Sleeping With The Billionaire - A Standalone Royal Alpha Billionaire Prince Romance (New York City Billionaires - Book #2) Page 16

by Alexa Davis

I didn’t think Blair was expecting me. She was probably assuming that she was meeting me at my home, but I wanted to pick her up as a surprise. I knew what a stressful week she’d had and wanted to make this evening as magical as possible for her.

Plus, I’d missed her like crazy. I couldn’t wait to get our date started.

As I knocked on her door, my heart skipped a few happy beats in my chest. Our time apart had really dragged on, which was a sensation I wasn’t used to, so I didn’t know how to deal with it at all. I shifted on my feet, thrilling excitement growing with each passing second. Any minute now I’d finally get to see her... and this time I was going to have to get a picture of her face so I could have something to look at during out endless time apart.

“Oh, my God, what are you doing here?” she squealed, throwing her arms around my neck. “I wasn’t expecting you.”

“I know, I thought I’d come and surprise you.”

Blair pressed her lips up against mine for a brief moment, and everything felt right in the world again. She had something about her, something that made me feel warm and happy. This was why I wanted to be around Blair all the time – she made me feel incredible.

“That’s so awesome. I’m so glad that you’re here.” She stepped aside and let me in. “I just need to finish getting ready; you don’t mind waiting, do you?”

  “Not at all.”

As I followed her inside, I noticed her shooting me funny looks over her shoulder, like I was a stranger rather than someone she’d been dating for the past few weeks. I tried to put it down to us having such a long time apart, but I wasn’t totally convinced.

“Is everything all right?” I eventually felt compelled to ask.

“Yeah, sorry about the mess... and my outfit... and my face... Oh, God, this is not good enough.”

As she raced into her bedroom, I chuckled awkwardly to myself. I had no idea what was going on with her, but I was sure I’d find out soon enough. She wasn’t the best at keeping things to herself.

I liked noticing things like that about Blair; it made me realize just how much attention I spent on her. I was usually self-involved, so it was nice to realize this different side to myself. Blair was so special that she managed to captivate me. That had to mean we were going to go the distance.

She bumbled out the bedroom, still putting her earrings in, looking incredibly disheveled. “Did you want to get going?”

“Don’t forget your camera!” I insisted. “If you still want to take some pictures.”

“Oh, right, of course.” She grabbed her bag and pushed her camera into it, her pale skin flushing red with stress. All I wanted to do was make it better for her, but I wasn’t sure what was wrong. Maybe it was just because I turned up unexpectedly. “Okay, I think I have everything, let’s go.”

We moved down the stairs in virtual silence, which had me worried. I could almost see the endless thoughts racing through Blair’s mind, making me desperately wish that I could see into that brain of hers. I wanted to think that it was just her endless week of work causing her stress, but I wasn’t fully convinced.

Never mind, I would find out soon enough.

“Are you used to driving on the right side of the road now?” Blair asked me, sidling into the passenger’s seat of my car. “Is it weird?”

“I don’t mind it at all. I’ve done a lot of driving, across Europe and places like that, so it isn’t too different.”

I pulled the car out and started driving along the road, still trying to work out what was happening. There was a thick atmosphere clinging between us, and I couldn’t work out where from.

“Is this car a rental or did you buy it?”

“Erm, it’s a rental...” She was asking some very odd questions, and I could tell they were leading somewhere. Was she trying to work out how long I was sticking around? Did that mean her feelings were as deep as mine and she wanted to know if they were going to be worth it? “But I am going to buy an American car when I decide which one I like best.”

“Right, right.” Even her voice was jittery now. Maybe I’d have to crack open a bottle of champagne to try and get it out of her.

“I’ve been cooking all day, you know,” I tried to change to a friendlier topic, in the hope that it’d ease the atmosphere. “So, I really hope you like it.”

“I’m sure I will. I didn’t know you could cook, but I’m sure I’ll like whatever it is.”

