Visions Of Paradise Page 8

Reaching up, Mel cupped the back of her head, thrusting his tongue against hers as she thrust into his mouth, her hand slowly moving down over his stomach to his groin. Her fingers wrapped tight around his cock and his hips jerked involuntarily.

Pulling back, she shifted her gaze back to his burgeoning erection and Mel groaned under her scrutiny. It was sexy as hell. She was sexy as hell.

Leaning down, Milla ran her tongue along the purple veins running down his thick length. Pre cum glistened on the wide head and she smiled again. Slowly lowering her head, she stuck her tongue out, running the tip of velvety moisture over the glistening head of his cock.

Reaching down, she grasped his aching balls in her hands, gently kneading them with her fingers as she licked the tip of his rock-hard cock with her magical tongue. His cock grew heavy, his balls drawing up tight against him as his cock grew larger in her hand.

He inhaled sharply when she ran the tip of her tongue along one huge pulsating vein before circling the underside of the sensitive head. “Gods, Milla…” He groaned when she laved the tip of his cock, her tongue delving into the slit, tasting the salty pearl of pre cum with a moan.

Mel stiffened, his thighs tightened, his muscles growing stiff as he held himself still when everything in him urged him to grasp her hair and drive into her hot, silky mouth until he came.

When she finally wrapped her fingers around the base of his cock, drawing her hand up and down his shaft while she sucked him into her mouth, Mel finally lost control. Fisting his hands in her hair, he thrust into her mouth over and over until his head swam with the need to come inside her—but not like this.

Instinct took over after all, as he pulled her mouth from his aching cock, picked her up in his arms and carried her into the house. In the bathroom, he found a jar of petroleum jelly, most likely left over from Jonas’ grandmother. Whatever the reason for its presence, he was thankful he’d seen it the night before.

He carried her to his bedroom, ran into the bathroom and grabbed the jar, carrying into the bedroom.

Milla was still on the bed, the tip of her tongue touching her top lip as she stared at the jar in his hand. “What do you think you’re going to do with that?”

“I’m going to fuck you until you scream, love.” Mel grinned. “And then I might do it again.”

“Oh!” Her face darkened in a blush as cream slid from her channel, coating her already glistening curls.

Mel inhaled deeply, taking in her sweet scent. “You smell exquisite.”

“I smell like chlorine.” She wrinkled her nose.

“No.” He shook his head. “You smell like sin and sex and everything I ever wanted in a woman.”

He popped the cap off the jar, delving into it with two fingers, pulling out a generous glob.

“So,” she said, biting her lip as she stared at his coated fingers. “We’re just going to get right to it then…okay.”

“You’ll be fine.” Stop me if it’s something you don’t want. Just tell me to stop and I’ll find a way.” He would find a way if it killed him.

“Uh…okay.” She stared at his fingers as he approached her.

Mel wanted to laugh. She cared enough about him to let him do this thing when he hadn’t done one thing to make her ready. She thought him callous enough to do this thing without seeing to her pleasure first. He wasn’t quite sure if he should be amused or insulted. He set the jar down on the dresser and approached the bed.

“Should I get on my hands and knees, or what?” She bit her lip again. It was a telltale nervous trait that both pulled at his heartstrings and turned him on.

“Stay the way you are for now. Just lay back and close your eyes. I have a plan.”

  Chapter Seventeen

Milla wasn’t sure what to think. Did he plan to just ram that thing into her backside? Was he going to just give her a wham bam, thank you ma’am and expect her to enjoy it? Laying back, she took a deep breath. Well…she’d offered. She got herself into this. She would just have to wait and see what he had planned. She hoped he would at least prepare her enough that it wouldn’t hurt.

  “Are your eyes closed?”

  “You know they are.”

“No cheating. Don’t read me. I want everything to be a surprise. I want you to feel this before you pass judgment.”

“I’ll try.” She wasn’t sure she could do that. Milla’s eyes flew open when warm lips covered her right nipple. His cheeks hollowed out as he sucked on her breast. His hand reached across, tugging and twisting her other nipple.

What had he done with that glob of grease he’d had on his fingers? The thought barely formed when he shifted his mouth and his fingers from peak to peak.

Milla closed her eyes again and groaned. More cream slid from her channel to coat her thighs as Mel released her breast with a slight pop and slid down her body. Gently, he shouldered her legs apart and settled between them.

Parting her labia with his fingers, he swiped his tongue the length of her wet cleft, taking a moment to circle the hard bud of her clit with his tongue. Milla bucked and screamed when he sucked the little bundle of nerves into his mouth, biting gently as he sucked and licked at her too-sensitive flesh.

Heat built within her. New heat. It was the same as with Jonas, but different. Strange fissures of pure fire surged hotly through her blood as he thrust two fingers inside her, curling them upward and massaging that ball of nerves deep inside.

White lightning shot through her mind, her blood, as she came, her body’s cream soaking his fingers as he continued to massage that strange knot of nerves that had her body convulsing beneath him.

Ever so slowly, he shifted his hands beneath her, one slick finger finding her back hole. He inserted it slowly, moving it, stretching her. After a moment there was another, then still another until he had three of his thick fingers inside her, stretching her ass, readying her for what was to come next.

