“I felt it and it’s how I like my men. Powerful.”

Manny didn’t respond to Tiffany’s comment but focused on driving instead. He sped up on the trail, maintaining a high speed along with the group. It was minutes when they came to the next point to change cars and drivers. Manny exited the R8 with a huge smile on his face. “If I ever get a few pennies…we can share this car.”

  “Share?”

“I don’t mind sharing with you. I think you can handle a fast moving car.”

“I can, and I will show you in the next car.”

They repeated instructions pushing each car to a controllable limit, feeling the power of the pedal. It was their last exchange on the Mustang heading back to the office. Manny looked at Tiffany as he walked to the car. “Would you like to drive the Mustang?”

  “It’s your turn.”

  “I know, but I’m being a gentleman.”

“It’s okay Manny, I’ve had my turns. I don’t mind riding this time.”

Manny got into the driver’s seat, adjusted the mirrors and seat, tightened the belt, and pressed the gas. He heard the roar of the Ford super engine. “Damn nice,” he nodded.

“I’m not a car lover, but I see you enjoyed doing this.”

“From what I saw of you, I’m not alone.”

  “No you aren’t.”

The leader came on the two-way and off they went, heading back to the office show room. Manny followed, enjoying the ride and the power in his control.

“Okay, what’s next?” Manny looked to see if she had anything planned from her research.

“After lunch, there’s something I’d like to try.”

“Anything as I have something up my sleeve for sunset, so, whatever you’d like to do is fine with me.”

“Good, because I think you’ll like this."

Manny pulled up to the showroom, backed the car into a parking space as directed and shut off the engine. “What a thrill.”

Tiffany exited the car and walked around to meet Manny. Her arms grabbed him and she hugged him tight. “This was really fun, different. I never thought I’d get a chance to drive these cars.”

Manny hugged her back, holding her tighter than he’d done before. “I’m glad you liked it.”

Tiffany pecked him on the lips, a kiss of thanks without getting sensual. Manny was surprised and waited for a second attempt, so he could take advantage of the long kiss he wanted to enjoy. But Tiffany let go and released Manny from her embrace. He followed, abiding by her lead of wordless instructions.

The van taking them back to the strip arrived and they boarded, sitting next to each other. “Treasure Island,” Manny told the driver. They sat in silence until arriving at the hotel.

  “How about having lunch inside?”

“I wanted to go across the street,” Tiffany nodded. “Let’s do something inside that’s fun too.”

  “Oh you mean the Venetian?”

“Yes, I’ve saw pamphlet at the exotic car showroom.”

“I’m game for whatever you have in mind.”

They exited the van, grabbed each other’s hand and walked across the street to the Venetian. They walked up to the entry way and stepped aboard the moving sidewalk. At the top of the stairs and arriving to the end of the moving walkway, Manny pushed a door open and allowed Tiffany to enter first. She took a moment and stood at the balcony overlooking the bottom floor and looked at the style and decor of the building. She was amazed at the sight; the high ceiling, the stores, the marble, the balcony going downstairs, the open feeling, and the impressive idea that cost was no object in the design of the building.

Manny observed her viewing the building, and without a warning, he touched her waist while he stood next to her. She’s impressed. Now if I’m as impressive to her as this casino, we’re onto something. He smiled before moving to his right and Tiffany followed his lead. She window shopped as they walked into the Grand Canal shops. They walked into a coffee shop, an Italian Trattoria that served chocolate as they do in Italy. Tiffany led Manny to the front door but not without stopping, to see the mannequin in the hall. She stood next to it. “Manny take this picture,” she instructed.

“Sure,” Manny grabbed his phone and held it up. The mannequin moved next to Tiffany and she yelled, “Oh, Hell!”

  “You didn’t know?” he laughed.

The living mannequin nodded his head while he tipped his hat. And he posed next to Tiffany while Manny took the picture. Manny tipped the guy and turned into the restaurant. “The picture I missed was the one while you were screaming.” Manny laughed.

“I’m glad you didn’t,” Tiffany giggled. “I had no idea; no wonder he looked so real.”

  “He’s real. He’s alive.”

  “You get my point.”

