completely. He sucked on her clit and her legs strained at the rush of pleasure that ripped through her.
“Oh God…ah…ohh shit…fuck… More please,” she panted, begged, eyes clenching closed. Hands fisting, she slipped. He gripped her, holding her steady, one hand splayed across her tummy, holding her to the wall.
She placed a hand on the top of his head. His tongue worked her and brought her higher. Soon she was wailing her screams, pulling his hair, and her body shivered with the most overwhelming feeling she had ever felt.
Rick caught her up as she plummeted forward. Her whole body trembled. He rinsed the conditioner from her hair and turned down the cold water and held her close as the hot water showered them. The aftershocks of her orgasm sent wicked shivers down his spine.
Kyla stumbled from his arms and scrambled from the shower.
“Kyla…?”
She ignored him, grabbing her towel and wrapping it around herself. She rushed from his bathroom, stumbled over his clothes on the floor in his room, and he caught her before she hit the floor.
“Kyla… Did I hurt you?”
She shook her head, tears streaming down her face. She didn’t know what was wrong. They shouldn’t have done that. “I wanna go home,” she whispered, not daring to look at him.
Rick knelt, hugging her close. “Don’t be afraid of what we share, Kyla,” he whispered against her ear.
“We shouldn’t be doing this,” she cried, looking at him.
Rick’s heart clenched at the tears in her eyes. He had made women come to tears but not this. She looked devastated. He cupped her face, his thumbs wiping the tears away. “Kyla—”
She shook her head, stopping him from saying anything. “Mom said to stay away from you. That you weren’t for me!” she cried, trying to scramble from his arms.
Rick tightened his grip. “Why? Because her husband is my older brother?” he muttered. He couldn’t believe Lila would say something like that.
Kyla looked at him. He yelled at her. She had not ever heard him yell. She wiped the tears rolling down her cheeks. “I wanna go home,” she repeated. She didn’t need to have this conversation.
Rick narrowed his eyes. Maybe he should let her walk away right now. She wasn’t anywhere near ready for his kind of lifestyle. He released her. Kyla scrambled to her feet and rushed from his room.

Lila glowered, hands placed on her hips, a disgruntled look on her face, and in full-throttle mommy mode. “You didn’t even call me!” She raised her voice.
Kyla slumped, hugging the blanket closer. “I didn’t realize it was about you, Mom,” she replied dryly.
Lila rounded the old beat-up couch and sat down on the just as beat-up coffee table. “It isn’t! My daughter is friggen roughed up by some shithead at work, authorities are called, and you don’t call me! I have to hear it through the grapevine that Hank, that fucker, raped you!” she yelled.
Kyla raised a brow. Her mom was pissed. She had not ever seen her get that red in the face. “He didn’t rape me,” she grumbled, looking away from her mom.
Lila inhaled a sharp breath. “What the hell is going on, Kyla? Where were you last night?”
Kyla closed her eyes. She wouldn’t tell her mom. “I wanted to be alone… I went and got a hotel room,” she mumbled.
Lila narrowed her eyes. “Bullshit!”
Kyla groaned. “Mom, I don’t need this right now. You don’t think I have enough on my mind?”
Lila slumped. “I’m sorry, scared here. Shit, why didn’t you call me? What the hell was Rick doing there? Mel told me he beat the shit out of Hank.”
Kyla shrugged. She had no idea what happened. She didn’t remember much from after she had felt her pants being ripped down and the sound of Hank’s zipper till she was sitting at Rick’s eating and talking about sex. Oh God he must think she was a slut.
Lila scooted in next to her daughter, hugging her close. “Not leaving till you feel all better.” She growled. Kyla snuggled close. She would take this right now. This hug. She needed a mom hug. Even if she was responsible for the guilt she was feeling, for the amazing passion Rick had given her that very morning.

George drove up the snow-covered driveway. His heart warmed at the sight of his old home. Carmy and baby Lana were with him, giving Keena a much needed rest away from the girls. “Uncle Ricky!” Carmy squealed, itching to unbuckle.
George chuckled. “Ease up, sweetheart. Soon enough,” he said, parking in next to Rick’s truck. He unbuckled Lana’s seat and opened the door for Carmy. She rushed past him and ran to Rick, Deeogee barreling out of the truck right behind her.
Rick smiled, holding his arms out to her. “Hello, sweet stuff.”
She hugged him close and kissed each of his cheeks. “Daddy brought us to see you. Mommy is having a mommy day!” she announced.
Rick smiled. “Good. Mommy needs a Mommy day. Maybe on the weekend we can hang with baby Lana and they can have Mommy and Daddy
time?”
