Opening her eyes, Devyn found Ronan looking down at her with an emotion in his eyes she couldn’t describe. Was he regretting this already? She was, but probably for a very different reason. She knew that by letting this happen, she had just made everything harder to bury—every emotion, every touch, every word that they shared would remain in her head, tormenting her every day for the rest of her life. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed, Devyn released the counter and sat up so fast, the movement made Ronan release her legs.

Gavin took a hold of her face, making sure she made eye contact with him. His blue eyes were so dark that they were almost the color of navy. They held such passion and love for her that it hurt to look into them. Didn’t they see that this was a huge mistake? She couldn’t be what they wanted her to be, and she sure as hell couldn’t let herself love them any more than she already did. It would be the death of her.

“You’re not running this time, Devyn. I already told you that.” Gavin lifted her off the counter, giving her no choice but to wrap her legs around his waist to keep from falling.

“Gavin, you know this is a mistake. This isn’t the time—”

“And when would be the time?” Gavin kept a hand on her back, keeping her body pressed to his as he walked them across the living room and into the bedroom. “There is only the here and now, and we’re not wasting a second of it.”

When he laid her down on the bed, Devyn looked toward the door to see Ronan standing just outside of the frame. Did he feel the same? She could have sworn she saw regret in his eyes, but now he was looking at her as if he could devour her. She always knew where she stood with Gavin, but Ronan kept her guessing, and now was no different.

He never broke eye contact with her as he stepped into the room. Crossing his arms to take an edge of his shirt in each fist, he pulled it over his head. She couldn’t help but look down at his chest, his hair making her fingers itch to play with it. His fingers went to the button on his cargo pants, and with a flick of his finger and thumb, the button came undone. Watching him undress was so erotic, her pussy gave a spasm, pushing out the liquid that had been pooling inside of her. She rubbed her legs together as her cream dripped in between her ass cheeks.

  “Touch yourself, angel.”

Her eyes flew back to his. Devyn should have been aware that he would realize why she was moving like she was. He always did observe every movement she made, knowing things about her that astonished her. She found herself listening to him, though, her hand slowly slipping down her body as she parted her legs.

Devyn dipped her index and middle finger into the juices that were flowing from her pussy and brought them up to the bundle of nerves that were still overly sensitive from her previous orgasm. As gently as she could, she rubbed over the nub and closed her eyes as the immediate pleasure stole her breath away.

When she opened them back up, she saw Gavin take his shirt off, but it was Ronan who caught her attention. His body was rock solid, with his abdominal muscles ripped in such a masculine way, his hair trailing down to his bobbing cock. His cock was long and thick and glistened with a drop of pre-cum at the end. She watched as he took his hand and grabbed a hold of his shaft, pulling forward and back. He was gripping it harder than she ever would have thought a man would like, but since she was inexperienced and hadn’t had the chance to really explore his body before, she made a mental note that he liked a tight hold.

“Spread your legs wider,” Ronan ordered, his voice deepened with hunger. To know the sight of her touching herself turned him on only spurred her to see how out of control she could get him. Doing what he asked, she spread her legs as wide as she could and continued to touch herself. She watched as he took the condom that had been in his pocket, tearing it open with his teeth and then rolling it down the length of his pole. She didn’t want to think of why he had a condom in his pocket, the old visions trying to come back and torment her. She banished them as quickly as she could.

Would she finally get to know what it was like to be loved by these two men together? She wanted to be taken by both of them at the same time, the need almost overpowering. Ronan let go of his shaft and put his right knee on the bed, grabbing her ankles and yanking her down toward him. Her hands flew out automatically and then reached for him when he came down on top of her.

“You have no idea what you did to us, leaving without a word.” Ronan captured her lips before she could respond, almost punishing her with the force of it. Pulling away, the hurt in his eyes was almost her undoing. “You had a thousand ways to leave, but you chose to do it without a word.”

