He smiled. “There’s no such thing as too close when it comes to you.”
Her eyes widened. Oooh, he is flirtin somethin’ fierce today. “Now, that is an original line!”
Smiling, he leaned in closer. “I was wondering Miss Noble…”
“Yes?” She batted her eyes. “Wait…You can call me Vic okay?”
“Okay, Vic. I was wondering if maybe on our lunch break, could we…maybe spend some time together?”
Her heart was pounding hard in her chest as his breath wafted across her lips. Images of them under a tree in each other’s arms came to her mind. “Um—sure.”
He smiled and swiped his tongue over her bottom lip.
Victoria sucked her breath in. Damn…a really sexy move, she had to admit.
“So, where did you plan on taking your lunch?” he asked close to her lips.
Victoria suddenly realized where her sister might be and she could use her lunch hour to find her and kick her ass into gear. Like a bolt from the blue, it came to her. “The bunkhouse!” she exclaimed.
Wrinkling his brow, Breen looked confused. “The—?”
“Yes! Come on! That would be just the right place to do it!”
His eyes widened. “D-do—it?”
“Yeah. I mean what better place? It would be empty at noon, while all the hands are out. Private and there’s all those beds.”
He blinked his eyes while looking lost.
She grabbed his hand. “Let’s go, while there’s still time. Talk about a place to get it on. Yes, that is it!” She tugged him out the door. Her sister would be that daring too, going in there with Jude and having sex in a bunk while all those cowboys snored all around them. Just her style of ‘sexcitement’ as Valeen called it. Doing it in public restrooms. In a corner booth at the bar and all sorts of risky places type of sex.
“O-okay?” he stuttered as she hauled him along the cowhand path off to the side of the main house.
“I can’t wait to do this,” she gushed. Thinking about the humiliation, she could bring to her wayward lazy sister. After what she’d done to her, she deserved far worse actually. Carrying on with the cowboy Victoria wanted, all while making him believe it’d been Victoria he was sleeping with!
Breen stayed quiet behind her.
They neared the bunkhouse and Victoria stopped to look around. “You think it’s empty this time of day?”
“Um…yeah. All the hands are up by dawn and out to work.”
“Great! It will be perfect then.”
“But since it’s just before lunch, they will be coming in soon,” Breen added in a worried voice. “Are you sure you want to do this?”
Victoria turned around. “Yes, I am sure! I want them all here to watch!”
He gulped and shook his head as if he hadn’t heard her correctly. “W-what?” His voice rose.
She placed a finger up to his lips. “Shhh. I don’t want to get caught doing it, just yet.”
His eyes were huge as he stared at her. He grabbed her fingers and lowered his lips to them. “You are too special for this though, Vic.”
Victoria’s stomach clenched. Such a hot sexy mouth this man has. “Well, thank you, but you just don’t get it. This is why I’m in a hurry, so we can get to OUR lunch date.”
He halted. “I—I’m not sure if this is the right place t-to—.”
“What?” she hushed him again. “It is the perfect place! Now come on.” She glanced down at her princess watch. “We need to time this just right.”
He looked hesitant.
“Trust me, Breen,” she said and opened the door.
She went in and he followed.
Light slanted in from several windows, but none of the overhead lights were on. There were rows and rows of bunkhouse beds.
Victoria tiptoed along them, peeking close at each one.
Breen spoke up, “What are you—?”
“Shhh! We don’t want her to hear us.”
“Her?”
“Yes, this is where my sister is. It’s the perfect place for kink.” She heard his gasp from behind her. Well, he should be shocked! Her slutty sister was in here after she had all night sex with Jude right here with all the cowboys, sleeping around them both.
“B-but I thought it would just be us?”
“Yes, it will be. You’re gonna help me.” She then spotted a sparkling on the floor three beds up. THERE! It had to be the strap of Valeen’s, high heels. Victoria gazed around. “Breen, there’s a rope on that bunk over there, can you bring it to me?”
