“Take off your jeans, turn around and face the post at the foot of the bed,” I order.
Aiden races to comply while I go to the drawer and retrieve the items I want. I swiftly wrap each wrist in a padded cuff and raise his arm.
“These click into the D rings at the top of the canopy. I can have you out in a minute. Understand?”
“Yes.”
I repeat on the other arm until Aiden is standing to the side of the post, his arms outstretched forming a beautiful vee. He’s facing away and can’t see me, but that will only heighten his anticipation.
My deer skin flogger hangs in a place of pride in my dressing room. I fetch that, and a smaller, stingier flogger, that I may use depending on Aiden’s reactions. I wrap my fingers around the handle, and the soft, smooth leather warms to my touch. I flex my wrists and fingers before swishing the thongs with a whip of my arm. The light swoosh is a familiar and grounding sound. I repeat the action and begin flicking my wrist out harder. The flogger is still feet away from Aiden, but as the tails snap back, he tenses at the sound.
Much of a submissives’ anticipation will be in their minds. Second guessing when it will hit, how hard it will land, and the sting on their flesh. I didn’t want to mind fuck Aiden tonight. I wanted his experience with the flogger to be pleasurable and spike his lust.
I step closer to my target and gently flick the flogger over his back, buttocks, and thighs to let his skin grow accustomed to the feel. I want him to relax and not fear the strike. For now.
“How are you feeling?”
“Good. It’s nice, like an interesting massage.”
“Keep that in your mind.”
I remove my heels and work my toes into the carpet to steady myself. My arm swings out in a low arc, testing the distance. Electricity simmers through my limbs as I take the final test before I aim and strike in the centre of Aiden’s shoulder blades. The low thud causes his muscles to bunch and flinch, but nothing more. I take another swing and another, dancing the tails across his shoulder blades. My aim moves lower, hitting his arse and lower thighs. Each strike grows in strength until I start to hear low grunts from Aiden.
“Still good?” It has only been a few minutes, but I want to make sure he is comfortable. My conscience pips up to say I was overly cautious with Aiden. I didn’t mind.
“God, yes,” Aiden pants and a smile ambushes my lips.
“Okay, then.” I go back to work, concentrating on his arse and thighs until a red tinge covers his skin. I move my position, so I can peek around his masculine frame and see his cock. His erection is long and thick, the skin pulled all the way back exposing the head which glistens with pre-cum. Aiden enjoys the flogger as much as I do.
My arm unleashes several quick whips that are heavier on impact. Aiden drops his head back in surrender to the sensation as the room fills with a throaty groan. I continue to a steady rhythm wanting to bring Aiden that sense of utter bliss and serenity.
My body buzzes with each hit, finally allowing myself to enjoy Aiden the way I had all my past submissives.
The flogging continues for another few minutes. Time seeps away as I focus solely on the arc of my arm and the reaction of Aiden. I watch each and every quiver and flinch from his body and adjust my throw accordingly. The action is a cathartic release for all the emotions that have twisted their way into my heart. With each strike, I feel lighter, more centred, more at ease.
I’m more comfortable here then I’ve been in weeks. Dominance is a part of me. A physical aspect of my body as pivotal as a leg or hand. I need to acknowledge that fact again.
I assess Aiden and see his muscles slumped slightly in the cuffs. His glowing skin takes my breath away, and I pause to let the vision sear into my memory. I drop the flogger onto the carpet at my feet.
“My cock feels like it’s going to explode,” Aiden mumbles to me as I approach. My fingers trace down his chest, the sweat easing my flow.
“Then let’s get you taken care of. I’m so pleased with you.” The warmth in my voice mirrors my feelings. Emotion lodges in my throat as I stand before Aiden at his most vulnerable.
I cup my hand around his cock and slide down his shaft.
“Shit!” Aiden draws out a long curse as hot ribbons of come pump over my hand. He convulses as his orgasm racks his body, his arms tensing to try and keep him upright. He would collapse the moment the cuffs are off.
