“I’m going out with my fiancé who is gonna enjoy taking this off later.” I licked my lips and pulled her close.
“Don’t buy no shit like this again. Damn.” My hands roamed her body.
“I won’t baby. Your child is started to grow so I won’t be able to fit anything, anyway.” When she said it and placed my hand on her stomach, we both smiled. Never in a million years did I think Robin and I wouldn’t work out but here I am with my soulmate. The woman God placed in front of me for a reason.
“You ready?” I asked and took a few pictures to keep on my phone.
“I’m ready.” I locked up and led her to the truck.
“What’s wrong?” I questioned after starting the engine.
“Just worried he’ll be there. It’s her birthday but it shouldn’t be ruined.”
“Don’t you worry your pretty head with that. We got this.” I leaned over and kissed her before pulling off. If they only knew.
************************
“I’m surprised you let her wear it.” Rodney said the second we walked in our section. Adrian was standing next to him shaking his head. Everyone was here besides Sade and Jai.
I sent Jai a message because he asked me to tell when they were so he could bring Sade. He wanted her to experience the best birthday ever.
“Better take some pictures because it’ll be the last time you see her in it.” I kissed her cheek and walked over to speak with Haven and his family.
“I like her better than Robin.” Colby’s wife Brielle said.
“Shit. So do I.” I gave her and the other women a hug and stepped in the corner with the guys.
“Everything good?” I asked and each one nodded.
“All I needed to hear.” I made my way back over to Ny and stood behind her as she looked over the railing.
“I need the bathroom. You coming?”
“Hell yea. You’re not walking anywhere alone.” She started laughing.
“Babe, is there a private bathroom? It smells in there and...” She had her face turned up.
“Yea. Come on.” I led her upstairs in one of the offices.
“Go head ma.” I tossed my phone on the desk and waited for her to finish.
“KENJI!” She shouted and I bust in the bathroom to find my fiancé standing there naked as hell with just those heels and jewelry on. I locked the door.
“You funny as hell.” I unbuttoned my pants and let them fall with my boxers.
“I can’t have you walking around horny. What kind of fiancé would I be?”
“Not a very good one. Shit Nyana.” She was in a squatting position bobbing her head up and down on my dick. There was so much slob, sucking and jerking that I couldn’t hold out.
“Mmmmm. You taste very good babe.” Her kisses trailed up my stomach and chest. I wanted to put her on my shoulders, but I’d have to go home and change because she wets me the hell up with her juices.
“I just wanna be fucked Kenji.” My man jumped when she said it.
“Make me cum.” I kissed her lips, turned her around and ran my hand up and down her spine before placing myself inside.
“Ssssss.” Her hands were gripping the sink, her head was back and eyes were closed.
“Look at me Ny.” Ever since that man violated her, I wanted her looking in my eyes during sex. It may be behind her now but it’s still sexy as fuck to stare as she’s cumming.
“Kenji don’t stop baby. Oh gawd, you feel so good.” I sucked on her neck and fucked the shit outta my future wife.
“Oh shit. We missed Jai and Sade come in.” She laughed when we heard the DJ announce them.
When we finished, I cleaned her up and the two of us walked downstairs. Some woman stood at the entrance of our section with an older gentleman. You could tell she was lost and once Nyana noticed her, I figured out who she was by the way her body tensed up.
“Why are you here?” Ny asked and folded her arms across her chest.
“It’s Sade’s birthday and we were invited.”
“By who?”
“Me.” We looked up and Sade was coming up with Jai. He had an evil ass face, but I didn’t know why until he pointed to her outfit. It was definitely short, and men were staring but he let her out the house with it.
“Why? We didn’t discuss anything.”
“It’s my birthday Nyana and if I want her here, she can be.” All of us stared at Sade and I could see the confusion on Tashi’s face as she made her way over to where we were.
“It is your birthday Sade and I don’t wanna ruin it, but you could’ve warned me about this.” Ny went to walk off.
“For what? We’re all grown here. You gave her a hug at the repast and exchanged phone numbers. I didn’t think it would be a problem.”
“I’m sorry about what he did to you at the repast. I...” I thought Ny was the damn exorcist by the way her head snapped.
“You told her?” Sade didn’t say a word.
“Nyana, I know we’ve had a strained relationship, but I never wanted him to hurt you. You have to believe me when I say...”
“Get the fuck out my face.”
“Excuse me.” Her foster mother said.