Carmy’s eyes grew big. “Really?” she cried, hope in her big blue eyes.
Rick chuckled. “Sure why not. Hang with my nieces, I can do that… You like pizza hey?”
Carmy giggled and nodded. “Daddy, Uncle will babysit us while you and Mommy go out,” she announced when he caught up.
George raised a questioning brow. “Couldn’t find any other entertainment?” he shot at him, regretting it the moment it slipped from his mouth. It had been a rough couple of months. Lack of sleep, emotional wife, screaming children. He was living the life. He may not look like he was loving it, but deep down he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Rick glowered at him. “Don’t even, George. Trying to offer you an alone night with Keena. You think you would be all over that,” he replied, heading into the house.
Carmy jumped out of Uncle Rick’s arms when they got in and rushed to the fridge. Rick pulled out a glass for her while she grabbed up juice. “See, Daddy, Uncle knows I can use a glass,” she declared on behalf of her uncle.
George nodded, easing baby Lana from her car seat. The little one whimpered. George grinned. “Little faker,” he teased. Big brown eyes looked at him. He grinned. “Caught you. That whimper doesn’t work on me like Mommy,” he warned.
Rick chuckled. “Keena’s okay?” he asked. It wasn’t normal to see George and Keena apart from each other.
George nodded. “Yup, she just needed to get out.”
Rick nodded. He had heard something about her being at Lila’s and breaking down in tears over nothing. He poured Carmy’s juice and let her take it to the table. He held it up for George. “Coffee would be awesome,” he replied, settling back on the sofa, brow rising at the obvious girl top hanging there. “Really, Rick.”
Carmy giggled, looking around. “Girlfriend?” she asked in a sweet hope-filled voice.
Rick chuckled. “No.” He plucked it up and tossed it down the hall toward his laundry room, but it fell short. He was sure he had left Kyla’s clothes in the laundry. He settled in on the love seat, Carmy hopping on his lap. “Mommy doesn’t want to have any more babies,” she announced.
Rick nodded. “I wouldn’t either. They seem like a lot of work.”
Carmy nodded. “They are! Mommy misses Daddy and Daddy’s there all the time and she cries a lot and the baby cries and then everyone starts crying and Daddy has to hug us and make us all better and then it starts all over again.” She raised her hands in the air and let them fall with exaggeration.
Rick hugged her close. “Well then I guess Mommy and Daddy do need alone time, don’t they?”
Carmy nodded. “Mommy got mad at me because I called Grandpa and told him.”
Rick grunted. “Not your grandpa’s concern,” he replied
Carmy grunted and buried her head under his chin. “Helping,” she mumbled.
Rick grinned and rubbed her back. “I can take them, George,” he offered. It scared the shit out of him but if it was that bad, he would take them.
George smiled, shaking his head. “I’ll talk to Keena. She’s still at that stage of ‘don’t take my baby she needs me!’” He mimicked her voice and Rick chuckled. Carmy scrambled from his lap and ran to the door, letting Deeogee in.
The dog trotted to Rick and sniffed him. Rick petted her big head. “Hey, girl. Goodness who would have thought I’d miss you, fur ball.” Deeogee nearly hopped in his lap. “Go take a walk, girl?”
Deeogee scrambled back to the door. George yawned and Rick laughed. “Here I’ll take shrimp one and two and Deeogee for a walk. Take a nap.”
George looked at Lana. She was asleep. They could nap together.
Rick shook his head, holding his hands out. “Come on you know you want to just lay back and sleep.”
George gave in. Rick was right. He needed sleep just as bad. “I have to be gone by two, feeding time at three,” he ordered.
Rick looked at the clock. He had an hour with the girls. “Got it. Be back shortly.”
Chapter Eight
Rick watched George’s car drive away. He missed his brother time, all his brothers. He would have to make arrangements for a boys’ night out. He furrowed his brows. Another month or so though. Maybe put a bug in Lila’s ear to plan a girls’ night. He harrumphed. There was that taboo show coming to the city next month. Lila and Paula would be into it. Keena not so much. But hey, maybe George had brought a little kink into their bedroom? He’d mention it and maybe all the brothers could have the kids out here?
