  Twenty minutes later Toni led Daphne from the shower room, they showered and dressed. Once they left the room, the others piled in as a group, Cain came out thirty minutes later, proceeded by his erect penis.

  "Those Babes, they can't get enough, they wouldn't leave me alone," Cain tutted and laughed. Laughter drifted out of the shower room along with shrieks of joy. Cain dressed quick, went over to check on Daphne and Toni who sat at the table, holding mugs of coffee, talking in hushed voices. Cain gave Toni a hug and kiss then turned to hug Daphne too. Daphne surprised Cain as she gave his a kiss, something he was not expecting.

  "Well, Daphne had a big shock, not surprising there. One good thing for us though she accidentally found our message. It appears Vince has a virtual recording of himself, rigged to play once someone turned the shower on, after someone released Daphne from her POD," said Toni.

  After the other DreamBabes exited the shower room, dressed and still laughing, Daphne led them all back. With them all piled into the shower room, they watched as Daphne turned the shower back on. The reason for Daphne's scream became clear, they all imagined how bad it must have been bending over to get the bar of soap and a shadowy man appeared on the glass screen.

  There before them was a 3D virtual recording of Vince, taken in the main room with the POD. He turned and smiled at them then went over to the POD and pressed five areas on the POD and then one place on the wall to the left of the POD. They watched as a small panel opened on the wall, the virtual recording then stopped.

  They rushed into the large room, over to the POD area, then waited for Cain.

  "Go on Toni, he's your friend, open the panel to get the message," said Cain. Toni followed the steps Vince had in the virtual recording, pushing the series of buttons, turning knobs then putting her hand on the wall. They waited, as a blue dot drew a line around a rectangle to the left of Toni's hand.

  A slight hiss sounded as the now highlighted rectangle swung open, there inside Toni found a laminated note. Toni read the note out loud,

  Toni, my friend my defender. How I wish I had not caught you up in this madness. I think JW knows I am an undercover fraud investigator, so will not mention this again. You must leave the Earth zone as quick as possible. Jason has set a huge trap, he has written a code to reboot the system on the guise of doing an update. This will happen only once somebody builds a Harem. Sorry about that, I think he caught a look at my notes, although he does not know the reason for the Harem.

  The reboot will put players into a hidden part of the system where they will stay until the endgame. Jason can only do this in the Earth zone, once you port out, you will be in a different zone and safe. The reboot will not affect those players in the process of re spawning. It would be best if we could message those players we know, give them a hint that being dead, awaiting re spawning would be a smarter option that resting before the system reboot.

  The clue is simple, go to the ancients, the time of myth. Fight and save the kingdom where the greatest warrior king originates. Protect the soon to be king from treachery within. Once done, find the temple to Athena, hidden among her own kind. There you'll find another clue and leave it all behind.

  "So how do we find the portal, we didn't get told that by Vince," Toni said. Toni folded the stiff piece of laminate and put it in her inventory. Cain was smiling at her and Bethany was pointing behind her, so Toni turned to look. There, within the former hidden box, which contained Vince's message, now sported a red flashing button. What the heck, better push this, what's the worst that can happen.

  Didn't expect that just yet, well here goes nothing. Toni pressed the button and waited for anything to happen. Turning around Toni looked at the others as the POD vibrated and shuddered as it lowered into the floor.

  It took nearly ten minutes for the POD to get beneath the floor level and a new set of marble tiles to slide out from the sides covering where the POD once stood.

  As the flooring clicked in place, a ring of bright blue LEDs lit the alcove, the POD had partly filled. Two seconds later another arc of LEDs lit, this time bright green followed two seconds by a red arc.

  Portal Activated

  There on the back wall was a diagram of a series of glyphs and writing flowed around a large oval shape, wide enough for three or more people to walk side by side, into the oval. Inside the oval was a pattern made of a pentagon with five circles at each vertex, inside the pentagon was a pentagram, each point intersecting with the vertex of the pentagon. Outside the pentagon was a single circle joined to the nearest circle with a thick line.

  “Now that is a strange-looking pattern,” said Lesley as she looked at the diagram.

  "Let's carefully step back," said Cain. He had noticed six lines of a smaller text flowed out from the bottom of the oval. They all stood and watched amazed as the writing and glyphs glowed a soft golden yellow, gently pulsing around the diagram. The Babes turned to look at Cain, who held his hands up saying,

  "I'm serious, I don't have the slightest idea of how we can do this. But I think it is of great significance, that there are six of us within six circles, all linked to the portal. Let's check each of the circles, let Toni and me look using Rahab and Enoch. Maybe they can shed light on this."

  {What is a portal, but a door, a gateway to somewhere not in your world. The game portals will allow a player to travel one game zone. The portals Vince coded will allow a group of players to choose their destination. The circles are all identical, apart from the circle on the front left. That has three extra glyphs.

  We could work out what they say if you give us two hours. Or you could use a trial-and-error method by standing on the circles. There are 6 of you, assuming there is no set order then there are 720 arrangements, that will take you about three hours to do each one. Assuming the last one is the one you need.

