A day or two later-
Christy and Cindy entered the restaurant.Christy looked around tensely in confusion.The place was a mess.The chairs looked like they were nibbled on.
The open bar ,where once everyone shared each others sorrows and happiness whilst drinkin; is now nothing but a dump of shattered glasses.
Bottles of wines,champagne,vodka,all broken.
All they could see was sharp glasses everywhere.
Christy ,reluctantly took a step forward .
She looked around only to see the window where she once held hand with Jason.The door sized window was now just a window pane with no glass at all.The cold wind blew past her dark blonde bangs.
Christy's eyes glistened with tears forming .
''Christy ,did you hear that?'' Cindy asked looking at a huge door .
''Oh my ,I hope he is alright!'' Christy cried as she ran towards the door without hesitation.
She stopped at the door,looking at the marks made by monstuas.
''You better be alive Jason'' she whispered to herself .
She clinged to the door and pushed it with all her might.
''Ugggh,it wont budge'' she grunted.
''Christy are you sure this is a good idea?''Cindy narrowed her eyes as she looked at Christy .
''What are you t-'' Christy was about to yell at Cindy but stopped herself midway,realizing that its not Cindy's fault to be suspicious.Cindy doesn't know Jason.She was just looking out for her.
Christy sighed and slowly detached herself from the door.
''You are right we should first check ''Cindy sighed as she leaned against the door.
Cindy joined her ,relaxing her back against the door.She curled her left leg ,placing her foot against the metal door.
Arms crossed across her chest ,she closed her eyes and tilted her head up,breathing in the scent of breeze.She exhaled deeply .She looked like at this point she didn’t care about anyone or anything.She just lost her son,was it okay for Christy to drag her in the unknown danger that awaits beyond that door?
After a four long minutes ,Christy broke the silence.
'' hey,I am sorry ''she said
Cindy who was almost asleep by now,groggily opened her eyes.
''Huh what?''she asked
''I am sorry for...''she trailed off
''What are you talking about?This is the only place where we could be,we don't have anywhere else to go'' Cindy calmly put forth
She went back to napping to the previous position.
''hmmm''Christy said looking at the floor.
whimpering sounds heard at a distance
''Did you hear that ?'' both say it together.
Cindy turns facing the door trying

Cindy and Christy looked at each with wide eyes.
Slowly the door opened ,just a few inches.Damp,brunette hair covering a damp forehead is all they could see.That’s what they could see but Christy also did feel something.
Christy's heartbeat raised,hoping it was the person she was looking for.Cindy was simply happy to see someone alive.
''Hgh''Christy sobbed.
She placed her right palm on her mouth to supress her sobbing noises,but this didn't stop her eyes from getting flooded.
Finally the figure stepped in front of them.Christy's brows narrowed.Unaware of Christy's disappointment,Cindy smiled warmly at the person.The person with raven black hair stepped out .He walked past Cindy and Christy .He sighed heavily.He then turned to face the huge doors.He closed the door shut .Hearing the door shut Cindy snapped out of her thoughts.''Wait,what isn’t there anyone inside?''Christy asked him.
''No,it was just me.What are you talking about ?'' he said and turned to leave.
''Wait ''Cindy exclaimed from behind.
He reluctantly stopped walking and grinned.
''We don’t have a place to live ,we have running circles and when we came here ....this place doesn’t seem like a place where we could survive either ''Cindy explained her situation.
''And you want me to help you find a place for you?'' he sounded annoyed
''No,well...you seem a too calm for a guy who just got out of a meat locker.''Cindy pointed out
''Look miss,I am in no mood to have a verbal fight with anyone so could you just leave me be.'' he said
''No you misunderstood me ,all I am saying is ,you seemed confident when you were leaving''she said
''So if you could just....I don't know help us out a bit maybe?''she put forth
''Fine,you can come with me'' he said .
He flung open the door of the restaurant and walked out with confidence and pride.Cindy followed him whilst hugging herself ,rubbing her palms against her arms.Christy reluctantly walked behind her .She took a final look at the restaurant as they left the premises.
