Rahab told Toni the same as Enoch told Cain. They both walked back to the door.

"How do you think Vince coded this? Is there anything on the door you can see," Cain asked Toni.

They both inspected the door the others looked too. For twenty minutes they all looked singularly or jointly at the door and could find nothing. As Bethany turned away, she looked down and noticed a mark on the marble floor, right up against the door. Bethany told the others, and everybody scooted back and looked at what Bethany had noticed.

"It looks like bottoms," said Lesley. “Look you can see the outline of the cheeks, along with the balls and penis on this one. That one has the outline of a vagina. There in front of the bottoms are two pairs of feet. I would reckon you guys have to strip down naked, sit on the floor and kiss and grope each other until the door opens.”

Everybody agreed with Lesley, so Cain and Toni stripped off their clothes and sat on the slightly warm floor. "Other sides, silly," said Lesley she pointed to a mark looking like a pair of testicles and penis on the floor. Cain and Toni changed places.

"Right, let's see you two kiss. Tongues now and plenty of heavy petting, plus lean into the door, your opposite shoulders touching just at the side of the vertical locking bar," said Bethany, as she noticed a shadow on the metal.

Toni ran her right hand down Cain's face, then looked him straight in the eyes.

"Yes, I do," Toni said and kissed Cain. Cain stopped trying to work out what Toni wanted with the yes, I do, kissing Toni back for all he was worth. Letting Toni take the lead on their kissing, Cain's left hand reached across and played with Toni's right breast. Cupping it in his hand then squeezing with his fingers, running his palm then thumb across the flesh until it caught on Toni's nipple, rolling it around the little nub, making it stiffen.

Toni let her right-hand drop from Cain's head, straight down to his penis, taking hold of Cain's growing member. Moving her hand around its swelling thickness, Toni pulled the foreskin back and lightly ran her index finger around the head, making Cain tense from the pleasure and groan into Toni's mouth.

"You can stop now," said Sophie. “The door lock has opened.” Reluctantly breaking apart Cain and Toni looked into each other's eyes. Giving Cain another kiss, Toni stood before Cain and looked at the open door. She picked up her clothes and dressed, Cain finished first, although he had trouble hiding his still erect penis.

"Who wants to go first, cause it sure will not be me," said Bethany. "I've seen way too many horror films, the one who goes first always dies a gruesome death."

"Coward," said Lesley, as she stepped through the door, then screamed for a second, before she burst out laughing.

"Man, look at all of your faces," Lesley said, tears running down her face, her laughter was infectious, everyone eventually laughed, even Bethany, but she still wasn't going through first.

“Wait until Cain spanks your bottom for frightening me so,” Toni said.

"ooh, a spanking, can I join in, I've not been spanked for ages," laughed Sophie.

Cain went past the entrance, and lights automatically came on, lighting up a large room, clustered with chairs, a huge bed and a large dining table. There was a mini kitchen on the far wall along with a door on the left-hand wall. Opposite the bed on the right-hand wall looked like a POD, but was four or five times larger, slightly set into the wall. There were several small tanks, strapped on the left side, tubes connected them to the POD. They all walked over to the POD and noticed a thin sheen of ice covering the Perspex cover.

"Don't touch it, not yet anyway," said Toni. "We'll let Rahab and Enoch look and see if it's safe first." Rahab, can you check out the POD, make sure we can touch it and see if there are any problems with its coding?

"Anyone for a drink of coffee? This kitchen looks fully equipped," said Lesley. As everyone went over to the table while Lesley and Bethany made coffee to share.

"Once we have the feedback from Enoch and Rahab, we'll see if this is the thing the Ratoles were looking for," Cain said sipping the strong coffee.

{There is a letter hidden in the room, don't know where but someone hid it. That should tell you what you have to do.} Enoch told Cain.

[Once you find the letter, you need to follow the instructions, rather quickly. No, before you ask we decided not to tell you as we believe you will fail if we do.] Rahab told Toni. Looking at Cain who was looking at her, Cain just shrugged his shoulders.

"Right, there is a document or letter in here ladies we need. Search everywhere, leave no stone or tile unturned," Toni said, as they all looked.

