I was saddened to learn that a few months after I finished writing Book Three of The Amazing Adventures of 4¢ Ned, The King, Arnold Palmer, passed away. His cameo in the novel was all in good fun, and considering his reputation as a true sportsman and all-around stand-up guy, I like to think that upstairs he got a good chuckle from his appearance here. God bless you, Mr. Palmer, and rest in peace.
About the Author
Benjamin Laskin grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He has traveled extensively and lived in several countries, including many years in Hamamatsu, Japan. He can now be found sauntering through the maze of narrow, stony alleyways in the ancient and legend-rich town of Safed, in Israel’s upper Galilee. He is currently at work on his next novel.
