Baby Bargain (Winston Brothers Book 3) Page 10

by Stacey Lewis

Pulling my phone out once more I look at all the text I’ve sent, each one showing they’ve been read but not responded too.

“Fuck.” I mutter under my breath for the millionth time today. It’s possible that she isn’t here right now but there’s no real way to know unless I go to the bar she works at and still that might be a bad idea because it push her further away.

I clench my teeth together, unsure of what the hell I’m doing standing here waiting for this door to open.

“She doesn’t want you idiot.” I say to no one but myself, and yet I don’t digest the words completely. I have to have her. I have to find a way to make her want me the way I want her too. It might sound desperate but no one has intrigued me like she has. No one has made my heart pound, and my legs jelly.

One time with her has me pleading for another, even though I know it can only lead to heartache and pain. I pocket my phone and head back out to my car. At the very least I need to make sure she is okay. After our meeting she looked distraught and upset.

With my stomach full of knots I drive in the direction of the bar. If she isn’t there I could check the hospital but apart of me feels like that might be crossing the line.

I pull into the parking lot of Abe’s and scan the lot, my eyes honing in on Mel’s small car. When I see it elation fills my veins, but then the anger surges to the forefront of my mind, and I’m reminded of the fact that she ignored me, and every single message I sent her over the last two days. I find a parking spot and throw my car into park. I exhale, squeezing the steering wheel well I try to calm myself. Maybe the contract was too much for her? Thoughts funnel in and out of my mind as I try and conjure up every single excuse I can, even though I know deep down inside that she’s avoiding me.

I push the thoughts away and exit the car. There is no way in hell that I’m going to let her walk away from me or avoid me this time. I let the words sink in, and chant them as I walk into Abe’s bar. When my eyes hone in on Mel every single thing in my mind fades away.

All the questions, and aggression are gone. Mel’s all smiles until she notices who it is that just walked through the door.

“What do you want?” She grumbles, her eyes skirting away from mine. I wonder if she refuses to look at me because she too feels it.

I place my ass on one of the bar stools and stare at her, taking in her long black hair, and perfect pouty lips. She’s fucking gorgeous, absolute perfection and she wants nothing to do with me. The thought hits me like a ton of bricks and I’m reminded why I’m here after all.

“Why’re you screening my texts and phone calls?” I demand an answer, and leave no room for an excuse. The bar is quiet, with literally no patrons so my voice sounds louder then it really is. She narrows her gunmetal blue eyes at me as if to say you know why.

“Go away Remy. I signed your dumb contract and I’ll do what you need to me to do to repay the debt but I refuse to have this conversation or worse yet be stalked by you.” I clench my fist without realizing I’m doing so. Her words sting, a-fuckin-lot.

I let out an amused laugh, “I’m not stalking you. I want to make sure you were okay, and as for repaying the debt you agreed to it when you signed your name on the dotted line. You also agreed to remain in contact with me at all time.” I hiss, fire filling my belly. I’m full of pent up need, and anger. I have half a mind to pull her across the bar and kiss the fuck out of her, but before I even get the chance she throws down her towel and stomps to the back of the bar, going through a pair of double doors that I assume lead to the kitchen.

I couldn’t stop myself if I did. I walk my happy ass around the bar and follow her to the back, my feet pounding against the concrete just like hers did. When I push through the double doors I spot her towards the back. She turns on her heels fast, venom stirs in her gaze and I know were about to have one of many sparring matches.

“I’d do anything for you Mel, but I can’t do something when I don’t fucking know where you are.” I take a defying step towards her. She doesn’t seem bothered in the least bit and instead crosses the space between us, her hands sinking into the fabric of my shirt as she grabs it and pulls me into her space. Her lips crash against mine before I even realize what is happening, any and all words I wanted to say are pushed the back of my mind as I wrap my arms around her. One hand rests against her hip well the other tangles in her soft hair.

Her back makes contact with the wall or maybe a box, or even the back door, neither of us know, or really seem to care. When she starts pulling at my belt I pull away ever so slightly, my lips ghost against hers as I speak my next words, “Stop running from me. Stop hiding, and pretending like you don’t want this. I can see it. I can feel it in the way you kiss me and the way your body trembles when I touch you. It’s more than sex Mel, so much more.”

I can feel the tremble of her lips as she sucks my bottom lip into her mouth. The sensation has my cock rock hard, and threatening to bust through the seam of my jeans. God, the way she makes me feel is unlike anything else I’ve ever felt before. I wonder for a fraction of a second if this is all too good to be true.

I know I love her, but if I can’t get her to see the love I can offer her, then how will we ever be together?

