Logan lifted her, carried her, and she wrapped her arms around him and simply held on. She held tight as he carried her into the house and then up the stairs. The world dipped, and she was on the bed, Logan above her, Chance beside her, lost in their lips and tongues as they took turns kissing her.

Then they moved as one, easing away just enough that they could work, together, to undress her. So fast, so hungry, they stripped her bare. Mere seconds later, they came to her, their naked flesh pressed against hers. The strength of their erections, the scent of their sweat and their cocks threw her arousal into overdrive.

“Another day, we’re going to take you in every single room of this house. But you said naked and in bed.” Chance covered her mouth, taking his place between her open thighs, and Bailey held him close.

He eased his lips from her and gently stroked his thumb over her bottom lip, as if in doing so he could make her body absorb the imprint of his lips.

“I want you both every way I can have you, in every room.” Bailey stroked his face and then looked at Logan. Two lovers, one love. She sure had that right. “But right now, I need you both inside me. I need to know this is real. I need to be joined with you both at the same time.”

“It’s what we want, too.” Logan cupped her cheek, turning her face toward him. “We need to know this is real, too. You’re the dream we gave up on a very long time ago.”

“We’re the luckiest men in the world.” Chance kissed his way down her body.

When he used his lips and tongue to caress her slit, to lap her clit, and place open-mouthed kisses on her, Bailey arched into him, ready to receive anything and everything he wanted to give her.

Then Chance got to his feet and walked those few paces to the bedside table. He tossed a condom to his brother. Logan moved, and Bailey laughed when he lifted her, brought her over him, and set her down so she straddled him.

“Today, this.” He handed her the condom. “But we’re going to get tested, and when you know we’re safe, we’ll do without these when we fuck your pussy.”

“Yes.” A part of her wanted their seed inside her now, wanted to begin the joyous privilege of carrying their children now.

She’d never imagined just the mental image of getting pregnant could be so hot.

It didn’t take Bailey long to open that packet. She so loved sliding a condom over Logan’s and Chance’s cocks. It just felt sexy as hell. Moving on the lover beneath her, she became aware of her own nectar. Tiny shivers washed through her, and when Logan lifted her once more, she wasted no time gently grasping his condom-covered cock and bringing him to the entrance of her body.

“You feel so good coming into me. I feel full and so very feminine every time I have one of your cocks inside me.”

“You’re about to feel a hell of a lot fuller.” The bed dipped, and Chance moved in behind her. He kissed her shoulder then gave her a tiny nip. “I’m going to be careful, baby. You tell me if it’s too much. Your promise, please.”

“I promise.” But she knew what they were about to do could never be too much.

“Let me see you ride my brother, soon-to-be-wife. You’re so fucking sexy when you lose yourself in us.”

As if those words had set her free, Bailey began to move on Logan, working with the thrust of his hips, balanced by the grasp of his hands on her breasts. She rode him, the eroticism, the sensuality so vast, so wonderful, she instinctively raised her arms in joy and in victory.

This day she had faced a mortal danger, had felt the cold steel edge of a knife at her throat, and had survived. She’d trusted, and she’d won, and this—this was her reward.

This passion. This thrill. This forever love.

“Come here.” Logan’s husky command found her body moving before her brain even processed his words. She folded down onto him and relished the sensation of his chest against her pebbled nipples.

Instinctively she moved so her bottom rose up, issuing an invitation to the lover who awaited behind her. The cold, slick sensation of lube being rubbed over her anus became an extra thrill, the cool turning fast to heat.

Chance pressed his fingers forward, and the burning sensation of his fingers penetrating her anus wrapped around her arousal, a piquant flavor added to their loving. Bailey moaned, pressing back against those delightful fingers and then down, reveling in the cock within her, greedily drinking in both sensations.

“Are you ready to receive my cock in your ass, baby?”

“She gushed on me just now, brother. I believe our woman wants and needs you.”

