He is very good at the chocolate cake one. Nick has been writing stories since he could count and loves every minute of it.

SOFIE LAGUNA was born in 1968 in Sydney. She studied to be a lawyer, but after deciding law was not for her, she trained as an actor. Sofie is now an author, actor and playwright. Sofie’s first novel for adults, One Foot Wrong, was long-listed for the Miles Franklin Award and shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award.

Sofie’s many books for young people have been named Honour Books and Notable Books in the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards and have been shortlisted in the Queensland Premier’s Awards.   R.A. SPRATT is the author of The Adventures of Nanny Piggins. This is a nine-book series about an impossibly glamorous flying pig who ran away from a circus to become a childcare worker and who flagrantly ignores all contemporary theories about healthy eating.

R.A. Spratt is currently writing the sixth instalment of the Friday Barnes detective series. Her favourite bit about being a mystery writer is getting hate tweets from exasperated readers who claim to be dying of frustration due to the cliffhanger endings.

R.A. has written for 32 different television shows. Even she has trouble remembering what they were all called.

R.A. Spratt lives in Bowral, Australia with her husband and two daughters. She has a dog, three chickens and five goldfish, and her next-door neighbour’s cat thinks it lives in her house. For more information, visit raspratt.com
