Their Confession Page 10

  “I love you too.”

“You…sexy…fucking…bitch,” he said with each slam.

She couldn’t help but laugh. “And you’re a dirty, kinky bastard, Mr. Milano.”

“Always.” His expression was as serious as ever. “You ain’t seen nothing yet, Miss Woods.”

She squeezed her lids shut. Fuck! How much kinkier could he get? Could it get any better? Moving in and out of her endlessly, she wasn’t sure how much more she could take. The intensity shot through her, making her whimper. The width, length, and speed of his rhythm was beginning to make her legs weak. She clung onto his shoulders for support. Her inner muscles throbbed and clenched around him.

  “I’m close…” she panted.

A part of her needed to escape, to suck in fresh air. She was burning up. Sweat dripped from both of their bodies, causing them to slide against one another. She couldn’t control the erratic beating of her heart. The other side of her made her stay put, to wait for the orgasm that was seconds away from tearing into her.

“Me too.” He threw his head back, clenching his teeth.

He slammed into her so fast she was being slammed against the wood. She grabbed his buttocks, and forced him into her deeper, rocking her hips to meet his thrusts.

“I can’t breathe…” her tone was quiet and weak. Her head was spinning.

  “Almost there.”

As he pounded into her a few final times, she exploded. Wave after wave of pleasure rippled through her, and she feared she’d faint from the intensity. Crying out and shuddering, she allowed the climax to completely take over her. Darion’s teeth were clamped into her shoulder to suppress his loud groans. Then he came and she could feel him throbbing and jerking, emptying into her.

  “Fuuuuckkk…” he roared.

Fully satisfied, he collapsed onto the bench, his head dropping in his hands as he gasped for air. Gabi tried to steady her heartbeat and deepen her shallow breaths. She couldn’t. She became claustrophobic in the small space. Smoothing her hair back, she silently prayed the showers were free of people. She stepped out of the sauna and inhaled deeply. The cool air hit her like a sharp slap in the face, but it was nice.

Darion pushed her towards the showers. Once under the cold water, she groaned inwardly. It was heavenly. She thought she’d explode from the heat in the sauna. She knew her face must have been red as a tomato. As the water rained down on her, Darion in the shower nearby, she couldn’t help but giggle. That was some session. As usual, Darion had given her a mind-blowing fuck.

Stealing a glance at him, she saw a smug grin on his face. It had obviously been just as good for him too. He slicked his hair back with water, and she watched as droplets fell down his smooth chest. Could he be any sexier? She could easily allow him to ravage her again.

When she built up the courage, she lifted her head to survey the swimming pool. A couple of giggling girls were watching Darion. The pool was busier than when she’d first arrived. As a man caught her stare, she turned away quickly, hoping nobody guessed what she and Darion had been doing in the sauna.

The doors to the steam room burst open and a man and a woman fled out, gasping for air. Their faces were as red as hers, and so her shoulders relaxed. It couldn’t be that obvious what she and Darion had been doing then.

“I’m gonna have a dip before we have our treatments.” Darion brushed his lips against hers.

“Okay. I’ll be in the Jacuzzi.”

He charged toward the pool and smoothly dived into the water. He swam underneath it and eventually resurfaced in front of the girls. Rolling her eyes in amusement, Gabi stepped into the warm, bubbling water of the Jacuzzi. She submerged her entire body and closed her lids. It was perfection. She shut out the noise from the talking couple beside her, and allowed the bubbles to soothe her muscles.

The last time she had been in a Jacuzzi was at The Black Door with Darion and Audrina. She’d been trying out the playrooms. She remembered how jealous she’d been when he’d kissed Audrina passionately. She thought now the club was sold, and Darion wasn’t leading the lifestyle of a swinger, that she’d feel more secure. How could she have believed that being with Darion could be anything other than unpredictable and crazy? He was still a complex man, a puzzle she wanted to solve. A man she wanted a future with. A man she wanted all to herself. However, although he had declared his love for her, it seemed she didn’t have all of him. There were always obstacles in the way.

