I Want You Back

She wrapped her hand around him. He was too big for her to take him completely into her mouth. She stroked him, keeping her fist tight, and created as much suction as she could.

“Damn.” His guttural curse was the only warning she received. He exploded, filling her mouth with his cum. She swallowed over and over, but it was too much. Liquid escaped the corners of her mouth. She lovingly licked him clean before using her fingers to capture the cream running down the sides of her face.

Stephen collapsed down onto the sofa. His chest heaved as he caught his breath. Ashley redid his pants for him. “You are so wrong,” he said. “How do you suck me off and then stand before me and look as though nothing happened? Like your pussy isn’t soaked and bare?” He cupped her chin and ran his thumb over her bottom lip.

“Well, I imagine my gloss is gone.” She smoothed out her skirt. “And I’m a bit rumpled.”

“You’re gorgeous. By the way, I like the haircut. It’s sexy as hell.”

She put a hand to her short curls. “Thank you.”

He glanced at his watch. “Hell, I’ve got to go.”

They gathered up the food and put it away. Ashley picked up her ruined panties and dropped them into her purse. She bit her lip at the door, her hand on the knob. “We didn’t really talk like I’d planned. I’d really like to have your decision soon.” She turned to leave. He was there in an instant, one large palm spanning her belly, his hips flush against her, pressing his thick cock into her behind.

“Ash, I don’t have the foggiest idea if I can ever forgive you. But I know I want you.”

  “Stephen-”

“Shh. Do you remember what I told you when I asked you out for our first date?”

She nodded. “You warned me that at the end of the night you were going to tongue fuck me.”

  “And the second date?”

She wet her lips. “You said you’d take me with your fingers.”

  “The third?”

She barely contained her whimper. “That you expected me to spread my thighs wide and let you fuck me all night.”

  “What else?”

She swallowed. “That I should let my neighbors know in advance that you would be fucking me so that when they heard screaming they wouldn’t call the police.”

His hand slid down and cupped her pussy through her skirt. “I can’t get out of the dinner with Aster. But after, I’m coming for you. Be ready because I’m fucking you tonight.”

  ***

Aster sipped her white wine. Stephen marveled at her perfection. She’d eaten an entire meal and her pale pink lipstick was as flawless as when they were seated. The shade matched her blouse and her glossy nails. He suddenly realized that Aster only wore pastels. It was a startling contrast to Ashley who favored rich, vibrant colors that emphasized her caramel skin. That was his Ashley. Lively, exciting, unpredictable, and never dull. With a wry twist of his lips, he mentally added duplicitous to that list.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the Tiffany blue box and placed it in front of Aster. He was certain of her answer. Her parents had been as insistent about pushing for a marriage between them as his had been. Aster’s father had retired before his own father due to poor health but the family still owned fifty percent of the company. Since Aster had never made a secret of her disinterest in working, a marriage between the two of them would be the Burkes way of keeping a modicum of control over the day to day operations of the business.

She opened the box. There wasn’t a hint of surprise or joy on her face. “Stephen, it’s beautiful,” she said, her words almost hesitant. She seemed subdued, not at all like a woman who’d just been proposed to.

Maybe he’d been too sure of himself. Maybe it was too soon in their relationship. “And?”

“Do you know I’ve had a crush on you ever since I was twelve?”

  “No, I didn’t.”

“That’s because you’ve never loved me that way. We’ve been dating for three months and not once have you ever attempted to become intimate with me. When you kiss me or hold me, there’s no passion whatsoever. Let’s face it. You’re not in love with me and you’re not attracted to me either.”

He stiffened his spine to keep from squirming beneath her astute observations. Aster was very lovely. But in the way of a porcelain doll one shouldn’t touch. It didn’t help that they’d been raised in such close proximity to each other. He practically saw her as a sister. But a promise was a promise. “That’s not true. You’re beautiful. You’re well aware of your charms.”

She smiled. “Thank you.” Her voice gentled as she said, “I know that it was your father’s dying wish that you marry me. If it weren’t, would you ever have given me a second thought?”

“I can see that I’ve screwed this up again.”

She shook her head and her dark curls danced around her shoulders. “Answer the question. I’m not blind, Stephen. I lost you the first time you saw Ashley. I will always love you, but I deserve more from a husband than a man who’s pining away for another woman. Or worse, an unfaithful husband.”

Shame at his recent behavior had him lowering his head. He’d never been a cheater. Prior to this, he always made sure that the women he dated understood that his interest was casual. The only time he’d dated anyone exclusively, it had been Ashley. The painful end of their relationship had discouraged him from ever giving his heart to another woman. He’d gone back to playing the field until his parents despaired of him ever settling down. Hence his father’s death wish and tonight’s proposal. The situation with Ashley returning was unprecedented. He’d never had a woman pursue him with such single minded determination. She wasn’t going to give up. He had to admit he found it flattering…and sexy as hell. Because it was Ash, he hadn’t had a chance of resisting. Damn it. He hated that she had so much power over him.