  Chapter 34

  Tower Showdown

"Thanks, ladies, let's do this. Let's eradicate the Gekards, hand in the quest before anyone else gets a chance. We can clear out the Barbarians at the same time too," said Cain as he pulled the stock of his M249 tight into his shoulder and started his shooting in three-second bursts.

"How many of those Barbarians did you say there were?" shouted Sophie, over the sound of Cain's M249 burst fire and Toni and Sophie firing their under-barrel 40mm grenade launchers. They were both using the HEDP (High Explosive Dual Purpose) rounds, aiming towards the rear of the charging pack.

"A map count showed five hundred and sixty-eight Barbarians and fifty-five Gekards, so some six hundred and twentyish. Although I have killed a couple, along with shooting at their big bad bosses, irritating both the Barbarians and Gekard's boss too," replied Cain. The two HEDP rounds exploded on the ground in the middle of explosive area one. One or both of the HEDP ignited the other HE buried there in the ground. The ensuing explosion instantly killed the Barbarians, sixty-one, of them.

Because of the angle Cain and his DreamBabes were shooting downwards at the massed pack of Barbarians and Gekards, the shots fired were doing plenty of damage to sometimes two or more of the opposing force.

In the first ten seconds Cain, Lesley and Bethany had shot and exploded six HE mines. With their bursts of fire and aimed shots, they had killed an assorted total of fifty-two, Barbarians and Gekards.

The next two HEDP shots, fired by Toni and Sophie still aiming at the rear of the charging pack, killed an assorted thirty-six of the pack, still leaving four hundred and ninety-nine still to kill.

As the two HEDP shots exploded Bethany aimed for one of the red pieces of the curtain, her first two shots missed, the third was the ace as the targeted HE mines exploded, igniting three other HE mines. Killing sixteen Barbarians. Lesley's accuracy was improving as she gained a main skill of Marksmanship, shooting and killing four Barbarians and three Gekards.

Cain was cutting down the Barbarians with his burst shooting with the M249. Unfortunately, for the pack, some of his shots hit three of the hidden HE mines. Cain shot and killed twenty-two with the M249 while the three mines killed another nineteen. The numbers of the pack were steadily being reduced, yet they still attacked the DreamBabes tower.

Cain had previously asked Enoch to let him know distances and how many of the mines there were and how many Barbarians left in the pack. As the three mines exploded from his shooting, Enoch told him the main body of the pack was now less than a hundred and fifty yards away and had split into two main groups. He also said there were still four hundred and forty-nine of the vertically challenged inarticulates still to kill.

Cain swapped out a box of ammunition for the M249 and looked at the areas the pack was now moving across. Noticing one part of the pack now spread between two of the areas with red and yellow curtain material fluttering across the ground. He shouted to Bethany and Lesley to shoot at the placed HE mines in the area where the two roads curved around Car Park A.

Cain cocked his M249 and started his three-second burst shooting at the material markers in front of the larger part of the group. Cain's shots along with Bethany and Lesley's shots set off a chain reaction with the mines in their areas. Unknown to Cain and his Babes, there was a hydrogen storage tank buried beneath the edge of the car park. This was the real reason, so many Barbarians and Gekards died in t
he largest explosion of the afternoon.

{Nice shooting, between you and your Babes, the mines exploded killing one hundred and sixty-three Barbarians and twenty-one Gekards. Keep it up Cain, their numbers are still large there are 265 of them. Between you and your four women you have killed slightly more than half of the Barbarians and Gekards.} Enoch told Cain.

Ignoring the massive explosion Toni and Sophie carried on firing their under barrel launched HEDP rounds into the rear of the Pack, forcing them forward, further into the waiting killing zones.

While Toni was loading her 40mm grenade launcher, she noticed a group of Barbarians moving across the main road trying to flank the tower. Unfortunately for them, they had just entered a small area of mines.

