How To Catch A Billionaire (The Full Series) Page 16

by Helen Cooper

  “Yeah funny,” I mumbled.

“She made me realize a lot of things.” His voice was low.

  “Yeah?”

“She made me remember what love means.” His voice was soft and held wonder in it. “That feeling where you would give your life for the person you love.”

“Ha.” I turned away from him blinking rapidly.

“Sarah, I finally realized what true love means. It means that you wake and fall asleep thinking about that person, that your day is better when they are in it, that your dreams are more vivid when they are asleep next to you, that your laughs are more sincere when they can share in your smile.”

“Well, good for you.” Shut up, I thought.

“You know Angelica and I were best friends for a long time as well as boyfriend and girlfriend and when I lost her, I think a part of me closed down.” He paused. “But I realized yesterday that that part of me was opened again.”

“Hey, we’re here!” I shouted as we pulled up the hotel. I was excited that we had arrived. Excited that I wouldn’t have to listen to him going on about his love for Angelica. “Jane, Lewis, we’re here.”

“Oh cool.” Jane’s face was flushed and she grinned at me. I looked back at her and Lewis suspiciously. It looked like they had been making out. Great, just great, I thought annoyed.

“Hey, Jane and I are going to go and get a drink.” Lewis grinned at us and pulled Jane with him as soon as we walked into the lobby.

“That’s fine. Sarah and I will meet up with my parents.” Harry nodded at them. “You guys can check in whenever, everything’s paid for already.”

I watched as they walked away and stood there next to Harry as he got the room keys.

“I hope you don’t mind that we are together.” He looked at me anxiously. “I know it was a lot to assume but I didn’t want my parents to be suspicious.”

“It’s fine,” I mumbled. “As long as Angelica doesn’t mind,” I said under my breath.

“What’s that?” He frowned at me.

“Nothing.” I walked towards the elevators and smiled at all the tourists who were walking around and laughing. Their happiness was infectious and I found myself relaxing again.

“It’s nice here, right?” Harry smiled at me anxiously.

  “Yeah.”

  “No, yeah mon.”

“No, mon.” I grinned at him, unable to help myself.

“I thought we’d join my parents for dinner and drinks, is that okay?”

  “Yeah, I better change though.”

“Aw.” He grinned. “I quite liked the idea of dinner with a naughty schoolgirl.”

“I bet you did.” I flounced ahead of him and gasped as he ran up and wrapped his arm around my waist.

“You know what else I thought about?” He grinned as we got into the elevator.

“No, what?” I turned around to look at him and he pulled me towards him and pushed me forward lifting the back of my skirt up. Within seconds, I heard him unzip his pants and felt him ease his cock into me. “Oh my,” I groaned as he slid in and out of me and his hands reached up and cupped my breasts.

“I’ve wanted to fuck you since the car,” he groaned and we both paused when the elevator stopped. “Stand up straight.” I stood up quickly and Harry kept his cock in between my legs. An older couple got in the elevator and I tried not to look at them as I blushed. I could feel Harry’s cock rubbing against my clit and all I wanted was to feel him inside of me again.

“This is us, Gerald.” The older lady pushed her husband out of the elevator and as soon as they got out, Harry pushed me forward again and pushed his cock into my eager pussy lips.

“You are so wet,” Harry grunted as he fucked me and I shuddered as he dove into me deeper and deeper. We got to our level and he reluctantly pulled out of me and we walked out of the elevator. “Walk faster.” He grabbed my arm and pulled me to our room. I gasped as he opened the door; it was beautiful and full of big bright colors.

“Oh I love it!” I exclaimed and he grunted and pushed me down on the edge of the bed before unzipping his pants again. He pulled me so that my ass was on the edge of the bed and then he lifted my legs up over his shoulders and plunged into me again. I came as soon as the tip of his cock entered me and I closed my eyes as waves of pleasure ran through me.

“Open your eyes,” he commanded me as he slammed into me and he stared down at me as I shuddered with desire and passion as he slid his long cock in and out of me.

“Ooh!” I screamed feeling another orgasm building up in me.

“Say my name, Sarah,” he groaned as his cock started throbbing inside of me and he started plunging into me harder and harder, so that his balls were slapping my pussy.

“Oh Harry, don’t stop!” I screamed and he grabbed my hands as he came spurting into me. After about a minute, his cock stopped throbbing and slid out of my wet pussy. He collapsed on the bed next to me and kissed me.

“You’re like a drug to me, Sarah. I just can’t quit you,” he moaned and kissed me hard.

I kissed him back and closed my eyes, wondering if he would expect me to be available to him once he got back together with Angelica. “Are you able to get up and go to dinner tonight?” He sat up and grinned at me. “Or have I tired you out?”

“I’m fine.” I yawned. “Well, I should be fine.”

