“I’ve noticed that you’re new to the neighborhood. I meant to come over and introduce myself a few times but got busy around my place and lost track of time.” He stated, the way he smiled at me made my knees weak, his white teeth showing off. His brown eyes staring into my blue eyes, I couldn’t stop looking at him. I didn’t want him to think that I was weird but I had a hard time looking away from him.

We sat there for a moment of silence and I wondered where the food was. I didn’t want the cooks to wait too long to bring the food out but I didn’t want him to think that he had to eat and run either.

“You have a beautiful dining room.” He looked around and nodded his head, keeping his smile on his face.

“Thank you, my father bought it for me. He has better taste than what I thought he had.” The words came out of my mouth without even thinking and I closed my eyes tightly.

I heard him laugh and when I opened my eyes I saw him shake his head at me. He looked at me as if he had seen my kind many times before and I didn’t know how I was going to save this conversation from going downhill.

“Yes, I would say he has good taste.” Mr. Wayward reached for his glass of water and took a few sips of it.

“I didn’t mean it the way it sounded. I have my own job and I pay my own way. I’m a model for the summer, fall and winter magazine called ‘Fashionable Wear’” I told him, glad to see that he was impressed with what I did for work.

“That’s funny, I thought that you were an accountant.” He laughed, his laugh was so carefree I could tell that it wasn’t fake. When he laughed I couldn’t help but laugh myself, it was contagious and I was finally on the same page when it came to work.

I looked around after fifteen minutes of talking I couldn’t believe that our dinner still hadn’t made it out to the dining room yet. I was hungry and I knew that he had to be.

Just as I was about to get up to find out what was taking so long one of the cooks came out with our plates, I could see the steam still coming off the food so I was at least happy that the food was still hot.

I stared at the cook, thinking he was going to apologize for being late with the food but when I looked at Mr. Wayward he was smiling at me, I could tell that he was challenging me silently to say something but I kept my mouth shut. He found it amusing that I was impatient about the food being late!

“Sorry, you have to forgive me but when I’m hungry I’m not willing to keep waiting,” I told him, feeling my face grow red.

“It’s alright, I think that it’s cute. I can tell that you’re slightly upset but you’d rather keep it to giving the looks than to come out and say something to disrupt our evening.” He nodded his head, picking up his fork.

I laughed, without knowing me he told me exactly how I was feeling inside and I hadn’t said a single word.

“You’re different than the women that I’ve been out with before. I have to be honest, I thought that you were going to be stuck on yourself, that you were going to be bossy and pushy like the others but you’ve surprised me.” He continued to compliment me, I didn’t say anything as I picked up my fork and started on my potatoes first.

As we ate we continued to talk and I forgot that I had asked Glenda to stay in earshot in case things didn’t work out. I forgot that anyone was around us, it was easy to talk with him, remembering that I had a hard time that morning when Glenda told me I should just invite him over for dinner. I didn’t know what I had been so scared of but Mr. Wayward didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all, he didn’t act as if he was too good to be at the same table as me.

  Chapter 6

When I told her she was different, I wasn’t lying. I was surprised that the evening was going so well. She was dressed nicely and I could tell that she had picked out the outfit herself, that it was one of her favorites. She didn’t say anything about the way I was dressed, it wasn’t even brought up in conversation.

I watched her mouth as she talked, already wondering how soft and sweet her lips would feel on mine. Looking down her body I saw her long neck that I could leave a trail of kisses on and then I looked down at her chest, the top of her dress was tight, just like any woman’s but I could see that her tits were firm and that she had made sure she wore a dress that made them push against each other to show what she had without looking cheap.

I saw the mini bar when I first walked into the room but I wasn’t up for a drink, the water was nice and cool and it was a good touch to have a pitcher of water sitting in the middle of the table. Most women didn’t think of things like that. They would just order more waters by ringing a small bell that they had beside them.

When I looked at the table and saw that she didn’t have a small bell I knew that it was going to be different than any dinner date I’d ever been on and I was right.

The way Ms. Evans talked, her voice was soft and sweet towards me. I had seen the way she looked at the cook but than I would’ve done the same thing if they were late bringing in dinner when I had invited a guest to my home. I was already thinking about having another date with her, only this time I would be the one to ask her.

As the hours ticked on I didn’t catch myself looking at the clock once, we talked about what kinds of food we really liked and the foods that made us want to throw up. We talked about the things that we liked to do and I knew right off that I was going to ask her to go to the beach with me the next day, hoping that she didn’t have to work. I know that I didn’t have anything planned and if luck was going my way the way it had been all night than she would be with me all day tomorrow soaking up the sun.

I didn’t realize how late it was getting until Glenda came into the dining room, she cleared her throat because Ms. Evans couldn’t see her standing behind her.

“I wanted to know if you wanted anything else from me this evening,” Glenda stated when Ms. Evans turned around.