I pressed harder on the gas, needing to get home as quickly as possible now. This was weird. I needed my answers, and I wasn’t about to get them here.

“Oh, my goodness, you were right about the view.” I watched in awe as her whole body language unfurled as she slid her camera out of her bag. I could tell it was exactly what she was supposed to do with her life; it just made her so happy. “I’m going to take a few pictures, if that’s all right with you?”

“Yeah, of course, you go right ahead.” I smiled happily as she snapped away. “I’ve still got some things I need to get ready for dinner.”

I moved into the kitchen, feeling a little happier about the evening now. Whatever was going on in the car seemed to have subsided. Maybe it was just her trying to work out what my plans were, and the fact that she had to do it in such a roundabout way wasn’t a good sign. It meant I needed to open up a bit more. That was fair enough. I was always so closed off, and I needed to at least try. Maybe this was what was holding her back from finally telling Cameron the truth.

Maybe it was finally time to be a bit more honest about what was going on with my life. I sighed deeply as that realization hit. The little odd comment here and there about my life would only get me so far. I needed to let it all free.

I took the plates into the living room and set them up on the dining table where I waited for Blair to join me. I didn’t want to disturb her while she was in the zone, and I needed a bit of time to get adjusted to finally being vulnerable.

“Oh, sorry, I didn’t realize you were waiting for me.”

As she sat down at the table, she shot me a guilty grin.

I laughed merrily at her. “Don’t worry about it, I don’t mind waiting for you. It was nice to see you enjoying the view... I have to say, that’s the best thing about this place.”

“It really is incredible, you can see so much. You don’t know how lucky you are.”

“Oh, yes, I do.” I was being evasive again, it was time to finally delve into some specifics.

She tucked into the food, a happy, serene look spread across her face. She wasn’t digging any more, hunting for answers, which made it a little easier to give them to her.

“So, I guess you want to know how long I’m sticking around for?” She half nodded, refusing to look up at me and embarrassed about trying to figure out a future. “Well, I came to America with the intention of staying.”

“It’s not always as easy as that, is it? Sometimes we have responsibilities back at home that take us away from what we want.”

I got the weird feeling that she knew more than she was letting on about the real me and my life back home. Maybe Cameron had told her... not that it really mattered. I was going to tell her now anyway.

“Yeah, well, me more than most.” I sighed deeply. “I probably should’ve told you this sooner, but I’m a prince. Prince Marcus of England.”

“Okay...” She breathed out deeply and nodded, telling me that she already knew what I was saying. Whether she’d known the whole time or not, I wasn’t sure, but she knew now. “That’s pretty heavy. Doesn’t that mean you’ll have to go back eventually?”

“I don’t think so. My brother is the prince my family all adores. He’s the one who’s always done things the right way. No one misses me, I’m not needed in England, it’s fine.” A pregnant pause filled the room, one that I needed to fill. “Look, I would much prefer it if people didn’t know about this, I want to keep my identity a secret, if you don’t mind.”

  “No, of cour
se, I won’t tell anyone. I understand that completely.”

The fog from the room cleared and the atmosphere returned to normal. We were back to being just me and Blair. It was as if the entire room had just let out a breath it didn’t even realize that it was holding.

“This is really good, you know, for someone who must have grown up with cooks.”

“Oh, come on, don’t act like you’re a poor little sap,” I teased back. “You grew up with money, too.”

  “I know, I know, but I didn’t grow up in a castle.”

I stood up and took her hands in mine, leading her into the bedroom. I had the feeling that this was something I would hear a lot about, so this was a way to shut her up.

I pulled her in for a kiss, and as I held her tightly against my body, I felt her sag with relief. With things more out in the open now, I felt like we knew each other better, or at the very least Blair knew me.

“Wait, wait.” She shoved me backward with a massive grin on her face. “Hold on.” She whipped the sheet off my bed and proceeded to throw it around my shoulders. “I present Prince Marcus to the world.”

