Cherishing Brianna [Fate Harbor 5] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 14

That was where Butch found them. “There’s my girls. Brianna, you have two gentlemen who are looking kind of ragged, sitting out in the living room. They want to talk to you. Betty and I are going to bed.”

“We are? I want to stay up and listen in.” Butch grabbed his wife’s hand and brought it to his lips.

“We are going to bed. It’s been a long day, and we’re giving our daughter some time with her men. And again, I want to reiterate. You only get one man, and that man is me.” Brianna watched the expression of love that transformed Betty’s face as she looked up at Butch.

“Oh Butch, I could never want anyone more than I want you. Let’s go to bed.” They walked out of the kitchen to the living room with Brianna reluctantly following them. God, she wanted a love like theirs, but she knew that was never going to happen for her. Charlie and Zac stood up as they entered the room.

“Good night, everyone. Brianna, lock up when you leave.” Caca, in Butch’s mind it was a done deal she was leaving with one or both of the men. She looked over at them. They had been sitting next to one another on the couch. It was the first time she had seen them together, and it was overwhelming. Light and dark, lean and broad, both with eyes that seemed to lock her in place.

“Want to explain that text, Brianna?” Charlie’s voice rumbled against her raw nerves. Zac seemed to instinctively know, because he put his hand on Charlie’s arm.

“Angel, we’re here because we’re worried about you.” It might be a nicer tone of voice, but in some ways, that phrase upset her even more than Charlie’s growl.

“Why are you both here?” There was no way in hell they should both be here together, sitting on her parent’s couch. Well now standing in front of it, she amended. They looked so big standing there together. They looked like the stuff of dreams.

Charlie opened his mouth to speak then turned to Zac. Oh God, she couldn’t take it if they were really going to act with a united front. They would be unstoppable.

“Angel, we’re both here, because we both care about you, because we both have something to say to you.” Fluff!

“Brianna.” Charlie glared at Zac. “Look, can we go back to your apartment? I don’t want to talk while your father is basically listening at the bedroom door.”

“If you think he was interested in listening in our conversation when he headed down the hallway, then you don’t have the people sense to be sheriff,” Zac said with laughter in his voice. Brianna watched as Charlie’s face flushed, and he reached his hand around the back of his neck to rub the muscles back there.

“Look, Carmichael, it’s been over twenty years since I’ve had to sit in a girl’s parent’s living room. It wasn’t all that much fun then, and it isn’t now.” Charlie walked around the coffee table and stood in front of her. She could feel the heat emanating from him. “Give me your hands.” There was never any question. She continued to look up into his sky blue eyes, and gave him her hands. “They’re cold, Brianna.” His voice was a hushed whisper. Even as she kept her eyes locked on Charlie’s, she knew every step Zac took that brought him around to her other side.

His hands landed gently on her shoulders and brushed the hair down her back so that he could stroke the delicate lines of her neck. Brianna’s entire body shivered.

“God, Brianna, you really are cold, come here.” Charlie pulled her against his body and wrapped his arms around her.

“Not cold,” she muttered into his chest.

“You were trembling.” She heard Zac’s chuckle from behind her.

“Yes, explain that to us, Angel. Tell Charlie why you’re shivering in a house that has the thermostat set to the level of the tropics.” She snorted into Charlie’s shirt. Zac was right. It seemed that with every decade Butch and Betty aged they needed the house one degree higher in heat.

  “Brianna, you’re not cold?”

“You still haven’t answered my question. Why are you both here?” Charlie clutched her closer. She could feel his hesitation.

“Brianna, can we go to your apartment, or one of our houses, to discuss this?” Zac’s voice ran over her like soothing honey over a sore throat. She burrowed closer to Charlie’s chest, and then felt Zac’s hand stroke down the line of her back. She was doomed. Olivia’s voice kept haunting her, but not in the schizophrenic way, more in the annoying big sister way.

“My apartment.” She wanted a place where she was more in control, a place she could demand they leave. And they would, she never had any doubt of that, both of these men were honorable, and they made her feel safe. It was all too rare for her to feel safe. Yet one more reason for her to leave, she was getting attached. Oh hell, she was more than attached. Please, God, hopefully they weren’t. Her head jerked away from Charlie’s chest.