We both looked at the clock and saw that it was almost midnight. I was surprised that I stayed so long. Even after a younger maid came to take our plates I was still drinking water and lost in conversation with Ms. Evans. We had more in common than what I thought we were going to. As I got up from the table I realized it was the first time that I didn’t bother coming up with an excuse because I didn’t think the dinner was boring.

“I’m sorry Glenda, I didn’t realize how late it was. No, you can head off to bed and I will see you in the morning. I’m going to see Mr. Wayward out.” Ms. Evans stated, and we both watched her leave the dining room.

“I didn’t mean to keep you up. I guess we both lost track of time.” I looked at Ms. Evans and followed her to the door.

“Don’t be sorry, I had a wonderful time with you tonight Mr. Wayward.” She replied, opening the door for me.

“Please call me Luke,” I told her, seeing the glowing look in her eyes I could tell that she liked me just as much as I liked her.

“Well Luke, you can call me Linda.” She stated as I stepped out onto the porch.

I had thought about kissing her but I didn’t want to scare her off on our first date. I didn’t think that she would turn me down but I didn’t want to take that chance either.

“I was wondering if you would like to go to the each with me tomorrow,” I asked her, almost forgetting to see if she was busy the next day.

“I would love to. What time do you want me to be ready?” Linda didn’t look surprised that I had asked her and I was thankful that the heat of the day was finally cooling off.

“I would like to come over and get you tomorrow around ten if that’s not too early for you.” I laughed, watching her shake her head.

“I get up earlier than ten but that’s fine with me. I want to thank you for a wonderful evening and again for the flowers. They are my favorite.” Linda’s voice was so sweet that it made my heart race, I wanted to lean in and at least kiss her on the cheek but I thought even that was too much if I kissed her I wasn’t going to want to stop.

  “You’
re welcome, thank you for inviting me. I will see you tomorrow morning.” I winked at her, turning away from her I walked down the lit walkway and as I turned into my own yard I looked over and saw that her door was still open and she was watching me. The smile on my face grew wider.

She could’ve just shut the door and turned the porch light off, I wouldn’t have blamed her if she did. It was late. But seeing that she was going to watch me go into my own house, it was a sign that she wasn’t just out for a good time. She wanted to get to know me better, she was interested in me and not what I could do for her.

Tonight had worked out in my favor and as I opened my door to walk into the house was when I saw that she had shut her door and turned the porch light off. I knew she was just as happy as I was. She wasn’t the type of woman that could control her facial expressions, I could read her like a book. It was clear that tonight was the beginning of happiness for us both and I couldn’t wait to see her tomorrow. To spend all day with her, enjoying each other’s time.

  Chapter 7

I leaned against the door after I closed it, a smile on my face and excitement running through me. I couldn’t wait until tomorrow when I could see him again. I planned on getting up early in the morning and I could see that he wanted to kiss me, I would’ve let him kiss me if he leaned into me but I could see that he didn’t want to push it on the first date.

“Glenda!” I called out, knowing that the maids had their own quarters in the guest house that was connected to the mansion but I was hoping she hadn’t reached the outdoors yet.

“I’m still here, come have a cup of tea with me.” Glenda invited me into the kitchen.

She already had the tea kettle on the stove and she was standing there watching it, I knew at any second the whistle would blow to tell her the water was plenty hot enough.

“Tonight turned out better than what I thought it was going to. I had a wonderful time, but there is one thing that worries me.” I bit down on my lip, I wasn’t sure if I should tell her, it was private but I had to tell someone and it couldn’t be Luke.

“What’s the matter, you look a little afraid. I thought tonight went extremely well, minus the cook bringing the food out late but it was still hot so before you go and yell at him in the morning he did keep the food hot.” Glenda pointed a finger at me, knowing me too well.

“That’s not what the problem is. Luke wanted to kiss me tonight, I could feel it in my bones. I could see the desire in his eyes.” I told her, hearing the low whistle of the tea kettle and before it got louder Glenda took the teapot off the burner and shut the stove off, pouring two tea cups and letting the tea bags set in the water before she brought them to the table.

“What’s the matter with that? Isn’t that what you’ve been wanting since you’ve been stalking him ever since you moved in?” She laughed, sliding my hot tea over to me as she took a seat beside me.

“Yes, that’s what I’ve wanted but kissing leads to other things…” I let my voice trail off, hoping that she was going to be able to read between the lines.

I knew that Glenda was smart and when she thought about it and her eyes grew wide she looked at me and I knew that she knew what was going on. I nodded my head and blushed as I looked down at my cup of tea.

“You’re still a virgin,” Glenda stated, knowing the answer but also wanting to confirm what she was saying was true.

“Yes, I don’t know how to tell him that. I didn’t really think it was going to be much of an issue.” I whispered, shaking my head.

“You didn’t see it as an issue because you expected him to be a jerk, you expected him to be a man that was stuck on himself and wanted to overpower everything about tonight but he was right when he told me earlier that he was a simple man and you have to believe that. I know I do. Even him picking the flowers was a big thing.” Glenda had nothing bad to say about the man, and frankly neither did I.

“My problem is how do I approach him with this?” I asked, looking for her advice, her guidance. I had to have some answer.