"My name's Cindy and you are?''Cindy broke the fifteen minutes of awkward silence.
''Yuu'' he answered as crossed path revealing a new road .That which was unknown to Cindy .
''We are almost there '' he said and smiled at Cindy.
Cindy reluctantly smiled but felt the urge to smile even more after that.
Christy on the other hand walked aimlessly ,lifeless too.
Cindy was too relaxed and content to notice her feelings,hell,she was too happy to even notice Christy altogether.
She looked around her.
''You seem really happy!'' Yuu said.
''Yeah,I mean look at the sky ,the dark sky lightning up the moon and those tiny stars.''Cindy beamed.
Yuu stopped walking and looked at Cindy with a slight grin.
'' Sky lightning up the moon?I thought it was other way around'' Yuu asked
Cindy strided towards him and stood besides him.
''Cause because of its darkness the stars can shine.'' she said
Yuu gave her thumbs up and started walking again.
''Someone once told me that me that ,darkness is needed ,for it is because of the dark that we can see the stars shine so bright right?''Cindy said dreamily looking at the beautiful sprinkle of stars that brightened up her spirit.
Cindy remembers how she held her son in her arms for the first time.
Cindy instinctively took out her phone from the back of her jeans.Yuu noticed her smile.Her fingers moved seamlessly,just like everyone who uses a mobile ,her fingers moved out of habit.Her smile soon faded and her face turned into a worried one.She moved phone slightly to left,gesturing Yuu to take a look at it.Yuu understood her gesture and looked at the scree of her phone.The screen flickered with blue lines running across the screen like pipes.
''Capture and Control in progress'' appeared right in the middle of the screen.
The message soon disappeared and Silver lines started to form a circle with a capital SA .
''Welcome ,we are Species Avanzado''.
A female voice said as Yuu stared at the screen.
Their faces went pale upon hearing this from her phone.Cindy screeched and dropped her phone as if it was a bomb that was about to explode.
Her phone dropped open as it hit the ground.
She looked at her broken phone with mixed feelings.It was the only memory of her son she had ,was it alright to throw it away with the fear of Monstuas?
She looked at Yuu for his opinion.
''I think you should keep it ,it could be imp-,I mean it could come in handy ''Yuu said
''For what?That thing just told us what was going on ''Cindy protested
''No,look.If it was it seems ,then don't you think we should know what they are upto ''Yuu tried to convince her
Cindy's eyes widened in disbelief.
'''No,I don't want anything like that near me'' she said.Cindy shook her head frantically ,only emphasizing her decision.
''Why are you so scared after seeing so much worse'' he said
''They just freaking took over our species'' she yelled furiously
''We don’t know that yet and if it is true shouldn’t we be ready for what
s coming? Do you really believe that you can decide your role in all of this? None us asked for this okay, none of us was ready for this but look where we are right now! Whether you are surrendering to them or fighting against them ,we need that shit.We need to know what they are planning to do with us.
''Don’t you see ?They have taken over ''Cindy practically screamed.
''Yes and going against them is what you wanna do?''Yuu said
''But I don't want to be there slaves'' she yelled
Yuu held his hair in frustration with both hands while walking back and forth on the empty road
Yuu squeezed her both arms and shook her as if trying to wake someone up and said ''You think you deciding that is enough? You think throwing off your phone is going solve all the problems?'' he yelled.
Cindy was shocked at his behaviour.
She looked into his eyes then her eyes trailed off.Yuu let go off her as she was clearly not in a state to understand.She started walking towards the tree at the sides of the road.She flopped down on the ground in defeat.
Yuu,Christy and Cindy walked down the empty cold road that night unaware of what the future holds.

At Stacey's mansion-
''How the hell do you not feel any pain?''Stacey asked
Jeff simply shakes his head.
''I don't know '' he said
''We should get you to a doctor''she said
''For what? I cant feel pain'' he scoffed
''The wound has healed then why go to a doctor'' he said
''Fine.Relax,its not like we were gonna find a doctor anyway''she cackled
''that's not funny'' he said
''Why are you so scared to go to a doctor anyway,you are not a child''she chuckled
''I am not scared .I just don't think we are in a state to do so.If it was a normal time then I would have agreed.But for asking me to go to a doctor '' he paused mid sentence.