I leave for a moment to clean my hands and come back to remove Aiden from his bindings. He slumps his arms down to the side, and we collapse onto the bed.
I unhook my corset and remove my trousers before climbing back onto the bed with Aiden and run my hand through his short, dirty blond hair, now saturated with sweat. His eyes flutter shut as he relaxes deep into the mattress.
“How are you feeling?” I continue stroking his hair as satisfaction suffuses through me, making me hum.
“That was intense. Like, really hot, intense. You drained me.”
“I’m just going to lie with you and let you come back down to earth.”
“Yeah.”
I grab a blanket from the end of the bed and pull it over the lower half of his body. The sweat from earlier will have already started to cool.
I head down to get a glass of water and place it on the side table. Aiden looks wiped out. I go back to watching over him and playing with his short hair through my fingers.
A warmth permeates from my chest and grips my heart. This… boy, has put his care and pleasure solely in my hands and trusts me to take care of him. Each layer of surrender has pulled me closer to him, much more than anyone in my past.
At the same time, he’s looked out for me, worked to please me, and incorporated me into his life. I sit and watch over him, a sense of serenity descending over the room. The chemistry between us just a few moments ago was electric. Aiden and I have been throwing sparks since the beginning, but what I felt ran deeper than just a physical attraction now. It was embedded inside of me.
I class it as a privilege to have taken Aiden on this sexual discovery, one that will bind us closer than any other person in my life.
I wiggle my body down into the bed and pull the covers over us without disturbing Aiden. He needs to rest, and I certainly don’t want to let him go for the night. Not tonight. And maybe not any night.
I wake up and turn over in bed. Aiden is already awake. His smiling eyes search my face. He’s a stunning sight to see first thing in the morning.
“Morning.” His sexy smile throws me back into last night’s events.
“Morning. How long have you been awake?”
“Not long.”
“It’s becoming a habit, you, waking up and watching me sleep.”
“I can’t be held responsible for that. Besides, I’ve been thinking.”
“About?”
“Us. I want to take you away. Just for the weekend.” The need to please me practically buzzes from Aiden. I’ve never found it as charming as it is now.
“Isn’t a weekend trip something that couples do?”
“Yes. We are a couple. I would have said that before visiting Solace, but now there’s no backing out.”
I can’t fault his logic. “Okay, I will agree on the relationship.”
Aiden doesn’t realise just how much of a step this is for me. But it feels right. I’ve never felt the way I do about Aiden with anyone else. “But going away? You have Peter to think about, and I have my mum.” I sit up in bed and pull the covers around me. I can’t fight this with Aiden leaning over me.
“So, we’re bound to our parents for the rest of our lives?”
“No, but I…”
“Please don’t argue with me about this. I’d like to take my girlfriend away for a weekend. Nothing fancy, just some time together.”
“We’ve done nothing but spend time together these past months.”
“We’ve spent time together in your bedroom. I want to go out, walk down the street, go for food or coffee with you.”<

I hadn’t pegged Aiden as a romantic at heart. Maybe I was wrong. “You know it’s usually the woman who’s demanding these things, right.”
“I won’t ever apologise for wanting to be with you.”
“What did you have in mind?”
“Just a quick trip to Edinburgh. It’s loaded with art, culture, food, whatever takes your fancy. I have a few things in mind, but they will be revealed when we’re there. Edinburgh has been on my list of places to visit for a while. Have you been?”
“Not for a long time. Edinburgh, it is.”
Aiden gives me the biggest smile, exposing his dimple. He leans into me and seeks my lips. I’m in no mood to push him away so happily let him play my lips with his. It’s not long before a quick kiss turns heated and my body responds to his.
“Stop… or we won’t be getting out of bed. I need to take a shower. You need to get the coffee on.” I disappear and close the door. With distance, I pick through my brain and find my rational head. Playing the happy couple would be new. Weekend trips away didn’t ever involve my current partner. Of course, Aiden is breaking all the rules.