He stood very still.
“Breen?”
“Um, uhh—rope?”
“Yes,” she whispered back. “We can’t do this without rope.”
He cleared his throat. “Um, Victoria…I’m not so sure—?”
“Brea, please? I need you,” she placed her hand on his chest as she pleaded.
He stared at her face for a long minute, then he shrugged his shoulders. “I can’t turn you down for anything in the world.” He turned and went over to get the rope. Then, he tiptoed back over.
Victoria thought she’d seen some cute things in her life. Puppies playing, little chicks in the yard. Kids dressed in their Sunday best. But a tall, sexy ass cowboy tiptoeing in his boots? That took the prize. She smothered her giggle.
He raised the rope. “What now?”
Shaking her head, she leaned in close to whisper, “Tie a lasso in it.”
He raised his brows.
Knowing this was just the right lesson, she nodded her head. “Make it the right size to fit around say…my waist.”
He sighed and shook his head. “I never thought I would be doing this.”
Victoria giggled. “Me neither, but you will see that it will really be satisfying.”
He snickered. “Maybe, but this…” He raised the lasso.
“Perfect!” she whispered as she saw the neatly tied lasso. “Now, follow me.”
He nodded, though he still seemed hesitant.
“Okay, she’s right there. Hand me the lasso.”
“You were serious about this?” He halted.
“Hells yeah. This is can’t happen unless I lasso her.” She grabbed the rope from his hands. “It’s gonna be a hoot, and you’ll see…You won’t ever be the same afterwards!”
Breen stood very still and looked as if he might bolt.
Victoria shook her head. Cowboys were fine with wrestling bulls and heifers down, hit them with brands and all that tough cowpoke stuff but they were too scared to lasso a woman? Sheesh. She tiptoed forward and she could hear that familiar snore from her sister. She put the rope over her own arm and then tapped her watch, so it would light up.
Breen stood a couple of feet away, looking nervous.
She raised her finger to her lips to remind him to silence. She needed to wait for that bunkhouse door to open. It figures, her sister had gotten too drunk and oversexed herself then was still sleeping at this time of day too. Well, after this, she might rethink he drunken waywardness!
A noise came from the front of the bunkhouse and she saw Breen turn his head.
Suddenly, the echoing of male voices flooded into the large room.
That was her cue! She rolled the blanket down and revealed what she thought she would find. SKIN! “Great, she is totally nude too!” she whispered as she glanced over at Breen.
His eyes were wide and disbelieving. “Oh, I mean I have always dreamed of—but I don’t know about both of—?”
“No! It’s gonna be better than I thought!” she whispered excitedly.
Breen shook his head while looking troubled. His face looked flushed and he anxiously tapped his boot on the floor.
The voices came closer as more and more lights came on.
Okay, now! Victoria grabbed the lasso and lifted her limp bodied sister up, then swiftly pulled the lasso down over her big boobs and cinched it around her waist.
“W-What is…?” Valeen spluttered in groggy voice.
Victoria tossed th
e end to Breen. “Grab it and help me to tug her up!”
He gazed down at the rope. “Victoria. This is wrong and—”
“Do it quick! She has to be taught this lesson Breen!”
He blinked at her and glanced over at the approaching cowboys. Then back at her and suddenly, he grinned. “Oh!” He reached down and grabbed the rope. Then he tugged.
Victoria sat her sister upright and moved her forward, she did not intend to give her severe rope burn, but this hussy was getting up and out of this dammed bunk!
“What is happening?” Valeen’s head wobbled as she tried to focus.
Victoria smiled. “Comeuppance, sis.” She stood her up and then grabbed the rope. “Simple pure…comeuppance!”
Audible male gasps could be heard loudly now.
“What in the hell?” one male voice asked.
Victoria tugged her sister along.
Valeen stared all around at the smiling men. “What in the fuq are they smiling at?”
Whistles started then and a couple of WAHOO’s too.