They ordered and took a seat. Manny looked at his watch.

“What time is our next appointment?”

“I don’t have an appointment set for us.”

  “Are you sure?”

  “I’m sure.”

Manny picked up the tray after they finished eating and walked to the exit and placed it on the bin. He returned to the table and winked at Tiffany. “Right on time.”

  “Perfect.”

Manny took her hand to aid her from the table and walked out into the main hallway. They turned left going further into the Venetian’s Grand Canal shopping area. They strolled until they came into an open piazza, where skits of old Italy were at center stage, and the bridge had a bride taking pictures. People were everywhere and that’s when she heard it. …Singing! She looked into the direction of the songstress and pointed to the area to Manny. “Let’s do this.”

“You don’t want to wait for the real thing?”

“Who said I’m going to get a chance for the real thing? I don’t know if I’ll ever get to Italy.”

Manny leaned his head one way and closed his eyes. “I say, your future is bright.”

“You’re a Gypsy now, a fortune teller. Where’s your crystal ball?”

“Give me your hand,” Manny giggled.

“Oh heck no, my line is deep and I doubt you can tell it.”

“I can tell you the immediate future.”

  “Oh really?”

“Sure,” Manny grabbed her hand and held her palm up. “I see a gondola ride before the evening sun.”

  “You’re a funny man.”

“Nothing wrong with laughing.” Manny laughed and directed, “Wait here, I’ll be right back.”

Tiffany waited while she watched the crowd get involved in the show and turned to see couples on the gondolas. She stopped watching others long enough to breathe. This man, my God this man. He’s something special and I’m surprised I don’t need to try to impress him. It’s really easy. Is this bad? She pondered and looked into the palm of her hand. I have been wrong a lot of times, but this time I have got to be right. I trust you.

Manny returned with tickets for the gondola. “Are you ready?”

  “I’m ready.”

“Come on, let’s go.” Manny led the way to the boarding step. He gave the porter their tickets and they stepped onto a gondola. “You’ll have to sit down before I can move,” the gondolier instructed.

“No sweat,” Manny sat next to her. And off they went. The gondolier gave them a safety spiel and questioned which song they’d like him to sing. Manny chose a soft and bellowing song, an Italian love ballad. Tiffany didn’t know which songs were offered, so she nodded in agreement. The gondolier started soft and crescendo into a full bellowing melody. Tiffany touched her heart at his voice, and Manny, touched her other hand. Up the canal and back, the gondolier pedaled the gondola and in a few minutes they were back at the dock. “That was different,” Manny aided Tiffany from the gondola.

“It sure was. One day I’ll do the real thing. I may not know with who, but I’ll remember this as being the best one ever.”

  “Memories? Are
you referring to memories I promised we’d make?”

“Memories in the making.” Tiffany held his hand while they walked from the gondola area to the open piazza. “This too, Manny, I’m remembering everything about this trip.” She touched his shoulder and laid her head on it after she removed her hand. “I like this weekend so far. I mean, everything is perfect.”

“I’m feeling the same way. Perfection is hard to come by”

“Especially for people who live so far away from one another.”

“I know tomorrow will be difficult getting on the plane for Miami.”

“I don’t want to think about it. Let’s do something else.”

Manny looked at his watch, “I guess if we walk to the next event, we’ll be there in time for sunset.”

  “Which direction?”

  “North.”

Manny and Tiffany walked out of the Venetian heading north on the strip. The walked hand in hand, and laughed as they remembered the events they’ve shared over the day and a half since meeting. “I never suspected you were so active.”

“Tiffany you never told me you were a race car driver.”

“Like you didn’t know. I hinted around it while we skyped all this time.”

“I didn’t get it, but I’m glad it worked out for you.”

“You mean for us,” Tiffany put her arm around his shoulder. “I am having a really good time and it’s our last night together. I should have taken a week off.”

“Yeah but we didn’t know it would be like this. I never suspected my imaginary kiss could turn you into a princess.”

“If you think I’m good from an imaginary kiss, why not see what a real one will do?”