I shower and shampoo my hair, coating the long strands in a conditioning mask that I’d rinse off after my coffee. If Aiden is going to be staying more often, I’d have to get him used to putting the machine on and bringing me my cup.
My bathrobe hangs on the back of the door, and I wrap myself in its warmth before looking for Aiden and my coffee. I pad downstairs but don’t see him in the kitchen.
“Aiden?”
“At the door. You have a visitor.”
“What?” I hurry to the door to see who would be calling now and why the hell Aiden thought it appropriate to answer my front door. “Sarah?”
She stands in the doorway, looking small and frail next to Aiden who’s just in a pair of boxers.
“Is everything all right?” I signal Aiden to leave us with a raise of my eyebrows.
“Um, yes. Although it’s silly really. As I saw you last night, I thought I’d see if you’d reconsidered coming back to Solace. Apparently, things have changed for you. Perhaps your mum’s getting better, so you can come back after all?”
“Sarah, I’m not comfortable with you turning up here unannounced. You shouldn’t even have my address. The rules we negotiated applied to Solace. Nothing outside of that.”
“Clearly they don’t apply anymore otherwise he wouldn’t be here,” she spits.
“My relationships aren’t any of your concern, Sarah. Does Master Andrew know you’re here?”
“No.” She lowers her head slightly, not wanting to look me in the eye.
“Has something happened with him?”
“No.”
“Then I don’t understand?”
“Well, I guess that answers it. Maybe we’ll see you at Solace.” She turns around and scurries away from the front door.
“What was that about?” Aiden cups my shoulders, pulling me back against his muscular chest.
“I don’t know, but I’ll be speaking to Andrew again. Her behaviour is worrying.”
“Has she ever turned up before?”
“No. Although she might have without my knowledge. She let something slip during our final scene.”
Aiden’s grip tightens on me, and I realise thinking over the situation with Sarah I’ve gone quiet.
“Is the coffee ready? Because if it’s not, I can be persuaded to show you some more forms of discipline.” I change the subject.
“It’s done, it’s done.” He kisses my head before heading quickly back through to the kitchen.

“You know, part of what makes me a good Domme is my need for control. Surprises and being kept in the dark are not my favourite things.” It’s true. But I haven’t been able to crack anything out of Aiden all week.
“We’re going to Edinburgh. We will have a great time. We fly Friday night, and we’re home on Sunday afternoon. What else do you need to know?”
“The flight details, what the hotel is like, the room you’ve booked. Does it have facilities, do you plan to take us out? Come on Aiden. I could go on.”
“And I know you will, but you’re going to have to deal with this. I follow you in the bedroom. You’ve said nothing about applying that outside.”
“Don’t tempt me.”
“You don’t scare me, Natasha. I’ve felt your bite, and I like it.”
I give him a pointed glare that wipes the cocky smile from his face.
“I’ll go and get you a coffee from George and let you speak to your mum alone.” He leaves me, and I go and find Mum in the social room. Annie is with her again this evening. Seems like Thursdays are a busy evening for visitors. I go and join them.
“Hi, Mum. Nice to see you, Mrs Frank.”
“Hello, dear. You remember Annie?”
“Yes, Mum.”
“She’s been filling me in on the village gossip.”
I nod and smile, my mind still half on Aiden’s plans for the weekend. I also must tell Mum I wouldn’t be around to see her the next few days. I don’t want to upset her, but Aiden is right. I can’t live my life around Mum’s schedule.
“Mum, I’ve put some fresh flowers in your room. They have plenty of water. Yellow roses this time.”
“That’s thoughtful of you.”
Annie checks her watch and stands. “I better be off. I’ll see you next week, Agatha.”
“Okay, Annie. Can you see yourself out?”
