Three Lovers For Lucy Page 9

by S. K. Yule

Before she knew it, her gown was bunched at her waist, his trousers were at his ankles and she was face down on the bed with him buried deep in her wetness. She cried out at in joy at his possession of her, and her muscles pulled him in deeper, squeezing and begging for release.

“Oh!” Her head swirled with a delicious fog of pleasure as he pounded her from behind, in and out, in and out.

“This time, you will scream my name, Lucy.” He placed his mouth close to her ear.

She squeezed her eyes shut, his name already bubbling up from her chest. A wave crashed through her body, racking it with spasms.

  “Courtenay!”

“No!” He slammed into her harder. “Call me by my Christian name. I must hear it from your lips.” He leaned close to her, slammed his hips home again and whispered in her ear. “Lucy-y-y.”

“Jeremy!” She screamed his name, and again, as he pounded into her thrust after thrust. She moaned it as he grunted and spilled his seed inside her.

Later, she lay snuggled with him in her bed. “I can’t tell you how much I missed you. I was worried that the three of you had changed your minds about me.” She squeaked when he hugged her a little too tightly.

“Sorry.” He loosened his hold but didn’t let her go. “There is no way any of us could forget you, Lucy.”

“I need to talk to the three of you together. It’s important.”

“Paul and Kendall will be here soon. We’ll hear whatever you have to say, and then you must choose one of us.”

“We’ll see,” she answered tiredly. For now she was happy to be in one of her three lovers’ arms. She admired Jeremy Courtenay’s square jaw shadowed with a dusting of whiskers. His eyes were closed, and she sighed in envy of the thick lashes that lay against his golden skin. His deliciously muscled arms held her protectively to his chest while he slept, and she longed for Weston and Talbot to join them. She followed him into sleep within moments, completely satiated, happy and lulled by the rise and fall of his breathing.

  Chapter Fourteen

The next morning, Lucy was awakened by the arrival of Weston and Talbot. She was still nude, as was Courtenay, and she rested between his legs with her back to his chest. His arms were loosely draped around her waist.

“How did I get here?” She smiled and wiggled against him.

“You’re a very sound sleeper.” He kissed her cheek.

“What the hell, Courtenay? You were supposed to wait for us.” Talbot narrowed his eyes on the scene.

“Yes.” Weston frowned in mock fury. “I thought we agreed to wait until we were all together.”

“And you expect me to believe that if this situation were reversed, neither of you angels would have done the same?” Courtenay kissed Lucy on the head. “I mean, try and resist temptation. Just look at her.” He ran a finger over her shoulder and down her arm.

Lucy listened to them with a sleepy smile. Whatever was to come, for now all was right with the world.

“You know damn well neither one of us would have waited.” Weston chuckled. “That still doesn’t excuse it.”

“Now the lady owes us both some individual attention.” Talbot winked at her and she laughed.

“Don’t worry. I think I can spare you all the attention you want,” she said, but then became serious. “I need to talk to the three of you.” She sat up and tucked the sheet around her.

“And we must talk to you as well. Though you’ll have to choose one of us, we’ve found a way we can all be together without drawing too much attention from our lovely townspeople.” Weston handed her a piece of paper.

She read the letter in her hands, and her jaw went slack. “How did you do this?” She glanced at Weston, then Talbot.

“It wasn’t that hard,” Weston boasted. He reached out and ran his thumb over her bottom lip.

“Are you serious? Getting an audience at court usually takes months.”

“Yes, but we have connections.” Talbot wiggled his eyebrows up and down, enjoying himself immensely. “Seems the magistrate has a penchant for good wine.”

“This is completely legitimate?” Lucy couldn’t believe it. They had indeed found a way to spend as much time together as they wanted.

“Completely. All it needs is your signature, and to be filed with the court.”

The solution was as brilliant as it was simple. Weston and Talbot were already business partners, and they needed more land for growing the malt and hops for their beer. Courtenay was buying more Thoroughbred mares and also needed more land, for grazing. She had acres that were lying fallow, now that so many of the young generation was moving to the towns. The contract in her hand merged these interests into a partnership.

“Speak, fair maiden.” Paul Talbot put his hand on his heart. “Wilt thou marry me? And if not, what about he, or he?” He pointed to the two others.

She laughed. “I’ll sign, if you still want that after you hear me out.”

Unusually, for them, all fell silent.

She told them of her impending marriage to Lord Hayward, and why she had agreed. To her immense relief, none of them showed the slightest ridicule for the Earl’s sexual preference. “I love you all too much to bind one closer and push the other two outside that circle. I know none of us would want that to happen, but it would. I couldn’t stand it if jealousy ever came between you.”

“Is this truly what you want?” Weston asked.

Talbot took her hand in his, turned it over and kissed her knuckles.

“Yes. I’m fond of Lord Hayward, though not in the way I love you. We don’t plan on having a physical relationship, but the marriage will help him as much as it does me. He is a kind, wise and honorable man.”

