This time Anne Latimer came slowly down to greet them and welcome them to their new home. ‘You will be happy here,’ she promised as she had before.
No one else seemed to notice that they’d stopped or that the family ghost had appeared, and when Anne stepped back and faded from sight, they continued walking.