Stumbling along, Valeen finally gazed down at herself, then her stunned gaze shot up at her twin.
“Yep!” Victoria tugged her by rope all along the men who lined either side of the beds now. “Time to pay up for your slutty behavior, sis.” She gave her a wink. “Sexciting…isn’t it?”
“Oh, my god!” Valeen screamed as she tried to cover herself.
“Why you gotta do that?” Victoria asked breathlessly as she pulled her twin along. “You always wanted men to look at you!” She laughed loudly as the entire bunkhouse broke out into applause and loud catcalls. “And now they are!”
Breen waited at the front door and opened it with a bow.
“Thanks Breen!”
He nodded his head. “Damn, you are one awesome woman, Vic!”
She beamed at him and strode out the door with a naked, panicked, screaming sister behind her.
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Hell For Leather…
DAISY
Daisy stood in front of the full length mirror.
“You look gorgeous, Momma Daisy!” Maggie gushed from behind her.
They had spent the last couple of hours getting her ready. Her hair was an updo as blonde ringlets fell all around her face. Her dress was a burgundy velvet with a lace camisole. Her makeup was light and her scent was magnolia musk.
“You’re ready!” Maggie announced.
Daisy gulped. “Am I?” Her hands shook as she adjusted her pearl barrette.
“You sure are! So, it’s just about time and we need to get to the back door.” Maggie grabbed her bouquet and took her hand, tugging her to the door.
“Are y-you sure it’s time?”
“Yes, Dad told me to have you at the back door!” She tugged her along the hall and down the stairs. “You should see the back area. There’s even grooms on horses all lined up! It’ so cowboy!”
“What?” Daisy had no trouble keeping up as she opted for low heels after that dream she had. No face planting today. They approached the backdoor and Daisy tried to keep the nightmare out of her head. He would never really do that to her. It was all just her fear.
Maggie stopped her just at the edge of the hallway.
“W-what are we—?” Her gaze caught sight of a man in a tux with his back to her.
“Now, stay here for a minute and someone will come and tell you when it’s time. I’m supposed to be out there already.” Maggie patted her hand. “Momma, don’t look so scared. It will all be okay.” She kissed her cheek.
Daisy tried to smile but her face felt like stiff molasses, her muscles wouldn’t move. Then she could not take her eyes off the man at the end of the hallway. She couldn’t quite make him out from here though. She tried to calm her breathing and bolster herself. This will be the perfect wedding, so many years it took to get here. Maggie deserved for her parents to finally be married and she wasn’t going to let her fear get in the way.
Someone touched her arm and she nearly jumped out of her skin. She turned to look at whoever it was.
THE BLONDE AUSSIE HUSSY!
Celia Bennett smiled at her.
Oh, no! Her heart pounded in her chest. No… it’s just a coincidence. Don’t panic. It will be okay.
“Rand sent me to make sure you got to the door.” She gave her a bright smile.
SEE? It is all perfectly normal. Just take the steps.
Celia took her elbow and escorted her to the end of the long hallway to where the man in the tux stood. As they got closer Daisy’s panic started to rise again. He looks like—
The man heard them approach and turned to smile at her.
Daisy couldn’t seem to swallow as she gaped at him.
He stretched his hand out. “I’m—”
“YOU!” Daisy shouted. “Hunter Monroe!”
“Why yes. I didn’t think you would remember me…” He blinked his eyes.
Daisy looked over at the blonde.
She was beaming a huge smile at her.
“OH, CRAP!” Daisy shouted as she dropped her bouquet and took a swing at Hunter.
Her fist met with his jaw and he stumbled back.
“Oh!” a surprised shout came from Celia behind her.
Daisy was in full panic mode now. She grabbed her wedding dress in a bunch with both hands and stepped around a dazed Hunter, then bolted through the door into the blazing sunlight.
Everything looked bright and blurry as she saw the horses lined up along the red carpet. Her eyes fell to the carpet. The flower petals! Daisy was huffing and puffing. No way! He will not leave me there to be humiliated! She then took off in a wedding dress hiked up sprint across the wide green lawn.