Manny looked at her, stopped and faced her to him. He caressed her face with his hands and pulled her slow to his lips. He moved in, connecting his lips to hers but didn’t press forward allowing her to push if she wanted. Their lips touched and Tiffany turned, tilted her head to the right, and Manny responded going in for the kill. His tongue entered her mouth and danced with her resident. Tiffany responded and gave her best, she gave him what she was getting. They kissed and embraced for what felt like a thunderstorm blew over them, but the tender kiss was enough to get a feel for what joy they might share. Manny let go of her, stepped back as Tiffany released her grasp. “Oh, it’s working. The magic is working.” Manny felt his excitement rise for the first time.

Tiffany nodded in response, “It’s working alright,” Tiffany grabbed his hand, “Where are we going?”

  “Oh, yeah, The Space Needle.”

  “Are we riding into space?”

“I am right now, who needs a lift?” Manny smiled and pulled her closer.

  Chapter 39

They arrived at the elevators on the bottom floor of the Stratosphere Hotel Casino, and instructed the operator to take them to the swing ride at the top of the space needle. The operator pushed the floor button and they rose nonstop until stopping at their destination. “I never asked if you were afraid of heights. I’m sure you aren’t but, I need to ask now.”

“It’s kind of late to ask me, but I’m okay. Is this what I think it is?”

  “Another thrill.”

“I never knew you were a thrill seeker.”

“Actually I’m not, but for some reason I figured we’d enjoy this at sunset.”

“Sounds like a good idea.” Tiffany hesitantly followed Manny inside. “Is it safe?”

“Of course it is. If they had any accidents I’m sure they would stop using the ride.”

“I guess so,” Tiffany followed instructions and buckled in on the Insanity ride. She looked at Manny sitting next to her, “If I fall, remember this was a really good trip up to the time I fell screaming to my death.”

“You’re not going to fall. Enjoy the sunset. Look at the mountain range.” He reached for her hand. “Here, hold on until we start moving.”

The ride rose and spread, its prongs wide, turning at 900 feet above ground. It spun and turned, giving the view of the entire sunset, the soft orange glow over the horizon and then the lights of the city below. The view was amazing and Manny didn’t let go of Tiffany’s hand. He held onto her, while she held a death grip on the safety bar with her other hand. When it started spinning faster, she closed her eyes and breathed, without releasing Manny’s hand. By the time the ride finished, she opened her eyes at last and looked at Manny. “Did we stop?”

“Yes, we stopped. We’ll be back on solid building soon.”

  “Nice view.”

“You finally opened your eyes to see it,” Manny smiled.

“It started out good but when it got fast, I closed my eyes.”

“I saw that. But at least you got to see it.”

Manny led Tiffany to the elevator, riding it to the bottom floor, then took the escalator down to the ground.

“I have a question for you.”

Tiffany looked puzzled as Manny hadn’t announce asking a question the entire time together. “Okay,” hesitantly she responded, “ah, what’s your question?”

Manny stopped walking, turned to her, and looked into her eyes, “If a man was alone in the middle of a forest and yelled at the top of his lungs, would anyone hear him?”

Tiffany never heard of such a question posed to a woman. At first, her common sense response came to her mind, “Of course dummy, it depends on who’s close or the animals,” Then it dawned on her, the response she wanted to tell him, flashed to her mouth as if it led the way without recourse. “If they’re spiritually connected and deeply in love, she’ll hear his cry a thousand miles away.”

Manny looked at her, pulled her close, embracing her, tight, feeling her chest rise from taking a breath. He whispers, “I’m yelling, can you hear me?”

Tiffany held him tight, as she had a tingle run from her mind to her toes. Manny responded like a real man, a man she’s dreamed of having, a man who is easy to admire, to fall head over heels in love with, and one who is respectable. “I hear you,” she responded, “I hear you loud and clear.”

Manny moved his lips next to hers and with a gentle touch he engaged her heart with his tongue. She reciprocated his advance with her will, her governing senses to dance the tango with him, her tongue twisting and turning, encircling his as if she gave a combination to her most fortified chamber. Tiffany’s energy went to her feet, leaving her body weak but her mind happy. She was content being in his arms and realized his powerful invitation, was her deciding arrow for a dance with reality. Tiffany didn’t move to break his embrace and the second kiss between them, was indication that she’d landed on the moon. Manny made her powerless, he divided her into small pieces where he toyed with them, and placed each one in his pocket for future use. She didn’t mind, she didn’t care to forfeit in the game, or raise her white flag of defeat. Tiffany got to experience a tender heart in 24 hours. Something she wanted but didn’t expect.