“Wait a damn moment. You’re acting too damn chummy.”

“Angel, we need you to go to your apartment with us, we can sort out everything there.” She could feel the enamel on her back teeth being ground down.

“Fine.” She pulled out of Charlie’s arms, careful to step sideways so that she didn’t run back into Zac. “I’m driving Sam’s truck. You two can follow me.” She picked up her purse on the way out of the house.

As she slammed the door to the big black truck, her first instinct was to just pour on the speed, but she quickly threw that idea out the window, since it was the sheriff who was going to be following her. What’s more, to tell the truth, she really wasn’t the speeding type. That first night had been a total anomaly. But damn it, they were trying to back her into a corner, and she didn’t appreciate it one little bit.

As she drove along the dark road surrounded by evergreen trees, she kept her eyes peeled for deer, but at the same time she imagined being backed into a corner by both men at the same time. She shivered. Four hands slowly slipping her clothes off her body, touching her everywhere. She squirmed in the seat of the truck, as she felt her nipples harden, her panties dampen. Brianna groaned out loud. She turned on the truck radio.

By the time she got to the little parking lot behind the bakery, she was feeling all kinds of hot and bothered. There was no way those two alpha males could be talking about a ménage. Especially not Charlie Meade. What was more, even if they were, she was leaving tomorrow. At least, that had been her plan before talking to Butch and Betty. Fluff, everything was so confused. She had had a plan, and now everything had gone to caca.

What was worse, she wasn’t even swearing right, and that was pretty damned annoying, too! She was so going to kick Sam and Chance’s collective asses the next time she saw them. Zac’s veterinarian SUV pulled up on the right side of her truck, while Charlie’s restored Mustang pulled up on the driver’s side of her truck. Again, she was boxed in. Oh yeah, this was peachy. She slammed out of the truck, and made a beeline for the apartment stairs. Both men followed her, neither one of them talking.

When she went to put the key into the door, Zac was there, his hand out, silently requesting that she allow him to do the honors. God save her from the courtesy of gentlemen, it made her melt. She stepped back, and he unlocked the door. Charlie went in first, and did a quick sweep of the interior, like he had done every night he had come over to her apartment. Thank God she had actually locked the apartment. When he was satisfied, he motioned for the two of them to come in. She looked up at Zac through her lashes, and he had a subtly amused expression on his face. When he caught her looking, he smoothed his hand down her red curls. “It’s his training, Angel. He’s a warrior, a protector, just like I’m a healer.”

She closed her eyes, she didn’t know if it was to savor the caress or the words. She still had her eyes closed when she felt Charlie step up into her personal space. His presence was overwhelming, but not in a bad way. If they were going to be together, was this how it would always be, Zac at her side, her partner supporting her, Charlie standing over her, pushing her limits, challenging her? Forcing her to push back? Probably. And she would love every minute of it.

  “Explai
n it to me, Brianna. Explain why, after you made love to us, you decided you needed to run away.”

“I wasn’t. I told you from the start that this was temporary.” It took everything she had to stand her ground. She had promised both of them three months and here she was trying to leave in the dead of night after only five weeks. Charlie just lifted an eyebrow. He didn’t say a word. Finally she couldn’t stand it. She had to fill the silence. “Look, there isn’t future with either one of you. I didn’t want to lead you on. What’s more, I have never in my life had crossover sex.” Zac let out a bark of laughter.

“Crossover sex? What are you talking about, Angel?”

“I had sex with you right after I had sex with Charlie. It was crossover sex!” she wailed. “I should never have done that. You both deserved better than that.” She tried to move away from them, but they just closed in on her, until she was sandwiched between them.

“Never once did I say we were exclusive Brianna. I wanted to, but we discussed this, and I made it clear that we weren’t.” Charlie placed his hands on her hips and drew her into his hips, and she felt his erection.

“I knew about Charlie. I was jealous as hell, but I knew about him.” Zac pressed up against her ass, and she felt his aroused body.