Giving her clit, one last swipe of his tongue, Mel lifted himself up, taking her hips in his strong hands.

“I’ll roll over. I’m too heavy for you.” The last thing Milla wanted after the man gave her one of the most powerful orgasms of her life, was to remind the man that she was no skinny woman he could lift and carry at whim. It was a wonder he didn’t break something carrying her up to this room.

“One thing you need to learn about shifters, Milla, is that we’re strong.” He met her gaze so she would know he was telling her the truth. “We are very strong. You aren’t too heavy for me. Stop worrying about it.”

Gently, he lifted her, placing the thick head of his cock at her back entrance. Milla couldn’t wait. She wanted this—even needed it. She couldn’t wait to feel him filling her, taking away the heat. At that precise moment, it didn’t matter which part of her he decided to ender, just so long as he hurried up about it.

Burning heat washed through her as he leaned forward. The head of his cock, larger than his three fingers, forced its way inside her. Milla did her best to relax, even bore down a bit, trying to help.

She wanted this, almost as much, maybe even more, than he did. The heat inside her grew intense, burning her from the inside out and she wanted nothing more than to assuage the hunger of whatever beast caused it.

Mel rocked behind her, his breath coming in short pants as he pressed himself deeper and deeper until she finally felt his hips against her ass. He was in! Squeezing her eyes tight, she tried to relax and let her muscles give in to his invasion.

Slowly, ever so gently, Mel leaned down and kissed her back. “I love you. I know it sounds impossible. We only met two days ago, but there it is. Something in the el calor must drive mates together, make them feel these impossible emotions so fast.”

He slowly pulled out before pushing back in with a groan. “Gods, you’re so hot and tight.” Mel moved in and out of her, slowly at first, then faster and faster until she thought she would lose her mind with the pleasure and sensations wa
shing through her. Just when she knew she could take no more, Mel reached between her legs, his expert fingers unerringly finding her clit and strumming it gently.

It was what Milla needed to take her flying over the edge of another explosive orgasm and she screamed as Mel joined her, shooting the warmth of his climax into her ass, bathing her insides with the hot ropes of his jetting release.

Milla collapsed face down on the bed. “Holy crap. I think I’m too old for this. You guys are going to kill me.”

Three days later, she stood in the Beat The Clock Diner, piling her plate high at the buffet bar. “What do you mean the man is a dream stalker? What the hell is that?” Milla asked one of the women she’d just met at the diner. She wasn’t sure, but she thought the woman introduced herself as Samantha.

“Just what I said, Milla.” The other woman, who was very pregnant piled her plate full of bacon, eggs and sausage. “The man gets into your dreams. He reads what’s there. That’s how he appeared to be the man of your drams. He knew what you wanted and pretended to be that.”

  “H-how do you know?”

“Because my sister and I have stalked the dreams of our enemies. We can feel that energy in him.” Her expression blank, she turned and walked to the table where she and her mates sat. Luckily, it was next to Milla’s table, which was how they met and started the conversation in the first place.

“I take it you don’t want to talk about that,” Milla ventured.

“I’d rather not.” The other woman smiled as she glanced at her mates. “I don’t like thinking about my life before Paradise.”

Milla looked at the group and pressed her lips together. This certainly was a strange town with its threesome marriages and men who liked to share their women no matter what size or color they were.

Samantha was thinner than Milla. She was quite a bit thinner with darker skin and an even darker past, if her attitude meant anything at all.

“So what does a dream stalker do?”

“They can make you fall asleep and keep you that way. They can walk in your head while you sleep. They can see your wants, your hopes, your very dreams. Whatever you know, they know and they can use it to their advantage.”

“Can they…” Stopping, Milla placed a hand against her throat. “Can they see things that I know about other people as well?”

“Sure.” Samantha took a bite of her bacon and chewed it thoughtfully. “Like I said, they know what you know. If they’re searching your head for it, it won’t matter how deep it’s buried, they’ll find it.”

Milla turned to her men. She smiled. I like the thought of that. My men. She took a moment to soak in the love she could feel radiating from them in much the same way Samantha’s mates’ love radiated off them. This room was filled with love for anyone that could feel it. Lucky for Milla that she could feel it surrounding her, wrapping her in invisible arms of warmth and protection.

“That’s why Perry wants me, isn’t it?” she asked no one in particular.

Jonas nodded. “I’m afraid so.” He stood up, rounded the table, bent and took her in his arms. “It’s not your fault. You didn’t know he could do such a thing.”

No. She hadn’t known, but she should have suspected. She should have read it in him when he touched her, but she’d been so intent on not reading people that she’d neglected to see what was right before her eyes.

“He’s never going to let me go, is he?”

“He’ll have to,” Mel said with a growl. “You’re our mate. You belong here with us and here is where you’ll stay.” He bowed his head. “So long as that’s your choice,” he said with a shrug, shifting his gaze to his plate. “As much as the el calor attempts to coerce us into forcing you to stay. We can’t. It would pollute our bond.”