“I’m terrified of falling.” She whispers against my lips, her body tensing for barely a second, like she can’t believe she admitted it, but she quickly recovers. Moving south, her lips painting a masterpiece of love against my skin as she sucks and bites all the sensitive spots along my throat and below my ear.

It takes everything in me to concentrate on what she’s said and not rip her clothes off of her and fuck her senseless against the wall.

“Why?” It’s my turn to show how vulnerable she makes me and I do, as I speak, my voice cracking as need for her trickles up my spine.

“Happily ever afters don’t exist in my world. I don’t want to fall in love like my mother did and end up in the same boat she’s in now.” Mel’s voice is so quiet, and I can tell her fear is real. I can feel it, and it saddens me to know that she’s had to witness that kind of heartache and that it’s shaped her into the woman she is today, afraid of finding love, and loving in return.

I grip her by the chin, and force her to look into my eyes. She tries to shy away, but I grip her tighter, forcing her to look at me, to really see me.

“I’ll never hurt you like that. I’ll never let you go. In my eyes you’re already mine. I’m just waiting for you to realize it.”

She doesn’t even let me get the rest of the words I have planned to say out before her mouth is on mine again. Then it’s as if something I said set a spark off deep inside of her. She undoes my belt, and I pull off her shirt, and before long were both naked, her sweet pussy is gripping my cock in a vice as I move in and out of her. Her toned legs are wrapped around my backside and I’ve never felt so fucking good inside a woman before.

“Fuck me Remy.” She demands. I smirk, taking one of her puckered nipples between my fingers and twisting it just enough to watch her eyes roll to the back of her head.

“Only if you say please.” I moan as she squeezes me with her inner walls. My cock all but screams for me to pound into her but I don’t. I keep my pace and move in and out of her slowly, enjoying every single wet slip inside her.

A pout forms on Mel’s face and I can’t resist the puppy dog eyes she’s giving me. She wants me to fuck her good then I’ll fuck her good. I pull out, and drop her feet to floor, not even acknowledging her grumble of displeasure as I did so. Then I navigate us towards a metal table that looks as if it’s used to prep foods on. As soon as her skin touches the cold metal she moans. I smirk, gripping her by her hips and plowing deep inside her.

My body shakes as I do, her soft curves beckoning me forward, pushing me closer and closer to the edge. My eyes move down to her perfect heart shaped ass. I slap one cheek leaving a red welt in my wake.

She moans against the table, her face and chest pressed firmly against it as if she
cannot get enough of what I have to offer. I up my pace, and slap the other cheek earning me a louder moan. I don’t give a fuck that were in her place of employment or that someone could walk in one us, or even hear us.

All I care about is making Mel feel the same way she makes me feel.

“Fuck baby, come for me. I need you to come for me.” I order, snaking a hand between her body and the table, my fingers finding her slippery clit with ease.

As soon as I press against the tight bundle of nerves she goes off, her pussy tightens around my cock squeezing the life out of me. The air leaves my chest, and my heartbeat sounds as if it’s in my ears. All I feel is Mel, and the pleasure she brings me.

It’s only seconds later that I find my own release. I empty every last drop of my release inside her, and feel the rush of my climax tingle down my spine. My toes curl into my shoes but I don’t let go. I squeeze her hips until I know I’m leaving bruises, hoping and praying like hell this will be the last time I have to chase after the woman I love.

  Chapter Fifteen

  Mel

I feel at home when he’s inside me. Like nothing bad can or ever will happen. And apart of me believes that to be true. Remy is the knight and shining armor I read about in story books as a kid, but believing that we can make it makes me feel like I’m setting myself up for failure.

When the euphoric feeling wears off Remy helps me get dressed. I barely have my shirt one when Abe walks in. The smell of sex still permeates the air and I know without saying anything that he knows what we did.

“Well it ain’t the first time Mel’s been screwed in the back of this bar…” I blink astounded that Abe would say such a thing, at the very least right in front of me. But before I can get even a word in Remy’s at my defense, his nostrils flaring and his fists clenched as if he’s ready to pummel Abe.

“What the fuck did you just say?” Remy snears but Abe isn’t scared of Remy. They’re both just about matched. Same height, same weight.

“You heard me asshole. You ain’t the first bastard to fuck her in the back of this bar and you won’t be the…” Abe doesn’t get to finish his sentence because before the rest of the words can come out Remy’s fist is colliding with Abe’s cheek. The sound of bone slamming against skin fills the tiny space and I don’t even get a chance to react before they’re tousling around the room. Abe swinging fists while Remy slams him against every surface he can.

“Stop! Stop!” I order both of them, slithering between their bodies. Remy has Abe by the collar his fists white knuckle the fabric. I have to stop this. “Remy let him go.”