“You owe us seven more weeks.” Charlie bent down and gave her a slow, sensual kiss. It was unlike any other Charlie kiss. It seduced and wooed, he pulled her forward, causing her back to arch, and she knew he was purposely pushing her ass back toward Zac. Her blood heated, her head spun. She flung her arms around Charlie’s neck, and pulled him toward her, dying to get him closer, their tongues tangling. He tasted so good. She ground her ass against Zac, and then she felt his hands reach forward, and he lightly teased the bottom of her breasts. It wasn’t enough, but the barely-there touches drove her wild. They seemed to zing straight to her pussy. She moaned into Charlie’s mouth.

She broke away, panting wildly. “This won’t change my mind. I have to leave. You don’t understand.”

“Then explain it to us,” Zac whispered into her ear.

  “No.”

“Then we’re going to do everything in our power to convince you to stay. Not just for our sake, but for yours as well. You need your family, and what’s more they need you. Didn’t you see how Olivia lit up with you by your side? Didn’t you see how everyone gravitated to you at the reception? Brianna, they need you here.”

Oh God, maybe now, maybe when she still seemed whole, maybe when she was well. All of her desire seemed to dry up, literally. Both of the men felt it.

“Brianna, one day at a time. Okay, just take it one day at a time. Your mind is going into a future that you just don’t know is going to happen yet. Can you just relax into the present? Can you just sit down with us?” She looked up into Charlie’s eyes, and he nodded and turned her toward Zac. She looked up into the bronze eyes of a healer. But he couldn’t heal her.

“I might not be able to heal whatever is hurting you, but I can help take away your pain right now. Charlie and I both want to give you comfort and joy. Would you allow us to do that?” How could he see into her soul so clearly? He’d been doing that from the start. It had made her so uncomfortable, but now she just felt warmth spread through every pore of her body.

Zac’s hands moved so that they now brushed up and were stroking the tips of her breasts. It wasn’t enough sensation, and she needed more, because the thin sweater and bra were too much of a barrier. She saw Zac nod, and then she felt Charlie start to pull her sweater up. Zac’s hands moved, and it was off and flung across the room. Zac’s fingers were delicate and methodical as they unhooked the front clasp of her bra, like he was in surgery. The dichotomy of the two men only served to once again ramp up her desire.

“You, Charlie,” Zac said as he pulled the bra down Brianna’s arms. Brianna didn’t know to be disappointed or happy. How did he know that Charlie was—all thought fled as his big hands enveloped her breasts and squeezed…hard. She groaned. She pressed into his hands and looked deeply into Zac’s eyes and saw his them glow with satisfaction. Then Charlie started to squeeze her nipples. “More. Please, more.” She was gasping, pulling backward, forcing him to tug on her turgid tips.

“Enough. We’re taking her to the bedroom.” Her eyes had drifted shut, and now they snapped open to see Zac’s fierce expression. Charlie’s hands dropped, and Zac swung her up into his arms. The room spun, and she looked over his shoulder and saw Charlie’s expression was a mirror of Zac’s. Oh God.

They needed to talk. They needed to understand this wasn’t going to solve anything. She needed to leave. But she so wanted this. It was more than anything she could have ever hoped for, ever dreamed of. How could she deny herself? But she had to try one more time. She couldn’t bear the idea of disappointing either of these two men.

“Please. You have to listen to me, this won’t change anything.” Zac set her down in the middle of her bed. Both men stripped off their shirts, and her mouth went dry, but she continued on. “I care so much, too much. I beg you, don’t let me hurt you.”

“Oh, Brianna, you can’t hurt me, you can’t hurt us.” Charlie rested his knee on the bed. He pushed her hair away from her face, and wiped a tear off her cheek. “We’ve talked about this. Even if this is our last night with you, it’s worth it.” He meant it. She could see he actually meant it. She looked over at Zac, and again she saw that his expression mirrored Charlie’s. What had she done to deserve these two men? But then she pushed herself up on her elbows.

“Wait just a minute.” She brushed another tear off her face. “I’m still not sure how it is that you two are okay with a ménage.”