Devyn tried to reach up to touch his face, wanting to erase the pain, knowing she was the one to place it there. She truly never meant to hurt them the way she had. If she were honest with herself, she had only ever thought of her pain at the time. Having to choose to leave two men who she dearly loved because she was born with an ability that made a future with them impossible was heart wrenching. Before her hands reached the sides of his face, he pulled back his hips and thrust himself into her.

“Ahhh!” Devyn grabbed onto his shoulders. He filled her to capacity, the stretching almost more than she could take.

“Look at me.” Devyn opened her eyes, staring up into his dark gaze. “I need you like this.”

Devyn knew he meant hard and fast. She wouldn’t have it any other way. Digging her fingers into his skin, she leaned her head up to capture his lips, letting him know she needed it like this, too. He pulled out fast, only to ram back in, not giving her a chance to get accustomed to his size. The burn only intensified, but it was a good burn, one that she knew would send her over the edge far faster than being taken in a gentle manner, especially after already having climaxed.

Ronan lifted himself off of her, using his hands. He set himself on his knees, grabbing her hips and slamming her down on him, while her back was still on the bed. Having nothing to hold on to, Devyn reached out on either side and curled the sheets in her fists. Every time he slammed inside of her, he hit that same spot Gavin was so fond of with his fingers. With each hit, the sharp pleasure grew until she was aware of nothing but receiving more—just a little more to send her over.

Before she could reach that goal, Ronan pulled out of her abruptly. Using his strength, he flipped her over onto her stomach. Lifting her hips by a few inches, he slipped back inside, using his legs to keep hers closed. The tight position made her feel every thrust, and the tip of his cock seemed to hit her cervix just right. Before his second plunge, she was coming, and she could do nothing but take his impalements.

She happened to lift her head at that moment to find Gavin watching her, stroking his own cock, which wasn’t as long as Ronan’s, but it was certainly thicker. Her orgasm seemed to intensify, knowing that he was watching as Ronan took her to heights unknown. With one final thrust and a shout from Ronan, Devyn knew that he had reached his release as well.

She felt Ronan come down on top of her. He scooped her up and rolled them to the side. Sweat had formed on her brow, so her skin slid against his arm as it came around to cradle her head. She was still breathing hard when she felt Gavin slide onto the bed next to them. She opened her eyes to see him reaching for her, and when he brushed her bangs aside, he smiled at her.

For some reason, she felt the need to please him. Placing her hands on his chest, she lifted from where she lay against Ronan and pushed Gavin onto his back. She remembered how clumsily she had tried to do this with Ronan back in the day and smiled when she remembered him saying that nothing she ever did with her mouth was wrong. She wondered if Gavin felt the same but hoped with age she would be have a better gauge on his reactions to what he liked and didn’t like.

She leaned down and brushed her lips across his chest, which was bare compared to Ronan’s. Devyn found she liked both, not really having a preference either way. She licked over his nipple and was pleased with herself when she felt his chest vibrate. So he liked having his nipples played with. She could have fun with that, bu
t she was too impatient to get to better things, so she used her tongue to leave a moist trail down his stomach and beyond.

By the time she reached his belly button, her chin hit the head of his cock, leaving a smear of pre-cum on her skin. She scooted herself in between his legs and lifted her head to wipe it off with her finger. Seeing him watching her, Devyn brought her finger to her lips and sucked off his essence. It was a mixture of salty and sweet flavors that she found she craved.

“Damn, that was sexy to watch,” Gavin muttered, dropping his head back into the palms of his hands as he watched her.

She didn’t know what to say to that, so instead, she wrapped her fingers around his thick shaft, lifting it up to her mouth. Opening her lips, she stuck her tongue out to wipe what was left of his cum. Once she had him licked clean, she opened wide and slid him inside her mouth, as far back as she could, which wasn’t a lot. They were both huge, but Gavin was so thick, it stretched her lips to the point that she was glad they weren’t chapped. Using her tongue to caress the underside, she sucked in her cheeks and came back up with a pop.