He returned to the house and looked through his planner for a free night. Hmmm what to do? His eyes darted down the hall and fell on Kyla’s top. He was sure she had been wearing it when they left this morning. Poor pet had been so distraught. He looked at his cell. He had texted her numerous times today already to see how she was and nothing. No fine, no fuck off. No leave me alone. Complete silence. Maybe he should call Lila and ask her what her fucking problem was? What had he done to have her dislike the thought of him and Kyla being together? Surely she wasn’t fixating on her and Jared being married. He understood how people might judge them but he didn’t give a shit! He loved Kyla. He paused and froze. Was that what this was? Holy shit. He actually loved her. He thought back to the last few years. Shit he couldn’t remember the last time he took a partner. And he swore that one woman did not count. He had been down and drunk and not in the right mind. He cringed. Never again. Fuck three years for sure. Yeah he’d had his offers from numerous women but none of them had interested him. Not how Kyla did. Every time he saw her his whole being came to life. His heart skipped a beat and his world brightened up. Yes, it was time to talk to Lila and figure out what the hell was her problem. He picked up the phone and put it back down. Fuck it, he hadn’t seen Jared in a month. He would go over in person.
* * * *
Jared hugged Rick up in a half hug. “I didn’t expect to see you here,” he said, releasing his baby brother and looking him over. He wasn’t sure what was up but something seemed different about Rick. And it was unusual for Rick to stop in in the middle of the day. Normally he only stopped in the evening or came over if there was a poker night planned. Poker night. Damn when was the last time they’d had a poker night.
Rick shrugged. “Haven’t seen you in a while and thought I would stop in.” He glanced around.
Jared laughed. Bull fucking shit! “Looking for Lila?” he asked. Now he knew what was up. Rick wanted to talk to Lila about Kyla.
Rick grunted. “Yes.”
Jared sighed. “Come in, she should be home in a bit. Want a coffee?”
Rick shook his head. “No thanks, I feel a headache coming on. Maybe some water or juice?”
Jared nodded. “How’s Kyla holding up? Lila was pissed.”
Rick raised his brows. “She was good last night. Cried some, got mad some. Talked a lot. Why would Lila be mad? Kyla was safe. The only reason I took her out to my place was I wanted her to face what happened. I know how she tends to bury shit and if you keep on burying it, it’s going to come back and bite you in the ass. I thought it best that she talk about it. Face it and come to terms. Not saying she’s come to terms but at least she is aware of what happened.”
Jared frowned. It wasn’t normal for Rick to explain himself. Had something happened that he needed to know about? “Lila was pissed because some shithead hauled his ugly ass on her daughter, ripped her fucking pants down. I hadn’t realized Kyla was with you last night.” What the fuck was wrong with Rick? Were his sugar levels low?
Rick nodded. “Yeah sorry wasn’t thinking,” he mumbled. He could feel himself getting flustered and fast. Whoa, he felt like a teenaged boy who was in the house of the parents of the girl he liked. Fuck’s sakes!
Jared nodded. “You will be careful with Kyla,” he warned.
Rick grunted. “What the fuck is it with Lila telling her to stay the hell away from me?” he demanded.
Jared frowned. “Lila’s never told her that.”
Rick scoffed. “T
hat’s not what Kyla told me,” he replied, pissed off.
Jared led Rick out to the backyard, placing their drinks on the table and motioning for Rick to sit. Rick settled in a lounger, waving at Anne playing in the sandbox. She peeked up. “Hi, Uncle Rick,” she called.
Rick smiled. “Hello, Anne, whatcha building today?”
She smiled. “My castle, I’m a princess. I’m going to be a queen one day and rule a whole house.”
Rick smiled. “I think you already do, sweetheart.”
Anne smiled, shaking her head. “Nope, Mommy’s queen.”
Rick smiled. Damn he loved his little nieces. Holy shit that was Kyla’s baby sister. His niece! Was this wrong? Wait. No. Couldn’t be. He loved Kyla! He wanted to spend the rest of his life with Kyla.
Jared relaxed back and put his feet up. “What happened?” he asked.
Rick kept his eyes on Anne. “I’m not some fucking pervert,” he uttered.
Jared raised an eyebrow. “I never said you were.”
Rick glanced at him. “She’s not fucking related to me!”
Jared clasped his hands on his lap. Something had happened between Rick and Kyla. “How mad is Lila going to be?” he asked calmly.
Rick grunted. “Doesn’t matter, she’ll be mad anyway,” he grumbled.
Jared needed to have a chitchat with Lila about Kyla. Not that anything he said had any bearing. He just needed to remind her love happened everywhere. Rick and Kyla were not related in any way. They had a right to love each other. Anyone who lived in his house knew Kyla loved Rick. Had for years. Well crushed on him, then admired him and loved him.
Rick grunted. “Just pisses me off that Kyla thinks this is so wrong! I have never seen anyone have so much friggen guilt.”
Jared raised a brow. “You are aware she was nearly raped yesterday? She’s lost, confused, and feeling who knows what else,” he reminded him.
Rick snorted. “Man I was there. You think I didn’t help her face that! You think I just took her home and had my way! Fuck! What the hell is wrong with you people? Do I look like some sicko?”
