“Oh drop that bullshit. He killed your father, do you want to give him a noble prize for that? Now tell me how did you find out about this?”

"He admitted it to me when he was taking me home." I replied. "He said he was going to end it tonight. Why are you going to find your boss first? Shouldn't we be out there looking for them?"

"I'm going there because he might be able to locate him. He is also the only one that can talk, no, knock some sense into his head."

  "Alright."

We arrived at the Blackhearts HQ and headed straight to look for their boss. We found him reading a couple of files in his office.

"Boss." Luke called out to him. When he saw that it was just the two of us, he signaled his guards to leave.

"What brings both of you here?"

"There's a problem boss. I went to a club with Jon weeks ago and he ended up sleeping with the club's most valued escort."

A deep manly chuckle left his lips. "I guess the apple didn't fall too far from the tree." He boasted.

"The girl is now pregnant boss."

The amusement on his face slowly vanished. "What do you mean by pregnant?" He looked up to us with a keen eye.

"Jon was too drunk to use protection that night sir." Luke explained. "You said the girl is an escort Agent Stouggard, she didn't open her legs to only my son."

"She also said he was the only one that she slept with for the past two weeks boss."

"And without a condom!" I interjected causing Luke to glare at me.

He looked at us quietly trying to process all the information we just overwhelmed him with.

"That's not all, Jon wants to kill her." I added. "I know you guys are a bunch of deadly killers already but you can't just stand by and watch Jon get through with this, help—.

  "Angel!" Luke scolded.

  "Sorry."

"It's a good thing you two came here, I'll let my men trace his car. Wait here for a moment." He said, briskly walking out of his office.

"You just don't know when to shut up do you?." He commented.

"You were wasting time and that is a resource we don't have a lot of right now."

Minutes later, Jon's dad returned with a few men behind him.

"Jon just left a bar in West Athens and headed down the street."

"Bar? A drunk and angry Jon is not a very good combo." Luke said, glancing at the map projected on his device.

"Head for his location now, we'll update you on everything. The rest of you come with me, we have work to do." He commanded, some agents following him out.

We left on the quest to find Jon. The ride started with a lot of thrill and tension but got really dull after driving for over two hours straight.

"Why the hell have we been driving for so long?"

"Jon is moving from place to place searching for her so we have to discretely follow behind." He answered.

  "Do you think he can—"

"Wait." He said gazing at the GPS locator in his car. "What?"

"The pin on his location stopped, I think he found her." With this he stepped on the accelerator, increasing the speed.

Finally, we parked in what seemed like a very low-class settlement. It was filled with shacks and poorly built apartments with very bad lighting. The alleyways were dark and no one was seen walking around the place. It seemed like a place for dangerous drug dealers.

"Angel, sit in the car, I'm going to head after Jon."

"No. As much as you may not like this Jon is my friend too. I should also be helping him make the right decision." I got out of the car and shut the door.

"We better leave now." I said.

Luke shook his head and walked ahead of me towards a poorly constructed building.

Is this where the girl was now staying?

Jon's car was directly parked in front of that building, he might be in there. “Are you sure you still want to come?" He asked, giving the house a criticizing stare.

"Yes, this is not the time to chicken out Luke."

"Who said anything about chick- you know what, never mind."

I brushed past his shoulder to get inside. I regretted the decision immediately and stopped in the doorway. It was dark and cranky inside and a foul stench lingered in the air.

The girl wasn't lying when she said she had nowhere to go. I bet this place had been abandoned for years.

  "Jon!"

Luke shouted behind me turning on his flashlight. "You're making a very terrible decision. Come out now, we can still make things right."

The flashlight illuminated our surroundings. We were now in the living room and every piece of furniture was covered in cobwebs.

  "Watch your step." He warned.

I followed him as we climbed an old wooden staircase upstairs. There was no sign of Jon yet.

"I'm really starting to think Jon isn't-"

  "shh, listen."

I slowly focused and could hear soft cries emanating behind a door. "That way, let's go." He turned left in a very dusty hallway and continued to walk till he stopped me in front of a door.

Luke tossed me a short gun. "In case things get messy. Are you ready?"

I bobbed my head in a vertical motion and gave my best representation of a smile. Will Jon hurt me just to get what he wants? I know we've had our nice and lovely moments but hey, you can never be so sure with a serial killer.

Luke twisted the handle of the door but it was locked shut. He took his gun out and forcefully kicked the door open, pointing the gun at the dark space in front of him.

