Wrapped in his embrace Annabelle languidly ran her fingers over his torso, and down to the silky skin on the inside of his hip. Stroking it, she kissed his chest and moving her hand down further she placed it on him, purring with delight as she found him ready for her.
Growling, he pulled her on top of him and throwing his arms behind her back he locked her in a cage of chest and muscular arms. “Not yet, there’s something I need to discuss.” At her frown he brushed his lips over hers and spinning over he placed her beneath him. “It’s nothing bad, I promise. Do you trust me?”
For an answer she raised her hips and wriggled against him, smiling wickedly as she saw his lips tilt up.
“Very good, I’ll take that as a yes then shall I?” He laughed. “Annabelle do you remember what I said earlier about having a titbit I was withholding from you?” She nodded and clearing his throat he went on, “Well, you say you’re worried about growing old and losing your looks. Those concepts are meaningless to me, I’d always love you, but I’m not prepared to lose you to Death. It is within my power to fix this…small problem, if you wish it.”
“What are you talking about?” She gasped as the penny dropped and his veiled meaning became clear. “You mean Immortality, don’t you? But how? Wouldn’t that go against you know..?” She rolled her eyes heavenward and his eyes twinkled like a naughty child caught with their hand in the lolly-jar.
