Wooing Justin: The Cameron Family Saga, Book Two Page 11

by Shirley Larson

“Don’t be silly. You think I want to truss myself up in a bridesmaid’s dress? Not on your life. Besides, it was lovely seeing you and Natalie come down the stairs and stand together. Don’t give it another thought. You did exactly the right thing.”

How very gracious she was. It was hard to believe the press could say such nasty things about her simply because she was an actress and allied to a rich family.

Justin came to capture me. “Time for us to change clothes, wife.” How I loved the sound of that word on his lips.

It was hard saying goodbye to Natalie but I knew she was going to be well cared for. She was to stay here at the mansion with Liz and help with the baby. She loved being around baby Madeline.

As we walked up the stairs I said to Justin, “You haven’t told me where we’re going on our honeymoon.” I could feel the heavy gold ring on my finger. I loved the weight of it. Justin had chosen a band set with diamonds all around since he hadn’t gotten me an engagement ring. His was a matching plain gold band.

“Not to Puerto Rico. Hunter is loaning us his villa on St. John, where he took Liz on their getaway. He says it’s completely private and very easy to lie around sans clothes. That sounded good to me. He thinks they made their baby there. He was hoping I’d have the same luck. I told him I already made a baby in Puerto Rico.”

“Is there nothing sacred in this family?”

  “No. Let’s go change, wife.”

Two days later, we cruised to Hunter’s island hideaway. Whether it was because we were happy or because the weather was ideal and Justin had no demands of family or work on him, he hadn’t had any leaking or a migraine in the last few days.

We walked around in Hunter’s lovely island home without any clothes and we made love in the bed, on the patio chair and on the long leather couch. One evening when we were sated with food, and half way dressed in loose robes for a change, Justin said with that impish gleam in his eye, “So have you really loved me since we were in high school together?”

“You want me to flatter your ego more than I already have?”

He came to where I lay on the couch and loosened my robe to let it fall away. It seemed to me I could feel the baby inside me even though it was much too soon to feel anything. As if he read my thoughts, he leaned over me and put his hand on my abdomen. “My ego isn‘t the topic under discussion. Answer the question, Annie.”

“I have loved you, more than you know, for as long as I can remember.”

He snuggled in on top of me and with my help came inside me easily. “I hated chem class, but it seemed much more tolerable when you were there. That should have been a clue, huh?”

“You’d think,” I said, wriggling around so that he was deeper inside me. “But you were a typical teenage male. Clueless.”

“I don’t feel…clueless now,” he said, as he lifted himself out of me and plunged back down again.

“How do you feel,” I asked him, hardly able to concentrate on his words, my body was singing with such pleasure.

“Like I will love you for as long as we both can remember,” he said. He brought me to climax and we went together to that place where only true lovers go.

Thank you for reading Wooing Justin. I hope you enjoyed it and would consider writing a review. The Cameron family saga continues with Alex and Lynne’s stories.