She glanced over and saw that Ronan was propped up on his side, with his head in his hand staring at her with a hunger that shook her to the core. He’d had his release, but, glancing down, she saw he was just as hard as Gavin.

Utilizing the saliva that she left on his skin, she used her hand like she had witnessed Ronan do to his cock, gripping hard. When Gavin shifted his hips up, she realized he liked it like that, too. She alternated between using her mouth and hand, making sure that it was wet enough so that her hand glided over his shaft. Once she got herself into a rhythm, she decided to try to take more of him inside her mouth.

When he reached the back of her throat, it was too late for her to realize that she had too much saliva inside her mouth. She did the only thing she could and swallowed. Gavin cried out, and she felt his hands on her head, holding her in place.

  “Shit, Devyn, that feels incredible.”

Devyn swallowed again, loving that she was making him feel out of control and wanting to take him to that same cliff he had taken her to earlier. Who knew she had a fondness for heights? She let him guide her head, but still used her hand to keep the pressure that she now knew he liked on his cock. She sped up the pace, with his guidance. When she placed her other hand on his sac, his movements became jerky and she felt his balls grow tight.

“Devyn, if you don’t want to swallow, let go now,” Gavin warned, his voice deep with desire.

She pulled harder, creating more suction with her mouth. When Gavin shouted out her name, she made sure she never stopped stroking him. Rope after rope of cum shot into the back of her throat, and she savored his flavor, making sure she got every drop. If this was how they felt after bringing her pleasure, no wonder they liked going down on her. The power radiating through her body at being able to make him lose control was awe-inspiring.

Wanting to do the same to Ronan, Devyn sat up with the intention of reaching for him. Before she had a chance to touch him, Gavin’s phone started ringing.

  Chapter Six

“Yeah, that was Ronan’s work. He started the storm to hold off whoever was in town from reaching us.”

Gavin had fished his phone out from his pants on the floor. His answer told Ronan that their team was here, trying to reach Devyn’s cabin. It was a good thing the call interrupted them, because Gavin had started something that was best left alone. What Gavin had just done was try to give hope where there was none, and he was an accomplice. Hope wasn’t going to create their future. It wasn’t like Devyn was going to go to Haven and carve a life out for herself. How many times had she asked them to go and leave her here?

“From what you’re describing, you’re no more than a quarter mile away. We’ll be waiting.”

Ronan watched as Gavin hung up the phone and got off the bed. He shoved it back into his pants, which he now stepped into. They were hanging open at the waist when he pulled up the zipper, leaned down, and tried to brush a kiss across Devyn’s mouth. When she went to pull away, Gavin reached for her chin and held her still.

“Don’t turn away from me, and don’t you dare say that this shouldn’t have happened.” Gavin captured her kiss before releasing her and standing. “Once we have you safely tucked away at Haven, we’ll deal with our situation then.”

Ronan didn’t wait around to hear anything more of what Gavin was spouting, because that’s just what it was. He was spouting nonsense. Ronan dressed as quickly as he could. When was his best friend going to open up his eyes and face reality? Didn’t he see the regret in her face?

Ronan walked through the bedroom door and into the living room. He would go outside and meet the team, give himself something to think about other than his raging-hard dick that wouldn’t see relief anytime soon. Son of a bitch, but he knew better than to join them when he had walked in earlier. But somehow, seeing her body draped over the counter with Gavin feasting on her had been too hard to resist.

Ronan opened the door and stepped out into a blizzard. The storm he had created was doing a damn fine job. For in the amount of time he had been inside the cabin, a good two inches had covered the ground and visibility was now so poor the team would struggle to find their way here. He stepped into the snow, now wishing he had taken the time to lace up his boots, but not really caring either way. His intention was to lighten the storm enough for the team to slip through then build it back up again to where it would be impossible for anyone else to get within a mile of the place.