“I am. I do. This is our place, together, the three of us. This is just ours.”

“Yes, Bailey. This is just ours.”

The heat of Chance’s body along her back and the gentle prodding of his latex-sheathed cock on her rosette enthralled her. She moved, needing more, needing all. His cock pressed in harder, and she felt her sphincter open. Burning morphed to pain as the head of Chance’s cock fully entered her ass.

Then he pressed home, his cock sliding all the way into her, and Bailey gasped as the pain wove around her arousal, a golden thread to bind the moment. Her heart filled with wonder at the sheer bliss of the moment.

They were one, and Bailey knew this first complete joining would live in her mind and her heart for every day for the rest of her life.

Finally, and in a way she never could have anticipated, she was whole. She was whole, and she was loved. The sense of being there vanished, and the desperation for more exploded. Hunger clawed within and she dared to demand her lovers satisfy her.

“Oh, yes! Please, I need you both to fuck me. Hard, fast. Please, take me!”

She felt their struggle, their restraint as their need to be gentle battled their need to possess. She felt and understood and hungered to just give and give. So she moved, up and back and then down and in, an intimate dance for the men who would be her husbands. Bailey let them know, in the best way she could, that she would demand everything of them and joyously give everything in turn.

Their heat, their scent, and their guttural moans and cries fueled her, sending her arousal soaring higher than she imagined it could go. And when they broke, when they possessed, when they moved and gave her that hard and fast and deep, she cried out in ecstasy, the rapture filling her more brilliant and real and exciting than lovemaking had ever been.

Bailey felt the cocks within her pulse as they came within her. The heat of their seed pushing inside her against their latex brought a second climax that shivered through her body and stole the very last of her strength.

For a long moment, as she struggled to breathe, she relished the heat of them, front and back. She inhaled them both, and the scent of their sex, and knew this was what forever felt like.

Chance sighed. “I didn’t hurt you?”

“No, it’s wonderful.” To her own ears, she sounded a little drunk, and the idea made her smile.

“You’re wonderful. Don’t move.” He kissed her shoulder then eased out of her.

Immediately she missed his warmth and his weight. She thought she might have dozed because only seconds passed and he was back, lifting her off Logan then snuggling her close under the blankets.

Then Logan returned, and Bailey sighed. She was exactly where she loved to be the most, where she’d told them she needed to be—in bed, naked, and between them.

“You’re really willing to stay here?” She wondered how the certainty of moments before could slide so quickly into doubt. Their touch, their moving so they were even closer to her, reassured her in ways their words couldn’t.

But she wanted the words, too.

  “We really are,” Chance said.

“We can work anywhere, sweetheart.” Logan turned so that he faced her.

On her back, both men smiling down at her, she settled in and finally allowed herself to believe.

“I guess that is the beauty of having your own business.”

“Yes, and having one primary client.” Chance r
eached down and brushed a wisp of hair from her face. “Whenever face-to-face meetings were required, Porter always came to see us. He said at least, this way, he no longer has to travel in the ice and snow of New York in the winter.”

“I don’t have any family left in New York, but you do.”

“We can visit, or they can.” Logan reached down and stroked her chin. “We love you more than life. Loving you, marrying you, we’d do that anywhere. But here, we’re among family. All of us, as there is no way those women today thought of you as anything less than family.”

“That was amazing. Scary, but amazing.”

“Ditto the scary part,” Chance said. “We were in the kitchen with Joe Grant, listening as Adam set off to join you. We knew that bastard had a knife to your throat…” Chance closed his eyes and stopped speaking.

Bailey touched both of them, the fear she’d seen in their gazes visceral. So, she touched and stroked and gave them the moment they needed to let it out.

“I knew you’d come for me. I knew you’d rescue me.”

“We didn’t do anything. You practically rescued yourself.” Logan shook his head. “I’d say that performance you gave today definitely qualifies as kick-ass.”

