“I’ll try for you,” was all she said. Her AI murmured that it was all linked, that answering her father’s call would give her power over Indexiv. Grasping the truth of it was beyond her.

Isaac had little more to say. The twins were already busy in the Cloud attempting to score Leak.

“We will be gone soon,” said Isaac. “We’re free to move now, to hide in plain sight. We will help against Indexiv and Euros. If you need us, just think it loudly.” He smirked.

Helena left the hotel behind, the Hound once again gently snoring on the floor in the common room. Tomorrow she would have to be in work. The next day she would have to watch as they began the funerals for the dead, and then her Uncle would come home and find his Hound missing.

Still, she thought, as she took the hopper to go home, I’ve got the rest of today to myself.

Not entirely, said her AI, and they began to think about how she would do what she had promised her father.

  Thank you!

If you enjoyed this book, help others to, too!

Reviews are the most powerful weapons in a small publisher’s arsenal when it comes to generating awareness of our books. We’d love to have an ad on the London Underground and a gravelly-voiced video advert playing all over the internet, but that costs money we don’t (currently) have.

That’s why you, our dedicated readers, are so important. Big publishing houses will have their fans, but we like to believe that ours are dedicated to reading the next book in the Hotston Oligarchy series, or catching up on the misery Sylvester likes to inflict upon Blaise Maximillian.

Honest reviews of our books mean that other readers find them. If they’re full of 5* reviews, 4* reviews, 3* if you like, they will entice other readers and get them to buy. Even 1* reviews can help, as everyone likes to discuss a 1*. So if you didn’t like the book, please still take the time to write an honest review.

If you did enjoy the book, we would be very grateful if you could spend just five minutes leaving a review - as short as you like - on the book’s Amazon page.

Better still, tell your friends about us the book

Thank you very much, Stewart and the AR team.