''Its very mommy-like of you'' he concluded
She simply smiled at his comment.
Stacey jumped at the unusual sound that she heard.
''Did you hear it ?''she whispered
Ringing sound
Jeff frowned and shushed her
''Is it the door bell ?'' he whispered
''Yes,who could it be?''she whispered
Both walked towards the main door .Expecting nothing yet imagining every possibility.Both grabbed something from the kitchen.Jeff slightly opened the door with fear only to see three unfamiliar faces which seemed more in danger than himself.They seemed like they needed help themselves.
''Yuu?'' Stacey raised her brow in surprise.
''Umm...Hello Stacey,these are my friends Cindy and Christy.Can we come in ?I have something important for you'' he said
Stacey nodded and gestured them to get inside.
Stacey and Yuu sat in open bar
Stacey crossed her legs and smiled and waited for him to say something.
''I have a favour to ask actually could me and my friends stay here for some while?'' he asks reluctantly
''Um...sure''she says
''Wait didn't he say he had something important to say to you'' Jeff whispered to Stacey as she was making her way towards the pink kitchen.
Stacey simply tilted her head and sighed.
''What are you just gonna let them stay?'' he whispered loudly
''Jeff he worked for my husband I know him quite well okay ?''she justified
Jeff had his hands on his hips and eyes on the ceiling ,he sighed clearly annoyed.
Stacey glared at him
''Have seen how huge this mansion is ?''Stacey asked
''Its-'' Jeff started
''Its fucking huge'' Stacey exclaimed
''Its not gonna get crowded with three new residents''she said
Jeff nodded in defeat and leaned against the kitchen
''And if they seem like annoyance then we can just ask them to live in the main mansion and we could live here in the outhouse'' Stacey cooed
''What?''Jeff exclaimed
''I am sorry Jeff but you just have to deal with it ''she said and turned her heels.
''Um Stacey,can I talk to you for a moment'' Yuu said from the other side of the counter.
Stacey nodded in agreement.
Stacey walked over towards a corner of the large living room and stopped.She crossed her arms and gestured Yuu to start talking.
Jeff was watching them ,he could only hear distant muffled voices of them.He could see Stacey listen carefully to Yuu and he also her eyes widen in shock.He had never seen Stacey this way.Was Yuu telling her something about her husband? Jeff wondered ,he snapped out of his own thoughts as he shook his head to focus on her.His heartbeat raised as he saw her face still in shock ,heavily breathing Stacey started walking backwards ,her eyes just staring into space.Her arm aimlessly looked for something to grab .Her pink vase crashed onto the floor as her hand accidentally hit it .Everyone was shocked but she didn't care.She didn’t care if the expensive vase was broken she didn’t care if people were looking at her .She gave up and slowly sat down on the floor .
''Yuu...''she sighed.
Yuu simply nodded as if he understands what she is going through.What was it that Yuu understood but no one else did? What did he tell her that she was so shook,what did he say to her that he was expecting this from her?Many questions were left unanswered as Stacey ordered Jeff to go with her and Yuu wherever Yuu was taking them.Of course,Christy and Cindy joined too.They were as confused as Jeff not knowing what it is that Yuu and Stacey talked about.But they were not in a position to question either of them at the moment,on the other hand Jeff could but he was only met with hurtful words.
Everyone was ready to leave the mansion.