“For you, Angel, we will do just about anything. Now lie back down.” He stroked down her torso and reached for the button on her jeans.

“Not anything, remember that part, Brianna.”

“Yeah, I’m reading you Meade, loud and clear.” God that man could make her laugh. She loved that about him. As she was laughing, Zac managed to get her clothes off. There she was, on the bed, naked, with the two sexiest men she had ever met.

“You’re wet, beauty. I can see your lips shining from here.” She closed her eyes, trying to decide if she was mortified or aroused at his statement. “Spread her, Zac. I need to see more. She has the prettiest pussy I’ve ever seen.” She was aroused, definitely aroused. She felt herself get even wetter in the seconds it took for Zac to reach between her legs and spread them open. “Look at me, Brianna.” She opened her eyes and looked into hot blue eyes. “He’s going to eat your pussy while I suck your tits.” Oh fuck.

As if they were somehow connected, both mouths touched her at the exact same moment, causing her to yelp. Charlie’s mouth sipped slowly at her breast, something she wasn’t expecting, while his other hand plucked ever so lightly at her nipple. But after the sublimely harsh treatment in the living room, it rocked her senses. Then there was the way that Zac had her pussy lips spread wide, and she felt the warmth of his tongue as it lapped at her entrance, all the way up to her clit. But he didn’t touch the nub of nerves, instead he circled around it, and then slowly traced back down her inner labia to her slit.

She arched up on her shoulder blades and feet, trying to get closer to each man’s mouth, but they pushed her down, again both of them working in perfect harmony. Zac lifted his head. “You are not in control tonight. We are. We are in charge of your pleasure. We tell you when you come, and how many times you come. Are we clear?” She looked from bronze eyes to blue eyes, and nodded. Somehow she relaxed. It was just for the night, and the idea of giving herself over to their care sounded divine.

  * * * *

Zac did what he always did. He let his emotions wash over him. It was the best way he found to get to the heart of the matter. He felt the absolute joy of the moment, and his sense of determination, and his gut-wrenching fear. He couldn’t let Brianna get away from him. Not when he had finally found her. He looked into her eyes and saw them go liquid as he demand
ed her compliance. She liked that, and he found he did as well. She needed it, and that’s why he liked it. He wanted to always give her what she needed.

He looked down at her sex splayed open. Her nectar was ambrosia. Just tasting her soothed him, and her whimpers gave him a bone-deep sense of satisfaction. He really didn’t care if it was because of him or Charlie. All that mattered was that this woman, this woman who he knew had been injured and abused, was pleasured and loved.

The taste of her, the scent of her, went to his head like some kind of narcotic. The idea of this being their last time together was intolerable. He knew to the very depths of his soul—that part of him that had awakened when he was brought back to life on the riverbank—that this could not possibly be the end. As soon as he realized that, he calmed. That part of his psyche had never let him down, not in the twelve years since his near-death experience.

He also knew this did not mean that the struggle was over. He still felt that there were many obstacles to overcome. In fact it was not clear if things would work out, but he knew that right now and for the next seven weeks she would be in his life as she originally promised. He thrust two fingers into her tight cunt and she shouted. This time he knew it was because of him that she was crying out, and he felt a roar of satisfaction rush through him. He hooked his fingers, and found that spot that had her pushing harder against him, trying desperately to push her pelvis upward, but he wouldn’t allow it. “Zac.” His name came out as a whisper, feeding a feral something inside him.

He wrapped his lips around her distended clit, and laved over the smooth, delicate flesh. This time he barely heard her as she whispered his name. He continued to stroke and sip, enjoying the way this woman he was coming to adore writhed against him. Lost in the pleasure of pleasing Brianna, it took a moment to hear Charlie.

“Now, Zac.” And he became painfully aware of just how much he needed. He brushed against her sweet spot harder and started sucking on her clit, and he felt a deep trembling in her body, then a quaking, and finally all that arching and writhing stopped, like a balloon with the air suddenly let out. Both men stopped to look up, and there she was lying on the pillows with a contented smile on her face. But within seconds it changed, and arms that had been spread wide now reached out to grip the back of Charlie’s neck and Zac’s hair.