“Will you stop it?” I rolled my eyes dramatically. “I’m trying not to be Prince Marcus anymore.”

“I don’t know why, it totally suits you.” At least she was making a joke about it, at least she wasn’t freaking out and treating me differently. I probably would’ve lost all respect for her if she had. “I can totally picture you stomping around your castle, yelling out demands to all the servants, making laws and stuff.”

“You know it really isn’t like any of that, don’t you? And I don’t even live in a castle, I live in a normalish house. Others live in a castle but I prefer not to.”

“Shh, stop ruining it for me. I want to imagine you in a castle, okay?”

  “Whatever works for you.”

I let the sheet fall to the floor as I pulled Blair in for a deep and passionate kiss. None of that mattered when I was here with her; all that stupid royal stuff simply floated away. I would much rather lose myself in her mouth than think about my life.

“Oh, take me, Prince Marcus,” she teased, but with a deep gasping to her tone. “Do things to me that cannot be discussed in royal court.”

“You’re crazy,” I panted passionately. “But I like you more for it.”

  Chapter 28 – Blair – Saturday

“Oh, God, you really do feel good,” I groaned into Marcus’ mouth as his hands slowly worked their way up my body. “No one makes me feel like you do.”

As our bodies connected, all my niggling doubts simply fell away. The fact that Marcus was a prince was admittedly a little complex – it did add an extra layer onto the things stacked against us – but I couldn’t see it that way. I could only see him as the Marcus I was falling for...

He unbuttoned the jeans I’d thrown on so carelessly before, trying not to seem like I’d put in too much effort now that I knew he was a prince, and pushed them down past my hips. My underwear fell with them, giving him access to my bare butt. He clapped his hands onto it and ground his hips against mine. I could feel his cock throbbing against my leg, sending my heart dancing all over my body.

And then he slammed my back against the cold wall and pulled at my top until it flew up over my head. I could hear a rip as it went, but I really didn’t care. Marcus could shred all my clothes if he wanted, as long as his hands connected with my body in that wonderful way. He had me writhing, desperate, needy, and he hadn’t even taken a scrap of his own clothing off yet.

“Strip,” I did my best to command, but my voice came out far too breathily to be taken seriously. “I want to see you.” The memory of him between my lips was still fresh in my mind, and I desperately wanted to see him again. I loved every inch of his body – especially the steel rod that gave me so much pleasure.

“I don’t take demands from you,” he murmured into my ear, his breath tickling my lobes and neck the entire time. “Haven’t you worked that out by now?”

“Just because you’re royalty, doesn’t mean I didn’t have you begging before me.”

I stared defiantly at him, which made him smirk that wonderful cheeky grin back in my direction. I could tell he had all the dirty thoughts that I did racing through his mind. It damn near made me crumble. My hand automatically went up to my throat, I began clawing at my boiling hot skin, the desperate pulse deep inside of me becoming too much to bear.

I was in too deep now, my feelings for Marcus were running right through me, slowly taking over every inch of me. I was utterly helpless and still that wasn’t enough to help me.

Marcus slowly peeled off his t-shirt, allowing my eyes to trail slowly over his taut skin. Those muscles were incredible; every time I saw them flex my heart hammered harder. Then he kicked his pants down, yanking his underwear off, too. He was ready for me, he was twitching for me, and he needed me just as much as I did him.

Without even needing to be asked, I unhooked my bra and threw it over my shoulders. Then I moved the rest of my clothing the rest of the way down, leaving us staring at one another’s naked bodies, panting breathlessly. The way the moonlight glittered off his pale, milky skin made it seem like he had a shine around him, a glow only I got to see. His eyes were dark with desire, his expression one of intense hunger, his whole body raring to go.

  Any minute now...

“Now, you take commands from me,” he growled, taking one step closer to me. “I want you to spin around and push your hands up against the wall.”

