Thank you to all of my fans on Literotica who keep me writing and who enjoy my work enough to follow me to the Kindle.
As usual, thank you to my wonderful and understanding husband who thinks it’s great that I engage my dirty mind.
And a special thank you to my friend Jimmy who wouldn’t leave me the f*ck alone wanting to know about how Todd and Allison met / ended up at that fateful poker game.
Chapter 1
Allison smoothed her skirt over her thighs as it fluttered up, her steps were quick as she headed towards her English class. The butterflies in her stomach had nothing to do with any excitement over Matthew Lewis’ The Monk. No those butterflies were because of the route she was taking, on that took her almost five minutes out of her way. Just so she could pass by a particular spot on campus.
Her body recognized him almost before she saw him, her breath catching as he turned his head, profile outlined by a clear blue sky. Todd Rinald and his frat brothers, hanging outside the gym, like they always did at this time of day when it was nice weather - and ever since spring had arrived there had been a lot of nice weather.
One day she’d taken a longer than usual route, just to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and because she hadn’t been in a hurry, and there he was, casually leaning against the stone work along the path, checking out the girls who walked by. Gorgeous, just over six feet tall, with wavy black hair and deep brown eyes that most girls wanted to melt into. He looked like a pirate. A rogue. If he hadn’t been so plebian, Allison might have considered dating him.
However, when your father was the president of a multi-million dollar corporation, dating someone like Todd just wasn’t done. She needed a man that she could take to charity dinners, who could interact with state senators and CEOs, and who would help cement her father’s image as the perfect family man and businessman. That kind of thing mattered. At twenty-six, Todd was older than her, even though they were both juniors in college. During the fall semester he had been her lab partner in the last Chemistry class she’d ever have to take – thank God – and she’d found out that this was his second time at college. He’d had to leave to earn more money and get another scholarship before he could return.
Not that anyone would look down on him for that. It was admirable really. But he didn’t come from the social set that anyone she dated would have to be a part of. Daddy would never approve.
Which, of course, made him all the more interesting to her. Especially because when she’d flirted with him, just for fun, he’d immediately shut her down. That dark gaze of his had left her stammering – and Allison Bradford was never at a loss for words. He’d made her feel like a silly little girl, not the confident and accomplished young woman that she knew she was.
Walking by here and ignoring him had become something of a ritual for her. A way to prove that his rejection of her hadn’t affected her at all. Not that he seemed to notice that she was ignoring him, she thought, seething a little, but none of her inner turmoil showed on her face.
“Alllison.” The deep voice intoning her name made her jump, and a flush of heat ran up into her cheeks. Suddenly he was standing right next to her. Dammit, how did he make her feel so small? At five feet, seven inches she wasn’t exactly short, but next to Todd she felt tiny. Petite. Delicate.
No. She would not start thinking about how good that felt. It was just some kind of mind trick he played.
“Todd,” she said, turning ninety degrees to bestow a dazzling smile on him. Allison knew she looked good today. She never passed by here unless she was looking fantastic. The short fluttering royal blue skirt highlighted her long legs, and the crisp white button down top she wore was tailored to her curvy body exactly. There were just enough buttons undone to give her a hint of cleavage, but nothing trashy. Of course the fact that he was looking down at her might give him a better view. Unconsciously she took a deep breath, her chest swelling a bit.
“You walk by here a lot.” The tone of his voice was indifferent, uncaring. Just an observation. “Where are you headed?”
“English 301.” The class that all Juniors had to take.
She winced as his eyes drifted back from the direction she’d come. For anyone who knew the campus it was obvious that she’d gone out of her way.
“It’s so beautiful out lately,” she said breezily, tossing a lock of hair over her shoulder as she tried to cover her tracks. “I love walking around campus when it’s like this.”
“You never say hello when you pass.”
The sudden change in topic made her grit her teeth. Todd had done this all last semester too, always pushing her off balance. Saying things bluntly instead of talking around them politely. Every WASP bone in her body objected to the lack of cordiality. People weren’t just supposed to say things like that! But then again she wasn’t always a good WASP either.
“Neither do you,” she responded tartly. She started to turn on her heel, ready to leave him in her dust.
“Want to go grab a drink?”
Allison turned back staring at him in disbelief. His hands were tucked into the pockets of his jeans, the dark green shirt he was wearing looking fantastic against his olive tinted skin. The smile on his face was mocking, challenging. Sunglasses covered his eyes from her, but she suddenly felt as if she was being watched by some kind of predator; a hawk going after a rabbit. Or a fox, she told herself. She didn’t have to be a rabbit; she could be a predator too, not his prey.
“I just said I’m on my way to class,” she said finally. And cursed inwardly as she realized that she hadn’t sounded firm at all, like she’d intended. Her voice had been slightly breathy, as if inviting him to talk her out of going.
“Of course,” he said. “Wouldn’t want to get you in trouble with Daddy for skipping class or drinking.”
Damn him. She curled her hands into fists. As if she didn’t have a mind of her own. Just because she lived at home with her parents didn’t make her into a little girl. She regretted ever mentioning her living situation to him.
