This book took me far too long to write. Not because the story was difficult, or I had writer’s block, but mostly because life got in the way. Deke and Dixie did a fine job of cooperating in telling their story, and whenever I managed to sit with my keyboard, the words mostly flowed. I hope this experience has taught me to manage my commitments better, because there are a few more characters back in Moreover who are chattering to also get their stories told.
First, I have to give credit to the Big Kahuna, who supports my writing so much it astounds me. He’s an incredible guy, and I have no idea where he gets the patience for my weird hours, lack of time to spend with him, and sometimes lack of attention even when I am with him. I love you, BK!
My support team is amazing! Faith Andrews has always been my biggest cheerleader, and is also the first one to let me know I’ve slacked off long enough. That girl’s stuck with me for life! The Indie Chicks Rock authors is such a terrific group of talented women, and we all bring something unique to the table. We are also all wonderfully encouraging of each other’s work. I’m quite certain I wouldn’t be where I am today without their guidance and support.
