  Who was he to resist?

He upped the pace and was rewarded with more cries and moans. He could feel her pussy muscles start to flutter and knew she wasn’t far from peaking. He twisted his fingers and fucked her with them hard while he pushed his tongue down on her clit.

She came for him, crying out his name more than once and jerking as he continued to lightly flick her clit as the last spasms of her orgasm washed over her.

“My turn,” she said, and she stood, clasping his shoulders and pushing his willing body down on the bench.

  Chapter 20

Mary could hardly believe that her two men asked her to masturbate in front of them, and that she had actually done it.

It made her feel awkward and almost ashamed, but they clearly liked it, and if she delved deeper into her feelings, it turned her on. Not the act, well, partially the act, but more the expression on their faces. Their pupils dilated and their jaws clenched and the muscles on their necks stood out a bit more.

She could see Derek’s cock pulse, as Logan’s had last night.

When he stroked himself, it aroused her. So why shouldn’t her pleasing herself arouse the men?

Now, she had Derek seated in the shower, his hard cock jutting up from between his legs. She knelt in front of him, mimicking his earlier actions.

  “You’re beautiful, Mary,” he said.

“You’re not bad yourself,” she teased back. Sobering, she added, “You’re absolutely gorgeous.”

She reached forward and fondled his balls with one hand while she pumped his shaft with the other. Now it was Derek’s turn to grip the seat as she toyed with him.

His cock was so hard that Mary wondered that it wasn’t painful. How the human body could get that rigid without a bone she would never know. Enjoying the feel of him, she leaned down and enveloped the head with her mouth.

Rewarded with a hiss and jerk of his hips, she tongued him, swirling around the head and sucking in the salty liquid seeping from his head. She continued to play with his balls as she moved her head up and down on his shaft, using her hand on what she couldn’t get into her mouth.

He was big, and she couldn’t take all of him. Mary had never learned to deep throat a guy, but she was starting to see the appeal now. If she could get him all the way down into her esophagus, he might lose his mind.

“Oh God, Mary. Please stop.” Derek made a strangled noise in his throat. “Seriously. Shit, Mary!”

Derek grabbed her shoulders and pulled her off his cock. He was panting as he spoke. “I don’t want to come in your mouth, as heavenly as it is.” He lifted her to her feet. “Here.”

Derek positioned her so that she was bent over, her hands on the seat and her ass in the air, with him standing behind her.

  Mary shivered with delightful anticipation.

Derek slid his cock through her folds, teasing her as he brushed the head against her clit. Mary couldn’t help but moan.

“That’s right, sunshine. I’m not sure who wants my cock in your pussy more—me or you.”

Mary heard the crinkle of a wrapper, and then Derek was sliding his sheathed cock into her. God, he felt good. Better than good. The feeling of him stretching and filling her was exquisite. He did it slowly so she could feel every millimeter of his length.

When he was finally all the way inside, he paused. “You have no idea how good you feel. You’re slick and tight, and you grip me like nothing else has. I can feel every little ripple of your muscles, can feel how they tighten to keep me inside as I pull out to thrust in again.” He demonstrated.

“Please, Derek. Fuck me.” Mary tried to thrust back against him. She desperately needed to have him move that big dick of his. She couldn’t ever recall feeling as aroused, needy, and deeply engaged in sex before being with the Murray brothers.

  “Yes, sunshine.”

He began to fuck her deep and fast, as though he couldn’t hold back. He held on to her hips and pounded her pussy. Mary could feel the tension coiling in her belly. Her arms began to shake as her orgasm loomed closer.

Derek reached around and put pressure on her clit with his fingers. That was enough.

Her orgasm bloomed through her, gentler but no less intense. Pleasure slid through every nerve and muscle in her body from her channel outward. It was as though Derek’s hands were everywhere at the same time, loving and cherishing her. She cried out, but it, too, was a softer exclamation of pleasure.

Derek slammed into her one last time, and she could feel his cock jerk as he came. No gentle cry of culmination from him—he roared like a lion. Giving her a few last thrusts, he pulled out and pulled her to him.

“You’re incredible, sunshine.” He pulled her under the spray and rinsed her, chuckling a little when she jerked as he touched her still sensitive clit.

She sniffed. “Not funny,” she fake-whined.

“I know,” he said with equally fake sympathy.

They managed to get Mary to work on time. The store wasn’t overly busy, so Mary did some of Karen’s books at one of the cafe tables while Marg looked after the customers and stocked the shelves.

It was pleasant until Mary checked her email.

First there was an issue at work that her temporary replacement, Angela, couldn’t handle. A case the firm had taken on needed some forensic work done, and Angela had no experience with forensics. Mary sighed and had Angela email all the details to her so she could work on it. Thank goodness she had the foresight to arrange that she would bill the firm by the hour for any work she did.

There was also a ranting email from Bob. She didn’t even know why she opened it. She was pretty sure he had written it while drunk. There were a lot of spelling and grammar errors, and the tone was pretty nasty overall. He alternated from berating her for being another “whore like your sister, taking up with the Murray brothers” to begging her to return to him because she “you will never get a better man than me.” How had he even found out about Derek and Logan?