“I like knowing I have a choice.” She paused, thinking. “But I really don’t have a choice. I’m a victim of the el calor just as surely as you are.” She sat down, her gaze encompassing everyone at the table. “I’m making my choice now in front of witnesses. I choose you two as my mates. I want to complete the ritual with you and I won’t have any other. If anyone tells you different they’re lying.”

Perry would get her back in that carnival over her dead and decomposing body. Looking down at her plate, her stomach growled. She was starving. Milla ruthlessly stabbed her eggs and a piece of sausage and shoved the bite in her mouth.

What was wrong with her? She’d never been so hungry in her life!

  Chapter Eighteen

Jonas stared across the room at his mate. The alpha, having granted her and her friends asylum, stood in the corner surrounded by his mates. Each of them held a cup of coffee.

A set of identical twins played in the corner, occasionally attracting the attention of their parents. Mel looked at the new little alpha and his brother and felt a surge of protection for the young ones. Power radiated off them, much like it did their father, Adam.

The plan was to let the carnival stay in town for the festival. They could handle any danger this Perry could present. The three women from the carnival would stay in the lodge, even Milla. It, of course, meant that he and Jonas would stay there as well, but it would be easier to protect them there. After all, the sheriff’s mate, Gemma owned the place.

They had one more night in his home. This night, with Milla’s blessing, they would complete their bond and they would bring her fully into their world. By this time tomorrow, she would be leoparo and they would have a mental as well as a physical bond with her. Such a bond would only ensure her safety.

He glanced at the other two women, wondering if they were also mates to a shifter. At least one of them had a psychic power that she needed to learn to control. The other, he wasn’t quite sure. Though being psychic wasn’t necessary to being a mate, he was sure it couldn’t hurt.

He glanced at Mel, trying to get the other man’s attention. It was getting late and this was the last night they would spend in the seclusion of his home for at least ten days. If they were going to complete their bond, tonight was the night to do so.

I’ve been trying to wave you over here for the last twenty minutes, he said through their mind link. If we’re going to mate Milla tonight, we need to go. We’ll be in the hotel tomorrow and while we could do it there, for some reason I would rather do it in our home.

Mel glanced at him with surprise. Did you just say, our home?

Of course I did. Where did you expect us to stay—at the boarding house? He shook his head. Look, as much as it might pain you to know this, I really don’t have anything against you. You’re a good man. That’s why I saved your life in the first place. I just don’t like the fact that you’re an ungrateful prick. So what if I’m not an all-shifter. There wasn’t one available to give you blood. Would you rather be dead?

Ending his conversation, Mel crossed the room, drawing Milla’s attention along the way. She began to follow him. She was a smart girl. She knew they only had tonight and she was as eager to end the painful burn as they were.

“You’re right. I am an ungrateful prick,” Mel said as he stopped in front of him. “Can we bury the proverbial hatchet?”

Jonas studied the other man. He was sincere. He could see it in his stance and the expression on his face. “What the hell…why not?” He held out his hand.

Mel took it and pulled him into a short hug. “Thanks for saving my life, man. I bet you’d have thought twice about it if you’d have known you’d have to share a mate with me.”

“No, actually, I wouldn’t. I would still save your sorry ass because Milla needs you. As much as any of us might hate to admit it, our mates need us as a unit. They wouldn’t be as happy. Together, we can make Milla happier than either of us could on our own.” Jonas believed that just as surely as he believed the sun would rise the next morning.

“Are we ready to leave?” Milla asked as she walked up and stepped between them. Wrapping an arm around their waists, she smiled up, alternately
rubbing the length of her body against them. “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m tired. I think it’s time for bed.”

“Yeah, me too.” Mel moved toward the door, pulling them behind him. “Besides, we have to pack.”

Leaving, they made their way back to the house. Milla’s things were still packed and Jonas always kept a bag in case he needed to leave town in a hurry. Rescues didn’t always come with a warning.

Mel was the only one who’d need to pack and he’d need to do that the next day. His things were at the boarding house.

“How long do you think it will take to pack your things and get them over to the lodge, Mel?”

“Not long. Most of my things are still in my duffle bags. I never bothered to unpack.”

“You’ve been living out of a suitcase for several years?”

Mel shrugged. “I lived out of those bags for the twenty years I was in the Army. I’m used to it.”

“Nobody should ever get used to that.” Milla climbed into his truck, slid to the center of the bench seat and fastened her seatbelt. “I know. I’ve lived that way for the last few months and it sucks. I never should have sold my trailer. It was my home.”

“You have a new home now, love.” He leaned over, pressed a quick kiss to her cheek and started his truck. Glancing at Mel, he said,” We’ll go to my house tonight. You’re of a similar size. You can wear something of mine tomorrow to go get your things.”

“Great.” Mel said as he climbed in and shut the door. “Now, can we get back to the house and get busy?” He pressed his hand against his stomach. “The burn is coming back.”

  Chapter Nineteen

Jonas threw his keys on the table next to the door when they entered the dark house. He barely waited for Mel to close the door behind them before he took her in his arms, pulling her tight against his aching body.