“You’re right,” he admitted. His father had gone on and on about how Aster would make the ideal wife. It was like Denton was trying to ensure his happiness after he’d passed on. In the end, he’d promised his father that he would propose to give him peace of mind. Suddenly he realized with an almost overwhelming sense of relief, that he’d kept his promise. He’d said he’d ask her to marry him and he had. He couldn’t force Aster to accept his proposal.

“And if you really think about it, you don’t want that type of half-hearted marriage either. Why don’t you take her back?”

“You don’t know what she did.”

She closed the ring box and handed it back to him. “Tell me about it then.”

He sighed and placed the box in his pocket. He told her about Ashley taking a bribe from his father to leave him and about her claims to need the money to help her parents.

“You don’t believe that’s why she took the money?”

“Obviously I can’t trust her,” he said bitterly.

“Stephen, not everyone is born wealthy. It’s fine to hold high ideals of what you will and won’t do when you’ve always had access to money. When have we ever had to handle any sort of financial hardship? She had a very difficult decision. It sounds like she made an unselfish choice in the best interest of her family.”

He grunted. “That is if you believe her story.” Even then, he felt resentful and jealous that she would choose her family over him. The thought made him feel small and petty. She should have trusted him enough to tell him. They were a couple. They should have handled the situation together. “You can’t very well expect me to fall back into her gold digging clutches.”

“You know her better than I do.” She reached across the table and took his hand. “No matter what you choose, I will always be your friend, but I don’t think we should call these dates anymore.”

  “I’m sorry, Aster.”

“Don’t be sorry. Part of me knew from the very beginning that your heart wasn’t in it.”

When he left her at her door that night and they exchanged a hug rather than a kiss, he again knew a moment of relief. He hadn’t real
ized it before, but each time they’d gone out, he’d been dreading the upcoming goodnight kiss. It was like kissing his sister. If they’d actually married, he didn’t know if he would have been capable of consummating the marriage.

Stephen slid behind the wheel of his car, his thoughts turning to his evening ahead with Ashley. Finally, after seven years, he would have her again. There had been many women in the intervening years but none had ever sated his need for Ashley. His cock swelled in anticipation and he had to concentrate on not breaking the speed limit.

  ***

Ashley put down her bags. She’d spent the afternoon shopping. Checking her watch, she realized it was almost eight. Hungry, she ventured back out and ended up at a Chinese buffet.

Upon her return to her room, she showered and dressed for bed. She examined the new negligee in the mirror. Sheer black mesh, it left little to the imagination. A bow held it together beneath her breasts. With one tug, Stephen could have her bare. It stopped at her hip and came with a matching equally transparent thong. She ran her hands over her breasts imagining that they were Stephen’s hands, her nipples beading at her touch.

Her cell rang. She was disappointed to find that it wasn’t Stephen. It was Shane. Biting her lip, she sent the call to voicemail. He was a good man. The sooner he accepted that their relationship was over and moved on, the better. She wanted him to find true happiness with a woman that loved him with all her heart. She could never be that woman.

She lay on the bed and waited for Stephen. She’d been wound up with excitement the entire afternoon. Turning on the television to distract herself, she drifted off to sleep. She didn’t hear the door when it opened. When next she opened her eyes, Stephen stood over her bare chested. He removed his pants and flung them behind him in the general direction of a chair.

  “Finally awake, I see.”

She stretched and his eyes dropped to her breasts. Her nipples puckered as a result. “How did dinner with Aster go?”

“I asked her to marry me.” Her heart stopped. “And then she dumped me.” He reached for the ribbon that held the halves of her negligee together. She slapped his hands away and stood.

“You’ve got to be kidding me! How can you drop a bomb like that and then expect me to sleep with you?”

“I told you it was serious.”

Her jaw dropped at his insensitivity. Angry, she crossed her arms over her chest to block his view. “We should postpone tonight. I’m not in the mood anymore.”

“Too bad.” He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her close. “I already told you I was fucking you tonight and I will. Do you recall telling me you’d do anything to get me back? Well, this is what I want. You, legs spread, taking my cock, all night.”

She shivered and her pussy flooded with moisture. Damn, him. She couldn’t afford to take offense at every little petty thing he did to hurt her. He had every reason to want a little revenge. But in the end, she knew their love would win out. He’d forgive her in time. And she wanted him. Seven years without the man she loved was too much. She didn’t stop him this time when he moved to undo the bow. He pushed it off her shoulders and she was naked except for the tiny sheer panties. “Take them off and get on the bed.” It wasn’t a request. It was an order.

He was in complete control. How had it come to this? She was supposed to be seducing him. The scrap of material slid down her legs and hit her ankles. She pulled the covers back and got onto the bed. Stephen’s smile was pure evil. “Hands above your head, thighs open.”

Ashley did as she was told, feeling a bit vulnerable as he took off his briefs and mounted her. His eyes were dark with lust. “Don’t look so scared, baby. This is what you wanted.” His mouth covered hers. The hard wall of his chest abraded her tight nipples. He swiveled his hips and his cock glided between her pussy lips, tormenting the swollen bud of her clit. She moaned even as his tongue plunged past her lips. God, she’d missed this, missed him. No one knew how to touch her like him. No one made her feel the way he did.

