Holden hugged me, kissing the top of my head.
I gave him a gentle shove toward his father.
They had twenty-three years to catch up on, and I was content to listen and watch.
The fire kept me company, and as the night wore on, I finally let myself relax. Tori was dead, Alric was back where he belonged, and Holden finally knew who he was.
Life, it seemed, was finally working out in my favor.
My hands slipped to my belly, and I grinned, wondering how Holden would react when I revealed my next little surprise. But, that was news for another day.
Good news. I imagined another little demigod demon with red hair and tiny horns cavorting in the Underworld. A new Prince of Hell. I hid my smile as a thought occurred to me. Or maybe a Princess of Hell.