In the corner of the room was the girl I saw earlier today, bound against a chair with a piece of tight cloth around her mouth. Sweat mixed with grime trickled down her face and her lower lip was also gashed open. Luke was about to run and untie her when Jon stepped out of the shadows and cocked a gun at her head.

"Another step further, and her beautiful brains will be all over this floor." Luke's steps halted and my grip tightened on the gun.

This Jon reminded me of the one that killed my dad and that did not help my fear one bit.

"Think about this Jon, this also happened to your mother--"

"Go to hell." He growled, firing a shot at Luke who dodged it before crashing to the floor.

I quickly knelt behind a couch, this was getting pretty intense quickly.

"Look at you Jon, you're drunk. All the guilt of what you do will come crashing down on you when you get sober."

"I'm a killer, I don't have guilt. You of all people should know that." He took out a sharp dagger while pointing a gun in Luke's direction.

"Please Jon, don't do this." He shouted when he realized he was going to hurt her.

The muffled screams of the girl pierced through my ears. There was nothing I could do, all this was for nothing.

"Stop this at once!" A familiar voice shouted. Jon's dad walked in on the scene with a few men behind him.

"Drop the gun my boy." He said, walking closer. Jon quickly pointed the gun at his father.

The boss started laughing heartily as if everybody in the room had three heads. That was not the reaction to expect from a normal person when you point a gun at them.

"I call you bluff, you can't kill me. Hand over the girl this instant."

Jon's hold on his gun started faltering and he let go of it, dropping on his knees. Luke rushed over to untie the unconscious girl and carried her out in his arms.

"Agents, restrain him." His father shouted. Two men run up to Jon and handcuffed his hands behind him. "You dare point a gun at me, your own father?" He shouted with so much power making me flinch.

"Answer me!" He yelled again and harshly smacked him across the face with the back of his hand. Jon doubled over and hit his head on the floor.

"Stop this please, you'll kill him." I begged, realizing he was going to hurt him. I rushed to his side to help but the rest of them stopped me. "Go home kid, I'll send for you when I need you."

"No! He's starting to bleed, he's not moving let me help hi
m please!" I tried to break free of their hold but their grip was too strong.

"Take her home and make sure she stays there."

  Angela

It has been approximately three days after the terrible turn of events and I was feeling so restless and bored. I had nothing to do in the house and with Elsa gone for work most of the time, the house was like a cemetery.

I felt like I had also gained ten pounds over this period because all I did was eat junk food and sleep.

I finished peeing and flushed the toilet bringing me back to reality. If Jon was hurt or dead, I was returning back to my normal life. Get a job, find some new friends and move on. I was fed up with the killing.

My phone started ringing in the bedroom and I ran to answer it.

  "Hello, Angel here."

"Luke, get ready and let's go. I'm waiting outside your door." The line went dead after that sentence. Finally, time for some much needed action. I changed into a top and a pair of jeans and headed out.

Luke was leaning against his car with his muscular arms folded across.

  What a very original pose!

  "Get in." He said.

"Nice to see you too." I got in the car without another word. We drove to the blackhearts HQ, my heart twisting with every turn we made. Honestly, I didn't know I would be this eager to see Jon again.

I wanted to ask about what happened to Jon and the escort but Mr. Meanie here didn't even spare me a side glance. He parked and we got out of the car.

"Come with me, the boss wants to speak to you." He said. We reached the boss' office in minutes and the men guarding his door let us in.

"Good, you’re here. Take a seat, we need to set some ground rules." I was a tad bit scared of him after seeing him treat Jon that way. I silently sat on the chair in front of his table with Luke behind us.

"We all recently found out that my son was pregnant with a low-class whore." Ouch!

"My investigators are working on the case to find out if the child is actually his and if all this is true, I want Jon to train this child and bring it up in our ways."

I now know why he saved her. He just wanted to turn the child into another killing monster.

"Luke recently told me about this thing you had with Jon. I don't know if it's a fling or something but it must cease." My expression hardened, I was truly starting to hate Luke now.

"Jon has to keep his full attention on the pregnant girl and her needs untill she gives birth. To make sure whatever you two had doesn't happen again, Luke is going to be with you every time you're with Jon."

Congrats Luke on earning yourself full-time job to babysit me. I hope he's prepared because I'll make his time with me a living hell.

"If you try anything stupid I'll change your trainer to someone who won't mind cracking a couple of bones to get his message across your skull. That's all, both of you can leave now."

