Acknowledgments
So of course I want to thank my family. My sister has such a big heart and is raising an amazing little girl. I love my niece so much and it’s been awesome to have someone to share my love of Gritty and hockey with.
I have to do a special shoutout to my close group of friends. Lisa, you have been amazing person of support and help with everything. Having you to be a person to go turn to for story ideas and editing alone was a huge help and I wouldn’t have a final product without you. Add in all the personal support over the year, you are amazing. To Jill, Mykey and Mark. You guys have been amazing and helpful where I always have someone to talk to and while I may turn to you for different reasons but I do value all the support that you give me. To my friend Doug, it's been great to have a writing friend to verbalize some plot points.
To my friends in the Level Up Romance Writers Sprints Room. I've learned so much from you guys. I've made some great friends and you helped me to finish this project in a record amount of time just by asking "Did you write words?" every twenty five minutes. Never judgmental but always held accountable. I wouldn't have such wonderful formatting if wasn't for B. Ivy Woods. Thanks also to Ellie Pond, Aidy Award, Dylann Crush, Danielle Romero, Sarah Urquhart and Selena Ward.
Last but not least, to the readers. While the book is personal and it has allowed me to process so much, I want people to read the book. To get early feedback and praise from my beta readers has been great. So thank you!