“Great.” He went to the bathroom and I quickly found a pair of clean panties and slacks to put on. I was brushing my hair when he came out. “You look beautiful.”

“You don’t have to say that.” I smiled self-consciously, long forgetting the plan Jane had created for me to win his heart.

“It’s true.” He pulled me towards him and breathed in. “Hmm, you smell like sex.”

“Oh no,” I groaned. “I should change.”

“No, it’s fine.” He smiled at me.

“What are your parents going to think?”

“It’s okay. I don’t care what they think. After speaking to Angelica, I realized I was wrong for doing this charade. The plan has changed.”

“Oh?” I tried to look happy but inside I felt depressed.

“Yes, I don’t want us to pretend anymore. I want to be real from here on out. My parents have to respect who I love no matter what.”

“Oh ok.” My voice sounded glum, even to myself, but Harry didn’t seem to notice.

“Let’s go.” He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the room. “Hold on a second.” He ran back into the room and I saw him stuff something into his pocket as he walked back out of the door. “My parents are waiting in the restaurant.”

“Okay.” I walked behind him and tried to not feel bad for myself. This was it. It was over. The charade was done. I stood next to Harry in the elevator and thought back to our very first meeting. “Do you remember our first meeting?” I grinned at Harry.

“How could I forget?” He grinned. “The young hot blonde telling me it was none of my business where she was going in my company.”

“And then I pretended I was good friends with the CEO.”

“Whose name you didn’t even know.” He grinned.

“Who turned out to be you.” I laughed. “Mr. Bradley.”

“Well, I had to see how far you would go with your lies.” He smiled.

“I was so scared that you would tell Lewis and I’d get fired.” I laughed. “I should have been more concerned at the lies I was telling you.”

“Oh my Sarah.” He laughed with me and we walked out of the elevator arm-in-arm. I beamed up at him and realized that no matter what, I was happy for him. I was happy that he’d found love with someone. Even if it wasn’t me. At least I knew he would be happy. And that was good enough for me.

“Sarah, Harry.” Mrs. Green came running up to us and gave me a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. “I’m so happy to see you both.” She grinned at me and then hugged her son.

“Sarah, you are looking beautiful.” Mr. Green hugged me and I smiled at him trying to hid
e my pity. What must it be like to be married to someone who loved the butler? That was only with you because you were the rich one? That made me sad for the both of them. They were both such nice people.

“What’s wrong, Sarah?” Mrs. Green looked at me with a frown. “You look sad.”

“Oh, I’m fine.” I smiled at her. “I was just thinking about life.”

“Are you still thinking about Laurie and Jo?” She smiled at me warmly.

“No.” I paused. “I get it now. There are many types of love. And sometimes settling for friends is better than nothing at all.”

“Wise woman.” She nodded. “Not many people understand that.”

“Can I ask you something?” I asked her bravely as Harry chatted to his dad about some business deal.

  “Of course, dear.”

“Is it hard seeing John the butler every day when you are married to Mr. Green?”

“No, not really. Why?” She smiled at me confused.

“Harry told me about you and him being in love and you only being with his dad because of the money.”

“What are you talking about, my dear?” She looked at me puzzled.

“Harry heard you and John speaking.”

“He heard what? Oh. Oh. Oh dear.” Mrs. Green sighed. “Yes, John and I dated years ago but I fell in love with my husband and left him. Harry most probably heard me telling John that I would always love him as my friend and that I was so lucky to have him in my life. Oh dear.” She sighed. “This explains a lot.”

I looked at her in shock. “Oh wow, so he misunderstood?”

“Yes, he did. As he does reguarly. Harry doesn’t always think through everything before he acts—he’s a bit hotheaded.” She laughed. “But you can help take care of that.”

  “Oh, I don’t know,” I started.

“I can see how in love you two are, it makes me very happy to see a woman like you adore my son.”

“Yes, I do adore him.” I sighed and looked at him laughing with his dad, his blue eyes sparkling.

“Shall we eat?” She linked arms with me and the four of us sat down at the table.

“A penny for your thoughts,” Harry whispered in my ear after we ordered a dish called saltfish.

“I was just thinking how beautiful it is here.” I gazed out at the pool and the coconut trees surrounding it. “It’s so peaceful.”

“A lot different from New York, huh?”

“Yes,” I murmured. “It’s like another world.”

“Being with you is liking being in another world.” Harry smiled at me tenderly.

“Is this the part where you want me to contact someone?” I joked. “Is it time for me to be a medium?”

  “If you want.” He laughed.

“Yeah right. Your parents would think I’m crazy if I started channeling someone.” I grinned at him.

  “I don’t care.”

  “Yeah right.”

“Go ahead and see.” He winked at me.

