  Vordosha: This is the territory controlled by the Konigar and is the only Vordoshan settlement on the mainland. Technically Vordosha also includes the Isle of Vorder and the surrounding Islands, but these are governed by the Jurtans. There is a Palace of the Jurtans where the Jurtans and/or their representatives stay when visiting Vindhela. The Vordoshan fleet holds undisputed mastery of the Northern Caruk Ocean. Sigil is a golden trident crossed with a lightning bolt on a purple field. [first referred to in Escape of the Concubines]

  Warden: (honorific) See March Lord

  Ward: 1. See glyphs 2. Caretaker of an individual as a political hostage, to seal a political alliance, and/or for purposes of education and training. [first referred to in Curse of the Lianshi]

  Warren of Arkenheim: Warren B’tal, uncle to the High King, Mage-Lord of Arkenheim, Battle-Mage and Mage-Smith. The highest ranking general in what was once the Army of Light. [first referred to in Escape of the Concubines]

  The Water Cloak: A cloak made with elemental properties from the water forge, the water cloak among other unknown abilities, allows the wearer to be completely invisible, even to mage-sight. [first alluded to in Escape of the Concubines]

  Well of Souls: The hidden location of the Water Forge made by the Mage-Smith, Duncan B’tal. [first referred to in Escape of the Concubines]

  Western Kingdoms: The seat of the western high king sits in the Valley of Kings in the fortress of Cibola. In the absence of a high king, the west is ruled by independent kingdoms who come together in times of threat in a council called the Conclave. The conclave consists of three great houses: The House of Gabrihil (Eisenberg); The House of B’tal (Medrigor); and the House of Corth (Corth). [first referred to in Escape of the Concubines]

  Wraith Riders: Also referred to simply as wraiths, they are a secret society of women known to be associated with Arkenheim who are trained in both combat and espionage. They serve the city of Arkenheim in times of war as their spies, scouts and couriers. They are known for never revealing their identity and in all of their time of service, never being caught. [first referred to in Escape of the Concubines]