  Though from Vince's letter he makes an emphasis on Toni joining with a strong player, you. Taking you both as interchangeable the arrangements drop to 24.} Enoch informed Cain.

  [Enoch has told Cain everything regarding the permutations of where people stand on the circles. I think either you or Cain needs to stand on the first circle. That will hopefully activate something, and you will then have control over the doorway.] Rahab told Toni. Daphne asked Sophie, Bethany and Lesley,

  "Who are Enoch and Rahab, are they part of this party? I wouldn't have thought Cain was into guys. The three laughed as Sophie replied,

  "Toni and Cain have AIs attached to their brains, although I've not seen them acting all superior because of them. It's just that we don't talk about them in the game zone where we are always being watched and recorded. They give us, as the clan, an edge when we are planning and fighting. They are nothing to worry about. Although Toni tells us Rahab is into her responses when Toni has an orgasm. Rahab says Toni experiences what Rahab categorised as moments of bliss in her brain."

  Looking over at Cain, Toni received a nod and a big smile. Turning back, Toni walked over to the first circle on the left, when both feet were inside the tile edge she heard a click. A rose-coloured oblong, virtual control pad appeared from the floor, stopping just about the middle of Toni's waist.

  Looking closely Toni called Cain over so they could work out together, how to use the virtual control. A message scrolled across the digital screen. The system lines not connected, system powering down.

  “What do you think this means?” Toni asked.

  “Are there any lines of power going into the POD? Apart from those I don’t have a clue” Cain replied.

  Sophie had been looking at the floor and how there was a space which looked like a floor tile was missing. She noticed the floor pattern was wrong all jumbled up, some lines ended against blank floor tiles. Grabbing Bethany by the elbow she pulled her back and asked her to look at the floor too.

  They stood there looking and Lesley drifted over to them and joined in looking at the floor. Toni looked up while talking to Cain and noticed the DreamBabes stood outside the tiled area, looki
ng down at the floor.

  Asking what was wrong, Sophie told Toni the floor pattern was wrong, the lines don’t join correctly. Standing with her sisters, Toni noticed what Sophie was talking about.

  [It is a sliding puzzle. Can you go look at the pattern on the diagram?] Toni did as Rahab requested. [If you look at the pattern, I believe you have to move the floor tile to match the pattern represented in the diagram.

  Toni called Cain over and explained what Sophie had found.

  Working as a well-oiled team they moved the tiles under Rahab‘s directions. Twelve moves later after plenty of grunting and swearing when Lesley caught a finger between two of the tiles. When Sophie and Bethany pushed the last tile in place, they all watched as golden writing flowed around all the interconnected lines.

  Toni went back to the first circle and stood inside it. Again she heard a click as a rose-coloured oblong, virtual control pad appeared from the floor, stopping just about Toni’s waist. There was no message saying the system did not work and the control panel did not retract into the floor. Everybody was excited, Toni called Sophie over and whispered to her,. She told her Cain and herself would make love to Sophie, just the three of them once they had the time in the new game zone.

  With Enoch and Rahab's input, they worked out how to use the panel and activate the portal to take the six to the Greece 337 BC zone. Everybody made sure Daphne had a full set of equipment, combat clothes, boots, underwear and a hundred item inventory backpack.

  Enoch, how much longer before the next system warning on the countdown?

  {Approximately 4 hours and 23 minutes. There is just enough time if you could all fall asleep to allocate your points. If someone can't manage, then they will be out of sync, I suggest levelling up once you hit the next game zone.} Enoch replied.

  Toni stood on the main control circle and watched as the virtual control pad appeared again. Looking around and making sure they were all in their circles, Toni moved the activate slider to the right.

  Each pad lit up with a dull amber colour, which reminded Toni of the amber in a traffic light.

  Using the destination selector, Toni chose the Greece 337 BC zone. That was the zone she, Cain, Rahab and Enoch agreed could be the ancients, all other zones are futuristic or Europe of the eighteenth century.

  Toni moved a control slider setting the number using the portal to six, she then set their destination to Greece 337 BC. People and destination selected, Toni took a steadying breath as she moved the slider across to travel. All the pads flashed from amber to a burnt red, followed by a message on the virtual control panel.

  'Items in inventories prohibited. Items now marked in inventories, please put in the long-term storage container for your clan, anchored to this game zone. Then a new button appeared, saying 'press to accept the message.'

  Toni pressed the new button, causing the portal system the virtual control panel to disappear.

  "OK, looks like we have some marked items in our inventories that need to stay here," said Toni as she stepped out of the first circle. Everybody went through their inventories, placing the items the system had marked; they placed every single gun and rounds of ammunition they carried into the storage case. Although strangely they could keep the 40 mm HE rounds for the 40mm grenade launcher, but not the launcher. It pleased Cain about that choice, a grenade launcher without the accompanying M16 would be near useless.