“We exchanged numbers and I spoke to you a few times, but it doesn’t mean all is forgiven. For years I was violated, and you allowed it to happen all because of some addiction to pain pills. I’m supposed to forgive you because you weren’t in the right state of mind, right?”
“I would hope so.”
“You hope so.” Ny chuckled.
“I’ll never get used to being around an older man or any man for that matter because I’ll always assume he’s watching me. I just started feeling comfortable in my fiancé’s house because of the things I’ve been through and Sade you know this.” She turned to her sister.
“I understand you want a relationship with her, she’s the only mother we both know but really?”
“Really what Nyana? It’s over and not that serious.” All of us stared at Sade; even Jai.
“Not that serious says the woman it didn’t happen to. The one who was a lot stronger than I was and even though protected me, didn’t have to deal with it. And the same person who told me all those years ago you could never forgive either of them after you beat her up in the hospital. Now here we are and you’re ok with this.” Nyana grabbed my hand.
“We got a problem here?” Ariel and Brielle both asked coming closer. I glanced over at Haven and he shrugged his shoulders. I just laughed.
“No we good ladies. Just some shady shit going on but I’m fine.” They hugged her and went to sit back down.
“Kenji, I wasn’t tryna...”
“Sade, I’m not in it but I will say no matter what relationship you may have regained with your foster mother, Nyana has been the one by your side. She never would’ve invited anyone you didn’t fuck with.”
“But she’s the only mother I know.”
“I get it and again, I’m not in it. I do think you should apologize for coming off like you don’t give a shit about her feelings.”
“I agree Sade. You made it seem like you didn’t care about the things that man did to her and she should be over it.” Tashi said and walked away. Sade looked at Jai.
“Would you be ok if Ny invited Kerron because he apologized to her? How about if she told you the abuse you went through wasn’t that serious and you should be over it?” She stared at Jai.
“Different situation, same ending.” He left her standing there and so did I. Sade was on some other shit tonight and I wasn’t about to baby her.
“You good?” I sat next to Ny and pulled her on my lap.
“As long as you’re by my side, I’ll always be.”
“You damn right.” I held her tight and felt a few tears leaving her face as they dripped on my neck. I glanced over at Sade and her eyes were in our direction.
“You wanna go?”
“What about her ex?” I smiled because regardless of how Sade hurt her, sh
e still wanted to make sure she’s good.
“He’ll never bother her again.” She looked at me.
“Don’t ask questions. You ready?” She nodded her head yes and we were out the door. I’d never expect my woman to stay somewhere she’s uncomfortable.
Once we got home, we both showered and went to sleep.
Sade
“Damn baby. You couldn’t wait until we got home?” Jai asked as I continued riding him in the front seat of the truck. We weren’t too far from the house, but I wanted it right at this moment.
My birthday was good for the most part. Nyana left the party early due to our foster mother coming and I can’t blame her. Honestly, I didn’t think it would be an issue since she told me they spoke from time to time. I guess me being happy with my life right now, I wanted the same for everyone. I’m not saying she’s not happy because we all know she is, I’m referring more to not having to deal with Kerron, who never showed up.
I was surprised to see he didn’t make some sort of scene or even send someone else in to do it. I know the police haven’t found him because they would’ve told me right away. I’m hoping my man or Kenji and his friends do soon. I hate being paranoid.
“No. Shittt. I’m ready to cum.”
“The go head.” He thrusted harder under me and seconds later both of us exploded.
“I love you Adjani Foster. I love you so much baby.” Our tongues danced together for a few minutes and we both stayed put tryna catch our breath. He kissed my lips and lifted me off so he could grab some napkins out the glove compartment.
“I know and I feel the same.” He wiped himself off and looked over at me.
“Sade, you play too damn much.” I was on my knees in the passenger seat with my ass facing him.
“Whattttt? I just want to make sure I’m comfortable.” He smacked me on the ass and stuck his face inside. I grabbed the door handle and held on for dear life as the orgasm ripped through my body.
“Now let’s go. I don’t have room in here to do what I need to.” I fell into the seat and closed my eyes. By the time we got home, he had to carry me in because my legs were very weak.
“You should’ve told Ny and let her make the decision if she wanted to be around. It felt like an ambush and you pretended not to care.” He said after showering together.
“I’ll call her tomorrow and apologize.” I snuggled up under him and went straight to sleep. It was so peaceful with him and I’m glad he never switched up.
***********************
“WHAT THE HELL?” I shouted as we entered this warehouse. Jai mentioned taking me somewhere to get my last birthday gift. He had given me so much; I didn’t need anything else.
WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! I watched this woman use an extension cord to hit a naked and hanging upside down Kerron. I mean she was tearing his ass up. Blood was seeping out his skin and the whelps were disgusting.
“Sade, help me.” I turned to Jai.
“Is he crazy? Did he really just ask me for help?” My fiancé started laughing.
“Sade, meet Mrs. Baker; Kerron ex-wife and this is her husband Chief Baker.” Kenji introduced us and he shook my hand. Meanwhile, Mrs. Baker was still beating the crap outta Kerron.
“But how? Where did you find him? Jai did you know about this?” He wrapped his hands around my waist.
“This was another one of your birthdays presents but after last night, you needed a break.” I turned around.
“I swear you make me fall deeper and deeper in love with you every day.” He smiled, handed me a long switch made like a branch and told me to have at it.
I walked over and swung it so hard, I didn’t realize there were thorns in it until I pricked myself. I dropped it and picked up this metal bat next to the chair and started swinging. I noticed Mrs. Baker backed away and I’m sorry to say, I continued.
I hit Kerron all over his body and swung a few times at his head. Kenji walked over and had me put some gloves on before touching this spray bottle. He told me to use it from a distance and make sure it didn’t touch me. I had no idea what was in it.
I sprayed it on the side of Kerron’s face and almost vomited when it began to peel the skin off. He was screaming like a maniac.
“What is this?” I asked.
“Acid. I used it on Lizzie. It works wonders and it’s 100% guarantee that he won’t survive it.” I nodded and finished spraying until his body was just about gone. It was disgusting; yet satisfying. All I could think about was the paranoia going away and not walking around with security. It’s going to feel so good being able to live free.
“How did you find him?” I asked Haven who was helping me take the gloves off so I wouldn’t make a mistake and the acid touch me.
“He was sleeping with the mayor’s daughter.”
“Really?”
“Yea. At first, she wouldn’t say anything, but his anger got the best of him and he started hooking off on her. Her father found out and told her he didn’t care if she were pregnant or not, if she didn’t turn him over, he’d cut her off for good.”
“Please don’t tell me she’s pregnant by Kerron.”
“Nah. She’s a ho and probably don’t know who her baby daddy is.” I shook my head.
“Anyway, he owed Kenji a few favors and this was one. Kenji didn’t wanna leave Nyana and sent me the address to get him.”
“Wow!”
“Yup. That’s my nigga and if he needs me, I’m there and vice versa.” He took the stuff and walked away. I looked around and noticed everyone leaving except Ms. Baker.
“I just want to apologize.” She said.
“Apologize? For what?”
“If I were strong enough at the time, he would’ve been locked up and none of this would’ve happened.”
“I don’t blame you. Your son comes first, and I would have done the same.” I honestly told her and we gave each other a hug.
“I’m just happy he won’t be around to do it to anyone else”
“True.” The two of us walked outside and all the guys were standing there smoking except her husband but he was engaged in the conversation.
“You ready to go?” Jai asked and led me to the truck.
“I am and Jai.”
“What up babe.” He helped me get in.
“Thank you again for saving me and not giving up. Anyone else would’ve left a woman in this situation.”
“I’m not anyone and I could never leave you.” We stood there kissing for a few minutes.
“Let’s go home and finish what we were doing last night.” I smiled and grabbed his hand. I could now live free.
Epilogue
Sade and Adjani were married in a small ceremony a month after Kerron met his demise. Sade did go over and apologize to Nyana for not respecting boundaries and bringing Mrs. Simpson around without asking how she felt. She does have a relationship with her foster mother, but she won’t allow her son to be alone with her and no one blamed her. Jai would never allow it anyway.
Rodney and Adrian adopted a little girl and she was a newborn too. The mother was a teenager and had dropped the baby off to a safe haven at the local fire house. The worked contacted Rodney and he jumped on it right away. You can’t tell him shit about raising his baby. Jasir is a great big brother to her and has even been so attached to Rodney, Adrian can barely discipline him. Those two finally said their vows at Rodney’s parents’ house a few months ago and they were living the life.
Last but not least, Kenji and Nyana welcomed their baby girl and the two of them couldn’t be happier. She did allow his mom to throw the baby shower and to say it was over the top is putting it lightly. Nyana didn’t mind because she expected his mom to be extra with it. They were married four months after their daughter was born and he was already working on baby number two. He told her its only right to get her pregnant on the honeymoon, talking about its tradition.
Everyone got their happy ending but remember, not every man or woman in a relationsh