  Chapter Eighteen

“That massage was so good I almost fell asleep,” Darion said, wrapping his lips around his fork and chewing a piece of steak.

  “Same here,” Gabi agreed.

Their treatments had been so relaxing. They had both received a full body massage and a facial. Gabi could still smell the sweet lotions they had applied to her skin, which was smoother than ever.

  “How’s your food?”

  “Delicious.”

They were sat in the hotel’s restaurant, eating and drinking wine. The tables were adorned with white and gold cloths, fancy silver cutlery, and a vase of white flowers in the centre. Laughter and chatter filled the air, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Gabi placed her fork down when she’d finished her meal, and took hold of Darion’s hand.

“I had a nice day today.”

“Me too.” He reached for his glass and took a long swig.

Gabi withdrew her hand and sat back in her chair. She’d noticed whenever Darion wasn’t busy, his mind seemed somewhere else. Although he tried to reassure her he was fine, she knew by his rigid posture, wandering eyes, and fidgeting hands that he was far from it. Usually calm and collected, he definitely wasn’t himself.

She wished she knew what was going on. Darion avoiding The Black Door especially didn’t make sense. Was it Eva he didn’t want to see? Had he been lying when he said he had never loved her? Was he having second thoughts?

Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Gabi decided to be straight with him. “Have you had any more thoughts on the opening party?”

His grip tightened on his fork, and his jaw clenched. “I’m not gonna have any more thoughts. I already told you I’m not going.”

“I thought you would have been over the moon about seeing everyone.”

“Gabi,” he leant toward her, his tone low, “drop it.”

“Is it because Eva will be there?”

His face didn’t flicker with worry. His eyes were devoid of emotion. Eva obviously wasn’t the issue. Normally, talking about Eva sparked a reaction in him. “You hated the place. Why are you so desperate to go?”

She paused for a moment before saying, “I feel like you’re hiding something from me.”

“What do you mean?” He placed his cutlery down and shoved a hand through his hair.

Straightening her posture, she looked him squarely in the eye. “Have you got something to tell me, Darion?”

“No, why?” His finger traced across his bottom lip and he wouldn’t look at her for longer than a couple of seconds.

Gabi’s blood boiled. There was more to it, she knew there was. Leaning into him, she said as confidently as she could, “Look me in the eye and tell me you’ve nothing to share.”

Ducking his head for a moment, he chewed his lip, the muscles in his neck taut. Then his steely gaze levelled to hers. “I’ve nothing to tell you.” He appeared so sincere she almost believed he was innocent with nothing to hide. Or maybe he was a convincing liar. “What’s brought all this on?”

Gabi rubbed her aching temples. She opened her mouth to question him about the calls and texts, and then decided against it. She needed time. If the texts were from Eva, or another woman, he didn’t have his mobile with him, making it easier for him to lie about whatever she asked. She needed to be clever about it. If she revealed she was onto him, then he could be extra careful with his mobile. No way did she want that. Lawrence had made a fool of her once, she wasn’t about to let it happen again.

  “Gabi,”
Darion said softly, taking hold of her hands. “Why are you being like this?”

“I just find it strange why you don’t want to go to the club.”

“If you really want to go to the opening, then we’ll go.”

“Let’s go then.” She wasn’t backing down.

He nodded. “Is that all this was about?”

“Yes,” she lied and blinked back tears. “And I’m just scared of losing you sometimes.” It was the truth. If she didn’t care about him so much, the situation she was in wouldn’t make her act so insane.

“I’m scared of losing you sometimes too.” She saw sadness and fear flash in his eyes.

  “Why would you lose me?”

He rubbed his brow as if to ward off a headache. “I found your engagement ring.”

  She swallowed.

“Why do you still have it?”

“You think I still love Lawrence?” Gabi shook her head, taken aback. “You think I kissed him because I still love him? Is that what you really think of me?”

“Why else would you have the ring?”