As he stood facing the trees, he was about to call up the earth’s energy when something flickered at his memory. Devyn’s vision came to mind, and somehow, he knew this was it. Fuck. He was going to die standing here, just like she had predicted. He started to laugh, and for a brief moment, wondered if he’d lost his sanity.

The sense of grief that slammed into him had nothing to do with his own death and everything to do with knowing he was going to die without seeing Devyn one more time. It was a crushing blow that physically had him holding his chest. For the first time since he was sixteen and found his mother dead on their living room floor, tears entered his eyes.

Devyn had been everything he ever wanted, and not having her in his life had made him a walking shell. Looking back, he could see what his life had become. He had functioned on automatic, going through life but never really living it. The only time he ever felt truly alive was when Devyn was in his presence. How could one woman make a man feel so complete? What was it about this woman that captured his heart and soul, making him nothing without her? Sure, he breathed like everyone else, but he hadn’t truly lived. And now, here he stood, facing the end of all ends, and all he could think about was her. She consumed him. Ronan finally let his hands fall to his side, accepting his fate.

He refused to let it end like this.

Devyn was meant to be with him and Gavin. He knew that now. Thinking about facing death and actually doing it were two different things. He would do everything in his power to make sure she stayed with them. If Gavin had the faith in them to make it through this, then he could, too. They would make it through whatever came their way, leading them into a new life—a life they would spend together. Before he could turn to go back inside the cabin, he heard Devyn scream.

  “Ronan!”

Ronan saw the flash of a gun go off in front of him and realized he had waited too long. He braced himself, knowing the impact was going to hurt like a son of a bitch. But the bullet never reached him. In that brief second, all hell broke loose. Gunfire was being exchanged throughout the small forest, Devyn was still screaming his name, and Gavin was yelling out instructions.

“Ronan, get back here! You need to get Devyn back in the house while I help create a shield around the others! Grab our weapons while you’re in there.”

Ronan turned around to see Gavin holding Devyn up by her waist, her legs and arms flailing to make him let go of her, but not getting anywhere. She was wearing Gavin’s bl
ack shirt, where Gavin was only wearing his pants. Ronan didn’t waste a second and dashed across the snow, hoisting Devyn into his arms while Gavin ran into the chaos. He knew he needed to stop the wind and snow from creating havoc in order to assist the Nobles risking their lives, but he had to make sure Devyn was safe. She was now screaming for Gavin, but Ronan didn’t have a minute to waste. Running to the door, he swung it open and hurled both of them inside.

“Devyn, listen to me. Go get dressed and make it quick. I need to stop the storm and—”

“You aren’t going back out there, Ronan! What if that wasn’t when you were supposed to get shot? What if you go back out there and—”

“Devyn, stop it!” Ronan took her by the shoulders and gave her a gentle shake to make sure she was paying attention to him. “How or why I didn’t get hurt is beside the point. Our men are out there risking their lives for us, and I need you to do what I say. Now get dressed and stay inside.”

Ronan turned her toward the bedroom and then reached for his bag. Grabbing his weapon and also the gun he had taken from Devyn earlier, he shoved her smaller one in the side pocket of his cargo pants and his in the back of his waistband. He didn’t have time to grab Gavin’s bag, so he’d give him Devyn’s. Taking one more look to make sure she did as he asked, he saw her in the bedroom rifling through her suitcase. Satisfied, he opened the door cautiously, knowing that the shield Gavin had placed was most likely gone. He was now probably using that energy to help their team accomplish their mission.

The previous commotion had simply vanished, and in its place was silence. Ronan softly closed the door behind him and stepped into the snow. He couldn’t see too far into the night, so he held his arms loosely at his sides, channeling as much energy as he could. Feeling the heat start in his fingertips and sensing it travel up his arms, he mentally guided the wind to a slower rate and parted the clouds enough to have moonlight seep through.
