Destructive Luxe_A Luxe Novel Book 2 Page 30

by H. Q. Frost

"Okay." She sniffled and he began to feel guilty for making her cry.

Lilith ran her finger over her cleavage and Ian glanced at the door seeing it was locked.

"Mrs. Luxe told you she had an opportunity coming up for you. You'll be making the money you were when this hits."

  "Okay." She sniffled again.

"And in the meantime you can continue with casual dates and casual sex."

  "Okay, Mr. J."

Ian hung up the phone without saying another word and he lunged forward to kiss Lilith, but she pulled back.

"No kissing," she quietly said and rubbed her glossy lips together. "Sit down." She pushed him back into his chair and got on top of his desk, crawling over the paperwork.

He wanted to grab her and slam her to the desk while burying himself inside her, but he sat back and watched. Her legs spread open and she reached forward grabbing his tie, pulling him to stand. A pleased hum vibrated from her as she dropped his pants and began stroking him with both hands. He maintained eye contact until she slid to the edge of his desk and guided him inside her. He exhaled deeply and she dropped her head back.

He fought against the animal inside him, wanting to take her fast and hard. He slid in as deep as he could, watching her mouth open before she ran her tongue over her lips. He wanted his mouth on hers to express what he was feeling. His 'I need you, please don't leave me' kiss was held back, needing her lips. The aggravation he couldn't kiss her began to come out in the rocking of his hips. Forceful thrusts almost sunk him to the hilt but it wasn't subsiding the fervor.

"Slow down," she breathed. "I'm going to gush if you don't stop."

He grabbed her waist, not slowing the pumping of his hips.

"Ian," she breathed, trying to slow him.

His head dropped down so she couldn't see the panic on his face and he continued to thrust fervently.

That was when she realized something wasn't right and she sat up, grabbing his face. "Ian." The concern in her voice didn't slow his pounding. "Ian, look at me. Stop." She put her hand to his stomach, firmly stopping the rocking. "Baby," she softly said.

When he looked up at her, she gasped staring into his face that expressed he was hopelessly lost.

"Baby." She kissed him lightly, apprehensive to smear her lipstick. "What is it?" Her forehead pressed to his and he panted, trying to calm down from the ravish fucking.

"I can't lose you." The perilous plea made her slide off the desk and push her skirt down.

"Baby." Soft kisses pressed to his lips. "You will never lose me." It killed her that she was the cause of his desolation. She held him tightly. "Why don't we skip Barbados? We'll get married at the courthouse. We don't need to go to Barbados."

"No." He lifted his head from her shoulder. "No, I'm going to give you a wedding." He kissed her cheek.

"I don't care about that, Ian. You know I don't."

"You'll look back one day and regret not having some sort of wedding. I want to share with some of the world that you're mine."

"No one matters but us, Ian. I know I'm yours and you know you're mine." She ran her nose along his. "I love you more than anything. You have to know that."

"I do." His unconvincing tone made her frown.

"Mr. J?" Tash buzzed into his office.

  "Yes, Tash?"

"I can't find Mrs. Luxe and I have a very irate Bob Grace on the phone. He wants to speak with you. I've been trying to make him happy, but he wants to speak to you."

  "Put him through."

When the phone started to ring, Lilith touched his face, staring him in the eyes. "I only love you."

  "I know." He kissed her.

After wiping her gloss from his lips, she left his office.

Entering her office she said, "I was in with Ian talking him out of firing Tanya."

"I'm sorry, Lily. I tried finding you. I didn't know you were in there." Tash's flushed face had Lilith hurrying to her side.

  "It's okay. Hey, what's wrong?"

Tash began to cry and buried her face in her hands. Lilith rolled her eyes just wishing one day would go smoothly around there, or in her life in general. She put her arms around Tash and squatted down.

"He was so mean, Lily," Tash cried. "I don't know how you do it."

"You should have buzzed Ian sooner. He still does own the place. We're not keeping anything from him, we're just trying to lighten his load. Never take that abuse. We don't need him as a client. The customer is not always right." She rubbed Tash's back.