“I’d completely forgotten about the ring until yesterday when I found it. I asked Mallory to return it to Lawrence before we came here.” She sighed resignedly. “I can’t believe you think I’d be with you, whilst unsure if I loved someone else. I told you why I kissed Lawrence. You obviously didn’t believe me.”

A waitress interrupted them, asking if they wanted the dessert menu. Gabi declined. She had well and truly lost her appetite.

  Darion

Darion hated lying to Gabi, although technically he hadn’t lied. She had asked him if he had anything to tell her. He didn’t. He wouldn’t receive the hospital results for another week at least. There was no point in worrying her until he got the results.

Unbuttoning his shirt, he stared absentmindedly at the television, which was playing a chick-flick. They hadn’t been back in the room long, and Gabi had vanished straight to the bathroom. Tossing his shirt to the floor, he dropped on the bed and lay down. If only he hadn’t refused going to the opening party, then Gabi wouldn’t have been suspicious about him hiding something. She was probably getting her knickers in a twist thinking he was avoiding Eva, or something. What else could it be?

Clambering to his feet, he rummaged in his pocket for his cigarettes. Opening the box, he took one out and strolled toward the mini bar in the living room. He poured himself a large glass of whisky, and took it to the balcony. All he could hear was the sound of traffic below. Peering at the other balconies, he saw they were deserted. He hadn’t planned for his night to be sitting alone, torturing himself with ‘what ifs.’ What if the results weren’t good news? What if he lost Gabi? What if he’d made a complete mess of his life?

Stuffing the cigarette in his mouth and lighting it, he perched on the outdoor sofa. He took a long drag and blew out the smoke. He needed to make it up to Gabi. He should never have doubted her feelings for him. Her love for Lawrence had disappeared long before she met him, which is why she had gotten involved with him in the first place. Taking a few more puffs, he then stubbed the cigarette in the ashtray, and ambled toward the bathroom.

“Gabi.” He tapped gently on the door.

  “Yeah?”

Pushing the door open, he found her lying in the huge tub, eyes closed, surrounded by bubbles. Settling on the toilet lid, he watched her for a moment, marvelled at her perfect body, firm breasts, smooth stomach, and slender legs. His fingers ached with the need to reach out and touch her. He groaned inwardly, feeling himself getting aroused.

“Are you okay?” she asked, before opening her eyes.

  He nodded.

“I’ll be out in a minute,” she said drily, as if wanting him gone.

“Gabi,” he said softly, lowering to the floor, and crawling toward her. “I’m sorry I jumped to conclusions about the ring.” When she didn’t speak, he continued. “I got jealous, and it’s jealousy I’m not familiar with.” He took hold of her chin and turned her face to him. “This relationship stuff is fucking hard.”

“I know,” she agreed, closing her lids again.

Unable to resist, Darion placed his fingertips on her breast, and stroked circles around her nipple. It stiffened under his touch. His mouth watered with the need to taste it. Seeing Gabi wriggling slightly, her lips parting, he took it as a sign she wouldn’t refuse him. Leaning over her, he sealed his mouth over her breast, and sucked gently. Her low moans made his cock throb, wanting her desperately. Swirling his tongue around her areola, his hand sunk under the water. He massaged between her legs, causing her breathing and groans to get louder.

“Do you want me to join you?”

She looked at him, her brown eyes filled with lust and hunger for him. She casually shrugged a shoulder.

He stripped off his jeans and boxers, and stepped into the depths of the warm, bubbly water. Sitting at the opposite end of Gabi, he leant forward to capture her mouth in a kiss. He massaged her breasts tenderly, before finding her clit again. Her body relaxed, her head rolling back on a sigh. They’d never had sex in the tub before. He wanted to ensure they tried almost everything once.

  Chapter Nineteen

  Gabi

The next week and a half passed fairly quickly. Darion had been spending most of his time at the new bar, Retox, decorating it, and interviewing potential employees. Gabi had barely seen him. She’d kept herself busy with work, dance class, and spending time with Suzie and Mallory. It was Thursday evening and come Saturday, Mallory would be flying to the Maldives. It was also the grand opening to The Black Door.