“Tell him the truth, if things get too close for you, you’re going to have to tell him.” Glenda shrugged her shoulders.

“Do you know how hard that’s going to be?” I asked her, it wasn’t the advice that I was looking for but it was the advice she gave me.

“Well, I can’t deliver every message for you. Like today, you were afraid to ask him over for dinner and look at how well that turned out.” Glenda showed me the positive of my worries. I had been worrying for nothing.

“You’re the one who asked him to dinner for me.” I reminded her, she was acting as if I had done it all myself.

“Then you’re going to have to be the one to tell him about this. Like I said, I can’t do everything for you, my dear but one thing I do want to tell you. Don’t lose sleep over it, you’re going to find it’s not that big a deal to him, he’s proven to you and me that he’s a man of his word. He told the truth about who he was and how he was before he even came over for dinner.” Glenda raised her eyebrows at me.

I wasn’t in the mood for tea, I was tired and wanted to make sure that I didn’t look tired when Luke came knocking the next morning.

“I’m going to go up and get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow.” I smiled at her, stifling a yawn the best I could.

“Is there anything you want to bring to the beach with you? Like maybe you could have a picnic there.” Glenda suggested.

“I don’t want him to bribe him with food Glenda. I think that we’ll be alright.” I laughed at her, shaking my head as I got up from the table.

“I’m glad that you had a wonderful evening tonight. Please don’t fret about tomorrow. Take it in stride and whatever happens, just let it happen.” Glenda told me.

“Thanks, Glenda.” It was the first time that I reached over and gave her a hug, a thank you wasn’t going to cut it. I wanted to show her just how much it meant to me that she stuck around when she could’ve just left. The way she had taken charge of setting up she didn’t have to do but she chose to do.

“You’re more than welcome Ms. Evans.” She hugged me back and when I let go of her, I realized that in just one day I had more fun with her than I had my parent’s a strange time to think of that but that’s what crossed my mind as I pulled away from her and headed up the stairs to bed.

As soon as I got into bed I couldn’t go to sleep, as tired as I was downstairs I thought I would be able to fall asleep quickly but that wasn’t the case at all. I know that Glenda had told me not to worry about my problem but that was the thing that kept me up. I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable when I never had to worry about sleep finding me before and the more I thought about kissing Luke the more anxious I got.

I was supposed to be as happy as any woman could be, and I was but there weren’t many women that I knew that were virgins. Everyone was one at one time or another but I still didn’t have any experience. Sure I let a man get to first and second base but when it came to going all the way I always found a way out of it, when Luke looked into my eyes I could see the flames of desire, I could tell that one kiss from him and I wouldn’t stop him, I wouldn’t stop myself from finding out what sex was all about.

  Chapter 8

I was ringing her doorbell at nine-thirty in the morning. I had my sunglasses on and my swimming trunks. It was already too hot for a shirt so I didn’t bother putting one on. I was surprised to see that it wasn’t Linda who had met me at the door but Glenda.

“She’s not quite ready yet.” Glenda ushered me inside and closed the door behind me. I could see why she was rushing to get in the house. It was nice and cool and I was sure that every air conditioner they had was on.

“I don’t know if this is even going to fit me!” Linda shouted from upstairs and I hid a laugh by covering my mouth and pretending I was coughing.

“I will be right back.” Glenda smiled at me, but I could see that she wanted to laugh too.

&
nbsp; There was only a moment of silence upstairs before I heard her shouting again.

“What do you mean he’s already here? He’s a half hour early and my hairs not even brushed yet!” Linda shouted again, this time her voice was louder than before.

“Don’t worry, take your time!” I called up the stairs laughing this time, I couldn’t help it, her voice was still sweet even when she yelled.

I heard murmuring coming from upstairs, I couldn’t understand what they were saying but I was sure that Glenda was trying to calm her down. It would make sense, after all, it seemed as if Glenda and Linda had a good friendship.

I sat down in the dining room and watched the television that was mounted on the wall. Whoever turned on the television that morning had put it on the sports channel. That was one thing that I hadn’t asked Linda about if she liked anything to do with sports.

I sat downstairs by myself for about twenty minutes and when I heard Glenda and Linda coming down the stairs I got to my feet and met her in the hall by the door.

“You look amazing,” I told her, seeing her in her pink bikini and a towel hanging over her arm, her blonde hair put up in a messy bun and her blue eyes looking wild I couldn’t have asked for more than to see her walking down the stairs the way she was.

“Thanks, sorry about what you heard.” She laughed, blushing slightly. The color in her face made her look sexier than I could ever imagine any woman to be.

“It’s alright, I should’ve come over at ten like I said I would,” I told her, blaming it on me. It was my fault. I had been earlier than what I told her but I couldn’t hold off another minute on seeing her. I had been up half the night just thinking about today and spending the day with her, she was like a drug and I was addicted.

“You two have fun and don’t worry about the time. I will have something made up for you for dinner.” Glenda told us, opening the door for us and shooing us out.