"Lily." Richie stepped into her office with Joanna at his back.

"Just a minute, Richie," Lilith said, blocking Tash from his view.

Tash hurried to clear the tears from her face and smiled at Lilith before leaving the office.

"Come in." Lilith looked at the time seeing it was after five and she needed to leave. She shut down her computer then looked up. "Joanna, go ask Veronica for something to clean my desk with, please." She looked over her sparkling desk and smirked. "How'd everything go today?" She smiled at Richie.

"Good." He nodded. "Can I ask you something?" he said quietly and leaned his hands on her desk. "Do you think a dude like me could ever take out a girl like Tash?" he whispered.

Lilith smiled. "I think it's possible, Richie. Why don't you give it a few more days before you go asking for dates though."

Joanna returned with wipes and she cleaned the desk without Lilith needing to ask.

"Richie, empty the trash bags." Lilith plucked hers from the wastebasket and tied it closed.

"So what's up tonight, Lily? We hangin' out?" Joanna sat in the chair.

"I have plans." Lilith feigned disappointment. "Maybe you should go home tonight? Ian can pick you back up tomorrow."

In a pathetic voice Joanna said, "I don't want to go home."

"Why?" Lilith sat, expecting a crazy story about her parents.

"I'm afraid if I leave you won't bring me back," Joanna admitted with a pitiful look on her face.

"Jo." Lilith rolled her eyes. "I want you to work here and you went to the clinic, right?"

"Yeah, I did." She seemed disturbed by the event.

"Good, we'll get results Monday. Look, go home, take Richie. I'll have Ian pick you guys up tomorrow, okay? You two stay in the apartment this weekend."

  "Where will you be?"

  "I'm going to Canada."

"I don't think Ian likes me."

"He likes you." She rolled her eyes, putting her cellphone in her purse.

  "How will we get home?"

"I'll have a driver take you."

After a call to Tony to take them home, Lilith rushed through the lobby.

"Ian," Lilith called to him, seeing him standing at the front desk. "I have to go." She was digging through her purse.

"Have a good time." He touched her elbow.

"Thanks. Text me with any problems and I'll have my phone on all weekend, girls." Lilith looked up at Tash and Veronica. "Don't hesitate to call or text. Tash, be at my apartment by seven?"

  "Ok." Tash grinned excitedly.

"Richie, Tony is waiting downstairs for you and Joanna, he's going to take you home for the night and I'll send a driver for you tomorrow around—" Lilith glanced at Ian. "Five?" She was questioning him but looking at Richie so the girls didn't pick up on it.

"Cool. Should I bring more of my stuff? Like am I gonna be here a while?"

"If everything goes okay you'll at least be here through next week."

"Thanks, Lily." He hugged her tightly and she pushed him back.

"See everyone Monday. Except you." Lilith pointed to Tash. "See you in an hour." She grinned and winked, walking to the elevator.

Ian watched her walk away; Joanna and Tash both watched Ian. Without making eye contact with anyone, he turned on his heel and walked to his office. Picking up his phone he text Richie.

IAN: I'll be there at five sharp. Text me an address.

He stared at his phone wanting to text Lilith but knew she was in a hurry
and probably rushing to get ready. He hoped she was going to change into something baggy and ugly. Even his stupid thought made him laugh a little, until Joanna stepped into the doorway of his office. He forced a smile.

"Ian, I just wanted to say thank you," she said in a small voice that irked him.

"Yeah, no problem." He nodded, wanting her to go away.

"I just need a little boost, ya know?"

"Lily's a good person, Joanna. She'll help you any way she can."

"Yeah." She stared at his door a minute. "She really is."

"Okay, just remember what we talked about, about our personal lives."

"I know." She smiled. "See you tomorrow," she quietly said and waved before walking away.

Ian pinched the bridge of his nose.

Ashley showed up at Lilith's apartment for the concert, appearing in the bathroom out of nowhere.

"Ashley!" Lilith yelped with a jump while Ashley cracked up at her accomplished task. "How'd you get in here?"

  She held up a key.

"You're a crazed stalker." Lilith grinned.

