I grinned, pulling Rex’s face to mine. “Yes! Of course!”
He stood, grinning from ear to ear, sliding the ring onto my finger. I grabbed his face again and kissed him.
“Alright, alright,” Matt chided, “Calm it down, let’s get the hell out of here and celebrate.”
Rex pulled away from me, still beaming, admiring the ring on my hand.
“I can’t wait to fulfill that promise again tonight,” he murmured in my ear, “But it’s been months again, baby… I won’t be able to be gentle.”
I grinned, kissing him again, not being able to get enough. “Promise?”
He winked wolfishly. “Oh, yes ma’am.”
Two Years Later
Rex
I tossed my bag down inside the door, listening for Audrey.
“Babe?” I called, glancing into the living room for her, then the kitchen. I went upstairs, past our wedding photos on the stairs, checking our bedroom, then seeing her in the nursery.
She was folding onesies and placing them in boxes.
“Hey baby,” I murmured, sliding my hands around her hips to her big belly. She was seven months pregnant with our first child.
“Hey honey,” she cooed, tossing another onesie in the box, stretching her neck.
She turned in my arms. “How was work?”
I shrugged. “The usual, just trying to get paperwork finished before the move.”
Audrey nodded. Two years in and she was still getting used to the Army life. She adjusted much better than Carrie had, though.
Matt and Carrie had transferred duty stations the year before and we talked about pursuing a transfer as well to be closer to them. The official approval was given last week.
We were excited, but Audrey was worried about getting there and settled before the baby arrived.
I rubbed my hands on her round belly. “Any trouble today?”
She shook her head, hands on my shoulders. “She’s kicking like crazy but nothing more than the usual.”
I smiled, sure enough, feeling our baby girl kick under my hands.
“No heavy packing, okay?” I chastised, “Whatever you can’t get comfortably, the movers and I will get. I don’t need you going into early labor because you’re stubborn.”
Audrey rolled her eyes. “Yes, I know. The doctor already told me.”
I grinned and kissed her, our baby pressed between us. The last two years had been the happiest of my entire life. I had the woman I loved more than anything and our baby on the way. I loved her so much it fucking hurt.
“What can I do to help?” I asked, motioning to the piles of clothes and boxes.
“Start with all the bedding and toys?” she asked, blue eyes sparkling.
I nodded and started folding, placing them in the boxes. I watched her fold onesies so small, it seemed impossible that in two months, we’d have a baby in them.
There was nothing in the entire world more important to me than my wife and my little girl. I beamed knowing I’d spend the rest of my life absolutely dedicated to them and spending every day making sure they knew just how much I loved them.
The End.

Give me one hour and I’ll change your life.
Olivia
I’d been kickboxing at Derek’s club for two years; it was still hard but I was getting better. The hardest part, however, was being around my trainer, Derek Owens. He was tall, tan, and incredibly strong. It was hard to keep my head on straight whenever he was around.
He was tough on me, like he was on everyone else, and I knew there would never be anything between us. He had his reputation and business to uphold… And I wasn’t exactly the picture of sinful pleasure at the end of the rounds, dripping sweat and exhausted. Still… didn’t hurt to look.

I was in a sticky situation with Olivia. I wanted her like crazy; she’d become a really good kick boxer and was quick to pick up new moves, but I had a strict policy against dating club members. For a while, I’d hoped that I’d be so hard on her that she’d leave the club and I could pursue her… but, tough as nails, she stayed dedicated and didn’t let me intimidate her.
So I was stuck… Day in and day out training her and watching her practice knowing I could never have her. If only she knew that as hard as I worked her out in the gym, that was nothing compared to what I really wanted to do to her. I wanted to give her more than just training.