“Yes, stay and talk with Natasha. Bye, dear.” She gives my shoulder a squeeze as she passes and leaves me to it.
“Mum, do you like it here?”
“That’s a bit of a strange question.”
“Humour me.”
“Well, yes. It’s nice. I have a lovely room with all my things, and the staff is friendly. I’ve met a few new people.”
“I’m going away for the weekend, that’s all, and I wanted to make sure you’d be all right until Tuesday.” I don’t know why I am feeling so guilty about going away. It’s only a couple of days, but I felt like I was confessing a mortal sin. I’d been tied up at work and unable to visit before. But this is a personal trip. I’m putting my happiness over Mum’s. That’s why I feel so guilty.
“Well, that’s all right. You come and see me plenty. I understand.”
Today she is having a good day. One of the days which makes me question why I put her here in the first place. Her days are always unpredictable, though, like choosing a chocolate out of the box without the menu card.
“I’ll be back on Tuesday, and maybe next weekend we can go out for lunch?”
“That sounds lovely. I’m sorry I’m a burden to you.”
“You are not a burden, Mum. Never.” I squeeze her hand tightly in mine and consider her grey eyes that were once as bright as mine are now.
I’ve grown closer to my mum since she’s been at The Pines than I have in the previous several years. She needs me, and I am happy to be here for her. She’s always supported me and given me every opportunity I desired. It’s the least I could do for the years she’s given to me.
Aiden and I both say our goodbye’s and head back home.
“This is becoming a habit.”
“Sleeping over?”
“Yes. It’s not something I would have previously allowed.”
“Previously?”
“If I was with a submissive partner, they didn’t stay over, and I never went to their house.”
“I did wonder if you’d ever want to come to visit my place.”
“Maybe when we’re back?” I offer. What’s one more broken rule?
I avoid bombarding Aiden with questions all morning and instead concentrate on the items for my hold luggage. I’ve decided to play with Aiden this weekend and introduce him to a new level of pain. The vampire glove would be perfect, and I make sure I pack one of my favourite oils as well. Boots, several outfits plus day wear all go into the hold case.
“Yo
u’re not taking hand luggage?” Aiden comes up with a smoothie for me and stares at the case. I take the smoothie and just look at him.
“Okay, hold luggage it is.” He takes it downstairs ready for the taxi.
Four hours later, we pull up outside of Hotel Du Vin in Edinburgh. It’s a gorgeous hotel and ideally situated to visit the city and castle.
“I’d like to check in please.”
“Certainly, sir. Can I have the name.”
“Mr and Mrs Devlin.”
My head whips around to Aiden as my eyes grow as big as an owl’s.
“Priceless.” He smiles as if his plan succeeded.
The bell hop shows us up to the suite, and I must admit I’m impressed. A large room, with a sofa area in front of a balcony. I peek inside the bathroom and am immensely happy with the open plan rain head shower and roll top bath. The boy has done good.
“I’m impressed, Aiden. I didn’t think someone of your age would choose such a sophisticated hotel for us.” I step toward him but see the joy in his face drain away.
“What do you mean someone of my age? I’m 25.”
“I meant it as a compliment.”
“But you’ve got a hang up about my age.”
I take his statement as a question. “No, I don’t. This is the perfect hotel choice, and I’m very pleased. I wasn’t expecting this.” I run my hands down his arms and then up his chest. “Thank you for going to so much trouble to make sure I’m happy.”
My comment diffuses the situation, and I breathe a sigh of relief. My intention wasn’t to offend him, but I am still surprised. Aiden seems more mature than his years, and perhaps I should continue to give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the year of his birth.
We’re quiet for the next hour. Clearly, my early comment created tension. Our time together is limited, and I don’t want either of us to be awkward. He dragged me away for this break, so we were going to make it work.
“Do you have anything planned for this evening? We have time to go and walk around the city, grab something to eat, and then have an early night. You might not have let me in on your plans, but I have plans of my own.”