She heard noises and disruption behind her along with yelling but she couldn’t stop running, her mind was blank with fear and misery.
“Wait!” someone yelled.
She didn’t care, it was probably that Hunter-Rand-wannabe. It was all exactly like her nightmare. For all she knew, this was the same nightmare and she was back in her bed, tossing and turning. Daisy kept running. Then after a minute or two, she heard a strange sound. A pounding along the ground. She finally turned her head.
A horse was galloping toward her.
Her eyes swung up to see a rider on it. The sun blocked her sight, so she couldn’t see the rider’s face.
“Dammit Daze!”
Her heart nearly stopped. It’s Rand! Oh God, I fucked up! Being the Daisy that she was, the first thought in her befuddled mind was to keep running. She couldn’t face him. Not after believing he would dupe her. She could never explain…She looked back again.
The man was like something from a large screen movie, as things seemed to slow down. His handsome face wore a determined look as his cobalt gaze focused on her. Grass flew up with the horse’s hooves as the sunlight glinted off his sandy colored hair, looking as if he wore a sun tailored halo. He skillfully maneuvered the horse closer and came right alongside her, picking her up off the ground.
“Ohh!” Daisy screamed as her body was in the air while her feet left the grass and she landed in his lap.
Looking enraged, he wheeled the horse around and turned it back the way he came.
Her Leatherman had just swept her up from the prairie—wedding dress and all!
He rode fast, then slowed the horse to a gallop.
Daisy was nearly hyperventilating while she caught the glorious scent of him. So crisp and clean. Her body throbbed with both desire and pain. He was never gonna marry her now! She wanted to cry and scream at the same time but shock kept her silent…for once.
Rand slowed the horse and then halted it. He slid to the ground with her in his arms. He carefully set her to the ground.
Biting her lip and panting heavily, she looked everywhere but at him.
“Daze,” he whispered.
She lowered her head.
“Look at me!”
Her head rose up. Here it comes. He will leave me at the altar now. A
nd it will be by my doing! Stupid woman, stupid fear—
“Where is your bouquet?” he asked quietly.
Her eyes finally met his. Yes, Daze take a good long look into those magnetic blue lasers, because it will be the last time you see them. “W-what?”
“Here it is!” The blonde woman, Celia handed it to her and then stepped away.
She stared at this man whom she had wronged so many times. I’m just not worth it.
“I want you to take a deep breath, then answer a question for me,” he whispered to her.
Daisy felt tears fill her eyes. How can he be so calm? He just had to ride hell for leather to grab me up and bring me back after I left him standing there…again! I know why though. He’s calm because he’s just tired of it, that’s what! She did as he said. Daisy took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
“Do you want to be my wife?” he asked quietly.
Her eyes widened. “Of course!” the answer popped out without thought.
Rand gazed into her eyes. “Really?”
She nodded her head. “But I know that after what I just did that you—”
Rand grabbed her arms. “I don’t want to hear anything else. Just do one thing for me. Walk that aisle and when you speak again, just say…I DO.”
She batted her eyes while feeling stunned and almost stumbled back.
“Got it?” He steadied her.
She felt breathless as she silently nodded.
Rand turned, walked around the chairs and horses, then disappeared out of her sight. She heard him shout, “HUNTER!”
Then his brother appeared. The man looked so much like his older brother, yet not.
Daisy winced as she saw the purple bruise on his strong jawline as he moved beside her and held out his arm. He gave her a wink.
Daisy looped her arm into his and turned toward the red carpet.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
You sure are mouthy for a sex slave.
KANDA
Kanda woke up and Wade was above her. She looked to her hands and the rope was gone. I must have dozed off after—after breakfast. Her cheeks grew hot.
Wade smiled down at her. “You’re free.”
Blinking her eyes, she stared up at his face. “Free?”
He nodded.