Bailey grinned. “Thanks. Proved it once. No need to do it ever again.”

“Woman, you took the words right out of my mouth.” Chance bent down and kissed her. Then he lifted his lips, his smile so full of love she nearly swooned.

“Later, when we’ve all rested and recovered from our shared scare, we’ll talk about where we’ll live. We have a choice of houses here in town, including this one. Or we can pick one of the plots of land on the outskirts, where we can build our own house.”

“I can be happy anywhere, as long as we’re together. The details really don’t matter.” Bailey sighed. “Hey, I’m going to spend my life making love under two accountants! I’d say that’s the best payoff I could have imagined.”

“Not only that, we’ll do it by the numbers,” Logan said.

“And in perfect balance.” Chance grinned.

“Exactly! Really, what are the odds?” Bailey giggled at their shared one-liners.

“With you as our wife? We’re leaving ‘odds’ behind.” Logan nodded.

“He’s right. With you, our happy-ever-after is most definitely a sure thing.”

  Bailey couldn’t have agreed more.

  Chapter Twenty-Two

Music and laughter and the low hum of conversation wove a cocoon of family around Bailey James. Standing near the door of the restaurant for the moment and in her favorite spot, between Chance and Logan Benedict, she couldn’t help but beam.

No one had ever thrown a party for her in her entire life. Not for the first time that day, Bailey wished her mother could be here—to meet her men, to experience this town. There was no doubt in her mind at all. Brenda James would have loved her men and would have adored the people of Lusty, Texas. And they would have adored her right back.

Bailey blinked back the sheen of tears wishful thinking had brought. “Laci told me this is a reasonably new family tradition—having the engagement party here at Lusty Appetites.”

“It’s hard to imagine that, until just a few short years ago, there wasn’t a restaurant in town.” Chance picked up her left hand and kissed it.

“We’re both very glad this party is here,” Logan said. He picked up her right hand and copied his brother’s gesture. “This is, after all, where we first met.”

“You’re right, it is. I guess that makes Lusty Appetites ‘our special place.’” Such love filled Bailey’s heart she didn’t know if she had room enough to contain it all. Chance and Logan showed her that they knew her well, knew she was feeling very sentimental. They moved in closer so that they formed a small, tight triangle. Still, with each of her men holding one of her hands, she felt cocooned and, for just a few heartbeats, as if no one else in the world existed except the three of them.

“Good grief, guys. Get a room, why don’t ya?”

“Hush, honey. They’re allowed their moments. That, right there—that’s what love looks like, by anyone’s definition.”

Bailey blushed. The two women who’d just spoken were new to her acquaintance, but she recognized their voices, regardless.

“We have a whole house full of rooms, squirt,” Chance said. He grinned at his younger sister, Alice, and then hugged his mom.

“And, baby sis, you need to know we’re on our way to using each and every one of those rooms. My advice to you is to stay in your room with the door closed while visiting. The utilization of earplugs might not go amiss, either.” Logan had leaned forward as if to whisper—but spoke loud enough for everyone to hear.

Sonja laughed as she released Chance, and then she hugged Bailey. “You might want to take notes for future reference, Bailey. When you have more than one child, it can often be very much like living at a circus—or in a zoo.”

Bailey grinned at her future mother-in-law. She’d met her men’s parents, Sonja and Chris Benedict, along with their younger sister, Alice, the day before when they arrived in Lusty. The three visitors had accepted the offer of bedrooms at the house and were planning to stay for at least a week. They’d had a good talk late into the evening last night. Bailey believed she and Sonja would get along very well. “That is good to know. Although they do have something here in Lusty called ‘cousin-speak,’ a no-holds-barred art form of insults and general teasing. It’s a riot to listen to.”

“Hmm, an organized and controlled barb fest. What a wonderful idea!” Her future father-in-law seemed to relish the concept.

