  BIBLIOGRAPHY

Ungentlemanly Acts is based on original military records in the National Archives, primarily the transcripts of the three Geddes courts-martial in the records of the Judge Advocate General, General Courts Martial 1812—1938 (RG 153). In addition, I have consulted records of the Department of Texas (RG 393); carded medical records, Appointment, Commission and Promotion files, and other records of the Adjutant General’s Office (RG 94); records of the Office of the Quartermaster General (RG 92); and records of the Department of Agriculture (RG 16).