After that intense drama session, Luke led me to the training room to see Jon. On the way, I started to think of things that would get him annoyed but couldn't get any.

We reached the training room and Luke pushed the huge glass door so we could both enter. I found Jon talking to a fellow agent and I quickly run over to him. He was in a white cotton tee shirt which showcased his rock hard chest and abs that I missed seeing.

I engulfed him in a large warm hug as my head came to rest on his chest. He reluctantly dropped his arms around me returning the hug. His cologne was intoxicating, I could stay like this forever.

  "Oh, that's too tight Angel."

  "You're okay!"

Luke cleared his throat causing me to let go of him. "What's wrong why is he still standing there?" Jon asked, eyeing him.

  "It's nothing, he--"

"Why are you lying to him, he's going to find out the truth soon so why don't I just say it."

"What is it Luke?" He questioned with a stressed tone.

"Your dad told me to keep an eye on you two, your main priority is now Anastasia."

"What? So I can't be around her with you here? This is bullshit."

"Oh and by the way he also told me that you and Anastasia have a doctor's appointment today so hurry and go pick her up." He gloated. This is what Luke always wanted and he had it.

  "Get out, Luke." He said.

Jon's hands were starting to form fists by his side as he glared hatefully at him.

"I'm giving both of you five minutes." He smirked and walked out with his hands in his pockets.

"Jon I'm so sorry I snitched but I couldn't let you kill her."

"it's fine, just stop reminding me about it." I nodded meekly.

"Did you hear what he said? I can't touch you, I can't-" He trailed off, his grey eyes on my lips.

  "I can't kiss you."

"Jon it will be fine, you just have wait for about nine months till she gives birth." I consoled.

"So until then what, I give that bitch the money and attention she needs?"

"Hey, I'm here for you. It'll be fine trust me."

He nodded. I rushed into his arms again and just held unto him as his hand patted down my hair.

"Time's up." The devil walked back in.

"We have to leave and pick her up Jon, our appointment with the midwife is going to get canceled. Didn't you get informed about it this morning?"

He groaned, letting go of me. "Why are you coming? I can take her alone, you're not the one that got her pregnant anyway."

"Should I remind you of when you tried to kill her three days ago? Yeah that's not a good idea."

"Then I'm also coming." I added.

"No Angel, I'm going to get someone to take you home." Luke said.

"It's going to be hard for Jon with just the two of you there staring at him with mean faces. I'm also going to be there for him."

"She's coming Luke, cut the crap and let's go." Jon said exiting the training room. I was about to follow behind when Luke gripped my shoulder.

"I should remind of what the boss said, don't get too close."

"Hands off, this is my favorite top."

I stormed away and walked to Luke's car. Jon was already seated in the front seat so I jumped in the back. Luke followed behind shortly and started the engine, zooming us out of there.

About fifteen minutes of intense silence, we stopped in front of this lovely house.

"You brought her to your dead mother's house, I should have known." Jon commented. "Hey! Don't judge me, I wanted to find a quick place for her to stay. Wait here, I'm going to get Anastasia."

I turned my attention to Jon who seemed like he had a lot of things going on his mind right now.

"Are you aware of the plans your father has for this unborn child?"

"Yes. He wants to train it, he told me that two days ago."

We heard footsteps and turned to see Anastasia and Luke walking to the car.

I can see why he slept with her. Even in that flowy sundress her beautiful figure still couldn't be hidden. Her fair face visibly paled when she spotted Jon in the car. Jon lowered his head and groaned, it looked like this was the last place in the world that he wanted to be.

"It'll be fine Jon, you'll get through this, we’ll get through this."

Anastasia came to the back with me and the two men sat in front. I quickly looked out the window in hopes of avoiding any conversation with her.

The way to the hospital was filled with silence except for the soft symphony track playing in the background. I checked my phone out of boredom and saw a text from Elsa telling me she would stay late. I sighed, it was going to be a long night without her.

"We're here." Luke said. We all got down and walked over to the hospital, Jon and I trailing behind.

It looked cute and cozy inside the hospital with baby blue paint on the walls. A brunette receptionist's attention drew from her laptop when we entered.

"Hello, how may I help you?" She said with an almost perfect smile.

"Um, we're here to see Dr. Alicia Martin, we hav
e an appointment for 12:30."

"Sure, give me a sec." She said, typing away. "Anastasia Liesé?”

  "Yes."

"Follow me." She walked through the halls of the hospital, coming to a stop in front of a door.