“I think I speak for us all when I say we want to meet the man and discuss this face to face.” Weston smiled at Lucy, and a tiny dimple—one she had not noticed before—appeared at the corner of his mouth.

“I’d expect nothing less, and I don’t think Edwin—Lord Hayward—would either.” Lucy leaned back against Courtenay. Life was full of surprises, and she could not deny the fact that one day one or more of her lovers might want a marriage and children. She would never stand in the way of their happiness, but for now she would revel in what she had.

“To maintain some semblance of a marriage, I should spend half of my time living in my husband’s household. But of course it’s only natural I should spend the rest here, looking after my share in the partnership. Agreed?” Lucy looked at each of their sinfully gorgeous faces. “Weston?”

  “Kendall by now, surely.”

“Agreed.” Lucy looked at each of her lovers as she called them by their first names. “Kendall, Jeremy and Paul.”

“Agreed, Lucy.” All three answered at the same time.

She took the pen Kendall offered and scribbled her name on the line under their three signatures, then stared at the paper, not sure if this was a dream.

“The partnership is no sham,” Jeremy said as Kendall took the paper, folded it into the pocket of the jacket he removed, and laid it carefully on the cedar chest at the end of the bed. “We really will have work to do together. Selecting the right kind of varieties of barley, importing the best vines, selecting the right studs for our mares or the right clients to entertain will give us plenty to do.”

“There will be setbacks, annoyances and disagreements at times,” the poet Paul unexpectedly warned.

“Disagreements? I don’t think I like the sound of that.” Lucy pursed her lips.

“Think how wonderful making up will be.” Kendall’s eyes twinkled at her.

Paul pulled off his coat and tossed it on top of Kendall’s. Reaching under the blanket, he caressed her instep. She sighed as he increased the pressure to a massage.

“Our sweet Lucy likes massages.” He uncovered her foot. “With feet as lovely as these to rub, I might just acquire a foot fetish.”

She giggled when he bent to suck a toe into his mouth. The giggle quickly turned to a gasp wh
en his tongue traveled the length of her calf.

Jeremy pushed the covers down to her waist and began kneading her breasts, pinching the nipples between his fingers and tugging them gently until they were dark red and peaked from his touch. Wetness pooled between her thighs, and her head dropped back to rest on his shoulder.

Kendall removed the rest of his clothes as Lucy watched him from under half-closed lids. When he was as gloriously nude as Jeremy, he sat back on the edge of the bed and flipped the covers completely away from her, letting them fall in a puddle to the floor. He stroked her knee and thigh while Paul continued to caress the other leg.

Jeremy’s hardened shaft pushed against her lower back and she squirmed to get closer. He groaned, gripped a thigh in each hand and pulled back, nudging her upper body forward until she fell forward onto her elbows.

“Get undressed,” she directed Paul, smiling when he hurried to obey.

Her breath hitched in her throat as Jeremy slid two long fingers inside her and slowly stroked her inside and out. Careful to keep her bottom up and to allow Jeremy’s continued access, she crooked a finger at Kendall and Paul and patted the bed in front of her. “On your knees, please.”

Neither offered any resistance. She circled Paul with her hand and stroked him from tip to base. Repeating the motion, she squeezed his balls gently every other time on the down stroke. His grunts and groans let her know that he was thoroughly enjoying her attention. While she continued pleasing Paul with her hand, she leaned toward Kendall and took him in her mouth. He gasped, and she licked the bead of moisture from the tip of his shaft before swallowing him down again.

Jeremy buried his fingers deeply inside her and thrust up when she pushed her hips down over him. Wave after wave pulsed through her as a tidal wave built inside her, and she anticipated its thundering crash on shore. Kendall’s cock deep in her mouth, her hand stroking Paul, and Jeremy’s fingers delving into her from behind was nearly more pleasure than she could take. She cried out around Kendall’s thick shaft each time Jeremy invaded her wetness.

Paul pulled away from her and traded places with Jeremy, but instead of sliding his fingers inside her, he pushed his shaft deep with one smooth thrust of his hips until he was sheathed to the hilt.

“Good God! I think I might die.” Paul lingered, building a lazy rhythm as he gripped her and pulled down her hips to meet each of his upward thrusts.

She moved to stroke Kendall with her hand and licked Jeremy’s tip. He tasted salty and masculine. She circled the top, laving the clear drop of moisture that beaded on the engorged head. All three men groaned as she twisted, crying out her response to Paul, who pounded into her in earnest now.

Within moments, Paul climaxed, and she was rolled onto her back with Kendall between her thighs and Paul kissing her. Jeremy fondled her breasts while Kendall entered her. Paul’s tongue stroked inside her mouth with consummate expertise, showing her just how arousing a kiss could be. It occurred to her suddenly that this was not merely a kiss. It was a claiming. Even as they shared her, each of them was branding her with his own fire. She’d never thought she’d allow one, let alone three, men to conquer her, but that was exactly what she was doing. After all, each of them was hers.