Chris Benedict gave her a hug and then hugged his sons. “I have to say, of all of your generation of the Benedict clan living in New York, I never thought it would be you two who’d move to Lusty.”

“But you thought some would?” Logan asked.

“Dad had been quite open about the history of his family—with me and your uncles Edward and William and your Aunt Rosie. But Mom didn’t want him talking about a town called Lusty or the alternative lifestyle in which he was raised.” Chris Benedict shrugged his shoulders. “As the years passed, it never occurred to me to tell you and your brothers that your grandfather had grown up in a ménage family. But yes, I figured someone among the passel we have up north would be drawn here. I think it’s probably in the genes. I wouldn’t have been surprised or upset to hear of any of your cousins or your brothers deciding to share a wife.” Then he grinned. “And I’m delighted to welcome Bailey into our family.”

“I’ll be honest with you both. I was a bit upset when you told us you planned to stay here.” Sonja took a moment and ran her hand down Logan’s arm. “You know how I feel about family, how important it is to stay connected. But now that I see you have family here, too, I feel better about your decision to move here.”

“Thanks, Mom.” Chance kissed her cheek. “We’re only a plane ride away.”

“And we will be visiting you, too,” Logan said. He kissed her other cheek. “But we want to make our home here.”

The visiting New York Benedicts accepted an invitation to join their Texas cousins. Soon they were settling in with Bernice, Caleb, and Jonathan. Bailey watched as tables got moved together and conversation flowed. Anyone looking would see, simply, family.

The connections were there, and it didn’t seem to matter the distance or the time people were apart. They’d visited as children, and now the senior members of the family were, after all else had been said and done, still cousins.

“Are you telling them about the house?” The three of them had discussed the offer from Grandma Kate and had chosen to build a house on a plot of land at the north end of Lusty. Effectively, Chance and Logan would be working at home, and Bailey would only have a very short drive to the Roadhouse and her job.

She liked serving, and she liked bookkeeping. Chance and Logan had offered to include her in their work. That was an offer she was keeping open for when they began to expa
nd their family. She thought once she had her first baby, it would be good to stay home, help her husbands in their business, and have them close at hand to share in all the wonders of parenting.

“Yeah, we’ll let them know our plans. We can do that much,” Logan said.

“We just can’t tell anyone else about Sarah Carmichael Benedict’s legacy.” Chance grinned. “Just you.”

“Our first family secret,” Bailey said.

  “Exactly.”

Over the next half-hour, more guests arrived, most of them people Bailey recognized from her short time being a member of the Lusty community. There were equal numbers of Benedicts, Jessops, and Kendalls. And as with the Benedicts, some of the Kendalls were from New York.

“This town has grown more than a bit over the last couple of years,” Samantha Kendall said. “William and Norman, whom you just met, as well as their cousins Rich and Donnie, have joined us—their grandfathers were my fathers-in-law, but their fathers had a different mother.” Bailey had heard the tale of Naval Officers Martin and Nicholas Kendall having a romance with Judith Merritt just before the start of the Second World War. This happened the summer before they met and then married Miranda Barnes. Judith had ended their romance, and they’d never heard from her again—never, in truth, known they’d fathered triplet sons. Not until after Judith had died of cancer and left them a letter. That had been about the same time that Samantha had driven into Lusty and been stranded by a broken-down car.

Fortunately, there had been three handsome Kendall men ready to help a damsel in distress. In the end, the three sons from New York had come and met their biological fathers and formed relationships with their half-brothers, Samantha’s husbands.

Bailey grinned at Samantha. “You refer to them as the New York Kendalls,” she said. That was noteworthy because she knew the family referred to her Benedicts as New York Benedicts.

Samantha nodded. “Yes! I know. You need a spreadsheet to keep track of the family. Oh, and didn’t I just hear from some other Kendall cousins yesterday? These are descended from the original Adam Kendall’s oldest brother, Isiah. They’ll be coming by to visit in a couple of weeks.”