Inner Monologue of Stacey:
My husband is alive,he said .Should I tell him?Should I ask him? NO it cant be possible ! Then where is he taking me! Why is Yuu lying to me! My husband cannot be alive ,I killed him myself.I killed him,I regretted it but then monstuas show up like a blessing.No one is going to worry about the past.Even if someone does get too nosy I will just say that he was killed by a monstua.I am worried about what Yuu has in his mind,I never trusted this guy,but I have to pretend that I like him,or else stupid Jeff might get suspicious and nosy.I killed a man and got away with it ,I can handle what Yuu's got in store for me.All I hope is for my husband to be dead.Anything but that Yuu,no matter what your conspiracy is here ,what game your playing,I don't know but I am up for it ,I accept it all ,just don't freaking introduce me an alive husband of mine when we reach
End of monologue
When Cindy and Christy came along with Yuu ,they were upset and scared and didn't no how to react to the situation that's why they followed him.He seemed like a new friend,who hasn't been through what they did .Seeing each others faces everyday of their misery only made them more upset but with you it wasn’t the same.He knew nothing about them and they knew nothing about them.All they knew about each other was that they all are in the same mess.Now,they had forgotten all their worries on the way to Stacey's,now they were wide awake.They had started to question Yuu's intention the moment they reached Stacey's mention but it was too late for them to question their decision.Ofcourse! it would be foolish of them to confront him now,if he really is a bad person then he would do worse with them than he has in mind if he knew that they were doubting him.SO,for the time being they decided to shut up,but inside they were really scared to death.What if he is taking advantage of the monstua situation? What if the monstuas knew about this ?Since they are the government now,would they help us ?Or would they just continue being monsters that they are.Yuu noticed the tension on their faces and turned to Cindy and said ''don't worry,the monstuas are gonna help us'' he whispered.
''What d
o you mean?''Cindy asked in shock
''Just that we don't need to be scared of them'' he beamed
As soon as they reached the new building which looked like made of steel,with the 'SA' logo flashing on it made everyone nervous as hell.They were definitely in for a roller-coaster ride ,they knew it.Everyone entered the building reluctantly but they had no other options they had to do it some day,Jeff and Stacey weren’t safe anymore at the mansion anyway.Cindy and Christy had no roof ,they had to obey and greet the new government.Perhaps the could get themselves some good deal out if they were the first to greet their new kings.There were hundreds of people outside that probably thought about sucking up to the monstuas but the guards were too strong for them.Yuu's group was shocked to see the monstuas NOT kill someone for the first time.Funny how the guards didn't let anyone in but let them go in so easily.Everyone was sure that Yuu has something to do with this.He was surely one of them ,just like those people outside who were here to be on the monstuas's good books.They didn't have a choice at this point did they?It was too late to back off now.They were in monstua territory.Yuu took them inside ,after walking past a lot of monstuas they entered a room which looked like a vault inside out.''Whats going on Yuu?'' Stacey asked.
''Nothing ,I am just helping you just like your husband asked'' he said
'' he asked what?''Stacey asked
''To help you ofcourse'' he said
''But in what way?''she asked worriedly
Yuu sighed.
He just nodded and gestured a monstua guard.they gurads took away jeff first.jeff was already tranquilized before anyone noticed ,the remaining were taken too.
Jeff was put in a dome shaped thing,the guards slammed their guns at metal doors to make the prisoners shut their mouths.''Keep it down ya filthy rats!'' a monstua guard shout at two men who were standing near the doors to watch Jeff.
Stacey,Cindy and Christy lived their for a long time,they see each other everyday but no sign of Jeff.They were in the same place as they were before ,where Cindy and Christy had been before .
Christy and Cindy were here before after seeing what happened to her son,Cindy and Christy ran away but not together.This was not new to them but there was one thing new though,the doses.After their arrived here with Yuu,there has not been a single test performed on the girls,could be cause they already got what they need from the previous tests,maybe Stacey had to go through all of it cause she was new here,maybe she didn't,but one thing is for sure,that they were never given regular dosage of anything.Everyone who was there that day had gone through the same routine.After they wake up they had to enter into a room where some of their people injected something from a vile ,the solution looked green almost like a lava but green.For a whole a week this continued.Cindy was too depressed to notice anything,seeing the place where it all began,the place where her son was turned into one of them,she walked toward the cabin like a robot and came to the cells where everyone slept.She didn't talk to anyone she didn't know what she was eating,who was talking to her nor what was being injected in her body everyday,all she was aware of was the place,the place that ruined her life forever.It was the last day of the programme.There were many people so,there were ten to fifteen cabins,Cindy went in one Christy in another ,they had to stand in line by numbers and cabins assigned to them.