He broke the kiss and buried his face in her neck. “I hope you’re ready because I can’t wait much longer.” Despite his words, he moved down her body, his hands cupping her breasts. He didn’t seem in a hurry as he licked her nipples before suckling.

She writhed beneath him, his weight holding her in place. Each movement of her body caused his cock to rub against clit. The moist friction had her on edge and eager to have him inside her. She buried her fingers in his hair as he feasted on her.

He kissed his way down her belly before kissing her spread thighs. Opening her more, he circled her clit with his thumb and then with his tongue. Two fingers penetrated her. She began to shake. Stephen growled. “Don’t you dare come without me.”

Stephen covered her again, fitting himself to her. She grasped his shoulder, stopping his forward movement. “Condom,” she said.

“No. Just you and me. Are you on birth control?” At her nod, he thrust forward, filling her with half his length. “Don’t worry. I’m always safe.” He took her hands and lifted them over her head. He held them captive in one of his. His other hand palmed her buttocks. His eyes burned into hers as he held her in place, deepening his possession of her. “Ash,” he groaned, his voice deep and full of pleasure.

Ashley bit her lip as he stretched her. She was entirely at his mercy as he began to fuck her hard. She couldn’t get away if she wanted. Not that she wanted. She was exactly where she’d longed to be for the past seven years. She spread her thighs wider to give him more room. His hips slammed into hers over and over, the head of his cock stroking over her g-spot with delicious accuracy. She cried out as each plunge of his shaft into her pussy lifted her hips off the mattress.

Without warning, she was coming so hard. Her cunt locked over his cock with such intense spasms that he could barely pull out. She gasped his name. She couldn’t believe she was enjoying his rough loving so much.

“Good?” he asked as she calmed. At her nod, he said, “Then do it again.” He’d never stopped fucking her, only slowed the rhythm. “Wrap your legs around me. Show me you want my cock.”

His command had her aroused and ready once more. She wrapped her legs around him and fucked him back. He buried his face in her neck, sucking and kissing the sensitive skin there. Sweat coated their bodies as they undulated as one.

Reaching between their bodies, he pinched her clit. She bucked in shock. It wasn’t long before she was calling his name as ecstasy exploded in her pussy. The clenching waves spread from her core and rippled out to her nipples, arms and legs. Her face flushed and her toes curled. Stephen growled and drove into her at a wild pace before freezing, his cock buried as deep in her as it could get. The pulses of hot cum splashing against her womb and the feel of his dick jerking inside her strengthened the fading spasms of her climax. He gasped her name before collapsing on her. Releasing her hands, he rolled onto his back, taking her with him. He hugged her tight. At long last, she felt like she was home. She drifted off to sleep with the sound of his heartbeat in her ears.

  Chapter Five

Ashley groaned as Stephen kissed her. She was too sleepy and too tired to open her eyes. “I made coffee. I’m leaving for work. I’ll see you this afternoon and we’ll talk.”

Peeping through one eyelid, she saw he was dressed in a fresh suit. His hair was damp and he smelled of hotel soap. “See you,” she mumbled and buried her head back in the pillow. She thought she heard him chuckle. She wasn’t sure. Rolling over, she allowed sleep to claim her.

When next she woke, her phone was ringing. The display said Daphne. She sat up. Her thighs and pussy were pleasantly sore. “Hi, Daph.”

“You sound like you’re still in bed. It’s noon, girl.”

Glancing at the bedside clock, she laughed. “So it is. I was tired.”

“You lucky slut. You got him back?”

She sighed. They hadn’t discussed getting back together last night. Until she heard the words in no uncertain terms, she would
n’t be satisfied. “Not quite yet, but I’ve got him on the ropes.”

“I’m happy for you, but we miss you here at the school.” Daphne was a fellow teacher. “You won’t guess who I ran into last night.”

  “I can imagine. Shane?”

  “Got it in one.”

Ashley closed her eyes. There was no easy way to handle the situation with Shane. His sudden proposal had stunned her. And it had made her face a reality she’d been denying. She cared for Shane, but she wasn’t in love with him. How could she when her heart was already taken? It was better that they discover that now rather than another five to ten years down the line when they were married and maybe had children. Only she couldn’t convince Shane of that. He believed that she was suffering from cold feet. Not so. She’d marry Stephen in a heartbeat.

  “How was he?”

“Mopey. He says you’re not taking his calls.”

Ashley sighed. “I’ve explained my feelings to him a million times, but he doesn’t want to hear what I have to say.”

“He wants to know where you are.”

“You didn’t tell him, did you?”

“Of course not, but you should give talking to him another try. He says he’s not going to give up until you do.” At Ashley’s growl of frustration, Daphne laughed. “Isn’t this the way it always is? You’ve got one man you’ll follow to the ends of the earth, and another that will make you sprint there to get away from him.”

“I wouldn’t say I’m running from Shane. More like, I’m done with that conversation.”

“My break’s almost up. I hope everything works out for you and your man. How’s the new business venture going?”