She strained her hips toward Kendall, glimpsing the sweat slickening her own body. She reached up, gripped his muscular shoulders and ran her hands down Jeremy’s hard back. She looked from one man to the other, mesmerized by the beauty passion brought to their faces. She knew her expression was similarly lit. Kendall pumped into her harder, harder, and Paul kissed her neck and shoulders. Each pinch of her nipple from Jeremy caused little jolts of electricity to shoot through her down to her clit, where it seemed to flow into Kendall at each of his touches.

She was getting close, her wave rushed toward the shore, but before it broke and crashed, Kendall jerked, cried out and emptied inside her. He stilled, but her orgasm screamed to be released. Kendall kissed her on the stomach and pulled out of her, but flipped her onto her front. Her hips were jerked to the edge of the bed and her feet met the floor.

Jeremy loved taking her from behind, and she loved it when he did. He gripped her thighs in his big hands, pulling her up so he could position himself at her entrance. When he pushed deep into her, her muscles clamped around him. Her body quivered. Paul and Jeremy caressed her back, their rough male skin delicious against her softness. Jeremy pumped into her once, twice, and she was lost.

Every muscle tightened, and she screamed out as the wave of passion lifted to towering heights by her three lovers finally hit shore. She shook with the force of her climax and barely heard Jeremy’s cry of release through the ecstasy that rang in her ears. She gasped as a second wave hit with a force she’d never known. Jeremy let her legs drop and she lay motionless, unable to move one satiated muscle. Her body had ignited into a boneless, molten euphoria.

“Wonderful!” The single words took all her effort to whisper. Within moments she was tucked between her Trio and starting to drift into sleep.

“It was better than wonderful.” Kendall’s voice rasped out quietly, still a little breathless.

“Weren’t you two supposed to tell me something? Jeremy said you’d tell me as soon as you got here.” Lucy propped herself up on her elbows.

“I love you, Lucy. More than you will ever know.” Paul’s blue eyes sparkled as he bent to kiss her. He stroked her tongue with his, lazily thrusting, mimicking what he’d done with his body.

Kendall took her mouth. His kiss was more demanding than Paul’s as he pushed his tongue deep. He tangled his fingers in her hair and held her to him while he ravished her mouth. She was breathless when he pulled back. “Lucy, I love you more than anything.”

“I love you all, too. I can’t imagine how it would have been to lose you.” She snuggled back down under the covers.

All three of them hugged her, and she smiled. She was content. Unbelievable still that nothing stood in their way to happiness, or Edwin’s. Come what may, whatever the risks, she was determined to carve this new path, and to walk it with them.

  Epilogue

  Two months later.

Lucy’s wedding to Lord Edwin Hayward went off smoothly. To Lucy’s relief, The Trio and Lord Hayward had gotten along at once. Now it felt as if they’d known each other for years. They were all at ease around one another, and she knew her lovers would protect Lord Hayward’s reputation as voraciously as they protected hers.

The party was vastly successful. Of course, Bernard had shown up, his fat jowls turning red in predictable Bernard fashion, but when no one attended to his mutterings he made a hasty retreat.

Within a month of their marriage, she’d been happy to find that Edwin had obviously taken a liking to a gentleman who returned his affection. To her surprise, that man was Viscount Carrington. What was more, Edwin seemed to put him at his ease, bringing out a grace and wit that his forced air had previously obscured.

Lucy grinned at Beatrice. “Perhaps you ought to consider renewing the engagement on different terms.”

“I might at that,” Beatrice returned, giving Carrington a newly assessing eye. “Your arrangement seems worth imitating.”

As she’d hoped, Edwin was not only kind and honorable, but good company on the occasions when they were together. Every day he seemed more like the brother she had never had.

Lucy sat under a tree, smiling as she watched Jeremy and Kendall wrestle with a rather rambunctious stallion while Paul held the mare intended for the black hellion. Which had the more primal appeal, the eager, muscular stud or the intent and equally muscular humans, it was hard to say. They were trying to teach him to be mannerly toward the ladies, but he was having none of it, focused only on the act he craved to perform. When they finally let him mount the mare, Lucy’s heart pounded. The most primordial act in all of nature never ceased to amaze or excite her.

The mare pushed back into the stallion as he grunted on top of her and squealed in delight when he completed the d
eed. She laughed when the stud trotted away, nonchalant, gentle as a puppy.

After the horses were returned to their stalls, the three men came up to Lucy. Kendall and Jeremy stretched out beside her and Paul sat at her bare feet massaging her toes. He seemed to have grown quite fond of her feet. She was glad she’d decided to take off her shoes to wiggle her toes in the grass.

Their business had grown quickly in a short time, allowing them to start a fund for deserving charities, which Lucy managed. Since she was so happy herself, increasing others’ happiness completed the circle.

She gazed at each of the men she loved.

  “What?” Kendall asked.

  “Nothing.” She smiled.

  “Nothing? Certainly, madam.”

Before she could take a breath, her clothes were stripped from her, hands and mouths were touching her everywhere and words of love were whispered. She gasped in delight. It was indeed good to be Lady Lucy.
