A big special thanks to agent Katherine Fausset and publisher Pete Beatty for believing in this book and making it happen. I wouldn’t have got anywhere without them. Or without my parents. Or my wife, Myri, who has put up with my covering drug traffickers for the last decade. Thank you.

  A Note on the Author
