Mortal Sight Page 28

by Sandra Fernandez Rhoads

My patient children Addison, Leyton, Siena, and Ethan, who endured hours and hours and hours of an absentminded mom burning dinners and forgetting lunches on account of the unruly, imagined kids wreaking havoc in her head. My mom, four sisters, and sprawling family for their ongoing love and support.

Professor John Rumrich for his unbridled brilliance that sparked my love for Milton’s Paradise Lost when I was an undergrad at UT Austin long ago. And for the love of my life, John, who sacrificed, endured, encouraged, believed, and wouldn’t ever let me quit.