Manny released his tight embrace, without letting go. He looked at her again, “Are you okay?”

  “I’m, I’m…no, I’m not okay.”

  “What’s wrong?”

  “Let me lean on you.”

“No worries, I’ll never let you go.”

Tiffany smiled and placed her arm around his waist as he moved to her side. “Don’t let me go.”

  Chapter 40

It was on the ride back to Treasure Island, where they decided to join in one room for the night. She wanted to experience his touch, feeling the time had arrived to fulfill her imagination. He wanted to get to know her more, the desire to enter her mind through every possible channel. “Let’s get a bottle of wine and escape the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.”

Tiffany smiled, “I couldn’t have suggested anything better.”

They got out of the car and walked to the elevator. Manny pushed 16, “I hope you don’t mind my room.”

“No not at all.” Tiffany held his arm while standing next to him.
/>   They exited the elevator and Manny pulled his key out of his pocket, slid the card through the slot and pressed the handle to open the door. Tiffany walked in first and Manny followed. She sat on the bottom of his bed. “I’ll call room service for that bottle of wine.” Manny called and ordered Merlot.

Tiffany took his hand as he walked passed her. “I’m not always the aggressive type but, I’ve waited to…”

Before he could say another word, she was in his arms, kissing him and tugging at his shirt. Manny responded by unzipping her pants and releasing the button at her waist. Within seconds, they managed to undress while they continued to kiss. Manny lifted her and Tiffany clamped her legs around his waist. She held on, while Manny maneuvered them onto the bed. He laid her on her back and shared his passion. He followed his mind’s intent; he kissed her lips and then created a path of gentle kisses to her breast. He ran his tongue around her nipples while he caressed through the garment, covering her chest with one hand. He focused on one and then the other, savoring the taste of her nipples. She exhaled in response and moved her hips towards him.

Tiffany pulled his forehead to her lips and grabbed him to feel his loins next to her moist chamber of commitment. Manny followed her lead, allowing the head of his sexual prowess to tease her lips of excitement and then slid his erection up and down the path of her ignition. He pressed just enough, allowing her to feel the pressure for entry and pulled back from her seductively grinding hips, so entry wasn’t immediate. Instead, he rose from the bed and went to his wallet. Manny retrieved a condom and in haste put it on. He returned to her, kissed her lips before he said, “Where were we?”

Tiffany grabbed him and pulled him on top. “You were right here, right at this moment” Manny inched his way into her and pressed forward with interest to respond to her invitation. She tugged at his waist to his entry. Manny’s tease made her intensity grow. She wrapped her legs around him and tried to pull him closer. Suddenly, Manny made a manly thrust and pulled her tight as he went deep within her, and sent a jolt of sensation through Tiffany’s body. She positioned her arms above her head and gripped a pillow while feeling her body rock, from the attack on her nervous system. Tiffany yelled, “Ah,” from the peak of sensation that ran through her body. He repeated his thrust and increased his movement. Tiffany wrapped her arms tightly around his back. The slight pressure of her nails on his tight skin drove Manny to push harder. He encouraged her to dance this tango with him, until she was breathless. And she did, panting wildly, moving her hands to his hips to slow his pace. Manny surprisingly flipped her on top. She tried to catch her breath and take control, but his strength restrained her movement and caused her to buck in rhythm with his upward thrust. She was ready to explode, but held on. Tiffany bucked until her pace matched his and her body broke into a sweat. She closed her eyes and screamed “Stop, oh my GOD, STOP!!!” and held her breath from the intensity. She saw lack of oxygen stars when she looked at the ceiling. She felt her blood rushing from her extremities which made them insensible. She felt numbness throughout her body unlike anything she had experienced in her life. An orgasm ravaged through her draining her energy. Her skin was prickled with goose bumps.