"You're a sexy bitch. What's with the hair, freaky freak?"

"Freak?" Lilith looked at her worried.

"It's hot." Her fingers slid through Lilith's hair. "I love it actually. At first I was like whoa, but now I'm like mmmm."

  Lilith grinned. "I was drunk."

"Wow, that's all it takes for you to do something crazy?" She raised her eyebrows with a smirk.

"It's not crazy, Ashley." Lilith rolled her eyes, walking out of the bathroom naked. "I don't know what to wear."

"I heard you were wearing a sexy little number earlier."

"Who told you? Why are you so stalker today?" Lilith laughed.

"Caesar called and thought you were out for some vengeance because you seemed like you were in a dominating the world with sex trance."

"That's ridiculous!" She searched through her the closet before looking at Ashley for help. "I really don't know what to wear."

"This looks good." Ashley looked her over then noticed the cuts on her arm. Wanting to forget about what she saw, she quickly moved on. "Uh, just wear something you'll be comfortable in. Pants or skirt?" She was impervious to the cruel world and wished Lilith could adapt the same mentality. "Take this." She reached in her bag pulling out a pill bottle then held out a yellow pill.

"Last time I took a pill I dyed my hair black." Lilith giggled. "What is it?"

"E." Ashley pushed the pill into her mouth.

  "What will I feel like?"

"Good." She grinned devilishly. "Get dressed."

When she exited, Lilith closed the bedroom door, unable to stop thinking about Ian. The look on his face when they were having sex on his desk kept flashing through her head.

"Ian Jacks," he answered his cellphone.

  "Is now a bad time?"

"No, not at all." He spoke in his business tone.

"Are you okay, baby?" she asked quietly.

  "Just fine."

"Ian, I'm serious. I'm worried about you."

  "Don't be."

"I can't help it. I should be home with you. I should be taking care of you."

Remaining all business he chuckled. "No. It's fine."

"It's not fine! If something is bothering you, it's bothering me. I love you, Ian. I don't like when you're stressed or worried."

"After this afternoon I feel much better about the deal." It was a lie.

  "You promise me?"

  "Of course."

"I'm not going anywhere, ever. You and me forever, baby."

"I certainly hope so. That's the way I'm looking at it."

Lilith chuckled at his maintained professionalism. "I love you."

"Oh." He chuckled. "You have no idea."

  "Say it," she teased.

"Actually, at the moment I'm in a meeting but I'll get back to you on that, definitely. It's a firm yes. I do. At monumental measures."

Lilith laughed loudly and he grinned. "I love you, beautiful fiancé. See you later."

"Bye." He hung up grinning in love.

In her bedroom putting her boots on, Lilith felt the minute the pill kicked in. She grinned and opened the door, stopping when she heard Justin's voice.

"Her ring is beautiful," Tash said to him.

"Whose?" The confusion in his voice had Lilith hurrying down the hall.

  "Lily's engagement ring."

"Her engagement ring—" He paused seeing Lilith round the corner with her hand in air and pointing to the ring. "Is just a cheap little thing." He cockily smirked. "I can do better than that."

  Tash cocked her eyebrow.

"Hi!" Lilith boasted and Tash spun around.

"Lily!" she squealed and grabbed her into a hug. "You look so hot."

"You do too." Lilith giggled. "I love this." Her hand skimmed Tash's shirt before she smiled at Justin and said, "Hi." Her dilated pupils gave away she was on something.

"Hi." He too smiled, though it bothered him she was inebriated. She leaned into him, kissing the side of his mouth. "I bought something today."

  "Are you thirsty?" Lilith giggled.

  "No."

  "Tash?"

"No thanks, Lily." Tash grinned excitedly.

  "Where's Ashley?"

"She's on the phone in the hall." Justin pointed to the door.

"Come tell me what you bought." She grabbed his hand, pulling him into the kitchen while she got a bottle of water.

"What'd you take?" he quietly asked with a laugh to disguise the disapproval.

  "Ecstasy."