"Switch aim to our right," Toni shouted over the sounds of gunfire to Sophie, "That group is trying to flank us." They had both reloaded then launched the grenades, up into the air towards the flanking group. Their shots exploded at the outer edge of the mine area, Toni's a fraction before Sophie's. Toni's shot caused the flanking group to move back towards the road while Sophie's shot landed right in the middle of the Barbarians. The two HEDP shots and the exploding HE mines, killed seventy-four Barbarians and a Barbarian sub-boss.

Giving each other high fives, Toni and Sophie swapped out their M16s for their G3s, then took aimed shots at the Barbarians. Bethany and Lesley both emptied their magazines, Bethany killed six barbarians, while Lesley exploded two mines killing another nine. Cain's shooting had killed twenty-two, and the mine he hit exploded, killing another six.

Enoch, can you let everyone know how many of the Barbarians and Gekards remain, and the closest distance to the tower. Cain said to Enoch.

{You have done well, in almost two minutes of fighting you have either blown to pieces or shot 475 of them. There are just a manageable 148 left. Along with 3 Barbarian sub-bosses and the main boss, plus 2 Gekard sub-bosses and the main boss. There is a large group of throwers nearly close enough to throw their spears and hand axes, nearly 40 yards from your position.} Enoch replied to Cain's question.

"Less than one fifty to kill, ladies less than one fifty, we've got this. There seems to be a few throwers just coming into range, Emily can you provide shielding once they throw spears and axes up at our position?" Cain asked Sophie. Hearing a noise behind them, Cain spun and reacted instantly as a badly wounded Charger’s clawed arm grasped the tower rim.

Edge firmly grasped the Charger climbed over the edge of the tower. It was just looking up as it got to its feet as Cain jumped the small distance between them and rammed his combat knife into the Chargers right eye, right up to the cross guard. Throwing the dead body back the way it had come, Cain drew his Glock and looked over the back and sides of the tower.

How on earth that Charger climbed up here on its own? Hearing a scream from Toni, Cain turned back and picked up the M249 and fired again. Sophie stopped her shooting and concentrated on shielding the group although her final shot hit an HEDP mine killing five Barbarians.

Cain finished his second ammo box and swapped it for a full one. A steady rain of spears and axes fell from the air. They sounded like heavy raindrops on glass as they bounced off Sophie's angled shield.

  Square Off

"One more magazine each, then we can say goodbye to the DreamBabes tower," Cain shouted. The Barbarians and Gekards were almost to the tower, making it easier to shoot them, it also meant a few hardy Barbarians and Gekards were trying to climb two sides of the tower. Between the four still shooting they killed thirty-eight Barbarians and three Gekards. The spears and axes were still bouncing from Sophie's shield.

{There are just 110 left to kill.} Enoch told Cain.

Noticing a slight pause in the throwing as they swapped out their magazines before stowing their G3s. "Ropes ready? Elise, then Susan, go, now," shouted Toni as she and Cain, fired their Glocks at the Barbarians climbing the tower sides. Toni was taking careful aim with one Glock, Cain was using two Glocks, his firing was like the MP5. They killed five more Barbarians and one of the last Gekards before Toni holstered her Glock then jumped up, reaching for and grabbing the zip line. Placing her rope loop over the zip line, she quickly sped down the zip line towards the waiting Bethany and Lesley.

"OK, Emily, EMILY," Cain shouted as Sophie collapsed to the ground, her shield failing. Feeling for her pulse Sophie barely opened her eyes, whispering. "Spent all my mana holding the shield." Then her eyes fluttered shut.

Shit, shit, shit As Cain pulled the pins from three grenades and dropped them over the sides where the Barbarians were climbing. Kneeling and scooping Sophie onto his shoulder, Cain waited two seconds for the grenades to explode, killing six in the explosions. Knocking twelve from the sides of the tower, nine of which died on impacting the floor and two when the falling Barbarians fell on them.

As the grenades exploded, Cain leapt from kneeling, catching the zip line with his left gloved hand and held Sophie over his right shoulder. Cain could feel the glove over heating before smelling of burnt skin as he sped down the zip line. Next, he felt the glove burn his hand. Still a third of the distance to go. Gritting his teeth Cain held on with his left hand as they sped down the line.