“You know what? You’re right. I could use a drink,” she said, stepping closer to him and looking up into his face, trying to see his eyes through the sunglasses. He didn’t back away, he just looked down at her as if assessing her intent. Smiling sweetly, Allison turned to start walking in a completely different direction that she’d been heading. “You coming?”
She kept walking, determined not to turn around when she heard his frat buddies ribbing him. Then he was next to her, walking easily alongside of her, not even breathing hard although he must have had to move quickly to catch up.
Two hours and four dry martinis later – martinis for her anyway, beer for Todd – Allison was surprised at how good a time she was having. They’d gone to one of the bars right next to the campus, which she’d never been to before because it wasn’t exactly her kind of establishment. She’d expected that he would spend the entire time mocking her, like he had all last semester. The plan had been to have one drink to prove that he didn’t bother her and then she was going to dip out and leave him wishing she’d stayed. Instead they’d talk. About classes. His frat activities – his frat was running a fundraiser to benefit children with autism and he was in charge of promoting it to local businesses.
Todd was easy to talk to. She didn’t have to stand on her manners, he certainly didn’t, and he didn’t care if she cursed or said whatever was on her mind. And the more she drank, the more holes she punched into her verbal filter.
“So, Allison.” Todd leaned forward, his eyes
traveling over her face and down her neck to her cleavage, eventually skimming over the skin of her thighs as she fought the instinct to push the hem of her skirt down. Something about the way Todd looked at her made her feel both sexy and vulnerable. “What made you agree to get a drink? I didn’t think you were actually going to say yes.”
Allison snorted. “Well maybe you don’t know me as well as you think you do.”
“Is that an invitation to get to know you better?” Instead of sounding turned on, like other guys who had used that line or one similar to it, he sounded amused. That really got under her skin.
“You wish.” She sipped her martini, looking away from him. There was small knot in the center of her stomach. Allison was used to guys who asked her to inner, showed up with flowers and took her somewhere nice. Whatever she was doing here with Todd, it was way outside of her experience. It made her feel unsure and excited.
A finger trailed down her thigh and Allison shivered, feeling herself becoming instantly wet between her legs. Shocked eyes turned to look at him. Men didn’t just reach out and touch her intimately like that; certainly not in public. The smirk on his face made her want to slap him. Or kiss him. Which was just about the stupidest thought she’d ever had.
“What do you wish, Allison?” His voice was lower. More intimate. She found herself leaning towards him without knowing why. The fingers that had just touched her leg brushed across her cheek, sweeping tumbled curls back and tucking them behind her ear. “What do you want?’
God what a question. What did she want? Allison bit her lip, looking at him. What she wanted she could never have. A normal life. The option to jump in the sack with the hot man in front of her and have a crazy hot sex. But if it ever got out… even now she was risking her father’s wrath by being in a bar with him. Of course, no one here should know her. It shouldn’t get back to her father. She should be safe. But this was not behavior he would approve of and her company would infuriate him. No lower or middle class men for his darling girl.
Fingertips trailed across her cheek again and then curved under her chin. Todd’s thumb pressed against her parted lips, rubbing the lower one sensuously. Allison barely managed to stifle the groan in the back of her throat. His dark eyes seemed to burrow into her, reading the rebellious and wild nature that she kept carefully confined, hidden away behind the façade and mask of upper class respectability.
With a wrench, Allison leaned back, pulling herself away and giving a half laugh. “What do I want? I want to be able to just be me.” Taking a long swallow of her martini to wipe away the bitterness in her voice, she made a face as the words tumbled from her mouth. “Sometimes I wish someone would just come along and make me do all the things I really want to do. Capture me and take me away. Or blackmail me into doing them so at least it wouldn’t be my choice and I wouldn’t have to feel guilty.”
Todd leaned forward, the movement caught her eye and she turned to look at him. The intensity in his gaze made her insides tighten in a way that she’d never felt before. “And what do you really want to do?”
Allison looked back at him, those melting dark eyes that seemed to hook into her darkest desires and see her clearly, without judgment. Her heartbeat fluttered, increasing as if she were running a race.
“Everything.”
Chapter 2
Shit! Allison thought… how could she have been so stupid? She was sitting in nothing but her g-string, across from Todd, and there was nothing in her poker hand. Absolutely nothing. What made it worse was that he was down to his boxers, whoever lost this hand was the loser of the whole game. All she could do was hope that he didn’t have anything better than a Queen high.
After the bar Todd had asked her if she’d ever played strip poker. Of course she hadn’t. Then he invited her over. The alcohol and the daring expression in his eyes after her confession had provoked her into saying yes. Talking with him, admitting that there were experiences out there that she craved and had never had, made her feel even more rebellious. His apparent approval of this side of her let her feel free to indulge in it a little bit. Plus, strip poker sounded like fun. Especially with a smoking hot guy like Todd. It also sounded dangerous. Allison wanted a little of both. She’d texted her mother and told her that she was having a study session with a friend and would eat dinner out.
Now she realized that she’d gotten in way over her head.