He nodded his head and pushed her hair back, leaning into her lips, kissing her like he wanted when all she offered was a peck on the corner of his mouth. Her nails ran over his scalp as she hummed her approval. Pulling away, Lilith began downing the water.

  "The blonde's coming?" he asked.

"Her name is Tash. She's my personal assistant."

"Where's Jacks? Why isn't he going with you tonight?"

"He was never invited." She shrugged walking back into the dining room where Tash sat on her phone.

"Lily, Richie said he has a potential buyer on your car already." Tash smiled at her.

  "What car?" Justin asked.

  "My BMW. That's awesome news."

  "You're selling your BMW?"

"I got a new car, remember?" She glanced at him then back at Tash.

"I didn't know you had to sell your BMW." He wasn't letting her talk to Tash and it was starting to get on her nerves.

"I don't have to sell it, but I could use the money and I really can't drive two cars, can I?" She faced him.

"You seem to like two of everything."

Tash stared at them, finding it odd he didn't know she was selling her car.

He glared at Lilith and she stared back but her stern look was hidden behind her wide black eyes.

"Tash." Lilith quickly spun to look at her. "Do you do drugs?"

"Uh." Tash shifted uncomfortably. "I like-uh, what?"

"I meant do you want some drugs?" The question was presented seriously but seconds later Lilith burst into laughter.

Justin was distracted from the two giggling girls when Ashley came through the door.

"Lilith, I just got us a fuckin' suite, baby. All for free!" She too was high with dilated pupils and giggly.

Lilith high-fived her and they laughed again. "Give one to Tash."

Ashley looked at Tash. "You want one?"

"What is it?" Her eyes shifted from Lilith to Ashley back and forth.

"Justin?" Lilith asked as Ashley gave Tash a pill.

He put his arms out shaking his head no.

"You sure?" She approached him and forced herself into his arms then began running her hand up and down his torso.

He felt amazing, everything felt amazing to touch and be touched. He laughed at her, knowing what she was experiencing and softly ran his fingers across the back of her neck. When her eyes rolled back as she closed them he could have fu
cked her right there on the table but his audience nixed that.

  "We gotta go," Ashley announced.

"I'm driving," Justin quickly said pulling his keys from his pocket. "Which of you three was gonna drive?" he asked when they got on the elevator.

"Didn't think about that." Ashley laughed causing the girls to follow suit.

"Oh boy," Justin muttered with a smirk but kept his gaze on the ground.

As they got into his jeep, Ashley said, "We're supposed to meet Caesar in the parking lot. He's with two other friends that I don't know, which I find really weird. Who the fuck does he know that I don't know? I know everyone he knows," she rambled.

Justin laughed, really regretting his decision to go with them, but told himself things would be better once they were at the concert and he couldn't hear them.

The girls didn't stop talking and when Tash's pill kicked in they took turns running their fingers across each other's arms until they would burst into laughter.

"I see Caesar's fat ass!" Ashley excitedly shouted. "Drop us over there," she told Justin who was more than happy to oblige.

Lilith got out to help the other two girls before climbing back in.

  "Where you going?" Ashley asked.

"I'm gonna park with him. We'll meet up in a few minutes."

"You don't have to come with me."

"But I want to." She glanced at him.

Finding the first available spot a good distance from where he dropped the girls, he parked.

"You gonna get out?" He chuckled at her.

"Touch me," she said climbing into his lap.

He watched her face as he ran his fingers up and down her outer thighs. Pushing open her coat, he let his mouth explore her neck and chest. The purr of her moans filled the jeep and he couldn't stop himself from taking her hand and placing it on his erection.

"Oh god," she moaned. "Fuck me, Justin."

Hair was falling into her face, her lips looked more swollen than usual, her huge black eyes held fictitious innocence. It was all too messily perfect to deny.

"Are you sure?" he breathed while her hand stroked through his jeans.

"I want you so bad. I can't wait anymore." Her tongue delved into his mouth while both her hands worked to unzip him.

He glanced around before pulling himself from his pants. That wasn't how he wanted to experience her for the first time, but he'd been waiting since the day he met the girl to bury himself inside her.