  They could keep their battle helmets and body armour although the ceramic plates stayed in the zone storage box. First aid kits, and water they each kept. Cain also kept the Ratole pelts, Ratole fur and old gold coins.

  Returning to the portal, Toni stood on the first circle and reset the control panel, six travellers, Greece 337 BC and slid the active slider.

  The circles again went amber, then Toni moved the control slide to travel, each circle flashed a bright green before flashing a brilliant white, washing all colour from the room.

  If anyone had remained they would have noticed the lights in the shower room eventually turn off, followed by the lights in the large room, plunging the area back into pitch darkness. All apart from a dull light in the link corridor, coming from the stairwell lights. Eventually, those will turn off on the system reboot.

  Cain watched as Toni's hand moved over the virtual controls, he could feel the tension in each of his Babes. The emotional links they all now shared, flowing into him. Must be part of the gaming code, not something I've ever noticed when working with others before. Well here goes, let's see if it works this time?

  Cain knew it was not real, but he was sure he could feel every single atom of his body being split into a single stream when the light turned a brilliant white, then there was nothing but emptiness. No feelings no sight no sound and no smells.

  Welcome to Forsaken

  Welcome to this paper/virtual booklet, to help users in their playing of Forsaken.

  The largest fully immersive VRMMORPG game ever.

  Please ensure you strip out of your everyday clothing, before seating yourselves comfortably in your POD. Remember that the game is very realistic, you will feel everything, experience everything that your game avatar experiences.

  Lay back, clip on your breathing mask, attach your NL connector then close the POD lid, soon you will be ready to play.

  Remember to read the Warnings and Game Requirements sections at the end of this booklet.

  Game Overview

  Every single game zone is a flexible sandbox, ruled purely by physics. What that means for those who are new to physics-based games are the following.

  If you drop a person off a three-foot wall, they may get a sprained ankle if they land badly, drop them off a hundred-foot-high cliff. That player becomes a pancake and dies, re-spawn is not instantaneous. That is to prevent individuals or PvP clans from trying to find loopholes they can exploit.

  If you throw a Ping pong ball at a player, they will hit it back with a contemptuous swipe of their hand. Throw a car at them, and that player gets crushed and dies, re-spawn is not instantaneous. See the previous paragraph.

  You cannot punch through a wall if you try you will break your hand. Please do not try this with your head as your insurance company will count it as a purposeful attempt to end you the player’s own life.

  Respawn is not instantaneous. See the previous paragraph.

  You cannot breathe underwater without a snorkel, scuba gear or are in a submarine. The same as in space. Space is a vacuum and vacuum kills, re-spawn is not instantaneous.

  If a player kills themselves on purpose, to avoid a task/mission or a journey back to their starting point. The resultant re-spawn takes twice as long, plus you lose all your unassigned inventory and drop two levels.

  The game servers record a player into a minimum of six hours of real rest/sleep every fourteen hours of real-time playing. This equates to one hundred and forty hours of game time.

  You can choose where you take your break or sleep, there are three rest recreation zones. Zones where players can lay back to enjoy the sun, have meaningful relationships and enjoy life with no fighting, scheming, or solo quest play.

  Forsaken can be as challenging as you want or as relaxing, the way you play is up to you. Do you want to land the near extinct Blue Merlin, then once the extension, down loadable content of Pacific Fish Master for Forsaken Earth 2027 is loaded you can spend all your time experiencing fishing. The planned down loadable content, Jurassic Adventure will be released in the summer of 2036

  Want to visit a brothel, then Las Vegas is the town for you. In 2027, anything goes, literally anything and remember you feel it all, down to the tip of a tongue, you know where.

  Got s
tress from work or home life, either visit Earth 2027 and kill the bandits, thugs and mutant wildlife. Visit Mars and blow up asteroids or mountains.

  Ever thought about having sex while floating in space, then the Mars Space Station has rooms for adult use. The choice is yours, only in Forsaken can you do all these things.

  Want to play the quests and story lines, get ready for 10,000 hours of real time playing for just Earth 2027 alone.

  Game Play

  When you start Forsaken, you will only be able to select either of the following Zones. Earth, Greece or Mars. Two more Zones will become active as the game progresses. The World at the time of the French revolution, which includes all of Europe and the Twelve Colonies, will become active two weeks after the game launches.

  While we at Square Projekt Quality Red have already built the final Zone of gaming, you cannot yet play there. The Proxima Centauri Space Galaxy Zone. Players cannot access the zone until a minimum of eight months from the game launch has passed.

  Square Projekt Quality Red has managed the zones in such a way to make game play more rewarding. Square Projekt Quality Red will open different zones as the game progresses and producing several down loadable content additions. They believe allowing players to have time to experience the vast and complex worlds rather than flit between different Zones.

  The game server cores are scalable and are designed to hold initially three hundred million active online players at any one time, in each game zone server centre. Square Projekt Quality Red have eight server centres. A cool two point four billion players per zone. We promise never to run out of space for dedicated players.