“Ok.” I closed my eyes and starting humming loudly. “Uhm, uhm, uhm,” I sang out loudly and opened my eyes. Mr. and Mrs. Green were staring at me in surprise and I rolled my eyeballs. “I am looking for Rasta Ma Farian,” I spoke with a Jamaican accent, hoping that they wouldn’t notice it was different to the Trinidadian accent.

“Sorry what, Sarah?” Mr. Green leaned towards me with a frown.

“I am looking for Rasta Farian lala,” I sang again and Harry poked me.

“Excuse me, I thought you said Rasta Ma Farian before?”

“What?” I tried not to glare at him.

“Are you looking for Rasta Ma Farian or Rasta Farian lala?” He grinned.

“What’s going on here, Harry?” Mrs. Green looked at us puzzled.

“Sarah’s just practicing her acting.” Harry laughed.

“No, I am not. I’m channeling someone,” I interrupted in my own voice. “Oops.”

“Oh good job, dear.” Mrs. Green smiled at me.

  “Thanks.” I glared at Harry.

“This is good a time as any, I think.” Harry grinned and cleared his throat. “I wanted to do this with my parents present because I think they thought this day would never come.” He paused and I looked at him in confusion. “Sarah Smith, I’ve never met a woman more quirky, kooky, or annoying. I’ve never met a woman so comfortable in her own skin, who makes me laugh, cry and frown.”

I felt my heart beating fast. Oh shit, I thought. He’s doing his fake proposal. He wants us to break up now, so he can go back to his true love Angelica. My mind blanked on the rest of his words as I tried not to cry and then he pulled the ring out of his pocket. And it was beautiful. A huge princess cut diamond with platinum gold. I loved it and I wanted to cry.

“Sarah Smith, will you do me the honor of marrying me?” Harry beamed at me and I burst into tears.

“No.” I jumped up and looked at his parents’ shocked faces. “No, no, no. It’s over,” I cried out and ran away from the table in tears. I looked back and saw the shock in Harry’s face and I thought to myself that maybe he was the one who should be an actor. He could certainly give me a run for my money. He played the devastated lover part well. I ran through the lobby of the hotel and waited by the elevator, unsure of where to go. I stood there crying and I felt his presence before he said a word.

“Sarah?” His tone was gentle and confused. “I think we need to talk.”

I looked up and saw Harry standing there with a concerned and loving look on his face. He looked manly and I just wanted him to hold me close to him.

“I have nothing to say.” I bit my lip. “I did what you wanted me to.”

“What?” He looked at me like I was crazy. “How did you just do what I wanted you to?”

“You wanted me to say no, so you could play the devastated boyfriend,” I cried out. “Well, now you can. And now you can run to Angelica’s arms.”

“Angelica?” He frowned. “Why would I run to her arms?”

“Because you love her,” I spat out in tears.

“Wait, what?” Harry stared down and me and then hit his hand to his forehead. “Oh my. Oh Sarah. You’ve got it all wrong.” He pulled me into his arms. “It’s you I love, you dope.”

“Wait, what?” I looked up at him through wet eyes. “You what?”

“Come, let’s go sit down.” He grabbed my hand and we went and sat next to the pool. “Oh Sarah!” He kissed me on the lips and I stared back at him in shock. “I love you, Sarah.”

“You do?” I frowned. “But you left me when I told you I loved you.”

He sighed and kissed my head. “Forgive me for that, my love.” He held my hands and stared into my eyes. “That night when we came back from my parents’, I didn’t want to leave you. I didn’t want to go back to my empty house. And then we made love and you smiled at me so sweetly and tenderly and you told me you loved me and I panicked.”

“Why?” I whispered, barely believing the words that were coming out of his mouth.

“Because I didn’t believe that a person as kind, and funny and beautiful as you could fall for me. I didn’t believe that I could be so lucky as to have found a forever love.”

“A forever love?” I smiled at him shyly.

“Yes, a forever love.” He gazed into my eyes. “A love like ours transcends time, it transcends life itself. A love like ours can be felt in the heavens. It makes the angels laugh and the devils cry. It makes the thunders roar and the rain weep. It makes the sun’s rays warm and the snowflakes melt. A love like ours is something that people search a lifetime for but never ever get. A love like ours is worth giving your life for.”

“Don’t give your life away.” I smiled at him breathless.

“Tell me Sarah. I need to hear the words,” he pleaded with me, grasping my hands to his heart.

“I love you, Harry Bradley Green.” I laughed with happiness. “I love you more than the stars in the sky, more than the fish in the ocean, more than the billions you have in the bank.

“I know.” He grinned down at me and kissed me softly. “I know.”

“I thought you didn’t believe in love?”

“Angelica made me realize…” He started and I sighed.

“Angelica again? Can I never stop hearing about this woman?”

“Don’t you understand, Sarah? When she called me to ask for my advice as an old friend, I realized that what I felt for her when we were younger paled in comparison to what I feel for you. You are part of my soul, Sarah. You are part of me.”