The final email was basically a threat from her mother. Parts of it read:

It is so unfortunate that you continue to throw away your future at the firm. Your talents are wasted in a nothing town like Hardwick Bay. There is no opportunity there for you to advance in the world of accounting or forensic accounting.

Bob is lost without you. It is a shame to see him so bereft due to your poor judgment. His work is suffering, as are other aspects of his life.

I had planned to join both of you at the firm, but now must reconsider.

  And the worst:

I was speaking to an expert in family law at a cocktail party last week and mentioned Karen’s “marriage.” He thought that it might be illegal under Canadian law to be married in the fashion that was detailed to me by you. She did not state publicly which man she married, thus it is likely null and void. It would be a shame if this were ever pursued in court.

In typical side-speaking LeeAnn talk, that meant if you don’t go back to the firm, marry Bob, and grease the wheels for my employment there, I’m going to ruin Karen’s marriage.

Mary felt sick. She felt the churn of acid in her belly, splashing up into her throat, like it did when the ulcer had made her life miserable. The intensity of the stabbing, burning pain in her belly just barely beat out the stabbing pain in her heart.

Her own mother was blackmailing her. Mary knew in LeeAnn’s mind, it was for Mary’s own good. Her mother was determined to see Mary follow her parents’ version of success, come hell or high water.

Mary had given her the details of the marriage to do it, even though she thought she was telling her mother the story of the beautiful love between Allan, Zander, and Karen.

And LeeAnn was doing it in a way that no one would be able to track since she never actually said she would set the legal dogs on Karen if Mary didn’t capitulate. She was too smart for that. But Mary knew.

Mary had enough. In that moment, something in her switched over from capitulation to fighter.

There was no way that Mary was going to let their mother ruin Karen’s marriage. All for what? A stupid job in a law firm? That was the prize that was worth her own children’s happiness?

  Sick. Fucking sick.

Mary called the local lawyer, Eric Roberts, and left a message begging for a meeting on Monday. She had met with him a few weeks ago discussing her accounting skills. He was interested in hiring her for an upcoming case that he needed some forensic accounting done. It didn’t sound too strenuous, but his arguments would carry more weight if he had her skills and qualifications backing them up. She prayed he would be able to help with Karen’s marriage.

She then composed an email to her mother. She didn’t commit to returning, or taking Bob back, but she made it sound sufficiently wishy-washy, pretending she wasn’t having much success in Hardwick Bay and wanted to return. It was all crap, but she hoped it would placate her mother while she tried to sort out Karen’s marriage legalities.

And she sure as hell wasn’t going to let Karen know. Her sister was still in honeymoon bliss after being married for a few weeks, and Mary hoped she never left it. Karen’s happiness was deeply important to Mary, and if Mary could solve this mess before Karen found out and stressed about it, that would be ideal.

It was Mary’s fault that their mother had targeted Karen in such a despicable way, so she was damn well going to fix it.

She tried to be cheery with Logan and Derek, but they knew something was up with her. Thank goodness they thought it was because of her mysterious tire slasher. She felt pretty guilty for letting them believe that, but she was not going to tell them about the emails she received.

Still, they managed to spend a pleasant evening together, having dinner and watching some TV. Nestling into bed together later felt strangely normal, as though this was something she did every night and would do forever more. Scary.

Monday was a blustery day. It fit her mood, cloudy and windy. She managed a meeting with the lawyer, and he promised to look into the marriage. He was pretty sure it was legal but was willing to check into it for her. The paperwork was all in order for sure, but it was possible that there was a real requirement to publicly and clearly stating aloud which man was Karen’s legal husband. With Karen saying the exact same vows to each man, that was not clear in the ceremony.

Eric reassured Mary that more than likely all was well. After all, she could have been married in a private ceremony with the Justice of the Peace and just never told the public at large which man she was married to. As long as the witnesses knew, it should be fine. That didn’t preclude LeeAnn from making a big stink and pursuing legal action, though. She could certainly bring a lot of unwanted attention to Hardwick Bay and their unconventional lifestyles. It was in the best interests of the rest of the ménage-happy town to double-check the legalities, and it would give Mary peace of mind.

When she returned to the shop later in the day, Karen was there with Hanna, Cailynn, and Lisa.

  “It’s hockey night,” Hanna announced.

“So?” said Mary. “It’s November. There’s hockey on TV every night pretty much.”

“No, the local men’s team is playing tonight. We thought we’d cheer them on.” Lisa sipped her cappuccino.

“We try to show up and cheer them on a couple of times a season. You know, so they think we care about their stupid sports.” Cailynn rolled her eyes. “Well, we care, but we don’t care the same way they do,” she amended.

“So what does this all entail then?” Mary asked.

“Well, the guys drop us off here when they head to the rink, we load up on the hot beverage of your choice, and then we head over to the rink and cheer them on. Sometimes we even cheer at the correct times,” Hanna said wryly.

“Then we come back for another round while the guys shower, change, and shoot the shit in the dressing room,” Karen finished. “They’re so hyped up from playing, they act like Neanderthals when they pick us up. I don’t know about the rest of you, but my two have said they will definitely put out later, too.”