A thrown axe clattered off Cain's helmet, bringing spots before his eyes. Nearly there, fuck, my bloody hand is burning, Aargh, Cain screamed as he neared the other Babes kneeling with their G3s out firing at the Barbarians and Gekards on the tower. Suddenly the zip line sagged, Cain turned his head, watching as two Gekards then four Barbarians jumped on and slid down towards them.

"Cut the fucking line NOW," Cain screamed at the top of his voice, "CUT IT!" Watching as Lesley stood her combat knife appearing magically in her hand, then she swiped her combat knife through the zip line, like a hot knife through butter the zip line parted. As Cain felt the line, lose its tension he opened his badly burnt hand and dropped the fifteen feet to the building roof. His enhanced legs easily cushioning his loaded fall, he stood and ran to the others.

The Gekards and Barbarians on the zip line screamed as they fell to their deaths. Six more of the fuckers. "Good riddance," Cain said as he laid Sophie down on the sleeping roll, that Lesley had laid out. Cain told his Babes that Sophie was just exhausted from using all of her mana holding the shielding.

"Natasha, blow that tower, turn it into a cairn," Cain told her.

"How can she turn it into a dog? The tower is concrete and steel," asked Bethany

Cain slapped his head with his right hand as Lesley peeled the burnt leather glove from Cain’s left hand before she cast a healing spell on it.

“Sorry,“ Lesley said as she removed the burnt glove, she knew Cain‘s hand would not heal with pieces of leather glove embedded in his flesh.

"A cairn is a mound of rough stones built as a memorial or landmark. In this instance, it is a memorial to all those NPCs someone has forced us to kill," Cain replied, distracted by Toni aiming and shooting an HEDP round at the fluttering yellow curtain on the base of the tower.

The HEDP exploded right where Cain had planned for. The sixty HE rounds they placed around the base of the tower, along with twenty of the HEDP rounds a third of the way up the tower, exploded in perfect harmony.

The tower exploded outwards from the base starting the collapse. The HEDP rounds shredded the concrete facings of the tower, blasting the large pieces of concrete shrapnel rushing out in a circle of sudden death. As the tower collapsed the falling steel and remaining concrete killed even more of the Barbarians, who had climbed to the top. Cain checked the kill list.

{Cain, the Gekards boss and one sub-boss are still alive. While the Barbarians boss and three sub-bosses and three other Barbarians live too.} Enoch told Cain

Taking out the M2010 sniper rifle out of Toni's inventory, looking at the remaining members of the chasing pack. As Cain looked the Slasher Gekard jumped on the back of one of the Barbarian sub-bosses, ripping out its throat. While it did that the Gekards boss crushed one Thrower's head with a stamp of it
s left foot as it bit the head off another Thrower.

The Barbarian boss picked up a length of steel, swinging slowly at the Slasher Gekard, which easily ducked as it eviscerated another Barbarian sub-boss. While the Gekard boss killed the last Barbarian Thrower, it took the Thrower's spear in its chest.

Double checking, Cain noticed there were now only two Barbarians and two Gekards, facing off against each other. The Slasher Gekard leapt at the Barbarian sub-boss but the steel the Barbarian boss wielded, caught it mid leap, getting smashed to the floor. The Gekards boss picked up one of the many thrown axes and sank its blade deep into the Barbarians sub-bosses head, killing it instantly.

Although Cain could not hear from the distance, he could tell the Barbarian boss was roaring at the Gekard's boss, as he could see through the scope bits of spittle flying in the air.

While the Barbarian was roaring something unintelligible at it as the Gekard darted in and swiped at the Barbarians throat, ripping out the windpipe and arteries. Knowing it was dying the Barbarian took a weak swing at the Gekard, but it easily leant back to avoid being hit in the head.

The Barbarian was not aiming the Gekards head though, but the spear lodged in its chest. The steel hammered the spear shaft forcing the spearhead deeper into the chest, rupturing the Gekards heart.

Both bosses fell dead to the ground. Cain was not sure how he felt, they had killed over six hundred NPCs, to make the game safer for other players and prevent the airfield from being overrun.
