“Nah, I need to leave my mom something to get me for Christmas,” she replied.

“Thank you for everything. You’re the best friend I’ve ever had,” Sarah signed, and then hugged Kimberly.

“Kimberly Hart, you can’t get away from me so easily,” a bellowing voice shouted from nearby.

“Not again,” Kimberly said with a fright, thinking Goldar had returned. She let out a long sigh of relief when she saw it was only Bulk and Skull stomping her way.

Bulk held up a finger. “First thing, I checked and there is no such thing as the day after never. If you didn’t want to go out with me, you could have just said so,” he said.

“Okay, I don’t want to go out with you,” Kimberly said.

“Fair enough.” Bulk sulked. He then held up two fingers. “Second thing, you owe us some information.”

Jason stepped up and glared at Bulk. “Kimberly, you okay?” he asked.

“Yeah, I’ve got this.” Kimberly smirked a little. She then leaned in close to Bulk and whispered, “I got an answer from the one you asked me to ask about that thing you wanted to know about.”

“And what did she say?” Bulk asked excitedly.

Kimberly used sign language to say, “The tale of Bobo the Pirate King is an urban legend and there is no treasure.”

“Hey, you know we don’t speak handfu. I mean, uh, sign language,” Bulk said.

“Yeah, tell us what all that hand stuff means,” Skull said.

“Sorry,” Kimberly sneered. “It’s not my fault you two can’t understand her message, but that’s the way she delivered it. Now get lost.”

Jason gave Bulk and Skull a tough stare down. They knew better than to mess with him and took off in a bitter huff.

Jason sat down by Kimberly. “Zordon said you handled things like a champ while we were away. Sounds like you’re ready for the Pan Global Games.”

“Maybe so.” Kimberly grinned at the thought of this. “For now, I think I’m going to take a nap.”

“You mean right here and now?” Jason asked.

“Yep. Right here. Right now. I think I’ve earned it,” she said, and leaned back in her chair. Then finally, after three long days of nonstop action, Kimberly Ann Hart’s eyes flicked shut and she drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