Cailynn giggled. “We have a deal going regarding the number of goals scored and the number of orgasms I get.”

“Are you the same sweet, quiet little thing that came here last spring?” asked Hanna, pretending to stagger in shock.

“Look who I work with,” Cailynn shot back.

“Why don’t you, Derek, and Logan come by our house for dinner?” Karen asked Mary. “We can load the guys up on their carbs then walk over here.”

“That sounds good. I’ll text them.” Mary sent them a quick message and got a quick reply from both. “They’re in. I’ll head over to your place after the store closes and help you with dinner.”

Well after dinner, with the requisite beverages on board, the women walked over to the arena.

It was an old-style community arena with a small amount of stadium seating beside the ice surface in the middle. There was some glass around the boards and netting at either end. Mary and the rest of them trooped in and took seats on the top tier well above where the glass ended. They clutched their hot drinks and huddled together in their winter coats and scarves. The arena was cold, and the seating area was not heated.

There was a lot of laughter among the women, and Mary was really enjoying herself. Karen’s friends were great people and seemed to have accepted Mary as part of the ménage crowd. A lot of the laughter and catcalls were fuelled by the judicious addition of various liqueurs to the hot beverages. Not that any of them were completely drunk. They were just a little louder than usual.

As far as Mary could tell, the team was doing great. They were up by two goals by the time the third period rolled around. The only sad part was that everyone’s beverage was running low. Karen pointed out this was the reason for the additional stop at the store after the game.

Mary leaned toward Hanna, who was trying to explain the offside rule to her. As Hanna pointed to the ice surface and gestured, they turned and Mary heard someone scream, “Watch out!”

  Chapter 21

  Pain exploded in Mary’s face.

She was vaguely aware of something black heading toward her, and then it hurt.

It hurt more than she could have imagined. Worse than the hot coal-burning pain of the ulcer, this was a stabbing firestorm. It started at her nose, radiated to her eyes, and enveloped the rest of her face and head in an instant.

The edges of her world turned black, and Mary fought to stay conscious. There was no way she could stop the tears streaming from her eyes. They blurred her vision and mixed with the wetness already on her face.

Her nose was on fire and felt five times as large as it should be. She couldn’t breathe through it. She was pretty sure it was bleeding from the salty, metallic tang in her mouth.

“You’ll be okay, Mary. An ambulance is on the way.” Derek’s voice was strong but strained.

“Don’t try to talk, sunshine.” Logan was on her other side. “Karen will go with you, and we’ll change and be right there. We promise.”

Mary was able to focus on them and realized that they were still in full hockey gear. She didn’t remember hearing them come off the ice.

The paramedics strapped her into the stretcher with a cold pack on her nose, and Karen rode with them on the very brief trip to the hospital. Hardwick Bay was a small town, but it did have a hospital that served it and several of the surrounding small towns.

The doctor in emergency checked her over and pronounced a broken nose, possible minor concussion, and that she was well on her way to two of the best black eyes he had ever seen. Mary tried to smile at that, but it hurt her face too much.

The break in her nose was minor, though it didn’t feel that way. Fortunately the surgeon on call was able to deal with the uncomplicated fracture. They gave her a brief general anesthetic and set the nose. The doctor said it was much better to deal with the break quickly rather than try to correct any deformity later.

It must have been a long night at the hospital
. Derek, Logan, and Karen wouldn’t leave her, and Allan and Zander wouldn’t leave Karen. It didn’t seem quite so long for Mary, as she was asleep with the anesthetic for a good portion of it. When they discharged her the next morning, she was still sleepy.

“I’m sorry to cause you all so much trouble,” she said to them. Except, of course, it came out as a mangled mess with her non-functional nose.

“Wow,” said Karen admiringly when they wheeled her out. “You look amazingly bad.”

  Allan smacked her arm.

“No, I’m serious. That is amazing. If I ever wanted to get back into our parents’ good graces, all I would have to do is send them a photo of Mary right now.” Karen laughed. “You know I would never do it though, right?”

At Mary’s nod, she continued. “I really do think we should get at least one photo for posterity. It’s truly impressive.” She snapped a photo with her cell, and Mary gamely tried to smile. “You know, we could decorate your nose bandages with sparkly stars. I might even have some at the store to decorate packages.”

Allan and Zander grabbed her arms. “Get some rest and we hope you feel better. We might come by later to cheer you up, but for now, we’ll get rid of your annoying sister,” Zander said as they dragged her away.

“C’mon, Mary.” Logan took command of the chair, and Derek walked quickly ahead to go get the truck. “Let’s go home, and you can get some sleep.”

They took her back to the house, and Mary swallowed a couple of the painkillers the doctor prescribed and passed out.

When she woke, the room wasn’t dark, but it wasn’t really bright either. She guessed it was sometime in the afternoon. Funny, she couldn’t seem to focus really well on the clock at the side of the bed, and there were spots floating around in space.

She crawled out and went to the washroom, where she took care of a few needs, which included brushing her teeth. Her mouth felt like a swamp thanks to the anesthetic. She made her way to the main room and wandered into the kitchen.