The pretty brunette didn’t even realize that her face showed everything that was going on in her head, not that Todd was spending all that much time looking at her face. Her pert 34C breasts with their puckered pink nipples were finally on display. He could see her face any time he wanted, this was something special. Todd subdued his impulse to grin at her discomfort, enjoying that she was exploring her wild side with him. A few of the guys from his frat had dated her and he knew that none of them had seen this much of her! True, she’d probably never date someone from his background, but he was thoroughly enjoying himself with her today. Under her prissy and overly mannered exterior, there was a wild child just waiting to burst free and he found himself fascinated by the small glimpse he was getting. Not to mention the spectacular glimpse of her body.
When Allison put down her Queen high Todd almost groaned. The three Jacks in his hand seemed wasted when hers was so completely lousy. Still, it’s not like he could truly be upset since he was finally going to see all of her gorgeous body.
Allison glared at him, hazel eyes sparking with anger and pride. The smug jackass was just grinning back at her, waiting for his victory. She couldn’t take it. It wasn’t a sore loser thing but she was angry at the world right now. Something had to go her way in her life. Somehow she felt sure that humiliating Todd, making up for her embarrassment last semester when he’d turned her down, would do that. The plan to leave him at the bar wanting hadn’t worked out, but she’d wanted to see him naked and preferably hard in front of her so that she could set him down and withhold the view of her own body from him.
“One last hand, all or nothing,” she demanded.
“We just had the last hand and I already get to see all.” Grinning, Todd leaned back, raising his eyebrows at her and waving his hand, as if telling her to get on with the show.
Allison felt reckless, her nerves humming with energy. For the first time in her life, she really felt fully alive.
“Really all or nothing. I f you win, I’ll be yours, completely, to do whatever you want with for tonight. If I win, I get the same. And I mean anything.”
Taken aback, Todd thought quickly, no emotion showing on his closed face. Who knew what embarrassing things she might have him do. Allison could have a mean streak to her and he was sure that if he lost she’d be the only one getting satisfaction from tonight. On the other hand, if she lost…
“Alright.” He gave her a stern look. “But you need to take off your last item now. I have to lose twice in order for you to win the night.” She looked at him aghast. “It makes sense. If you hadn’t proposed this then I’d be seeing what’s under that delightful thong right now and you’d have just lost the game completely.”
Grimly Allison agreed. She wasn’t sure what had spurred her to make the wager. A desperate need inside of her perhaps. Her best kept secret was that she was still a virgin. Her mouth wasn’t, but she’d been very good about not letting anyone into her pants. Todd was exactly the wrong kind of guy to lose her virginity to, and yet right now it seemed like it might not be that bad of an idea. He certainly gave off the impression of knowing what he was doing. Only if she lost though.
If she won… she wondered what the wavy black hair on his head would look like between her legs.
Fate must be against her, she thought glumly. It was almost her worst hand of the night. Discarding three cards, she perked up a bit when she ended up with a pair of Jacks. Maybe it wasn’t the best hand in the world, but it might not be the worst either. She could still pull this off.
No such luck.
Todd had managed
another trio, three tens this time. As she looked up at him, she realized that his eyes had changed from vaguely interested in looking at her to something much more intense.
Her earlier conviction that losing her virginity tonight was swept away in sudden fear. Quickly standing, she tried to babble out some reason why she had to go now. As she turned to make a run for it, reaching down to try and scoop up her clothes, Todd jumped up from behind the table. Her nerveless fingers dropped the clothing and she found herself pressed up against the wall, her cry of protest cut off as he covered her mouth with one broad hand.
Heart pounding she froze, like a deer in the headlights, unsure of what to do or where to run.
Hard hips trapped her from behind, pressing his erection into the softness of her ass cheeks. Allison’s breasts were flattened against the wall, her nipples hard against the cool, smooth surface. Oh god… why was this so hot? She realized that being trapped by him was turning her on. She had to get out of here before she listened to her body and did something she’d regret later.
SMACK!
She jumped and screamed as his hand came down heavily on her ass. It didn’t hurt that much, but it had frightened her. And yet the stinging pain it left behind in its wake felt kind of good. Oh… what was wrong with her?
“You weren’t thinking about going anywhere were you?” Hot breath wafted across the back of her neck and the low, growling whisper in her ear made her shiver. “Not after we made a deal. You lost the bet, princess. Time to pay up.” He turned her to face him, dark eyes burning into hers as he pressed his hips forward and his erection dug into her stomach.
Trapped in his gaze, she stared up at him, licking her suddenly dry lips. “I wasn’t… I didn’t…” She was stammering again. Confusion reigned; fear and arousal were fighting a heavy battle for dominance within her body.
Lips came down on hers, not hard as she’d expected, but passionately and almost sweetly. It had been a long time since someone had kissed her like that, if anyone ever had. Her body began to relax into the kiss and her mouth opened against his probing tongue. When his hand began to run down her naked body she recalled herself and tried to pull away, banging into the wall behind her. The kiss became rougher, deeper, as she tried to turn her head away, commanding her submission. The worst part was that she wanted to melt and give it to him.