I stood my ground for a split second, wanting to tease him just that little bit longer, but my body caved before I did. I turned slowly, flattened my palms against the wall, and waited. I could feel him behind me, tentatively moving in. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and goosebumps popped up and down my skin. He was vibrating and humming right through me.

  “God, you’re beautiful.”

He started by tucking my hair behind my neck, teasing my hypersensitive skin and sending a power shiver racing down my spine. Then he leaned in and gently kissed the now exposed area. I was dying underneath his lips, my core screaming out for the one part of him that I knew wasn’t too far away, but I was also enjoying the unexpected sensations he had flooding my body.

One of Marcus’ hands moved around to my breast, where he teased and tugged at my nipple. My body violently jerked, and my mind worked its way up into a frenzy, which increased tenfold when I felt the fingers from his other hand moving up my thigh. He drew ever nearer to where my hot, wet desire was screaming for him. As the desperation took over, I moved back into his hand, unable to wait any longer.

“Oh, fuck,” I screamed loudly as his fingers found their way into me and he began to explore my insides. “Oh, my God, Marcus. I can’t... I can’t take it.” My body already felt helpless. My knees had jellified, and they were buckling. I needed him. I wanted every part of him inside of me.

And then he gave me exactly what I needed.

He moved his hand away and slammed his incredible cock right into me. My front automatically fell into the wall, but the coldness of it did nothing to cool me down. My body was hotter than ever, swirling, tumbling, falling...

“Look,” Marcus gasped from behind me. “To your left.”

I did as he asked and was stunned to find myself staring into a full-length mirror showing the beautiful, dirty, exciting events unfold. I could see myself, flushed and in sheer joy, and Marcus, buried deep into me with an expression of pure pleasure. The sight inflamed my body even more. It made me want to make the whole thing even more interesting, so I used my palms to push myself backward and poked my butt out to him.

“Fuck,” he shouted. “Oh, my God, Blair.”

His head fell back in ecstasy, but only for a second. Then he leaned over me, and he moved his hand around me so he could use his thumb to play with my clit. His thrusting, combined with his hand, formed a small knot of coiling bliss in the pit of my stomach. It slowly crept through my veins, working i
ts way from my head to my toe. I was hot all over, dizzy and joyful, and it wasn’t long until it became an all-consuming wave, crashing over my body, shattering through me over and over again until my legs really couldn’t hold me up any longer. I crashed to the ground, landing in a pathetic heap.

“Oh, God, Marcus, come here,” I demanded. “Get down here already.”

I lay backward on the ground, waiting for him to climb over me. As soon as he did, I scraped at the last bit of energy I had to flip him onto his back. He’d just given me the most amazing pleasure ever, and I wanted to do the same for him. I straddled him, slid down over him, and rode him until he was a screaming, shuddering mess – just like me...

  ***

“I really do love your view,” I murmured sleepily as I turned over in Marcus’ bed. “I could look at it all day long.” I hoped that didn’t come across as an ask-me-to-move-in thing because I really didn’t mean it that way. I just liked looking at New York from that angle.

“Yeah, it’s pretty great.” He wrapped his arm tighter around me and pulled me in even tighter to his body. “That’s why I don’t think I could ever leave here. Could you imagine having any other view than this one?”

“Are you trying to tell me it’s better than the view of your white horses from your castle?” I teased, shoving him a little bit. “It must be incredible to see your masses of lands.” All I was doing was showing my ignorance about English life, but that didn’t matter. The fantasy of his royal life in the UK was good enough for me.

“Oh, ha ha,” he replied sarcastically. “So, are you telling me that it really doesn’t bother you? Who I am, I mean?”

Huh? Is he insane? I turned my entire body around to face him. “What are you talking about? Of course, it doesn’t bother me, why would it?” Had he really had troubles in his life with his title? Was that why he’d run away? I knew it was family related, but I had no idea what the details were. Should I?

This was the reason I should take more interest in the people Cameron told me about. Maddie would, she probably knew everything already...