Gabi had showered, dried her hair, and was in bed for ten minutes when the doorbell rang. Placing the book she was reading on the side, she scurried to answer it. Darion was leant against the wall. Noticing her, he sauntered toward her at a leisurely pace. He was dressed casually in navy jeans and a matching t-shirt, the collar buttons of which were undone, displaying some of his smooth chest. She noticed he had two-day old stubble, which made him look rough and rugged, just the way she liked him.

“Hey, darlin’.” He grinned, his pupils glinting dangerously.

“Hi.” Her heartbeat got faster, and she scolded herself for still feeling coy around him at times. He openly admired her with his insatiable stare, taking her in from head to toe.

“Have you missed me?” He leant forward and flicked his tongue on her bottom lip, and let out a dirty sounding laugh.

  “I have, actually,” she confessed.

His hands reached out as he fondled her breasts over the flimsy material of her nightdress.

“Stop, my neighbours might see,” she scolded him, slapping his hands away.

  “So what?”

Shaking her head on a giggle, she led him to the kitchen. Switching on the kettle, she was about to make coffee when he pulled her into a hug. He squeezed her so hard it hurt. She snaked her arms around his waist with a smile. It seemed he had really missed her.

  “Coffee?”

He shook his head. “Juice will do.”

Flicking the kettle off, she poured two glasses of orange juice and followed him into the bedroom. He kicked off his shoes and peeled off his clothes so he was naked, except for his black Armanis. Gabi bit her lip, remaining rooted to the spot as she perved over him. His new employees would be all over him, tongues hanging out, she knew it. Well, at least they weren’t dancers, and would be dressed. It would certainly make a change from seeing Lexi, Marnie, Gina, Wendy, and the others parading around with their boobs out.

“Come to bed,” Darion commanded, his top lip curling back over his teeth wickedly.

She placed a glass of juice on the table at his side of the bed, and then sashayed to her side, setting the other glass on the table there. Climbing under the covers, she didn’t get a chance to make herself comfortable as Darion attacked her with his lips. Their teeth clashed as they kissed urgently, their tongues wrestling. She felt the stirrings of lust as his hands roamed over he
r body. His mouth was working down her neck, and a warm sensation blossomed between her trembling thighs.

“Impatient, are we?” She pulled back on a giggle and wiped her mouth.

“When it comes to you…always.” He leant over and drained back half of his drink. “What’s on?” He nodded toward the television.

“Oh. It’s a girly show. Sex And The City. I doubt you’d like it.” She grabbed the remote to change it.

“Anything to do with sex, I more than like.” He winked.

Gabi shrugged a shoulder, dropping the remote. “It does show a lot of boobs.”

“Then I’m all for it.” He flashed her a saccharine smile.

  “Perv.” She nudged him playfully.

“Well, you’re not showing me yours.”

“I can hold a decent conversation, you know,” she teased.

“A dirty conversation?” He nuzzled her neck.

“I should let you miss me more often.”

Taking the hint, Darion fluffed up his cushion and leant back, fixated on the show. She snuggled up to him, resting her head on his chest.

“So the opening is on Saturday,” she said, stroking his bare chest in circular motions.

  “I forgot about that.”

Gabi was certain his heartbeat sounded faster. “I called Lexi to see if she was going. It will be nice to see her.”

  “And is she going?”

  “Yeah.”

  “Who else is going?”

Gabi sat up to read his expression. Was he asking out of curiosity or because he was worried? She couldn’t tell. “Um…” She paused to rethink the conversation in her head. “Lexi thinks everyone’s going.” When Darion didn’t speak she asked, “Are you worried about something?”

“No.” He rubbed at his stubble. “I’m just not overly enthusiastic about seeing my ex-wife.”

“Eva doesn’t have a problem with you now, does she?”
